My sincere apologies, Aeschylus1, I did not intend to violate any rules, or reference anything other than the believability of Tivus' statements lately. Please forgive my inappropriate comment.
I'm just hoping to get back to break even soon. News would go a long way to help make that happen! It might even help make a penny or two! GLTA!
My bad your right. Auto correct on phone is a PIA sometimes! Thanks for the correction.

A friendly word of advice: read everything you can to educate yourself about stock trading. Your swimming in the most shark infested waters of trading in existence. Self education is a lot cheaper than what you stand to lose in pinks.
DONT INVEST ANYTHING YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LIVE WITHOUT, NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT LOOKS!
Don't trust anything you read on "advice websites" without checking them out as many ways as you can. After all, who do you trust more, yourself, or some stranger on a web page?
Good luck in your investments, but be careful and remember to do your homework, "Due Diligence" (DD)
Just read your message to my wife, and she warned me not to get any ideas as she loaded the .9mm Sig! LOL. I THINK I MAY BE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH tonight!
Well, I live in Nevada, so with the casinos here, I'll need to double that! LOL.
However "capton" is in Italy, (i think) so I don't know how much he needs.
I'm buying as much as I can afford!
If anyone can answer that question with accuracy, they can be my financial advisor! LOL How much money is enough?
9lt98x, consider this.
If the dry stacking is subject to approval, then the purchase of the land most probably is subject to that approval too. I know that if I were in CGFI's position, I wouldn't spend any money on land before I was sure it would be needed. A simple down payment, or retainer, would hold the land and the purchase could be made contingent on the final approval of the dry stacking plan. Deals like this happen all the time, especially in real estate. Why buy the land now when your not sure if the plan is 100% approved? With all the hoops CGFI has had to jump through, this would be the wise move. I doubt there are many buyers lining up to buy open land in rural Colorado.
The management of CGFI has proven to be a frugal bunch up to this point. I wouldn't expect them to suddenly change that characteristic. I trust these guys; that's why I bought my little investment in their company. I think your looking for the wrong indicators for success.
The permit for POW mill is the key.
JMHO. GLTY.
I'm sorry capton, but I don't understand what you mean. No offense, but I'm having difficulty with your posts. Is English your second language? I value your opinion, and would like to understand your posts If anyone can translate please help.
Thanks, GLTA.
Wow! The silence in deafening around here lately. I guess everyone is waiting to see what is going to happen next! Anyone have any news ( good or bad) they can share? GLTA
Just what I need today, a little comic relief! Thanks Muskett50! GLTA
Hey olandug, they didn't just toast OBL, they gave him the mafia treatment, a lead appetizer and a fish dinner!
Re TADF/TacAir, I'm not worried, I'm waiting for the merger and then the ride up! GLTA
We think the same way goforthebet! Like they say "bulls get rich, hogs get slaughtered". So don't get greedy. Set your goals and, for the most part, stick to them.
Thanks for the kind words, goforthabet, your a classy lady! GL
Details of the merger are still unknown except for basically this info from the December PR:
"Tac-Air shall be a wholly owned subsidiary of TADF, and Tac-Air shareholders shall receive securities equal to 45.75% of the outstanding post-acquisition shares of TADF stock;"
See the yellow sticky above for more details.
TacAir's debt ($1 mil+/-) looks like it will be retired and covered by a $3mil loan secured by TDAF.
So share structure still is undefined, in detail, until the merger info is released, but TDAF has a history of stock buy backs.
A lot depends on any contracts that may be in the near future, but right now that is unconfirmed speculation.
Take some time and scan the posts for the last few weeks and you'll see some pretty good info offered by the members of this board. They all seem to have pretty valid views and digesting it all and building your own opinion is the best course of action. GLTY and happy investing.
PS: welcome to the board!
Soconnor,
Do your self a favor and read some of the information on this website and a few others. Look for advice, not sales sites. If you have an on line broker account, most will have education areas to help.
The first rule of penny stock investing is (like going to a casino) "don't play with money you can't afford to totally LOSE!" If you are new to this, READ, READ, READ! Educate yourself. It's cheaper than the education you will get at the hands of the vultures out in the market.
I highly recommend the info on this site.
Learn the basics first. What the abbreviations mean, what the basic charts show, and then you'll get a lot more useful advice from reading these guy's and gal's posting.
9 months ago I was where you are now. I still feel inadequate, but I have learned tons just by reading.
Most of the members here are glad to help and explain things, but there is nothing better than doing your own DD (due diligence).
Good luck with your investing.
I offer this advice as a friend and do not mean to discourage or insult you in the least. But you have to research things for yourself, all the time. After all who do you trust more, some stranger on a web page, or yourself?
Just the dynamic of the merged company will give them access to more and larger contracts, as stated by many other members on this board.
I have to believe that there are more bids for contracts pending in the near future.
Strictly my opinion, but having been in sales all my life you are always looking for the next 10 to 15 sales, knowing you probably will only get 1/2 or less. Either way I think TDAF/TacAir is looking at more than 1 to 2 million per year in sales. These guys are too sharp and much more aggressive than your average "Joe". We will have to see what these guys have up their sleeves, as sales / income goes, but I do believe they will not settle for just "existence" levels of income.
Strictly my opinion, but based on years of experience! GLTA!
I am SO glad I got my last purchase in last week!
Nice day today. New 52 week high! 30+% increase. Could you ask for more from this stock? (Yeah, well maybe merger news would be nice) Keep watching, best is yet to come!
Your probably right, but strange things have been known to happen. I'm with you hoping for $5 range. I don't have a very large position, but still stand to make enough to have some with the proceeds. I'm hoping I can buy some more before price gets too high. It will be a fun ride whatever happens. GLTY
I'm just hoping to pay off the mortgage! But I have to keep reminding the wife "it ain't spendable till it's in the bank!" Good luck! Hope we both make a buck or two on this one!
Chinnery, there is a third option. Buy out the whole company. If the buyer has deep enough pockets, that would be a real smart move. They would then own the patents, avoid litigation, and pursue the infringers themselves. It would provide possible windfall income, plus license income from all present and future patents. IMHO of course! Lots of possibilities here, that's what makes this such an interesting investment!
Hey Titan, is that shares or dollars? LOL. for your sake I hope it is $'s. Good luck. I wish I could afford to buy more. I'll be happy to ride the stack of shares I have. (I'm not greedy, I'm just needy!)
If it speeds up the mill permit, we can pass the hat & take up a collection! We can pay this one w/ our lunch money! I'll give up my lunch to see CGF take off soon! GLTA! Go CGF!
Thanks Soconnor, I guess I'm just not on my game this AM. I'm on pacific time and only have had 1 cup of coffee so far!
Good Luck & let's hope this is an historic ride with WordLogic!
Hi cj, I was referring to the YouTube link posted. It takes you to a video about the song "Surfing Bird" which by the way I'm old enough to have listened to when it was on AM radio! I just don't see the relevance.
I'm on the WordLogic train and hope I get the opportunity to buy more soon. GLTA Happy investing!
And this relates to WordLogic???
Hey Bulldog, I'm just a small, two-bit investor with only pocket money to invest. I spent my allowance for the week. Care to spot me a few shares till this ship comes in, or my hunched-back brother straightens up? LOL (just joking)
Good luck to all you "logical" investors. I'm with you on this one.
Yes, 009 was I fat finger. I remember it well! I felt like a millionaire for a few hours! This IS real! Wow! I'm ready for more! GLTA
He'll, Akgoldminor, Alaska is too damn cold for my old bones. Vegas is a better idea! LOL
Frodo, I hope and pray (and believe) you are right on w/ your assessment.
My wife is already asking if we can retire this year! LOL I keep reminding her "not till the check with 6 zeroes on it clears the bank" ! Let's all hope we are "lucky" on this one!
TacAir is private. So TDAF is the only way to go.
Oxygen, crap I knew I forgot something. Thanks JPM, and please remind me to breathe if we cross the decimal point into that notorious $ range! I'll be turning blue with excitement.
If these early intel reports are valid, I couldn't have cut this any closer! I just doubled my position this am! I have a great feeling about this one TDAF/TacAir fans!
Buckling my seat belt, putting my tray table away and adjusting my seat to a full upright & locked position!
Did I forget anything? Oh yes, barf bag! This ride is going to have a ballistic trajectory! Hang on everyone. GLTYA
I'm laughing at the stubble part, ficose, so much I can't type! I guess that's the best way to look at this, a game with heavy equipment.
Glad to see someone out there has their sense of humor still intact!
GLTA & keep it all in perspective.
Thanks for the insight Lt. You are a scholar and a gentleman! I had no idea that things got so blatantly antagonistic at the last meeting. it's these bits of info that are lacking in the big picture. I appreciate your response. TY & Good Investing!
Lt.Columbo, could you please explain to my novice brain why you feel Guyer "burned his bridge". Do not take this as an attack on your opinion in any way. I am simply trying to catch up on some of the political aspects of CGFIA's relationship with State of Colorado's mining authority.
Do you feel Guyer "burned his bridge" when he /CGFI complained about Wally's actions? Are there any other factors involved in this seemingly adversarial position (or nit picky at least) that Wally has taken regarding this company?
IMHO, it seems Wally can be viewed as a classic "petty bureaucrat" being overzealous in his duties. And having dealt with this type of personality in my career, I can see how this can be a real danger to a small company such as CGF.
I am asking for educational purposes only. I have seen many of your posts on this board and value your opinion.
Anyone else who can help flesh out this political situation, I would value your contributions also.
Thank you all in advance.
Thanks, Twilikers, for the info. I had heard about Meriman, but I guess I was too much of a beginner to realize that there would be that much of a slip. It was nice to see it regain some of it's price toward the end of day on Thurs. I expect good things from this company in the future. GLTY
M T Pockets
You tell 'Em PG! I look at this venture as better odds than a Vegas Casino. Way better. I expect I'll see you laughing all the way to the bank! I hope I'll be in line with you depositing my check, the one with 6+ zeros on it! GLTA who believe in CGFIA!
Will they emerge or be consumed by the malevolent black ooze, like Tasha Yar? ( sorry, I just couldn't help myself! I'm a consummate Treckie!) Hope we hear from the "away team" soon. GLTA
Your probably right "PG". There seemed to be something seriously wrong with that one. The author in question almost bit my head off a while back when I suggested it would "be nice to see a dollar out of this stock". You would think I had shot their dog! Seems un-natural to cheer for losses, unless your shorting the stock.
Well, as they say "He who laughs last laughs the best!" I know I'll at least smile a little.
Rodger that, 67!
We know there is gold in the ground, in the old tailings, and in the ore from other mines (toll mining contracts). We have seen the geology reports and the price of gold lately just reinforces the viability of this literal "gold mine". We hit a dollar a share and it's "boat drinks" for everyone!
