Dr.B buying more is a positive.
Squeaky Sprocket lives!!!
The BK accusation is brilliant.
Throw shit on a wall and see if it sticks.
Maybe why most cases are brought against inside sellers instead of buyers? Easier to prove you knew it was gonna 0 out so you dumped your holdings vs. you bought more shares and it went up?
How to prove you know its going up, especially when you have a history of buying, and bought on the belief of good things to come is a bit fuzzier than dumping all shares prior to a crash...
Squeaky Sprocket's legitimacy is now in question!!! Is the source providing any relevant information? Or only providing insider information for select people to trade.
Hey at least Tox is on the way...let's hope for excellent results.
Been a long wait Weedie--- glad you're here cheering things along.
Kinda feel bad for anybody who sold near $3 yesterday based on the 10-k.
Now another waiting period. Still news in the pipeline though.
Glad to see the Tox announcement!!!
Guess you were up a little early this morning.
One hurdle down
Squeaky Sprocket
Similar to yesterday. Down all day till late afternoon....maybe someone trying to make it look not quite so bad???
Tox Monday Drs.? You gotta do something soon. Ebola may be newsworthy but not making much impact here.
Let's Raise a glass to Rawnoc too. He's really helped the post count cause since his arrival in late-Feb.
Sure thing.
Made the same claim and statement. If that information were so valuable it'd be out of the bag. A lot could be made with pertinent information.
SEC just paid out $30 million to an anonymous whistleblower.
Only thing that will stop the drop today is the closing bell.
Tomorrow might see a brief selling respite pending the possibility of a Tox announcement Monday. But when Monday rolls around, if there's no announcement who knows where the bleeding will stop.
RSI pretty low at this point, but I think the only thing that will break current trend is news about TOX.
Getting ugly in here...maybe we can get another PR about a meeting, or a conference, or thinking about doing something sometime...that ought stop the hemmoraging.
This sled is currently on a downhill slide...picking up speed or near the bottom of the ride? Who knows.
Where's the Tox? Ebolacide is not gonna put the brakes on this. I think this is a combination of factors but Tox, or lack thereof is still the biggest factor.
This is what happens when you don't do TOX.
No PT article to blame this time on what appears to be a trip towards $3 and below.
Institutional selling triggered by Share price? If not I wonder what level triggers that???
Time for the TOX Docs.
Why do you assume he would have continued to sell, when he actually did not.
I remember those days and assume he sold the number of shares necessary at that time.
LVus posted his reply this morning.
AV,
I agree with that to a point. The main problem that I think lack of Tox displays is the ability to produce sufficient quantities of any nanoviricide.
If the company cannot produce enough of the drug to go through Tox testing, can they actually produce enough to treat an outbreak such as Ebola?
I don't think so. They may be able to make enough to treat 5-10 people but producing a significant quantity of the substance seems to be an issue.
Tox on Flucide will put that question to rest for a time. That's why I am so bummed out about not seeing it. How many months behind are they? Its one thing to get it right, but right now it looks like a the problem is actually getting it done.
Where's L Bus with cliff's from yesterday's lunch?
I thought the vaccination response was well put too.
Probably would rise above 5 with Tox briefly but then drift down overtime.
However actually commencing Tox would be a significant step. Won't hold my breath. A year ago they did the dose ranging 'Tox' study after much hand wringing here...can't believe a year has passed and we're still waiting, somewhat patiently.
Time to get real with a timeline. Management is leaving the opportunity to criticize/write a bear case wide open.
L Vus,
Any luck with the questions? Or with the escort out of the lunch?
Hopefully you got actual answers instead of just dodging the question with, "Soon".
My questions are on the same page as what I presume JG asked regarding:
Flucide- quantity on hand?
Quantity required?
Per week production capacity?
What happened with PHE and MERS?
Will be tuning into Fox News tonight...figured something was up with the rise today, must have been associated with the PR.
Where was the Squeaky Sprocket leak on that announcement?
You'd think that would be right in Squeaky Sprocket's wheelhouse.
Nano,
Are you serious?
Another luncheon, presentation, or news letter may provide a brief bump but the Market remains unimpressed with these of late.
I think the only thing that will move the needle and be sustained relates to meaningful results. Another slideshow is not meaningful.
In other news those form 4s filed last week added more shares to the Diwan's pot, whether that is good or bad depends on your perspective I guess.
I agree and don't really understand why.
One of the CEO's roles is to manage shareholder's expectations. By going radio silent on this issue Doc S has missed an opportunity to quell the doubts of shareholders. There have clearly been issues with scale-up because otherwise I believe TOX would've been started by now.
Ebola is a serious issue for the world at large. However ability to manufacture viricides in the quantities necessary to perform Tox is the NNVC issue at large...if the company cannot produce enough of the cides for regulatory studies why should I believe they can produce sufficient quantities of the cides to treat a burgeoning Ebola epidemic?
They can't do an end-run around Tox, and the Mers hype is reminiscent of Ebola, or is that backwards?
What happened to MERs and PHE again? Oh don't know cause there's been radio silence from Management.
Another relevant question is, will there be an investors call with the release of the 10-k?
L Vus feel free to include any of these questions, although you may want to adjust the tone.
In case it's not clear, where the hell are the Tox studies???
Nano,
I highly doubt Mr.Pres mentions any one company by name.
However, if he were to give NNVC $100 million then I doubt the stock would go down.
I don't think I'm often on the same tack as JG, but those three questions are most relevant for me at this time.
How much is needed?
How much is on hand?
What is per week production metric?
All relevant and answerable questions. Bloviating or beating around the bush will be a prescient sign.
Doubt Mr.President even knows what a viricide is, much less mention one in a speech.
I think that is way beyond exuberant. Results are what matters here, not more press releases, conferences or near impossible name drops by the President.
With the Ebola hoopla, and the update on new facility for required production, I doubt September 30.
I hope and think by December 31.
Sure thing.
Definitely no free pass. I'd like to see an actual timeline from Management. I think they know the quantity of flucide on hand, the quantity required and their production capacity which makes the initiation of Tox studies a reasonably estimable date. When they put that date out, with a 60-90 day qualifier, then I think the start will be in the 60-90 day grace period.
I think Tox is initiated this year and completed with results released late spring to early summer, 2015. Then we'll see what happens.
Can Squeaky Sprocket comment on:
10-k filing or extension filing?
PHE status?
If I recall correctly, Squeaky Sprocket named a bicycle that was four years out of date. Which may be a little relevant but brings into question a the timeliness of Squeaky Sprocket's information.
Can Squeaky Sprocket comment on an extension or filing of the 10-k today?
Can Squeaky Sprocket comment on the sale of the building byInnohaven to NNVC?
Can Squeaky Sprocket comment on PHE?
Inquiring minds want to know....
Has Squeaky Sprocket commented on whether NNVC will file an extension today or the actual 10k?
I suspect an extension. However I expect news soon after the 10-k is filed.
I didn't realize Squeaky Sprocket had rightly called so many predictions. Even Seymour's annual Hawaii trip, almost like he goes on a yearly basis.
I totally missed the Mers/Tox delay leak by Squeaky Sprocket. I didn't realize that was after Bicyclegate.
I completely missed Squeaky Sprockets commentary on the NIH.
At least Squeaky Sprocket has confirmed that Tox will start this year. That is relevant information. By conceding it will not be complete this year the insinuation is that it will be initiated. That is the most relevant information I have seen from Squeaky Sprocket. I'd like to see that in a press release from Management, or at least a realistic Tox timeline.
Is this bicyclegate source?
That information would be sad if true but the squeaky sprocket source provided out of date information.
Always love the positivity Weedie!!!
Weedie- I hope it's that Doc S. will announce the commencement of Tox testing. That is an important milestone to me because it is evidence things are moving forward.
If they are not going to announce it soon I think they should announce a deadline of when they'll be able to. If they know the quantity required, the quantity on hand, and their production capacity then a date is reasonably estimable.
The big question lying at management's hands is when will it start.
Their past timelines have been completely blown. Their ability to execute can be judged upon whether they get this completed.
All the talk of Ebola is exciting but if they cannot create sufficient quantities of the substance to perform toxicity testing in their lead candidate, how in the heck could they create enough to treat an epidemic outbreak of of a disease like Ebola???
I mean, I thought, what was so exciting about the facility is that it is one of a kind...so for right now even if they could formulate an effective Ebolacide how could it be produced. Unless I've misunderstood the facility owned by innohaven is the only lab that can produce the quantity necessary for human testing.
Sorry for the rant, but Ebolacide seems like an attention grab. I see limited potential for an actual effective treatment out of NNVC for this outbreak based upon their inability to perform Tox testing and the apparent scale up difficulties that have hindered Tox testing.
Get the Tox done. That is the most critical next step in my eyes and all the rest is just window dressing.
NanoP- no disagreement on going for the gold. I just think we get it sooner with flucide than with ebolacide. At this point production quantity is an issue unless I've missed something about the new lab being certified.
It does seem to fit a pattern that has been on display. The only way to break the pattern of delay and perception of the same is to initiate the Tox studies.
Ebolacide may or may not prove fruitful. I think the next step towards testing this platform in Humans is the Tox testing, not development of merscide, ebolacide etc. I'd like to see progress on the flu front. The ebolacide will likely be a flash in the pan, IMHO, because I think the outbreak will be contained within 6-8 weeks.
Does that include Bicyclegate from earlier in the summer when the source provided information far out of date?
Is that same source providing information now?
