Totally agree in regards to MMs jerking the pps around. They know they can bait investors here with small trades because the share structure is so good. In response to your question about CELH "popping," I think it's pretty clear to see the ship turning around here. It's only a matter of time before the new management gets things right, along with the global exposure and traction of the powdered drinks, and we see CELH really start to move.
I also mentioned in a previous post that the CFO explicitly stated the company has absolutely no intention of going private. That should make sense considering CDS recently pushed back all debts payable to 2014, converted $500,000 of debt to shares, AND INCREASED THEIR LINE OF CREDIT. It wouldn't surprise me if we see CELH current on the OTC and maybe even Nasdaq before long...
not much paint today - some decent trading actually. just waiting for CELH to pop...
paint it up baby! i can't wait til they get more publicity - with their share structure, CELH will explode!
schwab says the price is not available for SNRS anymore. has this pos breathed its last dirty breath?
Yea, I've seen the sets in Safeway too. Great placement, and the shelf was almost out of Berry Lemonade and Green Apple already!
Jones is set to explode in the next couple of quarters - we just need the market to price in all the progress they are making with all the new distribution. Gotta get to $1!
Updated quarterly breakdown:
Q1 2012 | $2.5 million | -$3.0 mil | ($536,000)
Q4 2011 | $1.8 million | -$2.5 mil | ($716,000)
Q3 2011 | $2.5 million | -$2.8 mil | ($278,000)
Q2 2011 | $2.0 million | -$2.5 mil | ($456,000)
Q1 2011 | $2.2 million | -$2.7 mil | ($459,632)
Decent revenues, same expenses, same losses - gotta get expenses down. It feels like we're close to being profitable but just haven't quite figured out how to control the spending yet...
nice support building around $.30, moving up from $.283 over the last 2 weeks. less resistance too. could we see support move up to $.35 and resistance near $.45?
800 drives sp up .07...
Nice. Some really good things going on here - the turnaround is in motion!
Love to see revenues up and losses decreasing. Anyone concerned about revenues falling in relation to marketing and advertising can rest easy. Looks like the new strategy is working!
CELH has a 52 week low of $0.14 and we've seen support around $0.20 for that past 6 months, so the downside risk is actually pretty low. The upside, on the other hand, is huge! At these levels, CELH is TOTALLY worth the risk imo. We're talking about stocks here, everything is a risk...
Appreciate your opinion kezzek. Personally, I feel pretty confident they won't be going private. I guess we'll have to wait and see...
Conversation with John Fieldly, CFO:
1) Does Celsius have any plans to register on one of the bigger boards (AMEX or NASDAQ?), at least becoming a current pink sheet, or taking the company private?
CELSIUS HAVE NO PLANS TO GO PRIVATE. The delisting was to cut costs and adjust their strategy to focus more on less costly promotions as opposed to the high profile advertising in previous years. They fully intend to get back onto the BB in the near future. They will also continue to post PR updates despite having no legal filing requirements. An update is expected in the coming weeks...
2) It seems like there is little to no distribution. Has any attempt been made to reach out to stores like GNC or Whole Foods to get product on the shelf?
The product is currently in many major retailers, and can be found using the store locator on their website. They are also working on a number of global distribution deals, especially in Europe. He said they are seeing it really take off in Sweden. He also mentioned they are working to get into the equivalent of Walgreens in Australia.
3) What is the margin on Celsius products? From conversations with people at Jones Soda about what they are doing, it sounds like there is huge potential for a company like Celsius to make a big impact in the specialty beverage market.
Margins are spread across the country as they have a warehouse on the East coast. The highest margins are in powdered mixes. There highest expenses to date have been in marketing, but they have completely stripped down the marketing budget to the essentials and are focusing on in-store promotions.
Again, do some DD and see for yourself...
Just had a great conversation with the CFO, John Fieldly. Do your DD folks, you might be pleasantly surprised...
Not sure if we can say much until we hear the earnings in a couple of weeks. Then we'll have a better idea of what to expect in the future based their progress...
Yea. At this point, knowing what we know and knowing what we DON'T know, it's tough to have much long term confidence. I'm still pretty optimistic. Still waiting for some more info from the company...
i would say shorting makes no sense. barely any money to be made, and considering CELH moves 10 with 500 shares, shorting is pretty quick way to find yourself owing A LOT of money...
Could we finish the week in the .40's?
"Investing in Wind Energy in 2012 is like investing in coca cola or johnson & johnson back in the 80s."
I'm assuming you mean it's a good idea since they are not only industry leaders, but two of the largest companies in the world?
Z - Can you post where shareholders can go to vote? Thanks
Well obviously all those things would have to take place first. Hence the arrows establishing the chain of events...
Good sales, bad margins. Hopefully the company turn things around before September or this really will be a bad situation for everyone...
Buyers<-Publicity<-Coverage<-Big Board Listing...
My bad, thought it was from this year...
Interesting article on BWEN and wind energy in general...
http://seekingalpha.com/article/262753-5-reasons-to-buy-broadwind-energy
I can't believe how cheap BWEN is right now. Should be interesting to see next earnings and how the restructuring is coming along...
CELH still way undervalued...Could we see earnings in the black for Q1?
Totally agree with everything, except I don't think the average is that bad, especially in regards to the price. Lots of pennies average millions of shares a day but they are all sub-pennies. I'm looking at volume more as an indicator of interest rather than how it affects the price, which is why big days like monday are always nice to see. As long as there is interest, price movement will take of itself...
I can't find a single post where anyone, other than you, suggested anything less than the average volume traded is "amazing." Believe me, I'll be the first to admit these last 2 days have been slow...
Who said 125 and 262 was amazing? That's terrible.
Wow, off to the races again today...
Has anyone been able to contact the company? I got in touch with the CFO today, so hopefully I'll have some good info to post soon!
they make money when the stock trades, not when it sits at zero. zero days turn people off, which means they make less money. MMs create fake action all the time...
Nah, it seems like every day there are small lots with little impact on the price - definitely MMs moving things around just to make we don't have a zero trade day like you said.
Safe to say yesterday was a zero trade day. 125 are just the MMs.
Looking for a nice comeback today...
What a crap day...
Great info! Hopefully some of the new authorization sales sneak into Q1 earnings - that would be a huge boost and further confirmation that we are headed in the right direction.
Shorts get it wrong just as much as anyone else. Also, what you're saying is conflicting.
You say short interest is falling and they are looking for lower prices...So if they are looking for lower prices (aka holding their position), how is the short interest falling? Seems like there is a lot of short interest still and not much lower to go in price considering historic lows. This is a prime entry point IMO, and the short squeeze is gonna hit hard as more people jump in.
with a potential short squeeze coming, we could actually see $2. i was being conservative at $1 because we need to see good earnings, but maybe $2 is closer considering the short interest...
Short squeeze and super low float... We could seem some serious movement here with any positive news at all.
Anyone have any idea what the margin is on BWEN products? All these multimillion $ orders mean nothing if they aren't making any money. I like BWEN, I just hope they are able to get operating expenses under control so revenues can start to count toward the bottom line...
Definitely not an explosion. Still above average though.
