ELIN-eLinear, Inc. Subsidiary Enters into Contract with a $100 Million Purchasing Cooperative
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 15, 2003--eLinear, Inc. (OTCBB: ELIN) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, NetView Technologies, Inc., has been awarded a contract by The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN). TCPN is a cooperative purchasing program that is available for use by all public and private schools, colleges, universities, cities, counties and other government entities in the State of Texas and currently has in excess of 800 entities in its network.
Kevan Casey, CEO of eLinear, Inc., stated, "This is a tremendous win for our company and I believe this contract will add substantial revenue and allow us access to many institutions that we previously would not have been able to reach. This contract allows us to obtain project orders with these government entities by bypassing the required bidding process, which is a tremendous advantage in obtaining this new business."
eLinear recently announced the acquisition of NewBridge Technologies, Inc., a provider of communications deployment. NewBridge is a digital provider of voice, data, video and security services to residential and commercial developments. These services will be provided over a fiber or wireless infrastructure and NewBridge has projected revenue for fiscal 2003 of $1,100,000. eLinear has previously announced the landing of other projects with combined projected revenue in excess of $1,975,000.
About The Cooperative Purchasing Network
The Texas Cooperative Purchasing Network recently changed its name and is now operating as The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN). The name change was in large part prompted by the new partnership formed between TCPN and the Yavapai County Service Agency in Arizona. TCPN will be offering its contracts to school districts within the Yavapai County area in Arizona. As for a brief descriptive of the program: The Cooperative Purchasing Network is available for use by all public and private schools, colleges, universities, cities, counties and other government entities in the State of Texas. For more information about the TCPN program, please call toll-free 888-884-7695 or visit the TCPN web site at http://www.tcpn.org.

IBXG-Document Management System to Bring in Additional $600,000 for iBX Technologies
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 15, 2003--Due to higher-than-expected demand for its DocManager electronic medical document storage and management product, iBX Group, Inc. (OTCBB:IBXG), reported today that it expects an additional $600,000 in revenue from its iBX Technologies division during the next year. The product, which was developed in-house by iBX Technologies, has already been deployed, and a second round of distribution is currently in progress.
"DocManager has enormous appeal for healthcare providers who are looking to move toward a 'paperless' office," said David Blechman, Managing Director for iBX Technologies. "It can be used to securely store and manage a variety of text documents and images, and because it's Internet-based, it can be accessed from any Web-equipped work station. The system is easily customized to allow users to choose a variety of document retrieval methods, including a patient's name, an ID number or a filing date."
Developed in conjunction with iBX's MediCompliant Solutions and iBX Transcription Services divisions, DocManager is fully compliant with all current healthcare legislation, including the comprehensive patient privacy standards mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
"With the specialized expertise of MediCompliant Solutions and iBX Transcription Services available to us at iBX, we were able to design a product that meets the needs of a vast segment of the healthcare industry," Blechman said. "In addition, DocManager can be modified to suit the needs of several other industries, and has consumer applications, as well. We're currently talking to several affinity groups who are exploring the idea of offering an 'online safe deposit box' for their customers, where they could store scanned images of important documents such as wills and insurance contracts."
Based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, iBX Group Inc. develops and deploys creative, cost-effective methods for integrating financial, administrative and information services for the healthcare industry. iBX is a results-oriented company, consisting of five divisions - iBX Technologies, which enables healthcare organizations to maximize their accounts receivables; Florida HealthSource, a network of physical therapy and wellness centers; MediCompliant Solutions, which ensures medical practices' compliance with today's complex legal requirements; iBX Transcription Services, which offers physicians quick turn-around and Web-accessible progress reports; NursesSTAT, a revolutionary temporary staffing solution. IBX also owns SportshealthNet.com and TheNetDigest.com, interactive Web portals providing patients with comprehensive healthcare information and advice, and increasing physician referrals.
