did ya notice that LOGO is still on the air?
:)
'asset verification'. ok.. I like that. Kinda like 'soft tissue damage' when discussing auto accident settlements :)
dare I ask how much a place like that in your neighborhood goes for? I know what it would be in the nicer part of Seattle :))
:)) I dream of having a yard that big for my girls.
AWWWW!!! Runnin' little Emma...she's soo grown! Happy, healthy girl.
it's delisted. why would it ever trade?
thanks :)
I doubt she'd remember me. Only met once. Nice to see she's still around.
Is she even still around?
wow...when did Peter leave?? That's pretty much it for me. I'll take my loss at the end of the year and say goodbye. $R*)(@!#*$*#
yup. I wonder if the ship is even still floating or it's just drifting off in ocean somewhere. What a waste :(
sigh...no telling how old that beautiful creature is. I suppose they didn't let it live.
:)))))))
:)))))
ROTFLMAO..those are NOT happy dogs :)))
HAHAHAH...right on, man.
What's really amazing is how much she looks like MY Emma, the greyhound :)
I sooo love Pointers. Had one for 12 years. Baron George Von Helldog :)
awwwww!!!
hahahah :) I love dogs.
wow! Great story!!!
:))) me either..open the door and shoo them out into the yard :)
:)) a small female would do just fine in an apartment..but the 'going out to pee' thing could be a pain..
My guess is that they were picking up on the disoriented and somewhat frantic pack energy there. YOUR pack is very well balanced..doesn't take much to upset that.
quite often these events will have older dogs that have been returned from an existing home situation. You'll find that a lot of seniors will adopt greys, because they DON'T need a lot of excercise. Sadly, a lot of those people pass on before the dogs :((
sometimes..quite often all the ever know is dirt and their crates...depends on where they're from. Most don't even know how to beg for people food :)
here's a few facts:
Greys are raised as a litter, not separated. That's one of the reason they have such great dog manners.
The start racing about 16-18 months. They must win/place/show in 3 relatively high stakes races, otherwise, they're deemed no good. MOST greys racing careers are 6-9 MONTHS..That's it. If they do well, they can certainly hang for 2-3 years..
Only the champion dogs are bred...hence the breed having few, if any, inherent health issues (like hip displacia, etc.). There is a high incidence of bone cancer tho...most likely traced back to the really garbage, hi protein food their fed.
plenty of info online:

yup.. we used to do a lot of fostering of Greys right of the track.. They have to be taught everything...stairs, carpet, glass doors, you name it. Takes em about two days :)
from what I've learned, ear language in Greys is a bit different. The 'laid back' often means 'submissive, content and no threat' a lot more than it means 'fear'. But yeah..at those kind of events (especially if the dogs are fresh off the track), there certainly is a lot of fear going on.
great shots!!! Thanks for sending..Sorry i haven't been around..workin' like a fool :)
what are you talking about?
are those 'powerful people' the same ones that Megas called "wankers"?
Bet they're just chomping at the bit to help.
well..here's the original video of Holly :)
I gotta shoot better video.
and there's hasn't been an official P& L Statment? in freakin' years.
I think so too.
have we hit a new low yet?
