I'll give him some credit for tenacity. I'm imaging it's kind of like working with the IRS on steroids.
Hello ladinab... read about half way down the PR. Punch in HON and you see the same thing.

I'm just glad to hear something... so I'm sharing the reply from my questions I had earlier today. I'm feeling the hope (I think) but not sure if it will last.

Hi WC,
Here’s a response to your two emails:
Per the press release, we are not going to sell iPackets’ assets to SWS (per the initial agreement). With the several approvals we’ve received and the business opportunities, we’re better off looking for other strategic partners/opportunities that would enhance shareholder value.
iPackets still trades on the grey sheet, and has been for a while. One of our objectives in 2009 is to upgrade the listing of iPackets from the grey sheet to a higher listing. This would take sometime to implement.
You continue to be an iPackets shareholder and nothing changes.
Hope this helps.
Naiel
I thought iPackets was attempting to sell assets, not buying. I'm confused!
Kanno returned a call to me earlier today. I was leaving a meeting... just pulling out of a parking spot at the time so had no questions or computer in front of me. I did not take notes during it so this is the gist.
I asked him if the products on IPackets website were the same as those on SWS's website. Yes... SWS has a brand agreement so the products are ours and the packaging is slightly different. I do not know if they are selling much... but if and what they do sell has to be approved by the health & safety whatevers first. Not sure where things are with the approval process, aside from the notice of Virginia which was posted on SWS. There is not much competition out there, and did not sound like they were obsolete yet... did sound like limited approval area still.
I asked about IPKL being on the grey market and it sounds like there has been no energy put into changing that.
Bottom line - he has not determined closure on any asset sales to SWS nor has he determined cancellation of those plans.
I'm not sure what he is doing... but this is what's not happening.
I'm sure I could have asked better questions if I had been a bit more prepared.
wc
I actually got Kanno on the phone about an two hours ago. He sounded surprised it was a shareholder with a question. Anyway, no change from a few months ago when campioni visited him... except the couple months time frame is more like when/if ever. He said he is still planning on the divy and the delay is out of his control... so I guess it's all SWS's doing or not doing. Of course, as we know they are not talking either.
wc
mary - that's way unfair. my 4.78M share are still there w/$478 value. I have a margin account with them, if that makes any difference. They have not liquidated my 1 lonely share of CPPD worth 10 cents... or my 37 share of some restricted something or other I got somehow some several years ago. They mess with my stuff I'll close my account too, including my credit card.
WOW... green day. I hope that is a sign of things to come!
wc
thanks, campioni. It was good of you to make the trip and report back. I'm pleased you actually were able to talk to him.
wc
thanks campioni... I think he either couldn't make a go of it and is too ashamed to say so, or he's intentionally ripped us off. It would be nice to know which it is... he sure won't return my calls, and apparently no one else either.
good luck,
wc
With all due respect, and there is little I may add, Kanno was happy to return my email giving him support when he first announced the asset sale. If he was honest then he would be honest now. Unfortunately, his current non-action and non-communication speak more true than he ever did, and your words can not undo or replace that. If he is not dishonest then he's a coward... or both.
If you haven't spoken to him in 2 years and you don't even remember when you sold then you are not a reliable resource for this board... IMO of course.
Please don't worry about my health... this is neither hate nor ulcer producing. Besides... if everyone gives him a pass, or others like him, things will never change. If I have the opportunity to the the thorn in his side I'll do it... and that's a promise.
I've emailed and called Kanno and Kevin Dickey many times, and only response I got recently was from Kevin which I posted some time ago. They then removed "the team" from the SWS website.
Kanno knows how to communicate to shareholders and he flat out does not give a hoot about any of us. I don't care how much money he's personally lost (if any), he as a duty to inform us.
This is from Kevin, who is apparently tired of being bothered too. This reply was after the extension to Feb 28th for decision on purchase of assets.
Dear _______,
Questions regarding iPackets International and Mr. Naiel Kanno need to be directed to Mr. Kanno for response. Mr. Kanno can be reached at nkanno@ipackets.com or 1-778-328-9005, thank you.
Best regards,
Kevin
What is the difference between the products on these two presentations? I'm no expert but the look very alike and I feel very ripped off.

Interesting... a response!
And just hours after my prior post. Is someone distancing himself? Maybe you can all call too.
Good Luck! wc

I guess someone is turning off the rest of the lights?
Email to Kanno and Dickey go unanswered.

anyone having better luck?
wc
Anyone... were there any thoughts about this part of the PR?
In addition, we are of the opinion that pending the Company's level of success and profitability in the near term, Blackout Media may be targeted for acquisition by a larger player in the E&M industry.
Is our what our valuation is for? IMO, near term is pretty much the same as soon or forthcoming... so it could be any day now. (jk)
tia,

Hey Art... I think I found them!
FWIW... I just got off the phone with Kevin Dickey, pres of SWS.
I told him folks were feeling very neglected and ignored. He said he understood. He said he'd email me some info later tonight or tomorrow about what's going on. Legalities will limit what he can say. It's likely the same message someone else got recently that they had requested an extension to Feb 28 to make final decisions on the LOI.
so.... we should hear something official near that time (maybe).
you are right, I misunderstood the original post. I realized that after I posted but was interrupted and couldn't correct.
However, estimating TFNG value off of BKMP PPS is not even close... its worth way much more.
please correct me if I'm wrong... Why are we dividing?
Valuation of TFNG is $2.9/0.154 = $18.83 Million
29B shares x $.0001 = $2.9M
15.4% of 2.9M = 2,900,000 x .154 = $446,600
Our 15.4% can not be more than the total market value as we all know. That being said, seems way undervalued to me.
Oxygen sold for $925M recently with 74 million subscribers. If we sold for half that we'd be looking at $.0026 per share (more or less). It would not be today of course... but it does have the potential for as much or more value than Oxygen in the near future.
IMO
wc
But what does any of it have to to with a fight channel? It's a blog, and not a very good one at that... imo
He doesn't seem to be a connected to much of anything... except his own blog. Claims to be co-founder of TheFightChannel.com and some equally unproductive picoCasting.net.

sorry, I'm not connected to the company in any way. Your may be thinking of someone else. I just email Sandy once in awhile and get a reply about 20% of the time.
I don't even watch fighting or boxing. I just thought this venture would be profitable and I thought us stockholders would see some of it. Am hoping that is true...
wc
did you see this post?
(content confirmed to me by Sandy next day... by email, not personal PR)

I did speak w/Sandy. Two things to mention.
First, TFNG has purchased Sky Digital Channel 427 (TWC Fight), which is a free broadcast to ~9 million homes.
TFNG will depend on advertising for its revenue, since there are no subscriptions.
There is discussion on possibly eventually moving to a pay-per-view format, once the TFN name brand has been established.
Regarding Chad Midgely's statement, Sandy's comment is that Chad is not correct.
Chad was most likely reflecting on TFN and not TFNG (formerly Blackout Communications) where BKMP's investment is situated.
So in one sense, Chad's correct that BKMP has nothing to do w/TFN, but in the sense that BKMP has no interest in TFNG, he's not.
Sandy reconfirmed BKMP's 15.4% interest in TFNG.
No answers to any of my emails. Haven't tried to call. Very disappointing to say the least.
wc
Happy New Year to all... I haven't thrown in the towel yet, but am feeling pretty beat up.
I hear 2008 will be great!
wc
Now that's just stupid... we all know we own 15.4% of TFNG. Wasn't that value enough for him yesterday? lol
Happy Holidays to all, however you may or may not celebrate.
I'm still hoping Santa comes down my virtual chimney with a whopping PR.
wc
ssahsik... are you up for a visit you could report back on? The phones and emails don't seem to work.
tia,
wc
yes, I did know that. As Canada calls will kill my phone bill I'm using email. That OK?
There is an email listed on one of the pieces... kdickey@SubterraCom.com
I forwarded my Kanno email to him, requested him forward it on and suggested they take care of some shareholder baggage.
Just noticed this now on SWS website... http://www.subterracom.com/news1.html
No mention or credit or connection to IPKL at all any more, that I noticed.
wc
that's the point!
not yet... trying to smoke him out; thought I'd plaster his co-workers email every day to get the message passed along.
FYI... I have stepped up my email campaign and will try to send the same message I sent November 7th out daily until I get some reasonable response from someone.
subject: "a message for Mr. Kanno"
I am sending it to the below emails...
'investorline@ipackets.com'; 'info@ipackets.com'; 'sales@ipackets.com'; 'hr@SubterraCom.com'; 'info@SubterraCom.com'; 'sales@SubterraCom.com'
thanks cyclone101, for your extra efforts. eom
Thanks for the information. Wonder which two weeks he is referring to? Also, wonder if the July 30 date still holds?
No reply back from my email (yet).
wc
I'm wondering if/how SWS would like the publicity? Would it even make a difference? I'm not an attorney... but I do watch Shark. We need someone like him.
I just sent an email to Kanno via info@SubterraCom.com and I'll let you know if I get an answer from him or someone else. I kept it nice.
wc
Question... Has anyone tried to call our CEO? Emails don't work.
