Hi guys, I am new here... found FCO to be an interesting investment. Can someone tell me in short what happened to the share price... dropping from it`s high almost 60 percent... are there managment or environmental issues or was the equity financing just not bearable for some investores, or bad PR? Right now FCO seems to be worthy for my portfolio... Have a nice weekend
If GWG managment does not announce some news today the share price will drop back to the 60`s again... I thought the were only waiting for the permission from the nuclear commission and all the other contracts were pending almost ready for signing... they were already in discussion with contractors before that. What are they waiting for...? My only guess why it takes so long is maybe they figure out a way to list on a bigger exchange and wheighing up a reverse split.
Does anybody know how long it takes to implement a RS and a listing on another exchange? Days, weeks or perhaps months?
do you believe the infamous "the strategist" sparked the sell off on monday? nobody will know I just hope that they finally do something... at least it was a buying opportunity
I guess he had to say that or GWG would have dropped even more... no real news in my view... I need to see action no talking...
The i-message with the "live" chart and some important info and graphics was way better... now it just looks plain and without any significance...
wow... that hurts... of all the rare earth stocks I watch GWG is down the most...
I hope... downturns are opportunities and a good time to load up and make bargains... like AMY
I got burned too by such an advise... anyways if GWG goes above 0.9 again I`ll sell down to my core position
Why did you buy in in the 90`s when you think GWG needs a few year to get way above 1.10? I`m in GWG for quite some time and I was stupid not to take profites above 1.10 ... profit at .92 was still good
Can you send the link to the report you are talking about?
John Kaiser on BNN Commodities : March 9, 2011 : Rare Earths
Kaiser SOB
He didn`t lalk about GWG but read between the line... calling the Steenkampskraal mine a bat cave in his report... dissing small caps with "small deposits"... which hopefully GWG can prove wrong..
He`s talking about processing capabilities and heavy rare earths... and overlooking GWG or badmouthing it... oh co`mon
I officially declare if Kaiser caught fire I wouldn't piss on him to put him out! (excuse my french)
and again bouncing of the 50 Day MA...
need mo`moneyyy, hope it`ll stay down for a week then my buying frenzy continues...
lucky you... I got my 10k at .72 wished I bought at .67
thought about it and grabbed some more shares
is the 0.7 a good support due to the private placement? cuz the 50 day MA is still at 0.5 and if there`s a pullback in the market what do you think is more likely 0.7 or 50dayMA support?
but why in 5000 to 6000 increments? and not more subtle like 3500, 4500,4000,5000,3500 etc... and with different bids .75 .77 anyways small cap fund aren`t allowed to buy in under a 100million market cap or are there any exceptions?
all... actually they don`t mine it yet...
We should put the pink sheets MLYFF and TSX:MOR together in one forum... the US-listed one is not that much traded anyways
Larry referred to the use of selenium in electrolytic manganese production, which is common in china but has major disadvantages:
1. The selenium contamination of electrolytic manganese results in a product with a metal purity of 99.7% Mn, whereas selenium free manganese has a metal purity of 99.9% Mn. The selenium content in manganese metal produced using the selenium technology can be as high as 0.15%.
2. Elemental selenium is practically non-toxic and is considered to be an essential trace element; however, hydrogen selenide and other selenium compounds are extremely toxic, and resemble arsenic in their physiological reactions. Hydrogen selenide in a concentration of 1.5 ppm (parts per million) is intolerable to man, and exposure can result in irritation of the respiratory tract, skin or eyes. Repeated or prolonged exposure has been reported to cause a metallic taste in the mouth, a garlic odour of the breath and sweat, bronchial and nasopharyngeal irritation, pallor, coated tongue, nervousness, depression, fatigue and gastrointestinal disturbances.
all you need to know about...
something interesting for future demand of magnesium
future demand
somebody should print that chart on a frontpage smack in the face of Kaiser and Fulp
what about uncertainty in price for light and heavy rare earths? I think the heavy`s might get more valuable but the light ones will drop in price if MCP and Lynas go into production... and China will loosen there export quotas on the light REE not on the heavy`s
heads up for you calculation
Where will the stock go from here? It`s channeling down... lower highs and lower lows...but with low volume... is there another support except the 50 day MA here? Or will it zig zag between 1,35 and 1,55? A
yeah you`re right... mainstream exposure is good. I am just a bit moody cuz I don`t like how GWGs handles there deals with all these Options and warrents and don`t forget there PR-deals (overpriced)... sometimes I can`t see the benefit for us shareholders.
On the other side I think GWG has big advantages, especially when they follow through on all their plans. I guess the biggest hurdle is the financing and construction of the separation plant...
... and maybe we are in for a big surprise after further drilling on the property... if they can upgrade the resource estimate the stock value will get a boost...
it is wierd... in the media they think hugh deposits (MCP, LYN) makes the companies more valuable but what is with profitability?
good post by the way
good call tiesto... c’mon GoldMinejunior just let it be... what do you care what other people think when you don`t know them... Why do you get offended so easily? We should treat each other with respect and if you don`t get it... think twice before you f... with the moderator of the forum (I am for freedom of speech, deleting messages isn`t always a good idea but in this forum we should focus on the stock not on meaningless and unnecessary confrontations)
back to the subject... AMY`s CFO excercised some stock options... any thought on that?...
that won`t make a big impact... in these times good news for GWG doesn`t turn into higher stock price and news concerning stock dilution or option agreements backfire... I guess we have to wait 2-3 month until we see improvement
by the way ... i would like to have a life in which i can afford a grocery bill of 8000+ USD hahaha
yeah, nothing to worry about... insider selling has many reasons... insider buying only one... the insiders will have enough options and warrents to make em filthy rich anyways...
China is producing 7/8 of world supply... Northern America has only one magnesium company... with higher demand (light alloys for cars etc and new technologies...batteries etc, ) magnesium will be a commodity with very positiv demand fundamentals... china will use more and more of it`s on production... but we should wait if the prefeasability study is positiv and the deposit economical...
I guess the future value in this company will be magnesium and manganese. Larry Reaugh considers a name change and a new concept for the company if the magnesium story works out...
canadianinsider
... to hold the stock down for more insider buying maybe?
Insider selling is holding the stock back...
insert-text-here
Why are most Rare earth stock in the green and our dear old GWG is in the red again...? they should focus on one thing and forget all these option agreements... damn
Thank you for the reply... I will look into it
For a newbie like me... what is your analysis? So many graphics and so much data... what are your favourite indicators and what do they tell us? (I`m no technical guy, sorry) thx
Damn... I`ll get my next paycheck end of next week... I wished I could put the money into AMY stock right now... arghhhhhhhhhhh
I guess after next weeks SME Mining Conference the low .60s will be history... if the get the battery business working too, maybe a JV, that will push the stock way up... I heard that the special lithium manganese for batteries is 6x more valuable then their main product electrolytic manganese... can anybody confirm that?
