Total Volt U.S. sales as of April stands at 2,029 since launching in late 2010. Daniel Akerson's recent suggestion to tax gasoline another $1.00 per gallon to promote use of energy efficient vehicles. The mere fact that Volt sales have been dismal, these remarks appear to be directed at boosting sales here. One dollar per gallon means at least $25.00 more to fill my Silverado per fill up. Money going into the Government's ever wise and frugal hands.
I simply question why should I hold onto GM shares if you have a leader who appears to be shooting ME in the foot. A dollar tax in gas in NOT going to make me want to purchase a Volt or Leaf or twig or whatever. It's going to encourage me to sell my Silverado and other GM vehicles and buy motorcycle.
As far as being carbon neutral, you may see this with the Volt as well as their factories as WHY would someone even consider taxing the very item that is the life blood for their entire line of products.
One certainly has to wonder. Six months of silence speaks volumes. A simple courtesy would be to at least throw a bone to investors every now and then. Lies would be better than this silence. Anything.
These investors have a better chance of hitting the jackpot on a scratch off lottery ticket than seeing a profit here.
The Magshoe Shuffle... I like that!!
I believe the approach to the Magshoe has been all wrong. Rather than marketing to TSA and airport security, Goldberg simply needs to take the device on one of the many home shopping channels on TV. These people can sell ice cubes to polar bears so why not the Magshoe?? Perfect for those home parties or kegers. Dance clubs and bars should all be interested. Court houses, frat houses, massage parlors. Every high school should have one of these at the doors. Just think of the possibilities this would open. Maybe they can offer an easy pay plan or free delivery. Buy one, get the second free (just pay seperate shipping and handling charges please)with a secrete bonus. TSA may not be interested, but I'm sure others might be. Sloow and steady.
I believe this perpetual silence speaks volumes. Perhaps they do not want to tip their hand with the new and improved chemical weapons detection add on.
How this generates any volume at all is a mystery. I too would like to see this pumped so I can dump shares at a smaller loss but this would only screw someone else over. May just need to jump on this grenade to prevent damage to others. I'm looking forward to the July 1 TSA due date so I can simply move on and heal my wounds. Slow and steady.. or is that slow and low.. go idoi yeah!
With the progressive development of MMTE, much of the speculative pps hovers in the lower penny range. With a real product and a solid global demand for Lithium, what would keep this from venturing into dollar land in the near future??
Or the one legged man in an a** kicking contest....
Well said.
Yeah!! 3 units down. 4000 to go. Sloooow and steady.
Holding onto these shares because I can't sell them! GO IDOI!!!
A very civil and informative board. Appreciate all the information!!
Perhaps I'm missing something here but if the value of a company declines substantially, the stocks respectively follow. If that stock perpetually sits at .0001 and the company does little or nothing to rectify the situation, the stock fails to move, people refuse to invest and the company can do nothing but fail. Nothing moves, the stocks, the inventory investor's bowels...nothing. How does one generate value out of something like this. Not bashing IDOI, but I always see investing as a mutual venture. Silence for months least to wild speculation and vivid thoughts. How about a bone now and then... Anything.. anything..
Duty Now for the Future!! HooRah!!! Are we not men??
Before tanking and filing Chapter 11, I made a few bucks on GM stocks. Even through their mismanagement and union headaches, they had a real product that people actually wanted and actually spent money on.. the folding kind...They were deep in the red with little hope of ever successfully recovering without help.. but they had a product, they advertised and they were at least out there.
The utility closet IDOI operates out of seems to be locked and the masking tape sign on the door fell off months ago. Milton Tonic is spot on with his last post. I personally believe they no longer have to money to pay for a PR pump and it's taking place here. If you were to adhere to the footer on your posts, #2 and #3 alone would make most people run. I still hold a ton of shares of IDOI, but after weeks of try to unsuccessfully dump them, I've decided to go down with the ship. I don't have much faith in the "pump". IMHO!
Curious if you gave IDOI a call to get the hot poop right from the horses mouth. Not sure if the janitor's closet is set up with a phone but I'd be interested to hear how your conversation went. The 'fishy" opposing factors, in my opinion, is IDOI as the Captain of a sinking ship baling water with a dixie cup is doing more that what we see here. Perhaps you meant a fifth of Bourbon in a bag as this is what we really need to help us forget. Maybe two.
There's at least winners with the lottery.
Perhaps it's more like the Bears recent NFL draft... do nothing... get nothing...
FLATLINE!!!
Crash cart STAT!!
200 joules!!!
CLEAR!!!!!
nothing...
AGAIN.. CLEAR....
nothing...
300j.... CLEAR!!!!

Some of us are stuck on IDOI Island
with the same chance of kindly and graciously selling our shares with a touch of civility (as I raise my pinky in the air) as the professor can contact Honolulu with a coconut radio.
A Great Stock
simply due to the fact I'm trying to be positive and not be reprimanded for any negativity. But in all fairness, what possible positive spin can one honestly place here. The increased demand for any product or service would dictate growth, or at least sustainability. The latest news is months old. No signs of sales, no marketing that I've seen. I think I'd be a little more positive if we were thrown a bone now and then but silence forces us to run varying scenarios through our minds. Good bad or indifferent. If someone can simply give me a valid reason to remain optimistic about IDOI, I'd truly appreciate it. It's difficult to believe in a company that appears to be dead in the water. And as far as breaking financially even in 2011 and making $$$ in 2012, please enlighten me. Instead of trying to sell my 800k shares, I'll happily buy more.
Go IDOI. Great stock. Slow and steady.
What motivates an investor to buy into a company is the direction of that company. Progress, innovation, communication, motivation, sound or even marginal financial statement would promote buying or considering stocks, even pinks. I find the posts here to be informative but they are by far the most entertaining of all that I follow, but absolutely no opinions here would encourage me to buy or sell regardless of how rosy or dim a picture is painted.
BUYING WHAT???
Worthless stocks from a company that is not selling anything. No apparent vision. No direction. No real assets. Huge debt. "Ten" employees. Questionable product with no apparent demand in the real world with how many total unit sales??? Pleas please please just give me one valid reason why one should buy more of this mess. Just try selling some of your shares. Let me know if you succeed. Really. I'd have better luck with a lottery ticket. At least there's a glimmer of hope and a sliver of a chance with it.
What makes you think
TSA gives a flying flip about time management. Have you flown lately?? TSA is patting down old ladies and children. The airlines have a schedule to keep. TSA doesn't. Scanning shoes has been going on for years and will most likely continue to do so.
Slow and Stead is Great
if one can unload this pile of rubbish. It can go up one thousand percent, but who's buying???
A Future Stock
Would suggest a company provides a viable product or service that would eventually generate revenue through sales and increased interest secondary to the success of those products or services would result in growth. I'm not sure how one can place a positive spin on any of this mess. No sales that I can find, poor communication, no growth despite 10 employees. If there was even a few true sales, I could understand a trickle of light at the end of the tunnel. Holding long with this stock is a pure mystery to me as all I see in that tunnel is darkness without a glimmer. Something positive to say??? Well, I've been trying to dump this stock for a few weeks now but with no luck so I guess I'm Holding Long as well and I see this stock shooting up exponentially on the back of unicorns along the rainbow highway. Yes.
Impending Feelings of DOOM
should have been the title of this report. Or simply Impending Doom. We stockholders are certainly doomed.
Is that slow and steady
in a downward fashion???
What am I missing here???
No news for months. No sales of the one product they produce that I can find. Debt up the wazoo. Seriously, what is there to get excited about??
