so does it make sense to buy NGA now ? or LEV after the spac merger ?
Rrmine.com webpage has a calculator as you scroll down a bit.. A single contract is $437 currently. I also bought 6 month contracts. Looks promising. The app has lot more info as well if you download it. Takes a bit to get used to but overall is pretty good.
yep.. it took about a day and a half to get through but did finally hear back. feeling more confident about purchasing some rental contracts, let's see how it goes.
Hi MJ, got verified y'day as well. heard from support yesterday that they are releasing a USD money transfer option early next week, am waiting for that instead of wiring..
Never mind, see it in the app.. Thx
Anyone know how to contact there customer service ?
Ah, I see. Thanks!
Hi mjfrank,
Are you using the app to setup wire transfer ? Where is the verification done, asking since it's not clear when that is done in the account signup process ?
Thanks
noretreat and other gurus, any insight on what the support/bounce areas are for this move ?
Despite the 10k disclaimer statements, the potential for a near term big move up upon beginning tox is intriguing. recent moves do point to something about the tox begin brewing in the short term..
I bought on your recommendation at 0.075 during the one day runup early last month. have a good one.
Hi, am new on this board, so pls pardon my ignorance. Where is the new pick from olico posted ? i looked in the ibox and don't see it there ?
Thanks.

How to find sector ETFs
After reading all the excellent advice on this forum and some serious soul searching for the past few days I have come to the conclusion that a good place to start for me with AIM is sector ETF's.
However, now i don't know how to search for them :). Ideally, i would like to come up with a list of about 20-30 and run them through Mark's volatility tool, the aim-historical-performance tool, etc, to develop some more confidence before i start the real thing..
What tools are you using to find a listing of the various sector ETFs ?
Can someone pls point me in the right direction ?
Thanks,
Satbir
Hmm.. Boy, that's some very illuminating views and advice - I am really glad to be here :)
I can now see the whole picture slowly coming together in my mind - valueline investing which leads to Tom's pic list, Mark's valuestockselector, the various aim calculators and so much more - this place is awesome !
and must say, all your valuable advice, views and pointers are hugely appreciated.
Thanks,
Satbir
Hello,
I have a really basic question, which i feel sort of silly asking btu since i am new :), hope i'm excused.
I was trying to explain the AIM methodology to a friend of mine and i showed him the aim buy-sell examples given at Tom's website - http://www.aim-users.com/aimbrief.htm
The first question he asked me, which sort of left me stumped was - AIM is asking you to buy when the stock is going down. This is exactly what leads to you loosing all the money when the stock is coming down from a high (like what happened in the market bust in 2000) - so why would you want to not get out of the position and take you profits or cut your losses, as the situation may be, instead of buying more ??
- Is AIM assuming that we are dealing with good quality stocks which never tank ?
- Does it have a mechanism to sense that a stock is really tanking and it's time to get out while you can ?
Can you help me understand this ? I have read the book although it was a couple of months ago and can't seem to come up with a logical answer..
Thanks,
Satbir
Hi Tom,
I was wondering - Where is the current PIC List kept ? I am not sure, since this seems a couple of years old - http://www.aim-users.com/pic.htm
The 2nd question i have is - Where do you read the timeliness from - the actual "Value Line investment Survey report" ? OR is it the result of your analysis ?
Thanks,
Satbir
Excellent, I understand now. Thanks - Mark and Aimster, for the detailed explanation and the warm welcome. Now, just waiting for the tax refund to get this going :).
Cheers,
Satbir
Hi,
I am a newbie in this area and have a basic question about the software which i am seriously considering buying. I come over from Mr. Veale's website so am wondering if this software incorporates the principlea of 'Split SAFE' and 'vealie'?
I also read, with considerable interest, some posts on this newsgroup which spoke about the methodology of managing cash in your portfolio as a seperate entry. Can someone pls expand on that in a little detail pls ? (am still a newbie on this so if you keep it simple :), it'll be greatly appreciated, thx)
Thanks,
Satbir
Hi,
It's pretty good. Maybe you would consider adding another column at the end 'Total portfolio value'..
Thx,
Satbir
Hi,
I have a online account with Ameritrade and noticed that they only pay ~1% on the cash one has with them.
Is there a better place to put the cash in ?
Are any of you using any specific brokerage which pays more on your cash deposits with them ?
Thx,
Satbir
Hi,
I have been recently introduced to the AIM concept and have studied Mr. Lichello's book and this aim-users.com website. i plan to start my aim account with the $10k worth of stock i currently hold. i have a few questions -
- Do most of the people out on this board use some of the available software or do most people use the excel spreadsheet ?
- It didn't seem like the excel sheet incorporated the veale concept. Do the newport/PCA system have this incorporated in them ?
Many Thanks in advance,
Satbir
