Looks like some fluff. Would like to see any evidence of a sale. Haven't seen any news on new sales for eons.
Can't imagine how they can stay in business at this point.
It sure sounds like it by the first quarter report. Really gloomy and depressing. Don't know if it is possible now to turn things around. They don't sell enough widgets. Maybe the only hope is a buyout but don't know if lowly shareholders would get anything out of that.
"Pushing The Boundaries Of Access Control". They had a news release the other day but I guess it didn't impress too many people.
Copy That. Hope the new saleslady can contribute.
New Sales Person. Hope she can help create a turn around. In desperation mode now. Wish Her/Us lots of luck! Need to sell lots more product.
No one has mentioned the $300,000 refinancing and dilution of stock. This just keeps going on forever. Doesn't matter if they get awards if they keep having to borrow money. It has been years now waiting for some bottoming and solvency and traction. Just hoping they can start selling a lot of widgets very soon. It has been like a broken record. Even Raefeld got out so that might not be good.
Oh wow, no posts yet. 10q came out and they lost $370,000 last quarter. I guess it can only get better from here? Hope so. It seems with all the recent international security issues that they might get noticed? Can't be certain or really hopefull as have been waiting forever and nothing happens. No one know about them.
Yes, it surprised me that they promoted their main salesperson of all people to CEO as not very many of their widgets have been sold.
Wow, no volume or interest even after the tourist attack in France. VSYS really is a unknown company.
I am thinking it is a intentional "blank" to reflect the current state of affairs. Quite clever.
Nice, but don't think it means much. Stuck in a up down up down doldrum with pretty low volume. Need a few up days in a row with a million shares average traded, but probably clutching for straws for that to happen. Maybe some day? Still waiting. No new news.
No volume today. How can that be? What does that mean?
Mesh and Enterphone are flat and have been for some time. I guess Freedom is the only way to get back from the brink.
Looks like the start of a merrygoround. They should have got rid of Raefeld all together. Not sure why they are hanging on to him in a reduced roll. Usually when a CEO gets canned the stock price goes down, but it went up today! Maybe a good sign. And then they promote the sales guy and sales have been pitiful. Just shaking my head.
Wow. Not much activity lately. looks like things have stabilized at about .02 cents. I guess that is all it is worth now and people are pretty fed up and tired of posting repetitive negative posts. I was ready to jump out of the 40th floor but there are no skyscrapers where I live so am still alive. Good luck to all.
No takers on the Sun Health news release yet. I guess they are trying to prop up the stock price/interest level for perhaps more financing as some one else suggested as they are broke. A buyer would be nice as Stash often suggests but not good right now at such a low stock price.
I am neutral also on this, It seems a bit of a rehash of what they said they were going to do last year. It is nice to get, but it is protracted over two years and they lost $4,000,000 last year. They would have to get several more of these type of contracts just to get out of the hole and their salespeople haven't exactly been tearing it up.
It seems to me that despite all the hoopla about the products and patents they have there is a disconnect. I hope I am miraculously proven wrong but their product hasn't caught on and doesn't appear user friendly enough and caught on with the masses. If their products were utilitarian they would sell themselves and would have taken off by now. It is a dark slide we are now in and in need of something dramatic to bring it back. Unfortunately, I put a large amount of my meager life savings in the stock and am fearing the worst. Have owned it "since the beginning" in 2003.
Yes, with a loss of over $4,000,000 it will take a helluva lot of new sales to get out of that hole.
Newbie, you are now almost as bad as Stash, but not quite! LOL
Nice visual there Newbie. As long as it rises I guess it doesn't matter where it comes from. LOL
All quiet on the Burnabay Front. Aren't fourth quarter earnings supposed to come out?
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think fourth quarter earnings for 2014 would come out in mid February. So that is like late this week or early next. News and volume has been scant lately so that may change soon. Hate those zero volume days. I don't even mind days where the price goes down as long as there is some volume. At least when there is volume then VSYS is a player.
Thankyou Newbie
Nobody?
Just wondering how this works. Mr Arens purchases 2,900,000 (roughly) at .08 cents, yet it has only been trading at an average of about 50,000 shares a day. So how does he get his shares? Does he just get them piecemeal over a long time and what does that do to the near term share price? Just curious, I am not a stock guru.
Yes, having a couple of thirty year olds that have something to prove for sales might be a good idea.
I thought the most interesting item by far on the last report was the 30% return rate on product. I guess I was naïve and assumed they were already putting out an excellent product considering it is security. Good to here they are shoring up quality control. Maybe this is why there isn't much interest in the stock as word of mouth does travel. This would seem a high priority to continue working on to gain confidence in the product.
I guess they will have to earn respect and investor interest the old fashion way with increased sales numbers and some sort of profitability. Only time will tell when that might be.
New sales people. The new sales people were hired several months ago and it has been said that it takes several months to procure some sales so anytime soon would be good. Hope the next announcement is something significant monetarily instead of the same status quo. Might as well wait until something really significant is in the works.
Always figured the folks in the know at all there conferences that they show at would pickup on VSYS and start investing. People just want to make money and even if they are not affiliated with VSYS they would pony up some dollars, This has not been the case as the volume has been inconsistent and anemic. That worries me going forward. Folks in the know should drive up interest. Should be averaging a million shares a day a these levels if VSYS were really relevant.
Was wondering how practical their products are for the masses. Has anyone here seen and used their products. It has to be user friendly to catch on and produce some investor interest. Perhaps it is not user friendly enough to gain traction. Just speculating.
How many more years?? Title of a Rory Gallagher (Taste) boogie blues song I like hearing on youtube. Thought it was appropriate and relevant to VSYS.
I guess it was a hangover day.
Thought there might be more chatter here over another board member, I guess I would like less chatter now (no news is good news) and just try to get some big contracts. Would like to see 1,000,000 shares a day as an average. At this volume then VSYS would be relevant and a player. 100,000 shares a day is peanuts.
Yes Newbie, the promise/prediction of 8 million sales for the year seems a bit of a stretch right now. Of course hopefully they can attain that with some very dramatic contracts in the second half of the year. If the new CEO can accomplish that then that would seem like a successful 2014.
Hey Stash, where is this report? I can't find it anywhere.
If they actually get 7-8 million in revenues for 2014 there should be plenty of upcoming news. I suspect that the stock price will be stuck for awhile with the dilution. More patience. Raefield did say 2 to 3 years in his powerpoint presentation.
