trying to add more...
AUTO, IPVO, GBLL charts...
AUTO and IPVO breakout patterns...
GBLL spread is a little wide, but could see .04-.05 for
a nice percentage gain...
GBLL, IPVO, AUTO - tomorrow's plays...
EVOL - what's your target for this?
BIOM - Good going Dave.
See if there's any 10-baggers for me -LOL
Gotta get that freetrade
Dave,
Sold IACH and 1/2 of MOBL
Left some on the table with IACH, but c'est la vie...
Now for some real work - gotta patch the basement wall...
How's it going with you?
Out IACH, 1/2 out MOBL - Thanks board
Good luck to IACH and MOBL holders - looking great!!!
LaFemme - IACH pullback...
No one knows the answer to that one...well maybe omni.
The way I look at it is just flip the chart in your mind and pretend it just DROPPED .14 cents today. I for one would be biting my nails thinking, "I KNOW it's gonna follow through on the open and sell off...".
Funny how we have the opposite fear when it's going our way. LOL
I may be a pie-in-the-sky optimist, but I think we'll see a good day tomorrow. At worst, it's not going to collapse.
Good luck to all IACH holders!!!!!!!!
Dave - in IACH @ .20
Placed overnight order and just found out.
MOBL holding...
in IACH @ .20
Dave - like ADVK too.
This is one to buy and hold till you get some freeshares.
Wish I could buy them all.
SWYC looks good too, but would have to hit 1.60 for a double.
Maybe I'm gettin' greedy... hehe
SWYC did have 400+ trades on friday, and probably will hit
a buck or so.
Just tell me which one's going up - LOL
IACH
SWYC
ADVK
IACH - on watch
last: .20 bid: .17 x ask .205
Could see a double to .40-.50 short term, and maybe
1.00 or so longer term.
If history repeats itself we could see the same rise as in Feb-Mar of 2003.
This time around it has much-greater, relative volume.
IACH - Daily Comparison- 2 years (50/200 dma)
IACH - WEEKLY - 1 year (50/200 dma)
IACH - Daily - 1 year (50/200 dma)

Told ya you're workin' to hard.
Not enough sleep & long hours will do it to ya.
Gatta go out for a couple hours.
Do some picks when I get back.
Take a nap....
That sounds about right - lol
Here's an informative MM-manipulation article...
The article, like the good 'ol trendline, is a bit dated, but both still hold water.

Fukingrvn - "..dog eat dog?" The only hound-dawg you gotta careful around is that dd_fridd_007 - he eats up everybody's profits (and anything else that's lyin' on the table)! LOL
Mornin' Dave - not much happening in my world.
Gonna spend some time this weekend with SF and coming up
with some Monday picks. I'll talk to you (superpicks)
I know you didn't get that .0521 in MOBL, wanna buy mine?
Hey Dave - leave some profits for the rest of us!
Fukingrvn - you're welcome.
Technical Analysis can be overwhelming when you first start out. I know the feeling. Been doing T/A for 20 years or so, and still can't claim to be a know-it-all. But I do feel if anyone learns just a little, their odds of success far surpass those of just buying lottery tickets!
T/A is not rocket science, and you don't have to know every little thing. Does your family doctor know brain surgery? Probably not. He only learns what he needs to know to in order to charge us a lot of money. LOL
Too much knowledge can confuse things. Look at it in the simplest sense. T/A is primarily a bunch of tools which traders use to analyze price and volume data in hopes of predicting future price movement. That's it!
None of the tools are infallible, though they do have a great track record. Along with these tools, technical analysts rely heavily on pattern recognition. I bet you can spot a trending stock pattern as well as the next guy - so your're 50% there already. Now you just have to answer the questions: when do I get in, where do I get in, when & where do I get out, where is it going, etc.. That's where the tools (moving averages, trendlines, indicators, support, resistance, etc.) come into play.
The Ihub web site is like a candy store of T/A links.
Browse around and taste a few. You'll begin to get a feel for things.
For starters try reading up on just a few indicators such as, MACD, Stochastics, OBV, DMI. Go to a few web sites that explain trendlines, support/resistance areas, candlesticks, and chart patterns. Most of the traders I know don't use much more than that. You'll find yourself starting to recognize patterns and buy points in no time.
What you need to know for success is right at your fingertips. Anyone can learn it. If you need any help, just shout.
Bill
Funk - good question...
You made me take another look at this stock.
The first positive you may notice is the volume.
Big volume means, among other things, an area of buying and selling interest. These areas tend to form good support (or resistance) areas on retracements, and increase the volitility, leading to wider price swings.
Another positive aspect is the relationship of the 50dma to the 200dma. The 50dma crossed above the 200dma in Oct and has now come back to within a few pennies of it - on increasing volume. This shows that longer-term momentum is building.
Another positive is that the price has popped back above the 200dma - very bullish. This also indicates that this price area is attracting buyers, and that short-term momentum is increasing.
Another positive is the short-term moving averages. The price is now trading above both the 5dma and 10dma. This shows near-term momentum is to the upside. There is definite support in the .025-.027 area.
On the iffy side of things...
Today's prices have held above the 50% retracement of Wednesday's pop, and the 5/10dmas. Though this is encouraging, this area has to hold.
Also, for this stock to continue its upward move, it needs to break .04 cent resistance. (this is derived from a downward-sloping trendline drawn across the Dec and Jan peaks)
I expect it to retest .04 next week, and then hopefully consolidate in that area for a few days before moving up. This should, but not necessarily, be accompanied by a volume increase.
Hope I answered your question. There are a few other things, like indicator readings, the weekly chart, DD, board interest, etc, that I haven't mentioned, but hopefully this was enough to answer your question.
Good tradin'....
Bill
Dave, hangin' on to UVSL
I'll wait for a few days till selling
is done, then make a descision to buy more or not.
Good luck tomorrow...
Dave - UVCL whadda ya think - get some more?
Chart still looks real good...
UVCL Last: .026 High: .039 Low: .025
LOL!
BC - Appreciate the heads-up on NNUP. I never got in because it never broke out. I'm hearing a lot more bearishness around this board. Hopefully, we get a quick selloff, then back on track again...
Thanks again
VACATION - O'Neill's got nothin' on you, Dave!
Well said - I like it!
The analogy is perfect; especially the part about not looking around the floor to see what everyone else is doing.
And, of course, the MMs (croupiers) are there to pay out!
(couldn't help myself)
Did ya have a good birthday party?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE !!!!!!
Keep that Fry-Baby crankin' and you'll live to be
a greasy, ol' 250 years - LOL
Sorta' like a southern Atkins diet!
All the best, buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Question for Level II users...
Was watching RMBS (nasdaq) on L-II today - fast trading issue.
Now my eyesight is 20/20, but I'll be danged if I could even catch the name of the MM, much less the price, before everything changed a split-second later. Nothing is readable!
My question is how useful is this when trading in or out of a position, other than providing the best B/A prices or identifying possible 'walls' at different levels?
Even these 'walls', or levels, change back and forth so fast - I can't make heads or tails of them.
Do I need glasses?
Seems we're spoiled with OTCBB L-II quotes. They seem to be operating in freeze-frame mode by comparison.
TIA
Thanks Chip...
Chipped - who was dumping XDSL?
Not a lot of downside volume. I was afraid the 'iffy' news might be drive it lower. Technically it's at the 10dma and also at a solid support area.
How long do you think before it see.70 again?
TIA
Personally, I'm more interested in both the O/S and the float. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to find that info, especially on pinkies...
Stockgrl - O/S and Float...
OUTSTANDING SHARES:
The number of shares that are currently owned by investors.
This includes restricted shares (shares owned by the company's
officers and insiders) and shares held by the public.
Shares that the company has repurchased are not considered
outstanding stock.
FLOAT:
The total number of shares publicly owned and available for trading.
The float is calculated by subtracting restricted shares from
outstanding shares.
For example: a company may have 10 million outstanding shares, but
only 7 million are trading on the stock market. So, the float would
be 7 million.
Stocks with small floats, under 3 million shares, tend to be a
lot more volatile than others.
Also known as "free float."
Hey Dave, leave some stocks for the rest of us!
Man, you're a wildman at that console.
Hope you're makin' some green.
Only in XDSL and MRXT - both laughin' at me, hmmmmm....
Gotta go out for a while, be back 2-3
Good luck

DJ MPhase Tech/Earnings-3:May Cut Costs If Funds Unavailable
MPhase Technologies, which develops broadband communications
products, said it will need to raise an additional $2 million during the next
12 months for operating expenses.
If the company is unable to raise the funds through planned private
placements, the company will need to curtail certain expenses, including
marketing and research and development expenses, according to the quarterly
filing.
MPhase Technologies said it believes the $2 million will be
sufficient to cover its current operating expenses and permit the company to
maintain its present operational levels.
The financing may be supplemented with additional funds the company
may receive from investors, currently holding warrants to purchase up to a
total of about 19.8 million shares of common stock at exercise prices of
about 30 cents per share, the filing said. The warrants can be exercised
during the next 12 months.
As of Dec. 31, 2003, the company had about $319,923 in cash, cash
equivalents and about $182,136 of trade receivables to fund short-term
working capital requirements.
