Dedicated to Quality
As farmers ourselves, we understand the challenges of industrial hemp farmers — the hardworking people who are growing hemp for the first, second, or third years. We are USDA-certified organic growers and organic jam manufacturers in Palisade, Colorado. With the purchase of apricot, peach, and plum orchards in 1998, we began by selling fruit at farmer’s markets. In 2002, we transitioned to operating year-round when we constructed a commercial kitchen and developed an extensive organic jam line.
Our emphasis has always been to use quality ingredients to produce quality products. Within five years, our jams were winning international awards at the annual Specialty Food Show in New York City. Our jam line —“Colorado Mountain Jam”— has been a six-time Silver finalist at this show, and two of our jams have won Gold awards as the “Outstanding USDA Certified Organic Product”. Today we do private label production for leading brands in America as well as production for many Western Slope growers.
This past spring a company approached us to produce a CBD oil-infused jam line. We saw this as an amazing opportunity to become involved in a new venture that would be a natural extension of what we were already doing. Once again, we viewed it as a means of supporting other growers.
We planted a small industrial hemp crop this summer, overcame some expected and unexpected hurdles along the way, and count ourselves fortunate today to have harvested a successful grow. We learned a lot about growing hemp. And we made the giant leap into establishing a CBD hemp extraction facility that is once again dedicated to quality.
Our Commitment
We also learned that virtually no solid information is available to aid growers in making decisions about where and how to process their material and gain the most value from it. Generally speaking, farmers assume all the risk, and rarely are they sufficiently rewarded for their investment. Consequently, we are committed to working closely as partners with growers to meet their CBD hemp extraction needs for a fair and reasonable cost—to enable them to maximize their return on their hard-earned investment.

Sweet! Let’s finish with some encouraging local news...
https://www.spokeandblossom.com/stories/2018/5/30/societal-acceptance-entrepreneurs-are-growing-western-slope-hemp
Rick Trojan, a Colorado hemp entrepreneur and vice president of the Hemp Industries Association, thinks processing is a bottleneck for Western Slope hemp growers. “Though there are things happening,” he adds. “By the fall, I think we’ll have enough material, seeds, and CBD facilities to take care of the acreage we expect.”
MacKenzie calls hemp “a great crop” for the Western Slope. “We have 400,000 acres of agricultural land and we’re seeing places like Mesa, Delta, and Montrose counties start to see economic benefits, and they’re offering start-up help. I think it’s only going to grow.”
congrats, great buy on your part

to me
Thank you (xxxx) It is true that I am not a part of the company but the
company that has taken over hopefully has the resources to get past the SEC
issues we discovered existed while doing our due diligence with a funding
entity; I no longer could fund the attorneys and CPA's on my own.
Kind regards,
John
Actually several here reported getting the same response from John Ohlin a few months ago. I can post my response from John later when l get home from work.
Anyone sniff out any news or rumors yet? I'd think the new company must be getting their ducks in order.
That Specal Forces operations contract is worth $8 Billion.
I'm wondering if this new buyer may be the three or four investors that were going to merge with John originally? It sounded like they had funding in place at that time and they had "symbiotic" technology to bring to market.
My email from the former ceo yesterday said essentially the same thing.

GRASS VALLEY, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 6, 2016) - Grid Petroleum Corp. CEO, stated, "Our Company has had several onsite meetings with Jon Gregory of the ERC regarding relocating our facilities to their new 'Digital Media Center'. We have agreed to the space requirements and lease details and will finalize the lease agreement in the next few weeks."
In a published article released by the ERC, it stated "The Nevada County Economic Resource Council, also known as the ERC, recently launched an American Digital Media Leadership Campus task force to serve as a hub for emerging and existing companies focused on video technology in the county."
You can read the article at http://www.theunion.com/news/13032755-113/erc-gregory-video-force
While continuing to sell our existing Broadcast products, the new relationship with the ERC allows us to capitalize on our new product designs in the augmented/virtual reality industry.
While the task force is in the beginning stages of development, the ERC is currently looking to find a site to house the initiative’s campus, which Gregory says will possess world-class video-centric programs, video collaboration labs, training labs, and technology-rich office space.
“The notion of this physical leadership academy provides visibility and ability to connect with various universities that have an interest in driving students into that career path,” Gregory said.
“It provides an opportunity to incubate new start-ups, and it provides us with a location to attract companies that are most compatible with Nevada County’s lifestyle, who are in that industry.”
Gregory said the ERC also view the potential space as lab and partnership space to collaborate with leaders in the industry. he initiative’s task force met two weeks ago as the first step in what Gregory said will be a multi-year process. “You might say that it represents our ‘secret weapon’ in the coming war on jobs,” Gregory said.

I like the new market direction:
On March 9, 2016, the Company entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement wherein, it purchased a certain Broadcast and Media IP, along with the “know how” of the IP. The IP allows for both virtual and augmented reality applications and the Company believes that the change of name to Simlatus Corporation will more accurately describe the business the Company is engaged.
