Hi Chief-
You have made several posts in the past that are optimistic in nature. Do you have anything of substance to share? Thanks.
Sincere thanks for the correspondence...appreciate it.
Speaking of childish games, how about people who hint about 'great things' in the future and yet they never materialize?
It is indefensible, just like the incompetency of Fuse management.
Yet another excuse/rationalization for over-promising and under-delivering...to date, Brian has failed and none of your predictions have come true.
I really wish it wasn't the case...but unfortunately, the track record clearly indicates otherwise.
The company is now one guy hiding behind a Twitter feed...where is the product strategy? Where is the 'game-changing' technology? Where are the BusDev deals? Where is anything that anyone can point to which gives an objective hope for progress?
And Brian Tuffin cares least. Actions speak loudly and, in his case, there are no words...
And what is that going to do for us? Is there anything positive on the horizon for current shareholders?
Hi Info-
Thanks for your comment yesterday...those of us who invested in the company (and did not trade it) were let down by incompetence. The fact that the management structure can persist is simply not right.
The Walgreen's deal should have been a springboard to greater things, but like everything else, it was not.
Where is the technology that everyone referenced? Where are the 'next generation' products? BT's prolonged silence confirms that the only thing he knew is that there never was a real future, it was a time horizon limited by how long he could dilute the stock...and, to do that, he had to trickle out a procession of vague PR's of diminishing returns...
Had the company legitimately tried to do something and failed, it would be one thing - but the dots connect to the fact that it was sanctioned theft.
Wish it wasn't the case - but there is no other way to look at it.
I like you Twitums, I really do - but the vague inferences hurt your credibility...furthermore, your record of accurate predictions is significantly worse than the grandiose quality of said predictions. In fact, your record is that you have always been wrong. Not one positive thing you have predicted has come true.
Here are the facts.
1.) This is a failed company.
2.) There is no discernible technology that distinguishes its products from other products.
3.) They have no equity in their brands.
4.) They have never done anything impressive beyond wooing TW and DJ.
5.) They have dissembled on each and every PR.
6.) They have never followed through on stated developments (200 Pharmacies, Dick's, 'cracked the code,' MacuDrops, advertising).
I could continue, but there is no point. The case against Fuse Science is a lot stronger than the case for Fuse Science...wish it wasn't the case, but it is. BT has stolen money from people through false promises and unfulfilled PR's...and now he is hiding behind foolish Tweets and false bravado.
It's time for him to be accountable and discuss the past, present and future of Fuse Science. He poses for pix with Big Papi, but he can't communicate with the shareholders who have paid his salary?
Hi Al-
What are the reasons compelling you to buy this stock? I am not being sarcastic, but am curious as to what an outsider sees in this.
Any/all thoughts are appreciated.
The record shows that he did almost nothing with all of them...as in zero. Andre Ward is a total stud and great human being - but zero impact on behalf of Fuse Science. Paul Pierce, Jose Bautista and on and on...great competitors but BT had moved on after the 'meet and greet.'
Tiger actually did more than he does for most of his sponsors and, for that, he should be credited...he went on TV a couple of times and did a Tweet or two - we'll never know if he would have done more because BT has gone silent for over a year...
Big Papi, Michelle Ray, Arian and Zoe are the only others who tried to do things of substance. The rest were pointless exercises. The blame is on him - and no one else. It's one thing to not have a plan, but he obviously did not have a clue and did not know how to ask for help.
As for help, he has DJ's phone number - how about calling the guy who got us our one meaningful deal (Walgreen's) and who is a proven winner. Oh, that's right - he's going to involve DJ after the RS and increase in AS...the past 18 months didn't offer enough opportunities.
I am tempted to go on Shark Tank and pitch Fuse Science and tell DJ that this is a 'do-over' deal...
This shouldn't be about luck but about business sense - something that has been absent from the company for a long time...if you have been paying attention, BT has been silent for a long time.
BT took the money, squandered it - and now he wants to repeat the cycle...that is simply wrong.
Hi Proffet-
I am sure you are a nice guy - but the fact is that B. Tuffin has done a terrible job...absolutely nothing has ever moved the company forward and there has been a complete inability to conceptualize and execute anything successfully, which is why it is now circling the drain. He has been the one constant through all of the bad decisions and misdirections that defines Fuse Science. Most important, he needs to own that.
You give out his email as if it has meaning...it only has meaning if he responds - and he doesn't...I have called/emailed dozens of times - all respectful messages - and it's always 'crickets' in response.
He is in hiding - won't show his face, much less share anything about where the company is going. Lots of good people have lost money because of his ineptness...that is a simple fact. Shame on him and on those who are not calling him out on his poor record.
Please look through my posting history and you will see that I have been around a long time and have been a loyal supporter - unfortunately, that loyalty was punished, and in a dishonest fashion.
Brian has got to go. He has failed. Better luck to him down the road.
Hi Hole-
Welcome to the board...the Macu-drops? Where are they selling? Direct to doctors (B2B), or is there another way to buy them, i.e. B2C?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks, Proffet, for your thoughts - am guessing this came from your meeting? If so, thanks for sharing.
Do you have any sense for the capability of the company to execute on any of this?
A big complaint of mine is the lack of communication and confusion over what it actually going on, long range plans, etc.
Again, thanks for the correspondence...
It's a performance game, esp. when conducted in the public sphere, and the lack of disclosure and the disappearing act over the past several months are dishonorable...
Hi Proffet,
Yesterday you said you were meeting with Brian today...did that occur?
Please advise. Thanks.
That's a dodge...if the company had anything good going on, there would be partnerships, better financing terms, better people out selling the company and its technology, and, most important, someone/anyone would listen to DJ about how to market the products...instead, what the DD shows is that it is simply a vehicle to barely survive on complicated stock/warrant transactions and might one day be sold for peanuts (if anything) in some kind of soft landing that management will spin as a significant buyout...the investors who have stood by the company for 2.5 years have been fleeced. The company signs celebrities just for the Press Release and then they are put out to pasture. Resources have been poorly allocated, i.e. there is no marketing, no communication, no BusDev and now we have a R/S + new dilution...
Check my posting history. I am not a basher, but it is clear that Fuse needs new management. The current crowd has squandered 2.5 years and many millions of dollars. And you obliquely hint at great things and then dcline to answer a simple question about why anyone should be excited and/or interested in Fuse Science's future.
Hi Proffet-
I would like to believe you, but history states otherwise...a lot of false starts, non-starts and consistently poor execution. The company needs new management - someone that understands how to sell in a retail environment. There are no exciting products, no exciting research - just a bunch of empty promises and cashed checks.
Wish it weren't so, but it is...
Twitums-
You did not respond to my last query about why anyone should believe in this company and esp. its leadership...
I am not being a wiseguy - what is a reason, or reasons, to believe that better days are ahead in 2014.
Respectfully,
I think it's going to be a bunch of technical warrant speak...nothing about product development, distribution, etc.
Hard to interpret recent events as anything but a huge failure. I hope I am wrong, but the abysmal track record says otherwise.
Thanks, Rick...hope you are right. Just hard to see good dominoes falling right now. The best thing going for Fuse are the new guys who invested but haven't said anything.
Sure would like to see some sort of a plan beyond dilution and hanging on by the fingernails.
Why - hunch?
Hi Twitums-
Your positive prognostications did not come to pass...what happened? Please explain why anyone should have faith in this company.
Respectfully,
Take-
Nothing good is happening here...Fuse is a story, not a company.
Gotcha...completely understand.
Can you share the nature of the new promises?
I have no faith in a management group that operates through the secondary rumor market. The company's lack of communication is an act of cowardice.
Hope you are right, Rick...they also need new people in the front office, at least in an advisory capacity. The lack of disclosure, communication is indefensible.
Hi Pauly-
It's not "all good" and that is obvious...been invested for over 2.5 years and am still waiting for them to deliver on something/anything. Where are the interesting products that make consumers take notice? Where is evidence of someone who knows anything about basic project management and market execution? The only thing they are good at is attracting/signing names to now worthless stock. They have access to a proven winner like DJ and seemingly lose his phone number.
Where are the big deals? Where are the next generation of applications of the science? What is the science?
As always, more questions than answers. Brian Tuffin needs to go and take everyone else with him. Any 4 of us on this board could do better than those who have spent the last 2 years moving in circles...and that is the unvarnished truth.
I appreciate your persistent optimism and hope to be wrong about all of this...hard to see it turning around, though.
Come on...that's disrespectful to those who invested and lost.
We need new management.
Hi Mikcss-
Not sure if I can see the valuation that high - or even much beyond 50 million...of course, would love to be proven wrong!
Happy New Year.
World's greatest cartoons...
Hope so...sure would be a nice way to ring in the New Year!
Hi LngonDrop-
Just wanted to say thanks for the note you sent to me...I don't have private mail privileges - but sincerely appreciate your communication and perspective.
I have been in for more than 2.5 years and am curious as to the plans for 2014. Thanks again for the note. Happy Holidays.
Hi Take-
What makes you say/write this? Please share any insights. Thanks.
If they really posted that quote - disgraceful.
Hi Chag-
Chief hasn't been around in months. I've been here for 2.5 years...so have many others. The time to hear from BT and others is now. It really is.
Exactly...it is both discouraging and predictable.
That and the cliche-ridden tweets that are supposed to motivate people have the exact opposite effect.
Thanks, LngonDrp, for the note...I don't have that capability - so am replying here.
In short, my profile is similar to yours - though I don't correspond that frequently with the person you mentioned...
Am hopeful there are things brewing...have long felt that Fuse needs that 'killer app' product - the current products aren't 'must haves' but 'nice to haves.' A multi-vitamin, for example, would be a great start...
Been invested for 2.5 years so I definitely have been waiting to see what's in the cupboard - or at least what they've shown to TW, Andy, etc.
Thanks again. Happy Holidays.
Hi LngonDrp-
It is eerily quiet...would like to hear something from the company about their 2014 plans this year.
Let's hope it's in the works. All the best.
