Interesting that the BORK pps as of 3:52 est is .006 , up 200% from the .002 levels of 2 weeks ago.
Also interesting that 3,757,386 shares have traded today , approx $24,000 total value. Small potatoes, but relatively large numbers of shares traded based on average volumes over the last 2 years.
Ask is .0079, bid .006
Is Rip Van Winkle stirring after his 6 year slumber, or just JB rolling over in his sleep again?
I have no idea of the motivation, or how $5 thousand dollars would be helpful from this mini contest, but thought I'd share in case others hadn't seen it.
We've heard multiple times that "20XX" is gonna be Bourque's year ( take your pick) .
We're well beyond my current mental response, which is: "really, then show me please"... ( and don't Tweet it, actually DO it for a change).

Part 3: Go-to-Market Plan
Our current customers will be industry Giants and Innovators licensing the Kryron Technology to create proprietary and
primary market shares with our materials for their products. Bourque Industries is working with industry professionals to
engage with top tier manufacturers in our target markets. We are attending Industry Shows and participating in metallurgical
seminars. We have engaged two top wire industry professionals who are currently working with 11 of the premier wire
producers in the world. Our wire is currently being produced in their R & D Facilities for inclusion in specific wiring
applications. The Armor Industry has several annual shows we will be attending including AUSA, Shot Show, IACP as
examples. Bourque has been invited to speak at several international metallurgical and energy events internationally. We
have attended several events sponsored by ACA including the Tucson seminar Understanding SBIR/STTR. As a result of the
seminar we are interfacing with the AirForce and Darpa on several programs. We are the sole producer and patent holder for
the Kryron material. Once Kryron is added to a material or a product it becomes “unique” and can also be considered a sole
source product. Bourque Industries is looking to create manufacturing in Arizona for its Kryron material. We will be creating
competition between corporations and industries for their products and materials due to the increased benefits of adding
Kryron materials to “its” products. Market share and demand will increase for their products due to increased ballistic
capacity and lower weight, superior heat sink capacity, increased conductivity and increased strength and hardness while
possibly reducing weight and volume.
Bourque apparently is looking for funding...

We can play rock song lyrics all day. Its much tougher to be an effective leader.
Happy to see the positive spin , but if true that .002 is the new "floor" or support, it represents 1/5 of the previous floor of .01 which held for some months, before that .05 was the previous floor.
Prior to that , the .05 floor was the .25.
I could go on. I was here when $2.00 was the "floor ".
If you're suggesting that this is a good value based on the new .002 value, I would respectfully disagree.
There's been only one over riding and continual trend line for BI, and it's been all downward.
I can't see any reversal to that given the complete absence of any corporate communications, or verifiable performance in the form of a positive financial statement.
I guess I'm asking Bourque to begin acting like a public company, and not a 12 year old girl's social media program ( this is an insult to 12 year old girls, and I apologize to them in advance)
apparently everybody is....14 million shares traded, and all one direction.
noguts,
all true, and although I've never been to BI, I know of enough people over the last 5+ years who have to know that products have been produced there....albeit in very small , pretty insignificant numbers .
As far as watching , waiting and seeing this thing tank over and over again, I'm with you. There isn't much left in the pps to fall.
Not sure what to think anymore, but the stuff I do think isn't very positive anymore. It's too bad that they can't come up with at least one small , viable, marketable product (from the dozens identified here over the years) that would show they're a living , breathing entity. And then move from there.
I mean geezus, 5+ years and the income statement shows $1800 in annual sales? (pretty sure I was $1300 of that!) Without sounding like just another whiner, that is a very, very sad joke, no matter how you cut it. And it's indefensible by any measure . With the average plate going for $200 , going door to door selling them off of a bicycle in a senior citizen's complex would've produced more sales than this.
But we got Tweets....and tweets, and more tweets . Most of 'em undecipherable, but we've got tweets.
Enough said, now I am griping .
It's all semantics but my post referenced wasn't hearsay, it actually occurred as I wrote it. Of course since there's no way to verify, it may be considered hearsay to others. Like I said, purely semantics, depending on your definition of hearsay. (No responses required with a definition of "hearsay", we're all capable of Googling it if required) .
The post that mentioned that all the plates being currently sold are other manufacturer's products , I also believe to be "mostly" untrue. Mostly because the plates themselves are a BI product , and the coverings are not . Again, this is my opinion, I don't work at BI, I've never been there or watched plates being manufactured. But I know what I held in my hand , and what is slipped into a vest pocket 4 mornings a week.
While I have no way of knowing exactly the manufacturing source of the plates (not the coverings) that I bought from BI last spring, ( I wasn't present when they were poured) I can tell you they're metallic (not ceramic) in nature , lightweight and in my opinion , Bourque made. I also coincidentally called BI the day they were being poured and JB had to call back ostensibly because he was in the middle of the pouring process....and again , I wasn't there, so no way to verify. So it is my hearsay belief that the plates themselves are Bourque made.
None of this matters, as the stock is now down another 75% today from the penny level that it stubbornly held for many months. Curently hovering at a quarter of a penny this morning on another dump of 4 million + shares. No amount of tweets , averaging down or speculative discussion can dispute the fact that shareholders , nearly universally , are in the crapper with this "invstment" (with the exception of the few smart folks who sold at $4+ 5 years ago, of which I was not one) .
There's not much else to say here, and hasn't been for 5 years. . Is there a product? I think so. Does it matter? , I don't think so as no one appears to be buying any of it, and investors clearly aren't thrilled with the results coming out of Arizona .
Out of sheer boredom I noticed the lab sign behind him in Spanish, with no English next to it.
Let the renewed speculation begin.
Gotta say, nice lab coat
Great article Bobeye, and points out an obvious non law enforcement market that would seem right up Bourques wheelhouse...
Hi Alive, I'm not aware of any additional purchases, private party or otherwise, and I wouldn't be privy to any.
My feeling when ordering mine, and it's only a feeling, is that the armor program at Bourque is just ramping up, and significant sales haven't happened yet .
Not what anyone wants to hear, especially me, but I'm at least encouraged they have products that are close enough to market, that a small buyer like me was able to order. I asked John when ordering, point blank, if they could successfully execute a bulk 1000 plate order at this point, and his answer was , "yes, I could have an order like that shipped within a few weeks or less".
I'm fairly confident they'll eventually have a full line armor plate lineup available , and are more than likely working out the angles on NIJ certs on these new version plates. Once again, only.my opinion, wish I had more.
I do know there was good attendance at the demo, and at least one large aircraft mfr. had a representative in attendance. Of course we've heard this all before and nothing came of it, at least from the standpoint of justifying an investment with financial results.
We wait.
In my discussions with JB, I was only made aware of 2 plates, the thin and the thicker ballistic style trauma plates. There may be others, and I only purchased front plates, and JB also offered back plates.
I don't know if they're still identified as Terminator plates anymore. They aren't labelled that way ( they now have a deep embossed Bourque " B" logo on them. )
Both plates are available in multiple sizes to fit various sized carriers, and they are now curved ( I believe they're termed "triple curved") for wearer comfort.
The thinner patrol plates I purchased were 9" x 7" , the thicker one closer to 10" x 12"
I had a trusted friend of my family who is in law enforcement attend the demo , and asked his first hand impressions before I purchased anything.
He reported the Level II thinner plate was shot at the demo 2x with a 9mm, 2x with a 45, and 4x with an AK47. There was no penetration , and what he called very minimal backface deformation.
The thicker ballistic plate ( Level 3?) was shot 6x with 30 caliber AP rounds with no penetration and little deformation.
It is also interesting to note that both of the new plates I purchased and the ones shot at the demo , are now coated in a hard , rubberized coating , similar to the truck bed coating Line X. This replaces the DuPont Spectra spall wrap of the earlier plates purchased 4 years ago. The coating is reportedly much better at stopping and catching the bullet fragmentation. Also does not fray or wear out like the Spectra wrap does over time .
I can probably post pictures if needed.
Hi Doug,
I bought a total of 3 plates, 2 different types.
The lighter , thinner "patrol " style plates weighs approx 2 lbs ( I can weigh it for exact weight if needed). These plates are used for normal day to day sheriff's deputy patrol duty.
The thicker, heavier ballistic plate, used for SWAT situations is closer to 6 lbs.
At a recent demo both plates were shot with multiple different caliber rounds. There was no penetration and little backface deformation on those plates.
I will acertain the rounds used, and how many , and post after talking with my son.

You're right. As a public co. they shouldn't be in arrears on their financials, and it's indefensible. Hopefully they'll realize this and get it corrected.
To confirm : My Bourque plates were paid for and received as promised in May and are currently in use.
The information posted about the older Collier plates being confiscated is not accurate.
Mike
That's my understanding, and also not sure if they're capable of absorbing multiple impacts like the Bourque plate.
Interesting because that's about what I just paid for a Bourque Level 3 plate that's rated for greater than small arms fire.
Hopefully the Bourque crew can get the word out to the right people...
My impression , and it's only that , an "impression" is that Bourque might be very close to being able to produce and sell significant sized plate orders.
The impediment to major sales as I see it, is that these newest version plates are not yet NIJ certified like the Level 3 Terminator plate that was eventually certified back in 2012.
The assumption is that many law enforcement, military and federal agencies might require it....and as we know that can be a lengthy process.
Private individuals and private security firms do not require NIJ, although I'm confident BI will eventually pursue those certs.
The informal quote I received was for $695 for the top of the line ballistic (SWAT) plate and $525 for the thinner, everyday wear trauma plate .
Their pricing is significantly higher than the competition, but the level of protection ( Level IV vs Level 3 protection) and the fact that the Bourque plates indicate the ability to withstand multiple hits makes the decision simple.
After watching the San Bernardino and Paris incidents last year, and reading the after reports of both, it's apparent no combatant uses single shot weapons....all of them are automatic or semi-automatic weapon equipped.
Why are the majority of law enforcement and military procurement contracts for outdated, inferior ceramic or poly plates?
Answer...because up til now there wasn't an option, and because they're cheaper....about $200-300 on average.
I'm not comfortable waiting for the budget people to figure out that a 32 year olds life is worth more than the $300 difference, simply because they're not up to date on what's available .
Merthy, have them call and ask for JB, that's what I did.
A month ago they weren't quite ready when I called, apparently now they can manage at least small orders like mine
I appreciate the economics lesson.
Since I dont manage the company , there's no way for me to know their incremental product cost per plate, Ill give John Vourwue a call to see if I can answer your question
Yes, and we're replacing that one with a thicker ballistic version for swat use. The 2nd one is the thinner patrol version for another family member. Both are the most current version that BI has developed in the last year. Significantly improved from the 2012 plate we bought last time. Tests I've seen indicate both are more resilient than the agency supplied plates .
I bought 2 of their newest version ballistic plates today from John Bourque for delivery early the week of May 24th.
I don't know if that qualifies for a mini profitable contract or not, but if you'd like I can post pictures of the plates and the invoice when I receive them...
All valid points. The armor angle while important is a complicated , crowded market. But it's also possible I'm not thinking large enough, as in possible sales in foreign markets, or as you mentioned private party or private security firms.
I'm a firm believer in the better mousetrap theory though, and if this armor is truly best in class , it would seem that message would eventually make it to those who wish to survive an encounter with rifle or handgun fire.
In the meantime , you're right, we wait....
Good catch Doug,
The Mims Motors 4/25/16 Facebook announcement of the partnership with Bourque has indeed been taken down. Strange indeed. Maybe a case of Eric Mims getting a little too excited too soon without checking with JB before posting .
I haven't checked the new Twitter post yet, but my understanding is that any armor sales will only happen once all of the necessary testing and sign offs are completed . I remember last time around , it took months and months to get the company that made the Spectra wrapping on the plates to do their own testing . Then there was the NIJ wait. So my guess is the same thing is happening now since they've redesigned and improved the plates.
I asked Mims Motors, via their Facebook page, if they could elaborate on the types of materials Bourque Industries might be supplying them, and received this pretty vague , generic response (it's viewable on FB I think)
"Mims Motors

The technological advances will come to light very soon, they have many applications that advance safety and other attributes of our vehicles as well as the world's material requirements. Check out their website for more information on the advancements they are making at www.Bourque industries.com"
I would think, but it's been over a week, you'd think if this was significant there would've been some sort of announcement.?
Thanks Merthy,
I appreciate your efforts,
Mike
"Mims Motors" Anyone ever hear of them?
A friend found this small article on their Facebook page the other day. They seem to be involved with trying to bring an electric car to market .
Here's a copy paste from them from April 25, 2016

Before fuel prices took the fun out of cruising, and added new phrases to the English vernacular like, pain at the pump, going for a Sunday drive was the relaxing thing for families to do.
It brought us together as families and friends.
Hop in the car and go to the next few towns to get ice cream, or for the young cruising down the local drag just to hang out and show off your new ride.
With our new partnership with Bourque IndustriesMims Motors Corporation will increase the range of our vehicles to heights unheard of in the automotive industry, allowing that age old tradition to become the norm again.
Power to weight ratio has taken on new meaning, as our vehicles will not only increase in power, but become even lighter in the process while gaining even more strength to protect you in the event of an accident.

Thoughts?
well , I'm not really looking for any more "feel good emotions" ...I'm looking for investable facts...you've heard it from me 100 times over.
As for a visit, I wouldn't be going there to make friends. As an investor I would be going to gather information, and make assumptions or fact based decisions based on those observations . I dont think I would post those observations here, because they're rightly or wrongly generally dismissed or outright attacked ....which would make me reluctant to share. God forbid I observe something positive or with merit that others might find interesting .
Ok Merthy, I'll be the first to bite.....
Since there's no current release at OTC markets about gross revenues and net income, are you at liberty to elaborate?
That's the impression I got also. They called back and my impression was that the current armor being worked on / tested is going to be materially different from the stuff we purchased in 2011.
My guess is that until they get the testing and approvals lined up (again) they really cant sell the newest version that they hope to come out.
So by inference, my gut tells me they've got a newer armor in the pipeline, but not available for sale .
In my humble opinion...not much day trading activity.
Bourque would be tough to consistently day trade, where you need both price volatility, and alot of shares available for trading.
There's been some pps volatility, but not a ton of share activity, although there has been some growth in that dept.
With it hovering between 8/10 of a cent and 1.5 cents , it would also require alot of shares traded to make any real profit.
More likely the modest increases would the be a gradual awareness of activity at BI because of the recent pr and grapevine talk amongst current investors. I'm aware of at least 2 larger trades in the last 2 weeks that fell into that category.
The concern would be that without continual, consistent communication to the market and shareholders in the form of positive , factual pr's like last week's wire pr, we'll just float back down into the general malaise category we've been in for the last 3+ years.
The last pr was well written, and hopefully indicative of frequent future communications ( every 2 weeks or so?)
Ditto that thought BTU.
The hope is maybe they're on the threshold or maybe pre-threshold of either letter of intents, purchase orders or outright sales.
Or not.
Not complaining, because decent exposure is better than none.
Hoping it's not Bourque produced though, as rap music is not the image a law enforcement or military decision / purchasing manager would necessarily want associated with armor .
Again, minor point, and probably indicative of my old age, and generation. !
Thanks Titan,
Any idea of who attendees were, and approx date of demo?
Any thoughts on whether they were offering armor for sale at this demo, or was it more informational, interest generating in nature?
Was video a Bourque generated piece, or something put together by an attendee?
Any thoughts appreciated
