My take on all the info out there that I have read, is that the FDA and CDC want to see Ampligen approved for the treatment of CFS and the FDA is probably working with HEB to insure they have all the neccessary documents to approve ampligen.

Didn't HEB say they recently filed some paperwork on Confidentiality? Didn't that FDA guy say in case of fast drug status it was a matter of Confidentiality? Really makes you think, could be something, could be nothing.

Sounds to me like the FDA is going to approve ampligen for CFS. Do you remember a couple of months ago when the FDA raided that drug manufacturer because they failed to fix the problems that the FDA had cited them for? Could be the hold up really is the manufacturing plant in Washington, among other things. I can see the FDA not approving a new drug until the company brings its processing plants up to date and passes inspection. If they were going to not approve it, I think they would have done that by now.

I think that was the New Jersey facility. The Spokane facility still has a few bugs to work out, and aparently the FDA won't rule until these things are done. Carter didn't sound like it was a big deal. Of course to us it is because we are sitting here waiting, and waitng, and waiting.

Other people have stated they have called the FDA and inquired about Ampligen Approval. And I once owned a stock that had a new contract with a company and the investors called the new company so much they had to put out a PR to tell people to stop bothering the company they were doing business with.

So it does happen. BEing informed is what floats my boat.

It tells me that someone propably calls her everyday and asks about ampligen. LOL

The CC was to update investors on what the company was doing. People on this board had posted that they had been calling IR for news or updates so that is exactly what Dr. Carter did, Updated the investors. The CC was the appropriate place for this update and not a PR as there was nothing to put in a PR.

Speculators bought on the hopes that the CC would announce contracts or an FDA decision and that drove the price up and then down when they all got out. This sort of thing happens all the time in the stock market.

I'm still holding and waiting for the FDA to approve/dissaprove ampligen for CFS.
