Zinc, very interesting connection. Just for the record, I'm not sure if other posters have mentioned it, but I agree there should be no paranoia about working with Chinese scientists. It is not some generalization about Chinese people, but the fact that the Chinese state has been stealing intellectual property from our country in amounts that equal many many billions for years.
I'm not just talking about media piracy, but defense technologies, state secrets, and valuable information from some of the most influential companies in the United States. THAT is not paranoia, it is a fact, and I would be happy to provide published evidence. I have absolutely no aversion to working with Chinese scientists, they are some of the best in the world, no doubt, but I DO have significant qualms about partnering with Chinese companies or the Chinese state for those very reasons. But we will cross that bridge when we get to it. In the meantime, I appreciate your DD and contributions to the board and am equally excited for the future of this company.
I tend to agree...word will get out the way it always gets out on such accomplishments. Otherwise it just looks like another spam email that lacks credibility.
Or China will do what they have been doing since the cold war very successfully, which is stealing our technology. They may have a long history of their own scientific successes, but my concern with any involvement of that country is the billions they have stolen in defense research and other technologies. Unfortunately, this only frightens me as to the extent we must protect our intellectual property to be successful.
Either way it would obviously be an outstanding accomplishment to replicate something so complicated. Thank you all for the correction when I used the word synthetically...I should have used the word replicated. I just think of the many things that are involved and wonder if we can 'impose' on such a complicated natural process.
Surely it would be outstanding if our company would be the first to be able to mass produce and market the product, and I hope we have some real customers in the near future.
TED Video on Spidersilk:
Really interesting article here guys...check it out for some great science behind spidersilk. Makes me wonder about how difficult it would be to replicate such natural complexity synthetically. Excited for the prospects as a current shareholder, but worrisome how many things could get in the way.

I think the newsletters have generated zero interest because they are the work of entities that are built to take advantage of people. At this particular point in time I still believe in the idea, KT, and the future of the company.
The real test will be how much interest the coming announcements have on the PPS and how much news they will garner. These ridiculous newsletters make it lose credibility, regardless of who generates them. This will not change until we are on the NASDAQ and beyond. My feeling is that if one cannot be patient here or smells foul play, get out and never put more on the table than you can afford to lose.
If you build it, they will come! :)
Don't forget 15% capital gains treatment instead of taxed at regular income. I'm holding until this company folds or I am 90 years old (even if capital gains is likely taxed higher by then).
Thank you. That is the difficulty...but I believe it will pay off with this stock. I just wish I would have been more patient with my buying based on past moves.
Those .20's I bought suddenly aren't looking like such a good deal...sigh, just have to ride it out.
Cannot wait until we are off the PINK sheets and trade on a large exchange. Lets go KBLB!
Doesn't look like they are that dormant according to that post.
That is a very valid point. "Ramping up" should indicate that production is going to increase. It is all fine and well to speculate about taking orders for a very valuable product, but at the end of the day those orders don't amount to anything if you don't have a working production vehicle (i.e. adequate space for commercialization).
I tend to agree with DivaDawn on this point. I listened to the CC from beginning to end with all undue attention and I heard ZERO indication of any hints about results being announced. Just want and see, everything else is mere speculation.
I have to agree that I did not appreciate Zinc calling out my 'opinion' when he in fact was doing the exact same thing. Lets stick to the facts people. Speculation and opinion is speculation and opinion. Other than that, if you believe in the technology, the company, and the leadership, all is going to be very exciting in due course.
Don't get me wrong. I am optimistic. I just don't want to jump the gun. We will just see what happens. Appreciate your DD.
OH well is right. KBLB will see the light of day. It is only a matter of time to let these guys do what they do. I am satisfied they are working hard towards that end.
I think there is a little wishful thinking re: the next PR concerning the use of ZF technology and attainment of 100% spidersilk. They are NOT going to compromise their legitimacy by making pre-emptive announcements. Anyone who has followed this company very long at all should be aware of that.
That buy last week at .202 is suddenly not looking so hot :( Averaged at .17 so I guess I'm holding for awhile as I don't have anymore powder.
The personal attacks are a bit ridiculous here. Quit with the labels and name calling. If you believe in the company and the technology, stick around. If you don't, go away. Personal attacks bring nothing to the board. Overall I was initially disappointed but I thought the call went well and couldn't be more excited for the future of this company.
I know I don't contribute much to the board but I read it regularly and have had a position in KBLB since November. Found this interesting:
"With soaring cotton prices bringing a renewed urgency for alternative fibers, Hanes (HBI) recently inked a deal with tiny Naturally Advanced Technologies (NADVF.OB +10.5%) to "commercialize" flax fiber. Called Crailar, the flax product could become another Lycra, says NAT's CEO."
Hey guys, been following this stock for awhile now and have added a couple positions over the last few months. I'm new to the board and am looking forward to the things to come for this company. I have appreciated the insight you have all had into the progress going forward and potential for breakout gains. I'm holding long until this baby explodes or fizzles out.
