Hi Fourkids,
I'm just getting back into the loop after holidays and noticed the news announcement. My first thoughts were that this is good news. The stock has been down on increased volume however.
Any thoughts what's going on??
Thanks
Thanks again Fourkids!! :)
Thanks for taking the time to make this clear.
Your detailed, thoughtful and logical analysis is appreciated by many on this board!!
Fourkids,
Can you please clarify this comment:
"will the co. become an accretive acquisition or go it alone
the difference imo (by 2015/2017) is about 1000.00 bucks per share"
Thanks and I agree with everything else you said.
I agree completely b2b and thanks for asking the question. As you, I was not very happy with the answer we got. Not only was it vague, he basically blew it off as a non-important answer.
Also, fourkids thanks for your thoughts. I agree that the SEC is a must before any talk of uplisting. It would have been nice however if they had a least said it was an issue they are taking serious.
Hi Fourkids,
I haven't had an opportunity to read all the posts here, and I don't know if you were at the AGM, but I wanted to get your thoughts on the following:
A question was asked about an uplisting of the company to another exchange. The answer from the CFO was fairly blunt that they had no intention of uplisting any time soon.
Did you here this? and
What do you make of this comment?
This may not be a big issue for U.S. shareholders but it is for Canadians since Canadians can't hold these shares in registered accounts.
Thx
John did speak and answered questions pertaining to the technology.
Kevin Rauber stole the show.
Just got home from the AGM.
The new executive team is great, The CEO was exceptional. He is focused, passionate and he basically promised the company would be "cashflow positive in Q1 2013".
Good move by John the create an executive team!!
Very well said EP. I would have to agree with much of what you say here.
This company has just jumped a large hurdle and the changes being put forth are definitely for the greater good of the company and the shareholders.
JB is still great and what he has done to date is not only great but amazing!!!
Losing all that money however is not great, but that goes hand in hand with a start up of this magnitude.
Has it occured to anyone that just maybe he left RKT on his own to take on this new role at JBI. Now that he is familiar with the extraordinary opportunity that exists with JBI, maybe (and I'm only guessing) maybe he wants to be on board because he sees to incredible future that lies ahead.
Also, I believe John moving over the CTO is the right move for him and the company. Whether or not this is due to the SEC issue, it is the right move IMO.
GO JBI GO!!
They still have to refine the end product. Doesn't JBI's come already refined from their process???
Any thoughts??
I guess $476,500.
Koolmoto,
Thanks for these posts. Very interesting!! I'm learning more and more about MM's.
I think I will be getting Level 2 quotes going forward. This is probably a good way to see what is really going on.
I'm sure JBII investors won't let the MM's rule the day, however!!
Excellent post and a must read report for all JBI followers.
Not only does this report highlight the benefits for the entire Pyrolysis technology, it shines a very positive light on JBI vs. its competitors.
Another validation for JBI longs!!!!
GO JBI!!!
Not sure of the zip code but the address is correct.
I mostly agree. As I said earlier (see: Post 172133) competition is good, especially when you back the clear winner!!
Hi DCX,
From the Can/US border in Niagara Falls (Rainbow Bridge) the plant is only about 5-7 minutes away. From Welland to the plant it is probably 30-40 minutes. This assumes no wait at the border.
I think having Agilyx as a competitor is a good thing. When investors and analysts compare these two companies in the future, they will be blown away by to competitive advantage JBI will have regarding quality and quantity of output fuel as well as the cost of production being so much less. Agilyx needs oil to be over $80 a barrel........doesn't sound like very good profit margins at all!!!
IMO, JBI wins the race long term!!!!
GO JBI!!!
I think those selling are missing the point of what is going on here. This is a NEW technology! This is a NEW company! There are many NEW employees!! It is using NEW processes!!
Real investors understand that all of these "NEW" things take time. Of course mistakes are made along the way because this is all a NEW experience.
I would love to see progress and would definitely love to see it happen quicker, but if it takes time I'm ok with that as long as the progress will make the long term results better.
At some point, not sure when, IMO, this stock will provide exponential growth for its shareholders.
GO JBII!!!
Hey fourkids 9 pets, I have less kids and no pets (unless you call a Beta fish a pet).
Other than this, we think alike!
GO JBII!!!
What amazes me about this whole thing is how JB and his team have thought more about the long term and have not forced themselves to make poor short term decisions just to appease SHORT TERM thinking nay-sayers. I was blown away by the attention to detail of their #2 processor. No wonder it has taken this long; but by doing so, they have laid an incredible and solid foundation for the future. What it ensures is that when the major rollout of proc. occurs, they should be able to do so with little to no implementation issues.
What is also incredible to me is that they can switch from one type of fuel output to another at any given time with no impact to production. If one fuel is in higher demand or has a higher profit margin they just switch to that fuel; what a beautiful thing.
To me this is great long term thinking and long term shareholders (not traders or short sellers) will be higher rewarded!!!
Did we get shockingly great news, perhaps not. But what we did hear is a well thought out strategy and an incredible new and GREEN technology that will rule this space.
GO JBII!!!!!
Krazy I am one of the eyes on the ground and it does seem very busy there. I agree with everything you say here and feel it is the correct assessment of what is going on here.
GO JBII
For all of the bears/shorts, evidence is weighing very much against you. Everyone who follows JBI understands that the SEC investigation, even if proven, will have little long term affect on this amazing new technology.
I read somewhere that there is about 38,000 shares short on this stock. Based on the total float, this seems extremely small. FourKids, does this make sense to you and if so, what are your thoughts on such a small position?
Go JBII
I understand this and it sure has delayed the process. The intent of my post was to clarify a point regarding Canadians investing in the retirement plans. Anyways, hopefully the SEC issue will be dealt with quickly (in JBI's favour of course) and we can move on. I, like many others on this board, believe the SEC and the so called "ambulance chasers", have little to stand on.
It is true Canadians can not buy OTC stocks in retirement or other "registered" accounts. There is the potential that on an uplisting to an exchange (including TSX) that there may be significant interest on this side of the border. People tend to do most of their saving in registered accounts. I for one intend on buying more shares once an uplisting comes........hopefully just before mutual funds and pensions plans get on board, ha, ha!
Go JBI.....
I visit JBI today at the Niagara Falls N.Y. location.
I have been following this blog for a few years now and this is my first post. I am a committed LONG and have been since the beginning (even before P2O). I was fortunate enough to be on the original tour of the plant when it was in its infancy. After my visit today I was quite impressed with what I saw. There is the new building which looks complete on the outside, there are many cars of employees (I saw at least 10), there are several new holding tanks and a lot of large pallets of something materials.
I also witnessed a number of cars coming and going in the 10-12 minutes I was there. I was able to speak to a security guard who was very friendly (this is the same experience of a previous poster). I told him I was a shareholder and wanted to have a look. He was in no hurry to rush me off the site. We spoke for about 5 minutes. He obviously couldn't/wouldn't tell me anything specific but a comment he made to me twice was that "the people working here leave each day with a smile on their face". Very interesting comment no doubt. I took some pictures which I hope to include below. Most are similar to the previous ones seen however there is one I took when I was leaving that was showing what seemed like a huge amount of steam coming from some kind of a unit. Perhaps this is the excess steam from the melting process (just a guess, as I have no real idea).
I must say that although JB has made some missteps (shorts would call them irreparable blunders), we must cut him and the company some slack. It is a start up and it is bound to make mistakes. I believe, as do many other longs, that in the end, these missteps will only prove to be minor inconveniences in the long run. I must say that I do appreciate all that is said on this board and especially appreciate the efforts of Fourkids and Rawnoc. To me they back up there comments with hard facts.
To all short seller, you may want to rethink your positions.
Go JBII!
** I can't seem to figure out how to include photo's from my blackberry. Any ideas??
Location of property in Niagara Falls: I will be heading there this afternoon but need the address. It has been posted here before. Can someone please provide it to me.
