Glad to be back. Could be fun. I could really cut some losses if this sh gained back some pennies... not terribly optimistic, but as I said - interested.
David Levy found guilty. Old news from the DoJ - dated March 22. We've heard about this former investor of GDGI. I think he's holding close to $3M in GDGI debt - under some red herring called EZ English. Okay - so here's the snip from the DoJ release:
DAVID LEVY was also convicted of securities fraud in connection with his efforts to orchestrate a multi-year pump and dump scheme involving a third company that he helped take public: Greenway Design Group, Inc., which has traded under symbol “GDGI.” Evidence presented at trial demonstrated that DAVID LEVY awarded himself secret shares in GDGI in the name of a Panamanian shell company maintained by a money launderer.
If so, can't the company go after him in civil and sue for damages? $40k (tops) in legal fees and the company could instantly wipe out millions in debt.
Suddenly, I'm interested again... or am I delusional?
All this negativity! I've actually made some green on this one too. Incremental earning! Makes up for the really bad ones out there - the real scams.
I concur on the $0.05 target. I believe that this is realistic given present rev prediction. Just thought I'd toss in my nickel's worth. =)
Old GDGI supporter - I bought big and lost big. Haven't posted in a while - did anyone notice that Ben *CEO" changed his Linked-in profile? He has a job selling mortgages. Says that he left Greenway back in May 2013!
Here's the posted phone number 714-337-1938.
Amen Capt. I'm going to hold on and be hopeful.
Not putting up with your trollish name calling - these are for hard working people, boy. Know what hard work is like? You rely on charts? LOL... I talk to people - get a feel for who they and what they do before I invest.
In the meantime... I talked with the PR dude there. He wouldn't go so far as to say bk was in the future, but he also said it was possible if the POs didn't get paid. I think the guy we ought to be cursing is David Levi - EZ English. The indictment says that man and his partners walked off with $5m from his pump and dump in March 2010.
NOTHING slimeball about this. If you spent as much time on your dd as you do bashing, you'd know that the company has a full operation in Huntington Beach. And yes indeed... the CEO drives a 10 year old SUV! Saw it with my own eyes. I invested because I had a good feeling about these guys and the technology they developed. They really put their heart into it. And I'll rip anybody's face off that wants to resort to idiotic name calling.
I was afraid of this - financial reports are delayed for only two reasons: no money to pay the accountant or bad news. When i saw the stop sign on OTC, I called the PR guy - very quiet and reserved about stuff. I think I'll go by their offices (I live in Newport Beach, have a business in HB)... check things out.
Good morning folks. Another day on the farm... watching GDGI (among others). Anything new to report?
valuation is $2m now, which seems about right IMO. but if they keep posting revenue PRs, then watch this sh kick up to a nic easy.
lol... no. LA. But I go so often that I feel like I live there. Nice lift. Rise but not too fast...
Think about lead time for sales. Fac managers/building owners - these guys don't make fast decisions. So what's the lead time? A year? All sales Greenway is making now are contacts they made over a year ago. I know for certain that they've been talking to Denny's and the Costa Ricans for over a year. Looking ahead for next year... Pepsico? Chesapeake? Will Hughes come back for more? Big sales potential as more folks see cost/benefit of owning this equipment.
Nice surprise after vacation. Glad to see revenues are starting to come in. 1+ is very much in this sh future.
Holding Long - that's the strategy for GDGI. I've talked to these guys enough to know that they're real - nothing fake about them. The product is real enough - I heard the Pepsi test went exceptionally well, btw. It'll take a bit of faith to get through this micro jungle, but I predict that soon cashflow value will exceed cap value. It'll be a happy day for us all then.
GDGI's 16,000 residential installations was sold while the company was a general partnership and while they had a celebrity endorsement from Ed Begley Jr. LOL... didn't have to call the company for that - put 2+2 together and figured it out for myself.
Also... ALL of the neg customer reports are on that residential "DIY" kit are posted prior to the company going public in 2010. The company went public to build the commercial system.
GDGI is as good as any other penny; struggling for cash - but in this case actually making some revs. Not some shell in the Bahamas. No need to remind that GDGI is non-reporting PINK?
AWESOME PR GREENWAY! And lookit all those cheap shares to pickup. This is going to be one heck of a day...
OBVIOUSLY, you failed your research - best restart. You still do not distinguish the rather significant differences between the residential system and the commercial one. Worse - you have pinned you entire case on bad results on Amazon?? LOL. Maybe you're just another short, but I've gone long on this co - plan to be there when they are acquired.
Please do not post old info - just confuses things. Greenway curtailed their residential operation at least a year ago (see 2011 CEO letter) in favor of the more profitable commercial system. The PR guy will openly tell you that the company doesn't sell the residential kit where water is really bad. Looking at the info you posted, I see many of those complaints go back to 2008 or earlier. I bought a residential system in 2010 and it works great - no problems at all. But the emphasis on earning potential is on commercial - not the residential system. Okay?
I have a feeling something is about to happen with these guys... no data, but a definite feeling. I'll be watching closely on Monday - Tuesday.
Thanks. Excellent dd material. About the worst you can say about Astrom is that he's a busy serial entrepreneur. Appears that some of "his" enterprises are functioning and moving toward revenue (which is a boatload better than most of OTC). I'm looking for a website or anything that demonstrates signs of life - if there are and there is revenue, then why not? Eh?
lol... love the poetry in your cynicism. As I said, I only know that this company appeared on a marketing list as an entity now accepting REO properties - thus, now ready to take contracts to maintain said properties (some guys actually take care of their assets).
As for Astrom... you mean THIS guy?
"On January 30, 2012 Richard Astrom tendered his resignation as President of the Company. Mr. Astrom will remain our sole director."
Does anybody know anything about him?
I'm reading some stuff about protracted litigation - that may explain the long delay. I'm going to continue to do the dd drilldown... see what I find out. I have a handful of 'emerging' trades - I was looking for a voip provider - I may be able to work with this.
okay... maybe premature... but here's my story about this issue.
Cannot name names, but this little op just got on my radar a week ago when the owner of a company that manages reo/distressed properties mentioned THIS company as a new participant in the reo market (trust, management, resell). That's where he gets his business from... so you see the connection.
As you probably are aware - right now, it takes a long time to move reo properties. But I believe (as do others) that things are about to swing the other way - and little ops like this may see their pps pop a little as they start doing some legitimate business. I'm always willing to drop a few bills on a sub and see where it goes - especially when I have real-world intel like this.
Now... full disclosure... I have not bought yet. I'll complete my dd on the company - they don't even have a website yet (LOL). Don't have much else other than a gut feeling... something tells me something is going on.
Some buzz going on about drwn - new acquisitions? One thing is certain, REO is a fixture in the market. I'm buying.
lol Paulo. You described about 90% of pennies listed on OTC, but of course you know that. Every penny is a major gamble. I own 10k on this issue. But before I invest, I do my dd by investigating tech and looking hard at viability. pps has NOTHING to do with my choice. VOIP-PAL has had their management issues, but I think they're about to crawl out of this funk and into better days. Mebbie I'll pony up some more pennies and buy another 10k just for luck.
I'm focused on revenue - enough tests; I want to see sales. As far as share structure - prior small OS/float was not ideal anyhow, IMO. Id' like to see more shares in the float - keep the shorts in check, get some liquidity on this issue. Once again, revenue is the main event.
agree; we have company - waiting for the next shoe to drop on these tests. And some update on revenues would be nice!!
They're in Lebanon?? There's a joke there... i just know there is... XD
IMO, increased OS/float will increase vol and stabilize pps. Now, if the good news continues and the company shows some revenue we'll see some green here.
thanks for the update!
lol doubleday... yep. just what the man sayz
EZ English never had 50M sh - according to their PR guy yesterday. EZ English held longterm debt of $2m. He said that they did convert some debt in 2011, but not enough for that many shares.
I like the sentiment. Yes... it does appear that we've hit the basis price for this issue.
I increased some sh on GDGI, but yeah - I think folks are holding now.
I still say in GDGI's case - sales is king. I'll gamble to see them through - the is a better bet than sitting on the sidelines with a EFT... lol
Boatload better shape than a lot of pennies I see out here. How the heck does a small company hope to raise capital? Keep your eye on the ball - if they announce more sales deals like before, then they could convert 4mil in debt and still retain plenty of value. Heck... next stop could be full reporting or acquisition.
So, it's a debt wrap conversion - therefore they owed the money to somebody else. But still - if sales are up, as much as they appear to be and if volume holds up, then this sh could hold higher values. Not rocket science - seems pretty basic.
