Either that or maybe they could announce that while making oil from plastic they stumbled on a by product that cures every type of cancer known to mankind. LOL.
If it didn't sound so scammy, I would buy it.
What did they get?
If the market turns around in the next few days, keep an eye on DDSS.
I sold mine at an average price of $5.45 this morning and bought JAZZ at $4.05 and it is up about 20% from there.
SELL. The market will crash and take TRIB with it.
Did you sell it short? It is down 9% right now.

Labopharm shares jump on looming FDA approval date
07.06.09, 12:33 PM EDT
TORONTO, July 6 (Reuters) - Labopharm Inc's shares jumped as much as 27 percent on Monday as investors expected the drug company to soon win U.S. approval of its once-daily depression treatment Trazodone.
The shares of the small Montreal-based drug company, which have climbed about 250 percent so far this year on anticipation of the decision, were up 16 percent at C$3.11 on the Toronto Stock Exchange by late morning, after rising as high as C$3.40 earlier in the session.
Yahoo! BuzzThe company expects a response from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Trazodone by the end of next week.
If it receives a positive response, the company would be ready to launch the product in the U.S. market fairly quickly.
'Labopharm ( DDSS - news - people ) is looking for that product to be quite an exciting product for them and their pipeline,' said Claude Camire, an analyst at Paradigm Capital.
'It is important for them. This is probably the one that could really carry the company to a different level.'
'The FDA has been fairly good recently at meeting their deadline,' he said.
Douglas Loe, an analyst at Versant Partners, also believes the product is likely to win approval.
'The drug has a solid probability that it would be formally approved,' he said.
Loe has a 'buy' rating on Labopharm stock, with a target price of C$4.
The company is expected to remain in investors' sights for the next few months as it is also seeking approval in the United States, Canada and Europe for its Tramadol-acetaminophen twice-daily pain combination.
In May, it launched its once-daily Tramadol pain treatment in the United States, along with marketing partner Purdue Pharma Products, under the name Ryzolt.

$heff, I signed up for your alerts. Do you plan on sending any alerts today?
RE: DDSS. They already have one drug approved and another about to be approved. The one about to be approved (scheduled for around July 18th) is almost certain as the drug is already approved as a once a day. DDSS is making it a time release which should be a no brainer. The drug that was approved last December is now showing up in sales and bottom line. The problems raised last week about Acetaminophen should bring more sales to the DDSS drug as it is a pain med without Acetaminophen. The FDA is considering pulling all prescription drugs containing Acetaminophen and cutting the recommended dosage in half for Tylenol. I think that this was the main reason for the jump last week.
$heff, I see that we are on the same page on several stocks. While reviewing some old posts of yours, I just noticed this post of yours regarding TTNP.
Don't forget to accumulate these:
Titan Pharmaceuticals (TTNP.pk): The pink sheets and a drop in volume has Titan Pharmaceuticals out of the spotlight again, but with Vanda's (VNDA) Fanapt due to hit pharmacy shelves later this year, TTNP is bargain for a dollar.
Titan will receive up to 10% in royalties on net Fanapt sales.
Even if Vanda were to completely bungle the Fanapt launch, the current market cap of Titan does not warrant the value of the pending revenue stream
I will have to start visiting this board on a regular basis.
$heff, I joined you in DDSS today. Monday could be big at least I hope it is.
Wade, DDRX, I think that you are sitting in the cat bird seat right now. Your short is in the money and you can ride it down and cover if it looks like it is going to turn up on you or like you say, if it turns up now, you can still cover somewhere around where you shorted it. Good luck.
PS: DDRX was at $4 when I first posted about here on the VMC board so it is up 451% since then and it is up 7.013% since March, so the odds are in your favor.

I think the reason that there is no interest here is that all of these same claims were made 2 or 3 years ago and the highest the stock ever got was 81 cents. It has been dropping ever since then and has only bounced some starting in March when everything bounced.
FRPT, nsomniyak, I hope that you sold your FRPT. It is getting smashed in AH as OSK got the billion dollar contract for the Hummer replacement. OSK is up 25% in AH.

Wade, RE:DDRX, One thing that you have to remember. McDonalds, Dunkin Donut, Steak and Shake, Dary Queen, and a host of others are now making coffee drinks with ice cream and just plain coffee drinks. They have really put a dent in Starbucks business. One thing they all have in common is that most of them get their coffee from DDRX. This quarters earnings could be 50 to 75 cents.
No. When Morgan Stanley did away with the unlimited trades for 3/4% that is when I switched my cash accounts to BoA with the free trades and moved the IRA's to Fidelity.
Only if that is the only stock that you buy all year. I think that he meant that he pays 1.25% of his account value for the whole year. Then he can trade as much as he wants. That is what I had a Morgan Stanley until they did away with that type of account. I think that they were charging me 3/4%.
I figured it was you with a low ball bid. LOL.
DDRX shorting? Hell no. it is going to $50.
Looks like you timed your purchase very good because China is raising the price of gasoline and diesel fuel again. here is a post from the Yahoo board.
Let's all hope that Longwei saw this price increase coming and filled all their tanks and settled contracts for the next 60 days ... because the Chinese government is raising gas prices again ... should help pps ... in a rational market anyway ...
http://news.morningstar.com/newsnet/View...
LONDON -(Dow Jones)- China will increase gasoline and diesel retail prices by CNY600 a metric ton, effective from Tuesday, the National Development and Reform Commission, China's top economic planning agency said Monday, confirming an earlier story by Dow Jones Newswires.
This represents rises of around 8-10% over current average gasoline and diesel retail ceiling benchmarks of CNY6,930 (or $1,014.64) a ton and CNY6,190/ton, according to Dow Jones Newswires' calculations. The move follows a hike of 6-7% in gasoline and diesel prices made on June 1.
The ex-refinery prices of gasoline and diesel will be raised by CNY600 to CNY6,730/ton and CNY5,990/ton respectively, the NDRC said in a statement posted on its Web site.
China will also raise the benchmark ex-factory price of No.3 jet kerosene by CNY1,030/ton to CNY5,050/ton from Tuesday, it said.
Under China's oil product pricing reforms, introduced at the start of this year, domestic fuel prices may be adjusted when the moving average of a basket of international crudes changes more than 4% over a period of 22 working days, the NDRC said.
The reforms also include a clause to guarantee refiners a 5% profit margin as long as international crude prices are below $80 a barrel ...
Wade RE:DDRX. Don't be surprised if the PE doesn't go a lot higher. Here is a post I made back when people here were talking about shorting DDRX.

DDRX had a high of $110.00 per share back in 1999 and the earnings then were minus 44 cents in the quarter. By comparison their latest quarter had plus 25 cents. Compared to GMCR it is still really cheap at $15. Shorting it would be suicide IMO.
you are preaching to the choir. We just need to enlist more choir members. It is as simple as that.
lizzy, Anything over 10 years will be "life" for Bernnie.
Len, They got the wrong Jackson.
I swung for the fence. In fact I swung so hard the bat came around and lodged half way up my A$$. From 16th to 49th in 3 weeks. Ugh.
Re: Boeing. Not good news for the future, but it will not affect the bottom line near term. Once the 787 is cleared for flight, new orders will start coming in as the airlines are hurting and the 787 will be the most effecient plane in the sky. Airbus is 2 to 3 years behind in this class of planes.
SMID. Exactly as I predicted on May 14th. Actually the volume is a little higher that what I thought it would be. I was thinking more like 5,000 shares per day.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=37814037&txt2find=smid
Ico must not be up yet. LOL.
TRTN, I can see why it isn't a favorite. Down 32% today. The low volume makes it too hard to get in and out.
Where did TRTN come from? I didn't see that one on the board favorites and what caused the big jump yesterday when everything else was tanking?
Oh,did I forget to mention, the price needs to be over $1.
No, I want a stock that is going to double next week and trades more than 500,000 shares per day.
Looks like you are the only one here.
GAPPER=NNI
Common buzz, go out on a limb and give us a couple of multi-baggers like the ones from Jan.
Man, I would have missed a lot of money if I had done that. However, I wish that I had sold on June 9th as that was the peak for me.
That is one thing that I never understood. The difference between the bid and ask is 2 cents. If you buy 25,000 shares you are talking $500. If you expect to trade the stock and sell for 30 cents higher your profit will be $7500. So, you make $7500 instead of $8,000. Trying to buy at the bid, you could possibly miss the whole run if it takes off without you. Also, buying at the ask, you could take out all of the near tearm sellers, and the stock would move up in their absense. Now if you plan on daytrading the stock, I can see trying to buy at the bid and selling at the ask. Common Hank, bite the bullet and buy at the ask. LOL.
