It's a good thing, but it is not related to the patent infringement.
Here's a little background from Skunk:

They have until the 15th to either file or request an extension.
Settlement would be the most accurate speculation seeing as how Amaizing was purchased by an existing GERS customer.
Could have done without reading this today:
Ethanol sector braces for bad patch as Valero idles plant
It was supposed to end last year, but got rained out. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what the weather is like this year.
It's still a good sign. Plus GERS has updated their web site already to show the press release.
And there was much rejoicing. Finally some good news.
Sure way to get a loan is to show that you can pay it off.
What ever happened with the Alternativa agreement? Does anyone know if anything ever materialized?

Shorting would be stupid right now if it wasn't for dilution. I would assume that no one is selling at a nickel, so the only way for a short to cover their position is to buy the new shares added by dilution. If dilution stopped, shorties would be screwed.
Someone told us that dilution didn't matter.
I was hoping there was an injunction involved.
ICM's website appears to be offline. www.icminc.com
New patent application, but not from GERS

Doesn't look like it offers much competition though.
Unfortunately your math appears to be correct.
I'm just going to head to the bar for happy hour. Who's with me?
If I'm not mistaken, other than GPRE, the numbers listed is the corn oil MGY, so you're first calcuation can be thrown out.
Good find. That would break down to about 16.9 MGY of corn oil.
The 740 MGY for Green Plains is actually their ethanol production not oil
Petalman,
You should post your spreadsheet on greenshift-gers.com with fourtwo's Cash Flow Projection spreadsheet.
Unfortunately there is no GERS involvement.

I wouldn't mind that $2.65 quarterly dividend.
Before you go around criticizing semantics, you should check your own. .115 / 1000 = .000115 not .00015
We're waiting on Slash to reveal something big. Several people have speculated that it could be ADM, but no definitive proof as of yet.
Why you gotta be a tease?
Ethanol Stocks Hit Record High
http://domesticfuel.com/2012/03/22/ethanol-stocks-hit-record-high/
"ethanol producers were providing 4.1 million pounds of corn oil daily."
Assuming a non-food grade corn oil market of $0.25 per pound, that is over $1 million produced daily. With GERS having licensed roughly half of all plants that have a COES that's $500,000 daily ($182.5 Million annually) at 20% royalty is $100,000 a day($36.5 Million annually).
Also considering GERS COES have a higher output rate this number could be higher.

It's an old article and things could have changed but on page 44 it says that Homeland Energy and Golden Grain Energy have a cooperative agreement for shared management, and according to Skunk, Golden Grain is an infringer. http://greenshift-gers.blogspot.com/2011/07/golden-grain-update.html
So, I would assume that Homeland took the low road as well.
I hope whatever info you gave them stuck after SIRE announced they were paying out about $1,000,000 in dividends.

You skipped watching the Creighton game?
What I'd like to see is for GERS to take ICM to the cleaners. Just think of what GERS could do with its own industrial construction company.
I found one possible way to skirt the GERS patents. However, I do feel this may be a bit less efficient.

/edit: Rumor has it ICM is trying to patent this process :)
I googled "Greenshift Injunction"
Preliminary injunction was filed with the original infringement suit then later rescinded. Example here when GERS brought suit agains Cardinal: http://greenshift.com/news.php?id=256
Get to Skunk's blog. First amended complaint filed including a request for preliminary injunction.
His post for today was already deleted. I suggested going to http://www.greenshift-gers.com
I don't want to speak for nobody, but I believe he is saying that settlement is the only way that we're going to get good movement. If there are no settlements it will be 2 years before there is a verdict.
Go to greenshift-gers.com. It's a new discussion board for GERS that isn't moderated to fit a specific opinion.
