Quantum Materials is working with Uniglobe Kisco Inc., a major Japanese film provider, lending credibility to their claims
Looks like the machine is ready to role.
Lol pence
Not running any company in the ground but giving Nanoco as a reference, they have been in business since 2001 with sales only recently. Future is bright.
Look at what QMC has accomplished in just 7 years. Most of the QD companies have been business since 2000. Steve and company has achieved so much more in half the time and a penance of what there companies have spent.
Birth of one of the biggest players in Nano, one that will play out for years to come. Steve has done a great job of building this company on bread crumbs. Most would have quit but he has stayed the course. Kudos
Good choices equal strong progression, Nasdaq. Looking solid
Superior hire for sure.
A man of his experience and track record had his choice of companies to choose from and he picked QMC. Says alot
Sri Peruvembas experience with flexable displays,e-inks,wearable's will play a huge part in marketing Quantum Dots. I think its huge that a man of his caliber join QMC
The list put together by Sri Peruvemba, CEO of Marketer International and Head of Marketing for the Society for Information Display, includes wearables, curved screens, quantum dots, more pixels/enhanced readability, better image quality, immersive virtual reality, flexible & foldable/rollable displays, secondary displays, displays for writing and haptic enabled displays

I totally agree.
Right on Solar, QMC is moving right along buddy.
Good article
Hydrophobic, superhydrophobic and olephobic coatings are now finding application in a wide range of industrial and consumer markets. These coatings are characterized by very high water and oil contact angles and are applied to a wide variety of surfaces and substrates, imparting anti-fingerprint, anti-soil, anti-fouling, self-cleaning, anti-icing, anti-microbial, easy-to-clean and anti-corrosion properties

According to Susan Eustis, “The commercialization of quantum dots using kilogram quantity mass production is a game-changer. High quality, high quantity and lowest price quantum dots increase product quality in every industry.
The rate of change means speeded products cycles are evolving.”
Once manufacturers learn to integrate higher efficiency luminescent quantum dots into their products, each vendor will need to follow or dramatically lose market share. This level of change brought by quantum dot and quantum dot displays (QLED) represents a new paradigm that will create new industries, products and jobs in science and industry.
I agree Trev, many don't understand the magnitude of QD and how many areas of your everyday life that will be impacted. Just like DDHAWK has always said this is as diverse of a portfolio wrapped up into one stock.
Does look like the Tide has changed

Once big volume hits it will be of no concern. Small plays to bring down pps will be flushed

Looking good, real good.
First mistake, I'm no guru. There are many on this board much more in the know than me. Good luck
Your the throwing out blanket claims, show one example how these pending matters involve QMC.
I think you may want to look over the QMC patent portfolio before you make a blanket statement. You also have to consider there are many types of QD. It would be like I have a patent for paint so nobody else can make paint.
I think everyone has infringed on one of QMC'S PATENTS am I correct in my thinking Trev
That's a good one Dock
Huh, that is very funny.
We will, we will have our day.
I hope it gets to 8cents, would like to make one final large purchase
Samsung announces “Quantum dot display era” with 2016 SUHD TVs

Thanks, good words Exterminator.
Uniformity is highly valued in displays due to the increased color purity, in sensors for more accuracy and in biotech for easier multiplexing. It is a good measure of the quality of quantum dots and one for which a premium might be charged to a client. One of the primary reasons there are only a few quantum dot commercial products is because it is difficult to produce uniform quantum dots from batch to batch. Without a reliable supply of uniform quantum dots, production cannot be planned, results in the final product could vary when precision is needed, and product data sheets would be inaccurate.
Tetrapod Quantum Dot Solar Cells
Solterra Renewable Technologies, Inc., the wholly-owned subsidiary of QMC is developing Next-Gen QD Solar Cells printing by roll-to-roll processes.
In Photovoltaic Solar Cells longer arms will absorb more photons. In Biotech, shorter arms have higher surface to mass ratios for better functionalization while maintaining charge transport advantages. Except for size and color, It is not easy to adjust the inherent characteristics of spheroid hybrid quantum dots by synthesis, but only by surface modification or attachments, adding expense and possible error to the process
Current industry manual “batch” processing produces small amounts at single cycle/day speed. In 2014, Quantum Materials Corp introduced an automated process for mass production of quantum dots, solving the problem of reliable availability of quantum dots. A proprietary microreactor uses ordinary non-toxic, biodegradable detergent surfactants as the main chemical used in a safe, green, environmentally friendly manufacturing process that can currently produce over 2250 Kg per year and can be scaled to higher production. Software controlled automation is key to producing uniform quantum dots by controlling all synthesis aspects without expensive specialists and time required. Quantum Materials’ process uses tight production control parameters for repeatable, precise control of shape and size. Additional production units will be added as the market demands

Named after Irish physicist George G. Stokes, Stokes shift is the difference between quantum dot’s peak excitation and the peak emission wavelengths. Minimizing overlap between total excitation and emission bands enhances the clarity and brightness of the fluorescing quantum dot by avoiding re-absorption of emitted light into nearby quantum dots - characteristics that display manufacturers and end-users find highly desirable. Until now it has not been possible to produce Stokes shift in quantum dots of up to 20nm in quantities suitable for manufacturing applications, but Quantum Material's patent-protected continuous flow production process enables automated synthesis with uniformity necessary for achieving precise characteristics for high-volume production of highly-driven Strong Shift quantum dots
Intrinsic physical sizes are comparable to the critical sizes of many important properties of a given class of functional materials
•Wavelength of the electron wave function
•Diameter of photo-generated excitons
•Domain size of magnetic single domains
•Large surface-to-volume atom ratio alters the chemical potential of the structural
•Large surface-to-volume atom ratio different in comparison to corresponding bulk crystals
•Strongly size-dependent solubility of nanocrystals
•Presence of size dependent structures in the nanometer regime
•Electron band configuration
•Surface structure
•Surface reconstruction
•Unique crystal structures
