Yeah, it is a bit bothersome, but from my personal experience, contract negotiations always take longer than the worst estimates. With everything on the line here, I'm sure they are all trying to get everything down on paper the right way.
Hopefully, it isn't too far off!
GLTY & hang in there!
Bulldog, I can spell it, but I can't get $2.00 words to come out of my 10 cent mouth!
I don't think I can answer that. There are too many variables in the projected income from the various equipment (planes) to come up with an accurate PPS. These figures are usually "educated wild guesses".
And most of all, all this depends on "sales" or contracts. Without them, there is little income.
My background is more operations than investing, so I look at things from a different point of view than most other people here, who I assume are more financially oriented.
But to give you some information to go on, I just had a great conversation with "justanotherdollar" and I think you may find his projections interesting. Look back a few posts and read his insight.
Wish I could be more help.
GLTY
TY, Dollar. I think TADF is soon to be in a unique position to pick up some lucrative contracts. The military is looking to get more "bang for the buck" (not just US, foreign govt's too) and hopefully the joint entity will be able to pick that up.
But as you say, we are looking for investors, so TADF just needs to get some momentum for us to make a good profit. Let's hope! TY & happy investing!
I welcome your opinion! That's how I learn. We may have differing opinions, but that's because we look at things from different points of view. So, please keep the opinions coming, I DO appreciate them!
So, you think the merger value is already factored in? Where do you see the price going post merger?
Do you think TacAir will bring additional business and value to the table?
GLTY & TYIA
M_T
Sorry, 5.66 kids! Lost one there for a minute! Did that ever happen to you?
Albosafy, that's the wife's fantasy! Sometimes its hard to keep her on this planet. Mine is a comfortable couch in a paid for house.
Costa Rica is beautiful, but that's about $1 per share away from here and now. Not out of the realm of possibilities, but certainly a reach.
GLTY , your wife & 4.66 kids!
Seekingneko, I don't think the PPS is inflated. JMHO, but I don't even see the upcoming merger factored into the PPS yet. I believe that is the key in this deal. As many other ppl here have observed, the merger, when completed, will open doors to the all important contracts that will keep this corporation on the upward track.
At 1/3 cent per share, the price is cheap, IF the merger is completed. Recent information shown on the TacAir and TADF web pages shows a greater intermingling of these companies. I think the merger would be easier to complete than to cancel, at this point.
JMHO, GLTA!
I don't think that the numbers are simply that scalable, Pony1. But you have the right idea, just substitute a variety of aircraft.
There are bucks to be made in this business, and the management has the best education our government could buy for these guys. Definitely all type "A" personalties!
GLTYA! Keep looking for merger news!
TY, gig. Just trying to educate the masses! Hope I didn't bore too many of you guys and gals with my minutiae.
GLTA and happy investing!
A rose by any other name.... would be a gold mine! (at least in Littleton CO)
Thanks AK, the wife is looking at real estate in Costa Rica! I just hope to pay off this little place I'm in now! Talk about differing expectations!
And Albosafy, 5 and 1/2 kids make a great deck crew for that 40 footer! Just make sure it has more than one bathroom (head)!
You can sail it to Costa Rica and visit my wife!
Good Luck Everyone and like they say in Disney Land "may all your dreams come true".
BB, Dell won't be giving you a thumb drive version of the predictive keyboard. It will be a "extra add on" loaded on the hard drive of the PC, and backed up on a recovery disc. This would allow you to use the program on the Dell PC only. (If you what a portable version, you'll have to buy it from WordLogic.)
This is how they distribute extra "add on software" now.
The retail version is what you see on the thumb drive. For $50 you get a version that is portable. Your not going to get that capability with the Dell version.
FWIW, and FYI, the predictive keyboard does not install on the keyboard itself. It is a software program. No programs are actually loaded on a keyboard. They work thru the operating system on the PC's hard drive, processor and memory.
Believe me. I know what I'm talking about when it comes to PCs. That's my hobby, and I have some Microsoft certification.
But I think you have the concept now. Dell will be selling (or giving) the customer a version of the predictive keyboard software with their new PC. It will not be able to be reproduced and resold beyond Dell's customer. WordLogic will be the maker and seller of the retail version. Licenses for use will be sold to other companies such as cell phone manufacturers, search engine companies (eg: Google) and anyone who can benefit by a predictive keyboard.
This may be more info than you wanted, but you seem like you are a thorough guy who deals in facts and details. GLTY and hope I was of some help.
I haven't heard the term "certify the mill for operation" only "Mill permit".
I don't think there are "certifications" necessary for mill operations, other than standard OSHA, safety, and such. If there are, then I can't see it being a problem as the mill hasn't been closed for all that long.
JMHO & assumptions.
GLTA!
YUP, BB, we are almost there. Let's use any virus scan software as an example. It's similar to Predictive Keyboard in that it needs an operating system to function. But other than that, it is a " stand alone" program. In fact WL's retail level software can be bought on a thumb drive and moved from PC to PC as the user requires. BUT, like the virus scan software, Dell won't sell it on one PC to a company or person for it to be replicated and resold. Simply put, one PC bought, only one user license goes with it.
WL's agreement with Dell does not give Dell's customer the right to resell that software. Just as the virus scan software that comes with Dell's PC can't be replicated and resold. (by Dell's customer) That would be "software piracy". Software usually has some safeguard to prevent that from happening. And, to extend the thought that brought us to this discussion, that PIRACY would be an area for the lawyers to handle.
So, are we on the same branch of the apple tree, drinking a screwdriver? LOL
Or possibly the "Darwin Awards of business". LOL
Broke thru 10 cents, but which way are you surprised at? Above or below the dime line? LOL
I'm surprised it stayed even close to 10 cents. I was expecting .010 after that "important event" broadcast yesterday! I wish you all good luck, I bailed out of this one a couple weeks ago. I just couldn't take the BS anymore.
GLTA
You are right, Dell sells hardware. But with every PC they sell, comes an operating system (usually), and a suite of "extras" like DVD burning software, photoshop type software, sometimes accounting software, and virus scan software. They also offer upgrades like MS Office, or other software for a small fee. Dell licenses all this software from the software's manufacturer (programer). Even if Dell includes it in the basic operating system package, they still buy it from companies like WL or Microsoft. They just cover the cost in the basic price of the PC.
So Dell is not a worry for WL. They have agreed to pay for the right to give it to the buyers of their equipment, just like they have agreed to pay Microsoft for the right to give their buyers Windows.
WL's concern is all the other equipment manufacturers that are using their predictive keyboard in their equipment without paying for the right to do so. These guys are what the lawyers are hired for. The lawyers will file suit against these companies to force them to pay for the use of the Predictive Keyboard.
Dell= apples, infringers = oranges. (not to overuse an analogy, but I think I just did)
Hope this helps you sleep better, GLTU. M_T!
Sorry, didn't mean to upset you, but you are missing the point.
Word Logic holds the patent (owns the Predictive Keyboard product). If WL "allows" Dell to resell it to Dell's customers, that does not give the right to any other company to use it in their products. If Companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc. (just examples) are using a version of WL's product in their systems, that is an infringement. They (the infringers)should be paying WL for the right to use that technology. That is what the high class lawyers are for; to stop the infringement, and collect the fees owed to WL for using their technology without a license of permission.
Hope that explains things for you.
And what about all dozens of other companies that are infringing on the patents? Do you let them just walk because Dell licensed the product for resale?
Apples and oranges! Lawyer is for litigation against infringers, not Dell license agreement!
GLTA
Yup, I noticed that! I have been cheering for CGFI for a while now. I expect GREAT things from this company!
And you, my friend, have just added another 2 points to the scoreboard with that pix!
Good Luck To Us All!
Yellowdog1, I don't think demoinvest is asking them to actually buy back stocks. He, like I, feel QS was a poor expenditure of a scarce resource at TIVUS, cash!
We all get taken once in a while, let's hope management realizes that they "got took" on this QS deal, and don't do dumb things like this again!
I like shiny things! Can't wait to see the real deal!
Just commenting on the "sideways" price movement today. But I did get some more CGFIA at "bargain price" this am.
Sideways, so far!
Hope you are right RAGE1, the sooner the better. Just picked up a "few" more shares, so I'm ready for merger news! GLTA
I don't care what the nay-sayers post, I know what I know and believe this company is solid. So much so that I just increased my position by 50% ( as long as my order gets processed in the am), and the dip gave me a better price.
I like the sound of a solid gold keyboard! GLTA!
Rule, you have to remember these numbers are based on core samples that are like sticking a straw in a chocolate chip cake. You may get a chip, and then again you may not. But there ARE chips in there. So a projection is really the only way they can come up with any number. Until they actually start mining and milling, the numbers are "educated guesses". From what I have seen, CGFI is a pretty conservative group. I don't feel they are giving "wags".
You don't get guarantees with any stock, least of all pinks, so you are correct to be cautious. GLTA!
And they are full of the slow swimmers! Keep up the positive attitude! GLTA & happy investing!
IMHO, pacfan, that's a reasonable target. I believe it has an even higher potential, and have seen some projections on this board as high as $3.50. Let's hope! GLTY & Happy investing!
Your right, Waltercat1, Charlie sits on the shore and laughs at us when we ride the wave, then cries when he sees the profits we are earning!
NO GUTS, NO GLORY!
Maybe we can hire Charlie to do some digging at the mines, I understand he's good at that.
(no offense to anyone, just joking around)
Good Luck to All, Holding CGFI long & strong!
Words of caution Trip4501! No matter how good things look, investing in pinkies is like going to a casino! Don't play with money you can't absolutely do WITHOUT (totally lose). Do your own research, and filter the info you get from ANY source with your common sense!
Think of this type of investing like swimming in shark infested water. You may get bit, you may get eaten alive! But the odds are against you, particularly if you are not sure what you are doing. Good luck!
This is a GREAT board, so ask questions. Someone is usually willing to help.
Touché Max! LMAO! Hope you shock the bank w/ the size of the check you get from CGFI!
IMHO, Trip4501, .10 very feasible as soon as mill approval. I personally expect mill approval by end of summer. Its hard to predict the DRMS, but I can't see very much more in the way of impediments to approval. The last items on the punch list dealt with type of grass & wildflowers to be planted on reclaimed settling ponds!
Mine's Gold & Silver potential should take it substantially over that in the long term. GLTA
567tbd, I have seen it said on this board that CGFI doesn't have to wait for a Mining Board meeting to get an approval. Did I misunderstand? (if you know) - Can they get an approval w/o a formal board meeting? TIA.
Funny, Max! Glad to see you added to your sense of humor stockpile too! Keep the "stack dry" Max, you'll be laughing in the long term too!
To paraphrase a Vulcan adage "stay long & prosper"
GLTA & happy investing!
Plausible!
Waggett, You could write a screen play with that story line! Just throw in a sexy mistress, a drug habit & a mob hit and you can sell it to Hollywood!
You may have just outlined the missing backstory of Tivus! Thanks for the "insight". GLTY
If you are right, and the price drops significantly, I may have to average down. I think right now the best move (for me and others in my position) is to "watch and learn".
Thanks retired3, GLTY & all other Tivus investors.
Thanks Luc, you know the score! That's the key to this "gold mine"!
OK, what's up with all this dispute over share structure? The longs have been here ( some longer than others) and HAVE done their own DD. We know what we know. So trust your own research and stick with your plan. The few new voices are entitled to their own opinions, but don't let them shake your confidence in your research or in CGFI's strength. Good things are on the way. I'm holding and if possible increasing my position. GLTA
Makes my half million shares seem like chicken feed! but then if it hits $2.80/share, I'll be eating chicken feed for quite a while! Lets hope! GLTA! Happy investing!
9lt98x, I have another thought on the matter of the land purchase.
After reading the "sticky post" from the "Silverton Standard" above, it occurred to me that the dry stacking may be a situation of mutual "problem solving". It says the dry stacked tailings will be used to fill in an existing tailing pond on the old Kittimac property owned by Jack Clark. Obviously, Mr. Clark would benefit by this elimination of an ecological problem on his land, as well as saving the cost of having the problem fixed himself. From my point of view, it makes the sale of the land a good deal for both parties. I doubt Mr. Clark is getting very many other offers for the land in it's present condition.
The more you look at CGFI's approach to problems put in their path, the more you have to admire their thinking. IMHO, these guys are winners!
