I get it. Will there/are there links to the distributors' sites?
Good point. I still think snow plow blades is a great way to go. My understanding is that they only last a few hours.
There were 18 cars out front when I drove by a couple of weeks ago.
ATL, it would be great if distributors would hire you to create their websites. Then everyone would be sure that it was done right. Thank you for your efforts and insight!
Liq. armor probably not multi-impact. Doesn't talk anything about it. My first thought was how does it protect after it is hardened? Will it take 60 rounds like kryron? I'm not reading that it will. What happens if it leaks? Will it stop a slower arrow? I'm not convinced it will make kryron obsolete.
trebor, I drove past drexel about a week ago and there were 18 vehicles in front, with nearly all parking in that area filled.
HALLELUJAH!!! ATL, It's AWESOME!!! One suggestion - I noticed in the ballistics part that 50 cal AP is mentioned and might be helpful to the less informed to define that as "armor piercing" somewhere. At one time I had to figure that out myself and for a little while I wasn't sure. Not a big thing, but maybe for the bottom of the to-do list somewhere.
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. Now it feels like we are in business for REAL. God bless you and the team!
MAY THE BORK BE WITH YOU!
I have beach property in Nevada for you.
Amazing how so many are taking the bait on this totally unfounded rumor by a complete unknown. My only guess is that it could be to manipulate the price of the stock.
Question: Is it illegal to knowingly post false rumors for the sole purpose of manipulating a stock price for personal gain? Would it be a felony?
Why do you give it the time of day and speculate over something so flimsy? All while driving your PPS down. And then not even realizing that you are probably being played and doing exactly what was hoped for.
BTW... Take a look at the chart and the posting time. The stock dropped when this subject came up and everyone started their "oh noes!"-fest.
Makes me wonder what kinds of rumors could be started here and taken for gospel truth?

What is the credibility? Uh... ZERO!
Take a breath and wait, but if you keep posting about it, you will probably lose and the shorters will win. Nuff said.
Yes. As I have been told, copper can be kryronized. One of the guys melted down some horseshoes and kryronized them.
pigs: thanks for the info, but for those like me, would you be willing to give a simplistic explanation of what makes this chart good? (like "green is good") Thanks
Looks like the story is getting legs. Check out this google search:

Here is an article from the Cincinnati area demonstrating the anti-theft need for kryronized wire:
Duke Energy Employees Implicated in Massive Copper Theft
http://www.local12.com/News/Local/story/Duke-Energy-Employees-Implicated-in-Massive/g0e0JCjSMkehkSE9W-4lGw.cspx#.TzUHyeFGrBU.twitter
"It could be the biggest copper theft in U.S. history and it's apparently been going on here in the Tri-State for years. It involves a massive on-going federal investigation. In a story you'll see only on Local 12, reporter Rich Jaffe adds up the cost of a missing treasure chest of "red gold"."...
Let me mess up your math. I submit that plates will not be made in the big facility, but rather busbars. What would be the numbers for that?
90 days... 5 days per week
90/5 = 18 weeks
add a guesstimate of 5 holidays = 19 weeks
one month = 4.5 weeks
19 weeks = four months plus one week
I say, the more, the merrier. Although I do recommend a Democrat version and a Republican version of letters focusing on each ones' interests and values.
Do we have anyone on this board from some of the other states?

Great letter, Mike. McCain is the Rep. Sen Leader of Armed Services Committee. Anyone planning to write to him, too?
I would suggest leaving out the State of the Union quote, and gear it toward saving lives of our men and women.
Inhofe is on the committee as well and says on his site he is opposed to military cuts.
Here is the committee list:

List of members of the subcommittes:

Kelly Ayotte of NH might be one to write to. She is new to the Senate, only been there for just over a year and on the ASC. She might have less incoming mail and being "fresh" she might be willing to take this on because of its merits. Her husband is a Lt. Col in the Air Nat'l Guard. She also appears to be a small business advocate.

Kelly is also on the Commerce Committee, having to do with new technology and says that she is on the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, where "Kelly is using her position on this panel to eliminate bureaucratic red tape so that businesses can better compete in the global marketplace."

BINGO!!!
BAM shares are restricted until around Dec. 2012. Other restricted shares from the original merger of GPGI and BORK come off restriction in Feb. 2011.
Amen. And I also see contracts announced in Jan. to be part of the new year.
Google Finance is being weird. PR's disappear quickly and then today the last two reappeared. Now they are gone again. They used to have all of them, then a couple of months ago they were all gone. Then some of the new ones would be up for a while and then they were wiped away. Some one seems to be messing with the news over there. Very strange indeed.
Please tell how you know that they are not making anything.
10-15 cars seems significant to me. It is not deserted. There has always been activity when I have been by. They have a non-automated production process, so I think it is presumptive to assume that there is nothing being made unless you have some way to back up your claim.
FB post is a higher quality plasma spray video.

Thx J2, great info. My spidey sense tells me that we won't see any order announcements for at least 2 1/2 weeks. It is reasonable to guess that they will want to have the orders on the books for the 2012. This year is nearly done and it won't help much to have them in 2011, IMO. I hope that they will give us some more PRs like the last one in the meantime...
NIJ is the precursor to contract announcements. Any more info on this?
Yes, having a reversible plate is really amazing. If I understand correctly, if a ceramic plate is inserted backwards into the vest (such as in the middle of the night or in a rush), the ballistic impact can be deadly to the wearer.
BTW... did anyone notice that Bloomberg has Bourque spelled "Borque"? Can anyone say TYPO!!!
I think it is weird. Google Finance used to show ALL of the news, then they only showed the most recent news. And now this doesn't show up at all. Time to put on my tin foil hat...
I like this: "The Level III stand-alone system is available for purchase immediately for all other military and law enforcement customers."
Thank you for the PR post!
Volume Friday was 22K and in first 2 minutes today was already 17K, then 18K. And now bid volume is over 11K and stalled .... hmmmm.... I'm not selling. So what does L2 look like today, anyone?
ATL, can you help me to understand better what you mean by number of buys and number of sells. Does it mean who comes in at whose price (ask vs bid)?
THANK YOU BOURQUE HOME TEAM~!!!!!!!!! MWAH!!!!!
No idea, dunno. For all we know it could be very quick -- or not. I've learned that everything in life takes 10x longer than you want. :) So personally I'm taking it all in stride because it will happen eventually.
Speaking of speed, I spoke with a friend recently who is a trader, to whom I introduced to Bourque a while back. He introduced another trader friend who was going back over all of the past PRs. His comment was that he was blown away with the great speed at which this company was moving. In all his experience, he had never seen a company moving so fast.
So, what seems like an eternity to some of us is a blur to others.
If you are asking about the Oregon Ballistics, it is the the shooting portion of the NIJ certification process.
JB... take a look at what the basalt technology is... they say fiber. What are the properties? What can you do with fiber? What does kryonization do to other materials? What kind of material do you think can be made? Then imagine what the applications of such a thing would be. You are only limited by your imagination!
Take a minute to figure out the answers to the questions and you may be blown away with what you come up with.
Sorry floridays, no one discussed that. Someone may have asked but I personally figured it would be proprietary information, as those things usually are.
I personally would be concerned to have them telling me all that stuff because if the do, then other companies would get that info as well. And... that's not how you protect your investment.
I knew a guy whose family was in the fur business a long, long time ago and they figured out how to breed a specific color and they were the only ones who had it. One of the co-owners was at a conference and started talking to people and he couldn't help but to brag. Soon he was telling them exactly how they did it. Well, it wasn't long after that they no longer were the only ones with that color. Lots of people had it.
They lost millions and millions of dollars because someone couldn't keep their mouth quiet.
Personally, I prefer that they don't say. Who knows, what if it potentially devalues my investment?
I know one of our border-protecting sheriffs is very interested in knowing about kryron. I forwarded his info to HQ.
