Hey all,
Been sitting here reading, nice to see all in a good mood, its a good feeling.
MMTE is going to produce big in the near future IMO. This stock is going to be the runner forever for me, this one, my kids will be working when Im gone. Meaning once MMTE gets going theres no turning back, WL means bussiness and thats exactly what hes doing and going to do for a long time, which is why Im sitting long.
Lithium is used for alot of diffrent things, not just going to be the new fuel, its used in a lot of things for power, in drugs ECT. and there finding more things to use it with. When this takes off I hope you all think the way Im thinking about this stock and put on the back burner and just let it grow. If this thing goes well, MMTE will hold her grown for a long time making everybody confortable, hope everyone realizes when they have come across a good thing, and dont bite the hand that feeds ya. Stay long, let WL and MMTE do there thing and in the near future you may not need to ever invest again. (Just loving MMTE)
Yea I seen that, maybe WL should investigate. Im sure MMTE will take off soon just a matter how WL approaches it and time, eighter way MMTE's going to gooo, he just aquired the land and thats all we know so far we may get news this week IMO. For all we know he could be in the mists of the same process as Pan American was and we will be where PA is now, sooner than we think:^)
A little idea of where MMTE might be heading. This is another company that is playing around with Litium, check the PPs on it. We will be there soon IMO. This was dated June 10th.
Lithium miner hits new 52-week hi on Chile prospect
By Alan Fein
(AXcess News) New York - Pan American Lithium Corp. (TSX.V: PL; OTC: PALTF) reached a new 52-week hi of $0.78 Friday after saying its survey was underway in Chile at its Laguna Verde project. The company indicated that it expected to release those results during the first quarter.
The Byron Capital Markets Lithium Index had closed up 0.03 at 1.19 Friday, whose direction supports the market's thirst for lithium stocks in general and though Pan American Lithium is not part of the Index currently, investors have been eyeing the company ever since it announced a deal with Korean-based POSCO (NYSE: PKX), the world's 4th-largest steel maker, which signed a letter of understanding in January to invest in Pan American's Mexico lithium brine project pending the outcome of its due diligence on the project. The deal was extended until April to give PKX time to complete its feasibility.
Investor interest has grown steadily in lithium mining ever since the election of Sebastian Pinera in Chile. In a January 28th story, AXcess News noted that the mineral-rich South American nation is seen as being more proactive towards foreign mining concerns - especially smaller companies - since Pinera's presidential upset.
Pan American Lithium's Cierro Prieto project in Mexico requires an outlay of millions to acquire control, though its option places the lithium miner in a strategic position. Yet in Chile, PL's Laguna Verde project is 100%-owned, making its value a potentially higher return for investors. Chile is also home to the largest lithium producer in the world, SQM, which according Byron Capital Market's Jon Hykawy PhD. MBA produces between 35 to 37% of global demand.
Hykawy is the author of a report on Lithium which was issued in September, 2009. In a telephone interview Monday, Dr. Hykawy said, "brines are always the cheapest way to go" in producing lithium compared to clay-based production.
In the investment bank's report on Lithium, Dr. Hykawy notes that "Lithium has arisen from nothing to represent the great hope for electrification of the light vehicle fleet. And this is not an unsubstantiated hope."
Dr. Hykawy told AXcess News that lithium is considered a "vital metal", yet there is no exchange-traded market. "That could change in time, "Hykawy admitted.
Dr. Hykawy said the investment bank would be updating its Report in mid-April, about the same time as Pan American Lithium is set to release its Laguna Verde brine survey results.
Okoil, Finally a positive statement, dont mean to afend my friend but its good to hear you support MMTE, thank You. I know you been with MMTE for a long time and have quite a few shares, but in the past you always sounded negative. I love the other side bud. Maybe I just took your past statements the wrong way, I appolgise for this. But I like the Tea Cup observation. GLTA Go MMTE
According to the trend, should go and stay up. MMTE has a very good up trend in place she will stop here and continue her up trend to another level. Look back about 6 mounths. Its continues up, IMO.
I miss buying more at close, will be there first thing in the morning Monday, we have a lot of making up to do, the stock and board IMO. It was a crazy week lets put it all behind us and pull together and get MMTE rolling in the right direction. GLTYA Cant wait to get more, dam...
That triangle is our BALL PARK
If electric vehicles become as popular as expected, China will not be able to solely depend on domestic sources of lithium. As it has done in other sectors such as oil and copper, China will have to look outbound. Over the coming years, we believe that Chinese firms will make acquisitions overseas to secure lithium reserves. And the most attractive location is South America’s “lithium triangle,” an area that covers roughly 43,000 kilometers between Argentina, Bolivia and Chile.
Instead of bickering why dont everyone do some DD. I remember someone saying something about Mishubishi being a litium battery maker, and that there may be a chance for MMTE to hook up with them, or was this speculation/dreaming. Well anyhoot check out this artical with two large companies collobrerating. Amagain if MMTE got involved? We be sitting pretty for the rest of our lives. Someone send this to WL.
Mitsubishi Developing Lithium Batteries With Toshiba, But For What?
· Zach McDonald · 48 weeks ago
On Friday, we first heard of a battery development and manufacturing deal between Mitsubishi and Toshiba. Today, we learn that the two companies have actually been collaborating for more than a year, working to bring Toshiba's Super Charge Ion Battery (or SCiB) to electric vehicles.
But Toshiba won't be Mitsubishi's exclusive battery supplier (or even its largest,) nor will Mitsubishi be Toshiba's only automotive client. Mitsu's i-MiEV, which we recently learned will sell for just $22,000 by 2012, relies on batteries from GS Yuasa Corp. For its part, Toshiba will also be selling its SCiB to Honda and has a development deal already in place with Volkswagen.
So what will Mitsubishi use the SCiB batteries for? The company reportedly has five electric vehicles in development including a commercial fleet vehicle, a plug-in hybrid SUV called the PX-MiEV, and a full-size electric. Details on these vehicles are sparse, but the carmaker says it plans to derive 20 percent of its total sales from hybrids and EVs by 2020.
SCiB technology benefits from a new anode material (developed by Toshiba,) as well as a new electrolyte. According to the electronics giant, the battery is safer, more durable, charges faster and has a longer lifespan—it will also have multiple applications outside of the EV market.
Down a bit, still holding waiting for something to break. Havent e-mail Dustin in a while, wounder whats going on, usally he posts something every week, its been over that hasnt it? Maybe something big is happening or their working on the quarterly Financials, which should jack this puppy up some. IMO
What exactly does all this mean?
Intresting artical about the five top Litium companies. Check it out.

Maybe this will help, this is an educational piece I found for you to review, NOTE: you will not find any of this happening here, MMTE is the real thing or I wouldnt be here. I just wanted to try to help you out. Got it from Investopidia. They have alot of this stuff for review.
Short selling is an effective trading strategy that can be employed to hedge the risk of a loss on an off-setting position or to speculate on an equity's price movement. In essence, short selling entails selling a stock that you do not own. An investor does this by borrowing the stock and immediately selling it in the market. If the price of the stock goes down, the investor makes a profit by purchasing the shares and delivering them to the individual from which they initially borrowed them. The profit arises from the difference between the stock's price at the time it was borrowed and the price at which it was subsequently purchased.
In regards to pink sheet and over-the-counter (OTC) listed securities, short selling is allowed. An OTC security is one that is not traded on a formal exchange such as the New York Stock Exchange or the American Stock Exchange. OTC securities are often quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). Pink sheet securities are very similar to OTC securities in that they are not listed on exchanges, but are quoted on a daily publication issued by the National Quotation Bureau. However, pink sheet securities carry much more risk because they do not require the companies to register with the SEC or stay current in their financial statements.
Although short selling is allowed on these securities, it is not without its problems. Short selling on OTC is extremely risky because these securities are often very thinly traded, which makes them very illiquid. This illiquidity can prove hazardous if an investor needs to cover an increasingly unprofitable short position. If the volume is very low, covering the position may become a very unlikely prospect. Another problem that has arisen with short selling in OTC securities is the use of pump and dump schemes. These schemes are done by con artists who use internet message boards and SPAM emails to heavily promote a thinly traded stock in which they have long positions. When this happens, the result is often a high spike in the price of the stock, followed by a fall. However, the initial spike will devastate any investor with a short position. These schemes often use OTC stocks because they are relatively unknown when compared to exchange traded stocks.
I know everything I need to know, Im long and plan on staying long. Plan on buying some more asap too. MMTE is whats going on right now in pinky land and if they miss the boat so be it. GO MMTE GLTYA

Mammoth Energy Group Comments on Launch of Lithium ETF
LIT Has Topped $20 Million in Assets and Regularly Sees Daily Trading Volumes North of a Million Shares
NEW YORK, NY, Aug 23, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Mammoth Energy Group Inc. (PINKSHEETS: MMTE) announced today that the new Lithium ETF, sponsored by Global X, already a fast-growing exchange traded fund (ETF) provider, has made its biggest impression on the market yet by offering a lithium ETF. It's the first product that gives investors a way to get exposure to this rare but increasingly popular metal.
The fund itself is about evenly split between lithium producers and battery producers, with the heaviest weights given to the lithium industry's largest producers, who make up 44% of the fund's assets. The United States is the largest country weighting at 49%. Chile, the world's largest producer of lithium, is 20% of the fund. Japan, Canada, France and Australia all have smaller weightings.
"We expect Global X and the ETF Lithium fund to take serious notice as the development of the Salar de Maricunga moves forward," said William Lieberman, President of Mammoth Energy Group.
Mammoth Energy Group has signed a Letter of Intent to acquire 49% of Salt Gold Inter Chile Limitada and a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire the remaining shares. Salt Gold Inter Chile Limitada lithium concessions are located in the North West region of Chile in the heart of the Lithium belt stretching across Bolivia, Chile and Argentina. Initial test wells have confirmed average brine concentrations with grades of 650 ppm (parts per million) for lithium and 9500 ppm for potassium. These results confirm a significant third dimension to surface brines sampled on the project. The brine chemistry in the first test wells compares favorably to other Lithium companies in the region including the large multi-national Lithium producers whose estimates in the Atacama and throughout the region average 500 to 750 ppm lithium and 9000-10000 ppm for potassium
