Right on Moe.
It is one of two things.
And we will see...Hopefully in a rather timely manner...
As to what's going on
politically & militarily in the Middle East, for good current information, see Behold Israel on you tube, instagram, FB, telegram, or Behold Israel dot org.
Yesterday's ME update, on you tube, on this very topic, has been taken down.
Bibi in Saudi today to meet with MBS. Purportedly to discuss the rather robust current aggression against Saudi and their oil fields, by you know who.
Merry Christmas BahamaPete!
And Merry Christmas to all, and to all of yours.
Thanks Tothe.
That's an interesting post!
Thanks Tothe.
Holding.
Got back in pretty much on the low end.
Fun to watch!
We'll see how high it goes today. Then,
With spudding a few weeks out we should see an increasing trend.
Interesting Speculation Indeed.
New elections coming too, from what I read.
It's all very interesting.
Rather amazing.
It appears to be happening multi-levels, IMHO, like the three level chess game picture appears.
After having acquired their own rig and crew...
Left that one out.
Pretty impressive.
1400 - 15,124,105 shares traded.
This is pure speculation on a debt free entity, planning to re-enter an existing prior drill point, after acquiring 3D seismic, looking for oil/gas in Israel...
Nothing more than that...lol...!
I've seen this stock get rowed before, primarily on a daily format.
When there's strong upward movement with no news, profit taking usually seems to follow.
Looking for news.
1,960,013 shares sold by 09:57.
2,016,711 shares traded by 10:01.
Pretty impressive!
More than a million shares before 10:00 AM?
Bery, bery interesting...
1600?
Amen to all that, Moses!
Thanks for the reminders!
That's impressive.
Anyone have any news regarding today's 10 cent bump?
Wonder what 4 o'clock will bring...
Just as we see going on all around us in the media.
Impressive.
Great posts Proph.
Thanks for keeping us informed.
Rather humorous too.
Maybe wearing a mask slows them down...?
Probably excited about the new mask commandment though...hee hee hee...
Likewise on the posting.
Good read.
Thank you.
Nice!
Moses,
What about this NASDAQ extension, and new rig lease finalized?
Just stopping by; I must have missed it.
Thank You.

Environmentalists’ Worst Nightmare? Global Oil Discoveries Spike, Says Report
https://creativedestructionmedia.com/news/business/2020/01/10/environmentalists-worst-nightmare-global-oil-discoveries-spike-says-report/
I don't like their name, but they do some good reporting, on a variety of topics. Like the one above.
Well said Mr. W.
InFocus - Regarding ISRAEL, U.S. ISSUE $40M. CALL FOR ENERGY COLLABORATIONS
https://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Israel-US-issue-40m-call-for-energy-collaborations-588957
This is huge, for many reasons.
2.5 Miles
see below -
https://www.rigzone.com/news/oil_gas/a/63621/zion_completes_seismic_zeros_in_on_new_site/
Zion Oil & Gas, Inc. has announced that the company’s geological team recently completed the processing of seven seismic lines (totaling over fifty two kilometers) acquired last winter and also the reprocessing of an additional ten seismic lines (of over one hundred and ten kilometers) in two prospective areas.
The interpretation of the seismic data, coupled with geologic, gravity and magnetic data has resulted in the development of the first drillable prospect on Zion's Asher-Menashe license. A site for the new well, named the Elijah #3, has been selected on a ten thousand acre structure, comprising both Triassic and Permian targets.
The selected well site is approximately 2.5 miles southeast of the abandoned Asher-Atlit #1 well.
The Asher-Atlit #1 was drilled to 6,531 meters (21,428 feet) by Energy Exploration Inc. in the early 1980s. Before Energy Exploration abandoned the Asher-Atlit #1, due to drilling problems, 2,000 feet of a Triassic reef were encountered and hydrocarbon shows were noted...
Once had that info readily available.
I thought Elijah #3 was around a mile in distance from Asher Atlit.
More from that article -
At 9,400 feet the drill bit hit volcanic rock. They drilled down through another 7600 feet before finally coming into limestone again. The drill bit, now at 17,296 feet was way beyond the rig’s capacity. Fearing he would lose the hole, Atlit’s drilling supervisor (a man by the name of John Brown) shut down the operation until a larger rig could be brought in.
December 28, 1982 a new drill rig, rated at 26,000 feet was installed over the original hole. This new phase, dubbed the Atlit #II was planned to bring the well as deep as 23,000 feet. By February of 1983 the well had been cleaned out and depth had been increased to 18,000 feet.
Due to lack of funds, it pretty much went south after that.
Older information here -
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1131312/000113131206000058/prodesv3.htm
This is pre-Elijah #3 drill.
See the map on page 14.
Page 16 gives the distance between Asher Atlit and the Ma'ant #1 well which is on the page 14 map.
Pages 14 thru 20 have info on work going on in 2005, Givot Olam, various geologic data/hypotheses.
Pretty interesting.
I thought Elijah #3 should be drilled to 22,000 ft [6705 meters].
There was oil in them there Asher Atlit 2 well depths.
Loss of the leased Turkish rig [whose family owned company was in bankruptcy] stopped that.
5000 to 7000 meters deep
Atlit #1 - the Asher Project -
Early 1983
"Drilling continued without incident until, at 20,570 feet Atlit II struck oil! What oil experts call “very good shows” came to the surface; graded as light oil at 35 to 40 degrees API. SoRelle continued to a final depth of 21,431 feet. The zone of oil bearing rock, was estimated at 470 feet, from 20,570 to 21,309 feet."
6,270 to 6,495 meters was a (470 foot zone of oil bearing rock)
The ZN Elijah #3 well was about one mile SE from the Asher Atlit #1 well.
See the map on the IHub page above 'Map of four previous ZN'
and note the Elijah #3 proximity to Asher Atlit #1. [Upper left south of Haifa]
While this area is very different to the current MJ #1 location, drill depth data appears to support DEEPER.
This is my one post of the day.
Enjoy it.
Map Features too vague.
For me to find it.
Enough time has elapsed since the start of this effort that you should be able to see the rig.
These maps are usually 12 - 24 months prior aren't they?
Pipeline Issues Delay Israel Gas to Egypt for Months | Rigzone
Monday, March 18, 2019
...The gas deal adds an economic dimension to a relationship dominated by security since the two countries signed a peace treaty that changed the face of the Middle East four decades ago. It also advances Egypt’s plan to capitalize on its own giant Zohr gas field and position itself as an energy re-export hub on the doorstep of gas-hungry Europe.
Egypt will initially import gas from Israel’s Tamar field and receive flows from nearby Leviathan once it comes online at the end of the year.
Although the overall condition of the pipeline is good, Israel’s Delek Drilling LP, U.S.-based Noble Energy Inc. and Egyptian East Gas Co. found some components were missing or faulty, while modifications and repairs would take longer than foreseen, the people added, declining to be named as the information was not public. Spare parts had to be imported, they said.
A spokeswoman for the companies developing the Israeli reservoirs declined to comment. Officials from East Gas did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Delek Drilling LP, which holds a 45.3 percent stake in Leviathan, fell as much as 1 percent in Tel Aviv trading.
The companies are working to reverse the flow of the pipeline, which used to carry Egyptian gas to Israel. It’s been idle for years after Egypt halted exports in 2012 due to a domestic energy shortage and repeated attacks by Islamic militants on the overland connection that runs through restive northern Sinai...
https://www.rigzone.com/news/wire/pipeline_issues_delay_israel_gas_to_egypt_for_months-18-mar-2019-158399-article/
That's interesting.
..."Such a project would allow the Leviathan partners to export to countries not reachable with pipelines and avoid the need to build expensive infrastructure to connect to LNG facilities in Egypt."...
..."Despite considerable gas discoveries in the Eastern Mediterranean region over the past decade, viable export routes have proven tough to find and global energy firms haven’t rushed in. The Leviathan partners have signed deals to meet surging demand in Egypt, Jordan and Israel, but haven’t yet found a way to export to Europe or East Asia.
Shares Rise
The partners developing Leviathan, a deep-sea find of about 600 billion cubic meters -- at the time it was found, the biggest underwater gas discovery in a decade -- have bookmarked the next phase of the reservoir’s development for export deals and are examining ways to reach markets outside the region. Delek Drilling LP, the biggest shareholder in the Leviathan field, is looking into several options, such as buying a stake in one of Egypt’s LNG sites.
..."The talks with Exxon are the latest sign that an unofficial energy boycott on Israel, imposed by leading Arab countries, is fading. Energy majors that partner with big Arab firms have hesitated to do business with Israel in the past, for fear of risking ties with states that control some of the world’s biggest energy reserves and have been hostile toward Israel until now.
Those concerns seem to be dissipating. Israel and Persian Gulf states have found common cause against Iran, leading some Arab leaders, such as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, to break longstanding diplomatic taboos on Israel. Covert trade with the Arab world, mainly involving Israel’s technology sector, also has grown."...
..."For Exxon, expanding into Israel would reflect the company’s growing ambitions in the East Med, an area that straddles Egyptian, Israeli, Lebanese and Cypriot waters. Exxon established a foothold in the region in February, when it found an offshore reservoir in Cypriot waters that’s about one-third the size of Leviathan.
Exxon recently spoke with Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz about participating in an upcoming tender for new offshore drilling blocs, according to people familiar with the matter."
The Last Piece.
I follow that thinking...
I assume ZN still
has the DAFORA rig in place.
They took a big hit when Chevron walked away.
If so, they appear to be helping each other.
You know the context and meaning.
Givot Olam Meged Oil Field
Israeli oil explorer recruits mysterious investor group to revive its fortunes - Business - Haaretz.com
Feb 05, 2019 8:18 PM
https://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/business/israeli-oil-explorer-recruits-mysterious-investor-group-to-revive-its-fortunes-1.6912052
The group includes a U.S. oil executive, a retired Israeli general and unnamed backers, but it’s not clear if the oil commissioner will okay it as a drill operator
Its oil-exploration business long left for dead, Givot Olam suddenly came back to life two weeks ago when it announced it was getting a $50 million cash infusion by a mysterious investor group called Alberta-Texas Energy Ventures.
Alberta-Texas retained the Israeli public relations man Rani Rahav, but a statement released by his firm was short on details. It described the group as including “Jewish families that work for Israel’s stability and inclusive regional development.” It also said the group has been in the global oil and gas sector and invested in Israeli startups but never in Israeli energy.
Givot Olam, whose shareholders Monday backed the investment plan that will give Alberta-Texas a 40% stake in the company, declined to name any of its backers.
But a source told TheMarker that the key figure is a former Israeli named Ben Shani, who also works as president of Houston-based Agar Corporation, a maker of equipment used in oil-well testing and production.
His No. 2 is Benny Mehr, a retired brigadier general who left the Israel Defense Forces four years ago as Northern Command chief. He has since helped manage and invest in security companies as founder and head of Beemehr Consulting & Management.
Mehr reportedly led the negotiations with Givot Olam and is in charge of Alberta-Texas’ Israel operations.
A source close to the group who asked not to be named said Alberta-Texas was incorporated in Canada only a few months ago and had no operations yet. However, its team includes people with decades of experience.
“The company has a website with names of people, but Shani doesn’t appear there,” the source said. “Shani undertook a major obligation of $50 million, but it’s not clear he has the business acumen and if [Israel’s] oil commissioner will approve Alberta-Texas as a drill operator. There are still a lot of questions surrounding the deal – a lot that isn’t understood.”
Regarding the other parties to Alberta-Texas, another source described them as “private individuals, Jewish families, but not only. There are also funds that invest in the sector. We’re talking about well-known families in the Houston oil business. This is very serious money.”
One source speculated that the Alberta-Texas backers declined to be named because they are still raising capital. “Right now there is $50 million on hand, but it will require another $100 million to develop the Meged field in later stages. That money hasn’t been raised,” the source said.
$50 Million is $50 Million
And if they can get approval another $100 Million after that.
I would want to see you uninformed.

Shapir seeks slice of Givot Olam revival - Globes
https://en.globes.co.il/en/article-shapir-seeks-slice-of-givot-olam-revival-1001258894
Shapir Engineering and Industry has signed an option agreement to join Alberta Green Ventures with a $50 million investment.
Infrastructure and construction company Shapir Engineering and Industry (TASE: SPEN) is changing its position in the Givot Olam partnership's oil and gas exploration. Givot Olam holds drilling licenses for the Meged oil field next to Rosh HaAyin. Just over a year after entering the partnership that manages Givot Olam's oil and gas exploration activity, Shapir Engineering is changing its strategy. Instead of investing in management of the activity through the general partner of Givot Olam, it now wants to join a Canadian company in investing in the operation of the partnership's Meged drilling following a long period of stagnation in drilling activity in the oil field, a development that will bring new life to it.
I can't find any recent Delek onshore Israel news, But I've been told that news is out.
