Thanks for that insight, JB. At the end of the day, would you see any advantage in buying ivn.to v ivpaf over here on the American side? Better liquidity? Or Machts nicht?
Thanks for single-handedly rescuing the price yesterday. Anyone want to step up to the plate today? Do I hear 1.85 for 50K? Come on, this is going to my favorite charity.
A 50K sale went through at 2:15 or so. Then the stock stabilized with a small, almost imperceptible up tick the last hour and a half. Click the graph above and expand to 1 day view and you can see the action better. IMO, we will be ok tomorrow. I would be more concerned about a hard drop into the close.
I did a google 24 hr search and see nothing bad out there in the public arena. I think ivpaf was hitting the stops for those with trading shares (maybe including TT with that 50K!)and it began to cascade down, hitting others stops. Down $20K last few days. Ivanhoe giveth, and Ivanhoe taketh away.
Fair question. Volume is higher than average. Would not concern me at all if volume were low. Any revolutions going on today in host country?
I don't get the negative market response. PEA looked great to me. Thoughts?
$10. I'd take that, although I need $25 for a cool mil.
Click on the link, then click "View More", then click "Copper" and you'll see chart for the past year.
Copper prices continue month long climb:

Nice analogies. If Ivanhoe will give me a 3" stack, I will be quite satisfied. No need to be greedy, hey mate?
Maple, believe me, I won't complain if that happens. I have given some thought to Trump's "Infrastructure" pledge. Depends whether it gets funded by Ryano, and in what form-- bridges, power grid (yum), air traffic control system, (more yum), rail lines, or highways. Also, I agree that continued upswing in hybrid and electric cars calls for more copper usage. Still, I see it as steady as she goes, with unknown slope of the line.
Yep, and, while price impact is minor, it is generating significant volume, which bodes very well for longer term price. This stock has been below the radar for too long. With the threat of regional politics out of the way, larger investors may come in. jmho.
Maple, I hope you are correct. However, my cloudy crystal ball says we may have to be a bit more patient. I see $3 by EOY '17, and your price target in 2018. What I do like is this is not a binary event like so many of the drug stocks I have wasted money on. It's just a waiting game here, when, not if. For big bucks, I can wait. I'm sure you agree with that part, if not the time table.
It is about $1.16 per pound. What I really liked rather than the spot price is the one year price trend line. Trending up past year.
AirAir,
Click on the link in my earlier post, roll to the bottom to the last chart, which is zinc. Click under the chart where it says "Zinc Prices."
I like the recent upturn, plus the great charts for all the other metals, of which Ivanhoe has some. Zinc thru da roof!
FYI, copper is $2.47# these days.

OT Errata: Podesta is married with kids and Chelsea's father strongly rumored to be Webb Hubble, not the unfortunate Vince Foster. See pictures on Net of Chelsea's real father. I don't like to rumor-monger, but even Hubble has not denied. Otherwise, mega-dittos.
OK, can I copyright "malians?" They are the ones married to femalians. Known to drink large quantities of beer while eating their pizza, or they live in Louisiana.
Speaking of metals, are you still in GDXJ or GLD? Prognosis, opinion? My investment here looking secure now. Tried to make a recruit at 1.60, but I don't think he listened.
As always, thanks for your research and insight. I'm hoping/betting about 40,000 times that your scenario plays out.
OK, but the money has to come from somewhere. I prefer an orderly development with minimal dilution. Granted I would be happy to see all three open and producing $$$. Ah, well, getting close to "5 O'clock Somewhere." Jimmy B was definitely on to something.
Well, that's embarrassing. I read through the recent PRs and can't find where I picked up that little factoid. My bad. I thought it was in connection with the Chinese payment, but no dice. Got to give up right now, but I'll continue to look later. Meantime, I hope someone better informed on their cash flow might chime in. Only hint in the OTC PR was that they would have greater access to liquidity, which may be a hint of future fund raising.
BTW, I had to pay 1.49, while HOD currently showing 1.47. So 15 minutes after my purchase, which is in about 4 minutes, you can all thank me for a 1.4% increase in your IVPAF holdings value!
Just sold AGEN and added 5K more here. I think the drop was due to a higher burn rate than anticipated. This more than countered the good news of the Chinese progress payment and the uplist to otcbx. Been waiting for this turnaround so I wouldn't be catching a falling knife. As for AGEN, despite recent good news with their input to GSK Shingle Virus, they, like all drugs have sucked big time in recent months. I think the drug market has been anticipating a HRC victory and intensifying price controls. Hope that doesn't happen, but I am increasing my position here to counter. May take a year or two, but this is not a binary event like most drugs. It's up only, question being when.
Try the Caymans. They run with the precision of a Swiss watch. They expect you to bring money, no problem long term for a big Ivanhoe holder.
I infer from your analogy that you are a bachelor. Or it's 5 O'clock somewhere! I usually wait until a chronological 5 PM. If this shoots up a dollar someday, I'll start on the spot.
Did same, Maple. Added 10K. Be careful about averaging up too much. If a stock turns for some reason, averaging up turns out ugly. Not expecting that, but nothing defies the law of gravity forever.
Bad bet imho. Unless you are trying to make a few pennies day trading. Why would you short now? This will rise over next couple of days. It's your money.
Back in for 3K @ 3.01. Thanks for the gift. MJFF will get behind this big time. Mikey wants a cure. This will take 1-2 years to matriculate. The pony in the manure pile was Parkinson's, not Alzheimers. I no longer have my large position, having sold 13K @ $5, but this is going well north of that over the next twelve months. May add some when the dust settles. Congrats to all long suffering longs who held through the July debacle. Your patience is being rewarded.
I had been gut-feeling the same thing, but held 10K. To bad for us and sad day for SCD patients.
$D$o$u$b$l$e$ $D$i$g$i$t$s$ sounds nice, but I wouldn't want to get fixated on mammon now, would I?$$
Darn Chinese. I'll take $10/sh,Xie Xie ni!
They should speak to the Gates Foundation about clean water for Africa.
So, will INO1800 go into the same file as VGX3100? I say that because both are years away. In an unexpected turn over the past year, the greatest value here seems to be Zika vaccine, which is moving fast. Forget Ebola and all the other claims for the moment. Any success with Zika will drive the SP through the roof. That's why the market is barely blinking with the Roche sayonara.
Derx, I have quite a few shares of nmkt. Have been in since .12. As soon as CEO gets his acquisitions pulled together, pps should do very well. I think the company and the CEO are on the level, just hard to pull together a bunch of acquisitions and get to a profit. My guess is earnings will surprise on the upside this Q. Usually files close to the end of the period, so around the 15th. How 'bout that Zip Code changer CPTC?
