anybody post on the optionmillionaires board?
if you are on the mail list you see that lero has a new system, he is on the other board.
zach, any good option traders on the boards?
cnbc just said all the gains from quey two are gone...
..well...so much for that call...
tue 8/2 he called the turn coming on the y! spy board
cpqno, what do you make of leroys posts over at the Y! mb? looks like he is using several points to make the case for a short term long trade on SPY using the weekly call options?
looks like leroy turned short term bullish on SPY, from his posts on Y! mb.
i think he is saying it could last for a couple of days. any body else have an interpretation of his posts?
webx, are you using rsi2 and the option calculator to make any trades? i guess we are on our own here. leroy is busy with the students and none of the students are giving up anything.
He did call the top in silver in a post on here, and on the SF board he called for a SPY top on May 27, which has been right so far.
His trading is very short term and quite complex, I am trying to find some simple way to use it.
for me the key seems to be is to use mo. wkly. and daily charts with a rsi2 indicator and go for short swings using near month options that cost about a $1. Using SPY, QQQ, IWM, GLD, SLV.
long calls when rsi2 is low, and long puts when rsi2 is high. hold for only several days or even less.
Anybody else have an idea?
Hey David, thanks for that link, i thought there was a post on here about his sub recs, but i cant find it. maybe IH deleted it. i think it was 500 bucks.
if anyone joined maybe they can chime in.
where is everybody?
right, i remember your post, good call. what do you see going forward? think the dust will settle on these margin increases?
re ""email today from lerogee says slv top on 4/25....""

email today from lerogee says slv top on 4/25....
nflx, moving up as we speak..

zack leaves and zand shows up????????????
div4133 aapl looks good now for a weekly bear call spread. i look for an entry on thu or fri, and get out by mon or tue.
re earnings trades
with apol at 42.40, i got apr 40p/45c strangle for 2.15.
small trade, just to test the water, most option volume at these strikes.
another point from the webinar i watched was that stocks with $1 strikes are best to trade.
mos reports on mar 30, but $5 strkes.
ninja 7,
earnings plays are something i am interested in, havent had much luck with them lately, but still looking for some basic approach, your study has revived my interest.
the free webinar that peter did, i thought had some good information. i have subscribed to some of his services in the past, but now i am just trying to do some things on my own.
if you google explosive profits you can find a link to peters cash flow heaven webinar about straddles and strangles, i think you would find it interesting, its 90 min long, its well done.
ninja 7,
good study,i have some comments based on some of my own experience and also from a free webinar given by peter shultz to promote his explosive profits service which uses straddles and strangles.
what was the initial cost of each trade? and what was the stock price at entry? peter talks of a trade off, strangles vs straddles, with initial cost advantage to strangles, but straddles can show a profit sooner. your study seems to demonstrate this.
he also stresses the importance of knowing the volatilty profiles, because vol crush will hurt these positions.
peter says best to use options with 3-6wks till expiry, what did you use?
he also recommends skewing the option selection if you have a directional bias. i see for wag and bby the 3mo trend was down, what if you went closer $ strikes for the puts and further out for the calls? jbl, was just chop all over, hard pressed to make a directional call.
