Appreciate such an articulate and well-thought-out post---a rarity in this day and age of instant rant gratification.
Comments on your
1) Pretty much squat on
2) Would like to have confirmation of this...I think the more likely scenario is that LQMT, with their existing technology and know how, most likely is working IN CONCERT with Apple engineers to guide ENGEL in their refining their injection molding machines. Apple is an expert in the vision and the end-game, but amorphous metals technology has been gleened only through the school of hard knocks by LQMT Waniuk and team, and it is highly unlikely that Apple is developing machines without LQMT's input.......just my opinion
3)This would be nice; but if you have the experience of eight years as an investor in LQMT, LQMT.OB, LQMTE, LQMT.PK, predicting multiples is a fools game. STAYING POWER is the desired objective; Not spikes followed by long 1 or 2 year troughs.
4) I agree with this. This is why John Kang has set up a new manufacturing operation OF HIS OWN in China with his brother James.
As bungled as his handling of LQMT has been, it has been John Kang who has provided the vision and direction for this company. In spite of his botched timing, disregard for written agreements and disdain for shareholders, he has been the main driver for commercializing Vitreloy and their spin-offs. However, except for ONLY the recent deal with APPLE, he has been mis-guided and a failure in following up and maintaining all of the initial inroads which were established with Samsung, Socket.com, LG, SANDISK, SONY, yada yada yada.
But his vision has only been for his own enrichment, no matter what the cost has been to shareholders. He is a very selfish, narcisstic individual who tries to cover his sins under the Cloak of his pseudo practice of religion on Sundays.
You will see Apple products made, but they won't be made in LQMT factories; they will be made in John and James Kang's factories which won't help LQMT SQUAT.
5) Agreed. Read number 4 again. LQMT is just a shell of a company doing R&D and licensing.
6) LQMT never made a dime off of any of the sporting goods products
7) Watches..........agreed. Golf clubs, totally disagree. If you had done all of your homework, you would know that the applications to the PGA for approval of LQMT clubs was long time ago (6 plus years) denied to LQMT because it violated the specifications for clubs existing at the time. I don't think this dilemna has been overcome (probablly because Kang squandered all of the IPO monies to pay off the debts of 42 million which was left from the failed golf attempt. 20 million alone was wasted by Otis Buchanan on his failed infomercials and endorsements by pro's
11) A worthy speculation
The others 8-10 aren't worth comment
YOUR MAJOR OMISSION has been in the defense R&D which is still ongoing for using LQMT in projectiles (small and large) as a replacement for DU (depleted uranium) and as coatings for naval vessels for not only corrosion, but deflection of torpedoes from anticipated targets due to the non-magnetic charactreristics of the glasses.
