CDH11,
This stock can't go to " just anyone", only employees. If you read the 10K, the one changed by this recent change, this only applies to the employee compensation plan.
Here is the link to 10 Q:
http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1344394/000095012310107458/c08801e10vk.HTML
AnJd the S-8 here:

In the 10Q it stipulates what can be paid to contractors.
If you don't have cash, you have to borrow it. That's not cheap, in today's economy.
Other investors would be us shareholders and any new ones they could find. That would be dilution for sure! Employees have a vested interest in keeping their stock and making sure the company succeeds. That's far less riskier than Joe stock buyer, he may bail and sell at the slightest bump in the road.
GLTA!
CHIPS,
You are correct. No real change in anything, except employee comp plan.
The Real news is the completion of bond payment. How did you get so smart? GLTA,
So let's use it to our advantage too, if you have the funds available! We can make a few more bucks as well as the MM's can!
Just simply reading the documents! Everyone gets "jittery" when they see this type of information. It's like getting a jury duty notice. You know it might be bad, but it usually just ends up being so much paper, meaning nothing at all, if you read it closely. GLTA
TD,
From what I read, the share structure stays the same. They just increased the number of shares that can be paid to employees and expanded the list of who can get those stocks. If they were increasing the A/S, then a filing would have been made. There was no such filing made as of today.
Everyone should just remain calm. All this says to me is that they are gearing up to open the mill and start operations ASAP. The O/S hasn't changed yet. This just gives the company the ability to compensate employees with stock instead of cash. IMHO, it's cheaper, right now, to pay with stock than cash.
One step closer! Bond fully paid! Now all we need is the mill! At the risk of stating the obvious, big PPS increase to follow mill approval. AIMHO of course. GLTA! Hold on to your stocks and grab your socks!
Look up "Fibonacci progression" as it applies to stocks. It is just what you describe. GLTA
Yes Rocket Man, it's like asking "are we there yet". Not going to happen in my lifetime, IMHO.
Sounds like an "ATeam" episode!
67, If their predictions were close to correct, we would all be experiencing the rapture right now! Doom and gloom are tattooed backwards on their foreheads so they can read it in the mirror every time they look!
And I would not be surprised to hear that they are paid!
But enough of picking on the downtrodden, they have their own special crosses to bear!
Let's look for some good news soon!
GLTA!
Ronix805,
Just thought of a useful project to appease your "explosive" tendencies!
Can you go visit our "friends" on YeHaw board and shake the cobwebs out of their thought processes? I was looking at the YeHaw posts over the weekend and they sure could use the adjustment!
On second thought, you might need nitroglycerin, dynamite isn't powerful enough!
Just joking of course. Our best bet is to just leave them to their own thoughts!
GLTA & get the scales out so you can count the $ by the pound!
RONIX805!
I'm glad you don't live in my backyard! I knew a guy who thought like you, we call him "Lefty" now!
If we could get you to blow the PPS skyhigh, we might have something here!
GLTY and all CGFIA longs!
Hate to say it LOBCRAB, but i think you'll be waiting a LOOOONNNNGGGGG time on this one. GLTY! I think you will really need it!
Hi ZF,
The only fault (if you can call it a fault) in your logical comparison of spider protein from silk vs. protein from goat's milk is a question of the overall volume.
I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm just questioning the proportional relation of 2% of several gallons of milk (or whatever the goat produces during the time it takes a worm to spin a cocoon) compared to 80% of a cocoon.
I have no idea what the volume of a goat's daily milk production is, or, for that matter, the volume of a production silkworm's cocoon.
It should be an easy comparison, but without knowing the variables I would be guessing.
Does anyone know or have a WAG as to the daily production of goat's milk and the weight or volume of a silkworm's cocoon? How long does it take a silkworm to spin a cocoon anyway?(This would make a great Jeopardy final question.) This, of course, would give you an idea of the competitiveness of "goat vs. spider silkworm". (and that sounds like a science fiction movie title.)
ZF, I admire your knowledge and ability to explain it to the masses! Keep it up. It's highly appreciated by many of us "pedestrian" science geeks! Thanks!
Scotia, you know I'm a newbie. I won't feel like I hit the jackpot till I see the check, but I'm smiling already! Everything I see about PCFG looks GREAT!
Remember, I'm real close to Las Vegas, so when you have the Millionaire's Club meeting here, I'll be glad to show you all around town! Stay positive, and we all will be Golden real soon!
Mojo,
You said:
"you are comparing a man made object to a living organism that is not man made but maipulated by man...
sorry...very different things.. "
Yes, they are different things!
ZincFinger is using an analogy.
Analogy defined as:
a. Similarity in some respects between things that are otherwise dissimilar.
He is explaining, in simpler terms, that genetic programing is similar to robotic programing. Without the genetic "program" the worm won't produce the desired silk.
Without a program, the robot won't produce the desired product.
Yes, mistakes happen in both genetic programs, natural or human manipulated, and robotic (computer) programs.
That's what testing is for. Even with testing, you can't be 100% sure of either. But you can increase that reliability to 99.99999% (to many decimal places) with the proper procedures. And as in the production of any product or the breeding of any species selected for certain traits, the more you produce, thru each generation, the higher that reliability factor becomes.
We are on the cutting edge with this technology. But the results will be worth the risk.
GLTA!
Send a suggestion to the Admins! They are always happy to hear creative suggestions.
I think you are on to something.
Yup, just a small bump in the road, or more appropriately, kink in the line. I think this is just a situation of "we can't approve that because it's not our job".
A word of caution!
I don't want to be a wet blanket, but remember that this IS PINKY LAND! The first rule in trading pinks is "DON'T INVEST MONEY THAT YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO LOOSE ALL OF -COMPLETELY".
I like this stock. I believe in this company and the concepts they represent. But there are some people out here in pinky land who will actually pawn their car and family jewels, raid their kid's piggy banks and take grandma's pension check to buy as much as they can. That is not good.
Invest sensibly! IMHO, this stock is bound for great things. But we were surprised recently with some questionable business financing deals. Are there more of the same in TIVUS's future? Who really knows? I hope not, but I won't bet the ranch house (literally) on it, and no one else should.
I know you were speaking figuratively, retired3, but for those reading this, looking to "get rich quick", be careful with your money. You can loose it. There ARE NO GUARANTEES!
This has been a public service announcement & my good deed for the day! Ok, where did I put Grandma's checkbook? LOL
We could all afford to take a trip to Mexico! I hear they have shows for that type of thing! Or we could just stay in the good old USA and kiss a democrat politician!
Ronix,
By George I think you got it!
That's a pretty good summation of the situation IMO.
Hey Soup, enjoy it! Have a blast, & and come back to some good news and lots of $!
Don't worry about CGFI, we'll keep an eye on it for you! But if we are not here when you get back, then you will know we struck it rich and ran off with the mine and mill!
Hey Blue dog,
The way I see it is CGFI has asked to replace the water line. DRMS would ok it, but they can't /won't because the lime originates at a water main on the other side of someone else's property. So DRMS says they can't approve that item because it encompasses work off the POW site. (on the other guy's land)
It seems to me that this is not a big problem. It may be as simple as asking the neighbor to run a line across their land to the edge of their property, and pay them to have the work done. It may not even be necessary to involve the DRMS in that part of the job. Then CGFI asks DRMS for permission to run the line across POW land.
Simple solution, but you know when it involves government bureaucracies, simple is not usually the order of the day!
I don't think it's a real big deal. They will figure it out.
Good question, & GLTY!
Nice 567! You can dig up info faster than anyone I know!
Can you tell me where I left my checkbook? I can't find it. Maybe the wife has it, but she's not telling!
Positive thoughts, Grizz! This will be our year!
Personally I'm having a great month, so I hope I bring good luck to you all!
I'm already packing for Silverton in '12, leaving plenty of room in my bag for the GOLD! (can we take samples home?)
I would say stay long, but I don't think this is really going to be that long before it all comes together!
GLTA CGFI holders!
Dakota, I'll be first in line to accept your offer! I'll even bring the booze!
Keep dreaming! As Walt Disney Sadi dreams do come true!
GLTA, and think GOLD!
It's a waiting game, TD! Wait for DRMS, wait for repairs, and wait for mill start up. Tedious at best, and frustrating at times.
But, as I was once told by a wise old man, "good things come to those who wait".
In my opinion it will be worth the wait!
Hang in there if you can. GLTY!
You would need a crystal ball on that one BOC!
We need to get mill permit first, then predictions will be a lot easier. Without mill approval, the price realistically will hold status quo.
If you have been following mill permit info, you know we are 44 out of 55 items completed for approval by the DRMS! The big items are done, its just a list of smaller items that need attention.
Sorry I can't answer your question more directly, but that's where things stand, as I see it.
GLTY!
Now you know Troger, you'll be on the street buying another micro miner in no time. I can hook ya up with a friend of a guy I know who has a cousin in da business! Wholesale prices!
Long and RICH!
Troger, remember it's a 12 step program! Take it one day at a time! You'll be seeing 9's in your sleep now!
GLTY and Go to a meeting of you get that 7's urge again!
(LOL)
No problem Troger! I understand.
I just got unlimited messages a few days ago. The PM was just an extra bonus!
GLTY and thanks!
Yeah, but it looks great on the brokerage position statement! You can feel rich, if only for a short time. And, you don't pay taxes on paper profits!
Let's all hope we have tax liabilities soon!
Go PCFG!
They use Kevlar now on the Space Station, so any application for Kevlar becomes an automatic consideration for the spider silk!
This is going to be a great new field when it gets into production.
I have to squeeze the Piggy Bank and find a few more bucks to invest here!
GLTA!
Oh, Blind Pig I like your name! It's part of one of my favorite sayings! "Even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while". Hope you find lots of acorns!
Fantasy Land is great to visit once in a while! Just as long as you don't set up house there!
Set realistic goals, and dream big!
Yesterday down, today catch-up. That's a break even and that's ok. We all know what we are waiting for, and it is coming soon.
The Armada is still afloat and the trailing flotilla, dinghies and all, are following in their wake!
By the way the total declared shares held by 40 members of this board is (drumroll please) 283,090,362!
That ain't hay guys!
Remember Go Long and Prosper!
No Hinkey, I was fortunate enough to get some early this morning. I paid the ask, which was .026, but I'm not going to argue over .001. In a few weeks that tiny bit won't mean much anyway! How else is the price going to rise unless you pay the ask?
Also, with the financials getting up to date, I'm one happy camper today!
GLTA and hang on to your shares, they ARE gold after all!
Hi Scotia!
Seems like I have seen you around here a lot lately. Have we converted you to the dark side?
Thanks for the words of support yesterday. Now just wait till the truth comes out! LOL
Go Gold! its the new Green!
Hey StarGazer! I saw your note yesterday, thanks for the kind words. ( glad you did 't tell the truth about me)
I have a feeling you'll be seeing quite a few of the guys from this board on PCFG's board soon. There are quite a few of us already. Must have something to do with liking gold!
So Pacific first, Colorado next, but I haven't figured out Blackfire in the mix yet! Need to polish up my crystal ball!
Troger, got your figures!
I like the barge idea! That's forward positive thinking.
I didn't think that far ahead! So I guess I'll have to just buy the closest island? Catalina, or maybe Manhattan! I hear that one only went for $24 dollars in trade goods! I probably have that in my garage waiting for the next yard sale!
Thanks for the numbers. GLTY & all CGFI holders!
That's what it looks like to me, but it may just be set up for markets that service a lot of different nationalities or world travelers. Either way, it's pretty sophisticated!
Glad I got a few shares of this one!
