Watching Newsmax last night and today.... It amazes me that Rick Santorum has so much advice for Donald Trump.
Hey Rick! You're a LOSER! Trump doesn't need your advice.

Kunstler:
The Pipe-bomb Caper
“The FBI must come forward with the whole truth, immediately. If they will not, then Republicans have a duty to tear the FBI down to its foundation, and ensure that no government organization is allowed to amass this kind of power ever again.” — Charlie Kirk
Kudos to Darren J. Beattie of Revolver News and Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) for doing the FBI’s work for the FBI, smoking out the role of law enforcement (including the FBI) in but one module of the J6 operation that turned a peaceful mass assembly of disgruntled voters into a riot in order to color it as an “insurrection” and so destroy opposition to the falsely-elected, tyrannically corrupt, and epically deranged regime fronted by the ghost-in-the-White House, “Joe Biden.”
Mr. Massie arranged to extract previously unseen video from the Capitol Police vaults showing the exceedingly strange behavior of various law-men in the minutes after one of their number reported a pipe-bomb beside a park bench, a few steps away from their parked vehicles, outside the DNC headquarters near the US Capitol building around one o’clock in the afternoon on J6/21, just around the time that a joint session of Congress would commence the entertainment of official complaints and objections to the certification of votes in the 2020 presidential election. Of course, that proceeding was disrupted by events outside and inside the US Capitol, and those many complaints and objections were never registered.
Below, courtesy of Thomas Massie, is the most damning and explosive J6 footage yet released.
In my view this will end up demolishing the Regime's J6 narrative and with it a major pillar of Dem's 2024 strategy.
You paying attention Kamala? pic.twitter.com/1LuNm6pGdB
— Darren J. Beattie ? (@DarrenJBeattie) January 18, 2024
Two cars are shown parked blocking the driveway to the basement garage: a white Washington DC Metro Police SUV and a black Secret Service cruiser — because Veep Kamala Harris happened to be in the building at the time. A man with a backpack, later identified as a plainclothes Capitol Police officer, steps up first to the Metro car, then to the Secret Service cruiser, cueing minutes of slow milling-about by the officers in the two cars. Eventually several cops dawdle over to the bench to inspect what turns out to be a pipe-bomb planted in plain sight on the ground there. The video shows no effort to cordon-off the area or to stop cars or pedestrians (children) from entering the scene near the bomb.
Video (still photos above) from another closed-circuit camera outside the DNC from the night before J6 showed a different mysterious masked-and-hooded figure with a backpack loitering at that same bench, ostensibly planting the pipe-bomb. In three years, the FBI has been unable to identify or locate this character. That night video shows signs of tampering and the frame-rate is sub-standard. The video is time-stamped 17 hours before the police find the bomb around one o’clock the next day. Strangely, the timer fixed to the outside of the bomb turns out to be a one-hour egg-timer. . . as I said, planted seventeen hours before. How’s that supposed to work?
At 4:05 of the Massie video (top one from Mr. Beattie’s “X” feed), someone at DC Metro Police headquarters by remote control pans the closed-circuit camera toward the bench itself and zooms close-up (4:17) to the pipe-bomb (still photo above). Secret Service agents finally get out of their cruiser, amble over to look at the bench and the bomb, while kids are allowed to cross the street right in front of the bomb. Moments later, the SS agents pile back in their cruiser and pull out of the scene, leaving Kamala Harris inside the building with the bomb still planted. More DC Metro cars pull up to the scene, parking right in front of what would be the pipe-bomb’s blast zone. End of video.
Rather mysterious behavior, wouldn’t you say? Most particularly, nobody among all those LEOs shows any fear of the bomb going off, no effort to get out of the way. Were they a hundred percent sure it was a fake bomb? How would they know? You can assume there was some phone communication going on in those two cars. Did somebody call the FBI? Did the FBI tell the Secret Service agents, “Nah, don’t worry, it’s a dummy bomb.” How would the FBI know that? (Unless they arranged the whole caper.)
A number of commentators on “X” (Twitter) have remarked on the peculiar point that in three years since J6/21, Kamala Harris has barely uttered a peep about almost getting blown-up that day. You think she’d be blaring that from the steps of the Executive Office Building right into the microphones of NBC News and CNN — just as Liz Cheney, AOC, and Nancy Pelosi have been blubbering to the news media over their near-murder at the hands of J-Sixers, to fortify the “insurrection” narrative.
For three years the entire mainstream media showed zero interest in any facet of the pipe-bomb story — and let’s not forget, there was a second identical pipe-bomb planted at the RNC headquarters a two-minute walk away from the DNC. How come such strenuous lack of interest? You might hypothesize the obvious: that the media (and the blob regime they serve) don’t want anybody looking into the matter, or even becoming aware of it.
Here’s what you might suppose actually did happen: some person among the FBI, the Capitol Police, the Metro Police, or some other blob agency, planted those bombs (or, shall we say, those pipes with egg-timers fastened to them, because the police have never revealed what was inside them). They were originally intended to cause a police hullaballoo that would prompt an evacuation of Congress in order to disrupt the electoral vote certification and the objections entailed. But the bombs were not needed because Capitol Police and other LEOs on the scene at the Capitol itself had commenced lobbing flash-bang grenades and shooting rubber bullets into the crowd around one o’clock, while still other shadowy figures among the crowd, say, the character known as Ray Epps (“You need to go into the Capitol, into the Capitol”) instigated an invasion of the building, which even more successfully and colorfully drove out the senators and Congresspersons.
Thus, the “insurrection,” another long-running blob hoax that is now wobbling and unravelling, like RussiaGate and UkraineGate before it. What’s actually needed, in the immortal phrasing of Ray Epps, is an inquiry into the original House J6 Committee monkey business, and especially how chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) happened to order the destruction of all the committee’s accumulated evidence, including video of witness depositions and the transcripts.
The pipe bomb caper has come back to bite the blob on its gelatinous ass. What’s also needed are depositions from the Metro Police officers and the Secret Service agents who were in those two cars outside the DNC that day, explaining why they carried on the way they did. Are the authorities going to pretend now that they can’t find out who they are? Maybe FBI Director Chris Wray can shed some light on that in a House hearing room, or else go on the record that he can’t say because. . . reasons.
Meanwhile, it also happens that the US Supreme Court is about take up the matter of the janky federal law — the “Enron Law,” 18 U.S. Code Section 1512(c)(2), or “Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant” — that was used to hang felony charges around the necks of hundreds of J6 protesters, who otherwise did little besides stroll around inside the Capitol taking selfies. The court’s decision is likely to vacate all those charges, as well as charges against presidential candidate Donald Trump similarly (and erroneously) cooked up by Special Counsel Jack Smith. The mills of justice turn slowly, but they grind exceeding fine. . . .

Excellent! Of course, it won't change a thing.
If Trump falls, we're done for:
LIBBY EMMONS: Voters love Donald Trump because he's the only man successfully standing against America's Kafkaesque justice system
by: Libby Emmons 01/19/2024
The many trials of Donald Trump, each seemingly more absurd than the last, reveal the farcical nature of the American justice system. Each case, from the civil trial brought by admittedly biased AG Letitia James, the criminal case about bookkeeping records brought by equally partisan Alvin Bragg, the harebrained RICO case undertaken by Georgia's Fani Willis, the two intensely politically motivated cases brought by the Justice department of the sitting president—and intentionally structured in a way to disrupt the election, to the sensational "defamation" suit brought by a washed-up writer looking to cash in on the Trump name, is intended to remove or discredit Trump to such an extent that he's no longer a viable presidential candidate.
Repeatedly, Trump has told Americans that the weaponized powers of justice are not coming for him, "they're coming for you," and Trump is just in the way. He stands up, he fights back, he refuses to submit to gag orders, accelerated timelines, or to stipulate to the basis of any of the cases. Yet watching the cases unfold, the days spent in court before Trump Force One goes wheels up, off to another campaign destination, recalls an old story of a singular trial.
A man is arrested, his home raided, his possessions seized. As the police search his home, his neighbors look on. He's not told what he's suspected of. He's given papers to appear in court. He reaches out to friends only to find that they've turned on him. They avoid him, the accusation alone is enough to color their view of him. Not that anyone seems to know what he's charged with, least of all the accused. It's entirely besides the point, in fact, the only thing that matters is that he's been accused.
He tries to go to work while juggling the demands of his trial, attending court dates where time and location are ever changing. He soon realizes that everyone, be they friends, neighbors, strangers, are in effect part of the court, part of the process of accusation, of depriving him of liberty. And they all act like they are thoroughly entitled to his freedom.
This is the plot of Franz Kafta's iconic book The Trial, detailing the state of justice in Prague in the 1910s. And much of it will be familiar to any American who has been paying attention, likely too, to Trump—not to mention the Brits, the Irish, and the rest of the anglophone nations.
In the UK a person can get arrested for a tweet. Viral videos of these arrests show defendants absolutely gobsmacked to find out that they are being arrested—handcuffed, dragged from their homes—for having posted something on X, Facebook, Instagram. In Ireland, hate speech laws are under consideration that would criminalize some forms of political speech if someone, anyone who complained, found that speech to be offensive.
And in the US, one need look no further than the weaponized Department of Justice. President Joe Biden and his White House minions have said again and again that the DOJ is independent, but a search back through the papers of record reveal that Biden encouraged his AG Merrick Garland—who has his own personal beef with Trump—to go after the man as hard as he could.
But it's not just Trump, this DOJ has willfully prosecuted peaceful protesters, journalists, and has taken up the "domestic extremist" or "MAGA extremist" rhetoric of the Biden White House. It was revealed only this week that Biden's officials warned financial institutions to flag transactions containing the words "Trump" or "MAGA." Biden's FBI issued memos about the problem of "extremist" Catholics and the DOJ took aim at parents who speak up at school board meetings. Even more, it was revealed by Rep. Jim Jordan that the DOJ requested that the National School Boards Association ask the DOJ to look into these parents in order that they could do so with some seemingly legitimate basis.
Moms have been questioned by authorities for speaking out against mandatory masking, or required lengthy absences after Covid exposure, or for demanding answers as to why graphically pornographic novels were being made available to school children. A dad demanding to know why the school covered up the actual rape of his daughter by a boy in a skirt in the girls' bathroom was taken away by police in handcuffs. This is the state of justice. Is it any better than what Kafka saw from the official organs of early 20th century Czechoslovakia?
K, the defendant in The Trial, finds that there are other men also accused, and all of them, like himself, are ashamed for having been accused itself. The process of being involved in the court system, of being accused, charged, forced to spend time and money defending oneself against unknown allegations, feeling the entire world is against them, destroys this man, is capable of destroying all men.
It doesn't seem to destroy Trump. It doesn't diminish his support. He fights where others can't, don't have the means, don't have the strength, don't have the backing of 75 million Americans.
In the cancel culture era, an accusation was all that was needed to fell a man, but it has now gone much further and entered the American justice system. The process of generating anonymous accusations against an individual, encouraging a public outcry, destroying their relationships and work all with the shade of shadow prosecution that takes no form, has no standards, obeys no laws.
Kafka didn't need to predict the future when he wrote The Trial in 1915. He was living in Prague, the screws were tightening on individual liberty, on freedom. War was coming and would last for decades. Dissent would be criminalized.
I read The Trial in high school when I was obsessed with the work of writers speaking out against authoritarianism. I read everything of his I could find on my parents' bookshelves: The Castle, Metamorphosis, Penal Colony, Hunger Artist. I was fascinated by the stories written by men who were facing absolute totalitarianism.
I thought we Americans were protected. I thought we fought to defend our natural rights and had secured them in perpetuity. But at some point not only did we stop fighting, we stopped believing that these rights are of paramount importance. It's likely that many Americans, due to a distinct decline in a once robust educational system, cannot even name all of our Bill of Rights.
Under that document, for which so many have fought and died, we Americans have, bestowed not by government but by God, the right to free speech, free press, freedom to peaceably assembly, to petition our government for a redress of grievances, to freely practice our religion. We have the right to keep and bear arms, to not be forced to house soldiers in our homes, and to not have our homes, persons, property or papers searched without probable cause. This is a huge deal.
We have the right to due process, and cannot be forced to answer for a capital crime without indictment by a Grand Jury, and we cannot be tried twice for the same crime. Moreover, the trial to which we are subjected must be speedy, and judged by an impartial jury of our peers. We have the right to defense. Cruel and unusual punishment and excessive bail are prohibited under our Bill of Rights. That these rights and others are not enumerated in the document does not preclude their existence, and states, too, have the right to make determinations that are not elucidated in the Constitution.
It was the awareness of these rights that lulled our culture into a false sense of security that they would exist forever, that they could not be violated. And here we are.
Government has been exposed as a censoring entity that has routinely and systemically interfered in the free speech of Americans by working with social media companies to silence voices and ideas that go against the government. The Department of Justice has determined that domestic extremism is the greatest threat to American life and then redefined the very concept of domestic extremism to include Americans who vocally do not trust the government.
Persons who petitioned their government for a redress of grievances on January 6, 2021, have been arrested, their homes and property searches, have been held in detention for months on end, all to find they were charged with misdemeanor trespassing in court, but insurrection in the press. The same has been done to a former president. There have been accounts of citizens being questioned by officers over comments they've made on social media.
Press entities use their power to suspend the very concept of due process by leveling non-criminal accusations against individuals and then using those accusations to destroy the livelihood of those individuals. This has been done at the micro and macro level. The cancel has been leveled at people, organizations, and companies.
The media entities that direct the mob appear to claim a moral superiority, and the accusations they level are often ephemeral in nature. The trial by media is shockingly similar to what happens to K in Kafka's Trial: they are anonymous, ephemeral, rhetorical. Much as K is forced to traverse a justice system without knowledge of the crimes he is alleged to commit, those who come under media scrutiny aren't able to face their accusers, and aren't told what their crimes are. Instead, they hear they are misogynistic, racist, transphobic, sexist, problematic.
These are claims it is impossible to defend oneself against. And as one tries, it becomes clear that all those around you are part of the accusatory mob. Whether they believe the accusations or not, they pass judgment, they have to decide to believe the accusers or the accused.
Kafka's defendant K tries every avenue to get out from under the weight of criminal prosecution. He tries to petition the court, curry favor with others to seek leniency on his behalf. At a certain point he gives up trying to figure out just what he's accused of having done wrong, he simply tries to exist with the burden of prosecution. It is then that he is dragged from his apartment at night, taken out by the guards, and murdered.
K never stands a chance. The machinery is too big. The system is designed to favor the accuser, and to paint the accused as guilty. There is no presumption of innocence.
In the United States, only criminals have the expectation of a fair trial. Those who stand accused of political crimes, crimes of intent and no action, the crime of standing up for your belief, are squashed. And perhaps the worst part is that none of us can recognize it for the authoritarianism that it is. None of us can see past the curtain to the truth of it until it is ourselves in the crosshairs, and by then it's far too late.
That is the real reason that the lawfare waged so wickedly against Trump has not diminished the support among his constituents—far from it. We all see what is being done against not only him but grandmas who were on the lawn of the Capitol Building on J6—the lawn! Not even inside!—we see how sons have turned against fathers, not just on J6 but Covid regulations, and we see how there's only one man who is actually, visibly, and successfully standing against it.
The more media pundits on MSNBC, CNN, Washington Post, politicians on the steps of Congress, in the White House, self-aggrandized rulers of the world at Davos, tell us that Trump is the bad guy, the more clear it becomes that they're not just coming for his freedoms, but the rest of ours, too.

Tell 'em straight out:
Heritage Foundation President Slams Davos Global Elites Straight To Their Faces
BY: EVITA DUFFY-ALFONSO
JANUARY 19, 2024
Kevin Roberts speaks at Davos
Heritage Foundation President Dr. Kevin Roberts was invited to the World Economic Forum’s annual conference in Davos, Switzerland.
Author Evita Duffy-Alfonso profile
Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action for America President Dr. Kevin Roberts was invited to the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual conference in Davos, Switzerland, to appear on a panel about “What to Expect from a Possible Republican Administration” on Thursday.
In an op-ed penned ahead of the conference, Roberts wrote that he accepted the invitation to deliver the global elites a message. “Davos must accept the moral virtues, practical benefits, and natural rights of nations, families, and individuals to govern themselves,” Roberts wrote, or “‘We, the People’” will “take matters into our own hands.”
Roberts certainly delivered that message. When asked about who will likely join a new Trump administration, Roberts said it will be those who wish to destroy “the grasp that political elites and unelected technocrats have over the average person.”
“The agenda that every single member of the administration needs to have is to compile a list of everything that’s ever been proposed at the World Economic Forum, and object to all of them wholesale,” he added.
Roberts’ assertions are grounded in people’s real fear of the WEF’s despotic policy proposals. So far during the 2024 conference, global elites have discussed ushering in a “new world order,” decried “disinformation and misinformation,” and labeled farming and fishing “ecocide.”
The discussion about a new Republican presidency was largely centered around fear of Trump — that he’ll pull the United States out of NATO, yank aid to Ukraine, and put an end to supposed climate change policies. Panelist Gerard Baker, the editor-at-large for The Wall Street Journal, even fretted that a second Trump term could lead to a dictatorship.
Roberts called the fearmongering “absurd” and “laughable,” adding that it’s ironic “to use the word ‘dictatorship’ at Davos.”
The Heritage Foundation president aptly pointed out that the WEF elites, “the media, the academy, government agencies, international organizations, corporations, and the arts,” don’t actually care about preserving “democracy.” They fear Trump because a Trump presidency poses an existential threat to their power — and Roberts did nothing to alleviate that fear.
“Political elites tell the average people … that the reality is X, when in fact reality is Y,” Roberts said. Using immigration as an example, he called out the Davos crowd for telling people “that open borders and even illegal immigration are OK.” In reality, Roberts said, those things have “robbed [people] of the American way of life.”
Roberts also condemned elites for scaring people into believing “so-called climate change” is an “existential” threat to humanity and pointed out that Davos’ “solutions” to the supposed climate crisis are killing people. “More than a billion people in the world have been lifted out of poverty in the last 35 years because of fossil fuels,” Roberts explained. Yet climate alarmists are shutting down energy production to replace it with insufficient green energy.
“China,” Roberts added, is “the No. 1 adversary not just to the United States, but to free people on planet Earth. Not only do we at Davos not say that, we give the Chinese Communist Party a platform.”
Roberts said to count on Trump taking on illegal immigration, eco-fascism, and Red China.
“I think President Trump, if in fact he wins a second term, is going to be inspired by the wise words of Javier Milei, who said that he was in power not to guide sheep, but to awaken lions,” concluded the president of Heritage. “That’s what the average American and the average free person on planet Earth wants out of leaders.”
Roberts’ appearance was vindicating for all the WEF victims who suffer from high energy prices, threats to freedom of movement and meat consumption, and increased encroachments on speech and other freedoms. Unfortunately, his remarks on Thursday won’t change much.
In a statement following the event, Roberts expressed that he had little faith the WEF is capable of reform or adopting a “noblesse oblige” view of the world. Ultimately, Roberts wrote in his op-ed, “the everyday citizens, workers, and families who shoulder the burdens of Davos-style global elitism,” will have to work themselves to “reclaim their individual rights and national sovereignty.”

Cheers to You, WEFers of Davos!
“I have decided to unilaterally rebrand Disease X! It is now Disease DIC! Debt Implosion Cover-up” — Edward Dowd
The nabobs and panjandrums of the World Economic Forum (WEF) meet up at Davos, Switzerland, the next several days to lay plans for their latest assault on humanity. This year’s theme is “Rebuilding Trust.” Did you just blow your coffee through your nose? The outfit that coordinated the world-wide Covid-19 response (that perhaps birthed the very concept of Covid-19 itself), and especially pushed mRNA vaccines on the credulous global public — this gang of super-wealthy, super-connected, super-important celebrity punks, poohbahs, pricks, and predators wants a cuddle.
This Davos crowd — moiling around the opening soirée amid drool-worthy trays of crab puffs, asparagus gougères, lobster crostini, wagyu morsels, Prosciutto-Fig bites, chickpea panisse, stuffed castelvetrano olives, wild boar and quinoa dolmas, fava bean puree toasts, pigeon pea fritters, and Nürnberger rostbratwurst pigs-in-a-blanket, all washed down by bottomless flutes of Roederer Cristal Millésime Brut— could not stop chattering about the debut of the latest viral confection, “Disease X”, said to be twenty times deadlier than Covid-19.
Imagine the opportunities this one will provide for the WEF’s Davos prom date, the World Health Organization (WHO). And just in time to create enough hysteria for the May vote on the new WHO treaty binding the world’s governments to its pandemic diktats. In that new disposition of things, whatever Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says, goes! Lockdowns. Quarantine camps. Mandatory (improved) safe-and-effective vaccines. Nevermind what the actual citizens of Countries A, B, or C might otherwise decide for themselves under the obsolete system of national sovereignty. Follow the science, useless eaters of the world! (And please quit carping about it!)
Any resemblance of “Disease X” to the remaining global free speech platform (Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter), is just another bothersome conspiracy theory. Of course, theories imply the discovery of proofs, and it so happens that the unelected European Commission, under its Digital Services Act (passed in Nov., 2022), has already threatened Mr. Musk’s X to remove so-called hate speech, illegal content, and disinformation or face a fine amounting to 6-percent of its annual global revenue. Hate speech and disinfo are whatever the EU says it is, including information that is true but disagreeable to the agenda of all supranational orgs such as the EU, the WEF, and the WHO. Reminds us of something Pete Hogwallop once said to Ulysses E, McGill:
Double uggg! Hang in there Larry, spring is just around the corner... well, kinda.
Looks like you are going to get snowed in over the next couple of days, Flo. Get a big pot of chili going!
Hey now! I get the concept... the mercury will plummet to a bone chilling 56 tonight!
Wish I could help you Flo... had to switch my A/C on last night.
I was very impressed with my little switchgun's performance. I am not the world best shot....actually somewhat mediocre... but I hit the bullseye once on the 15ft target. 15 feet is much farther than I ever expect to have to use it for self defense. It's single action, so you have to cock the hammer and it's a bit of a pain to load. It's meant for emergency situations, not target practice, so the loading is not a big deal. I never shot a 22 mag before and was quite pleased with the difference over a 22 LR. It has a nice safety feature in that the cylinder can be set so that the hammer is not over the rim of a shell in case you drop it.
Once we got done trying out the new piece, I just folded it and dropped it in my shirt pocket while we moved on to shooting .38s.
Kunstler certainly has that gift. That's sure what it seemed like to me.

“The same people accusing Trump voters of subverting democracy are the ones who cheated in every election since the 1960s, lied to get us into half a dozen stupid wars, created Covid in a lab, and then covered that up. You are free to tell them to STFU” — Peachy Keenan
You know why the judge let provocateur Ray Epps off the hook for his antics before and during the so-called J-6 “insurrection,” don’t you? Well, yes, it was partly because he was acting at the direction of blob officials, most likely the FBI, but possibly the CIA, Defense Intelligence, or some black-box fed outfit no one ever of (but somehow gets half a billion in funding every year). Ol’ Ray, pleaded to one year’s probation (no jail time), 100 hours of community service (checking books out at his local library?), and a $500 fine. Say, what. . . ? A speeding ticket on the Rockville Pike would probably cost you more.
You remember those videos of Ray on the DC street the day before the riot, importuning the crowd, a commanding presence with his military bearing and red hat, six inches taller than most of the other men around him, yelling, “Tomorrow we need to go into the Capitol, into the Capitol!” At which moment the crowd groaned “no-o-o-o. . . !” and then commenced chanting, “fed. . . fed. . . fed. . . !” They had his number. His use of the word need was especially beguiling, as in, who actually “needed” that to happen?
I’ll tell you one reason Ray didn’t get, like, twenty years, nor two years of pre-trial detention in the reeking, roach-infested DC lockup, or massive fines, like other J-6 defendants: Because he told his handlers in no uncertain terms that he would blow their cover and vivisect them publicly on the whole fed J-6 operation if they so much as made him show up in person for any proceeding — and, of course, he “attended” his sentencing by phone, in a Zoom meeting from a remote location.
Okay, I’ll tell you the actual reason that Ray Epps got the VIP powder puff treatment: It was to give half of America a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. . . the old double-barreled middle finger. . . a thunderous fuck you, with the subtext: we can do anything we want to you and you can’t do anything about it. . . and we can rub your faces in it, too, ho ho. . . and then empty a bed pan over your head in case you’re not feeling sufficiently impotent and humiliated. And the purpose of all that is their hope to foment some act of genuine violent resistance against the blob to justify further lawless persecution of the blob’s enemies. They’re really hoping to set off a civil war to justify martial law in order to ensure a free and fair election.
The judge in the Ray Epps case is. . . wait for it. . . the fabulous judicial utility infielder, James Boasberg, now Chief Judge of the DC Federal District Court, a big cheese. Yes, the same rascal who sat on the FISA Court during the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” shenanigans, when they fed all manner of fake documents to that court to enable the FBI to conduct warrantless surveillance on Donald Trump’s campaign, and then afterwards on his presidency.
It was Judge Boasberg who let FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith off the hook with probation when he was charged with doctoring an email to conceal the fact that FBI target Carter Page had been an active CIA informer in Russia over the years, not just some schlub swanning around the fringe of the Trump Campaign. Getting a FISA warrant on Carter Page was tremendously advantageous to the FBI, because it enabled them to use the “three-hop rule,” meaning they could also surveil anyone else in the Trump retinue who Mr. Page had communicated with by phone or email.
The disposition of Ray Epps’s case also means there will be no further official inquiries into his behavior that fateful day 1/6/21. The principle of double jeopardy means he can’t be tried for the same thing twice. There will be no further inquiries into what he did that day and on J-6 itself when he appeared at the barricades on the Capitol grounds, apparently goading protesters to bust through them. It’s a dead letter. Chalk up a “W” for the blob.
But now, chalk up an “L” for the blob: Fani Wills, the Fulton County (GA) District Attorney, has been caught funneling more than half a million dollars to her love bunny, attorney Nathan Wade, after appointing him “special counsel” in the gigantic RICO case against Donald Trump and eighteen other defendants. Poor optics, as they say, and maybe a good deal more than that — such as prosecutorial misconduct. The fact that the lovestruck pair took Caribbean cruises together with that money may only be a minor part of the story. More will come out when Fani Willis answers the summons she has been served to give a deposition at the request of Joycelyn Wade’s lawyers in the Wades’ ongoing divorce proceeding.
More to the point, both Fani Willis and Nathan Wade (in her service) spent time consulting with lawyers at the White House before they filed charges against Mr. Trump. Mr. Wade was there on May 23 and November 19, 2022 talking to Joe Biden’s White House counsel for sixteen hours. Ms. Willis is shown by White House visitor logs to have been present for five hours a few months later, on February 18, 2023, a week after recommending charges to a Fulton County grand jury. The log states that she spent those five hours with veep Kamala Harris.
I doubt that is who she came to visit. My guess is that Ms. Willis spent those hours being coached by Deputy US Attorney General Lisa Monaco, possibly joined by Mary McCord, a former head of the DOJ’s National Security division during the “Crossfire Hurricane” years, then “outside counsel” to the first House impeachment committee, then counsel to the House J-6 committee. It was Ms. McCord, in Trump Impeachment # 1, who arranged for then DOJ Inspector General Michael Atkinson to change the whistleblower rules, allowing for hearsay evidence, which gave a green light to NSA mole Eric Ciaramella to report on the infamous Ukraine phone call that he had not personally witnessed (but was fed a story on by Col. Alexander Vindman.) Nice work there. In other words, these two gals, Lisa Monaco and Mary McCord, are the poison spiders in the DOJ web of veteran seditionists.
This week there is also chatter as to whether Special Counsel Jack Smith might ever actually bring an official federal “insurrection” charge against Mr. Trump to facilitate his “branding” so as to get him kicked off the ballot around the country. I doubt that’ll work out for Mr. Smith, too. If such a matter ever went to trial Mr. Trump would enjoy the right to “discovery” of all sorts of evidence that the DOJ and the FBI would never allow to see the light of day. So, Jack’s stuck with his lame cases now on the docket which, believe me, will be going nowhere.

Let the Games Begin
“To an authoritarian ruling elite insane narratives serve as both loyalty test and humiliation ritual.” —Kit Knightly
The ordeal of the holidays, and the void of action that attends it, is over. Now, history resumes its awesome out-spooling. Will it be tyranny, collapse, war, civil war, renewal? Probably some wicked combo of all that. The players are taking the field again. The great engine of the game comes back to life with a cough and a rumble.
Did you notice that “Joe Biden” ceremonially kicked off his “reelection campaign” with that speech at Valley Forge, blaring the “insurrection” klaxon? Is it not astounding that half the people in our country have no idea that the joke is on them? “Joe Biden” is marking time in the oval office until the moment he must use his unique legal prerogative to pardon himself and all the members of his family for their roles in the influence-peddling racket he fronted as veep. . . and then he’ll gallantly step aside.
The optimum play would be to hold off on that until just before the Democratic Party’s convention, where a claque of super-delegates can pick somebody else in a back room filled with estrogen vapors. It kind of depends on whether a faction of corruption-resistant Republicans will ante up for that impeachment inquiry we keep hearing about. Despite the obvious bullshit on CNN about “no evidence,” there is actually a garbage barge of evidence steaming up the Potomac to prove that “Joe Biden” sold out his country. It simply needs to be laid out with brutal decorum in the proper setting.
The catch is that a House committee can report out a bill of impeachment — as we’ve seen before — but a trial in a Democrat-majority Senate would probably fail to bring a conviction. The additional catch is that even so, the whole country will have watched the sordid spectacle and seen enough proof of malfeasance to foul the waters for the Party of Chaos in the November election, no matter who heads the ticket.
It must also be obvious that the party is running out of lawfare tricks for shackling Mr. Trump. Jack Smith’s J-6 case is a dog’s breakfast of erroneous supposition, misprision, and persecutorial misconduct, soon to be wrecked by the Supreme Court; the Mar-a-Lago raid case is a patent fraud; the Fulton County, GA, RICO case is a Fani Willis masturbation fantasy, and the two New York raps under DA Alvin Bragg and AG Letitia James will be laughed out of appeals courts. Anyway, Mr. Trump seems to thrive on the noxious vapors thrown off by these rancid actions. If all these genius moves fail, how else can they stop the Golden Golem of Greatness. . . and his promise of keen retribution for the serial hoaxes run on him and all the fiendish trips laid on the nation since 2016?
They can try to kill him. Can you put it past our “intel community”? It is exactly that nucleus of the DC blob that has the most to fear from a second Trump term. Dozens of them will be charged with sedition and even treason, a hanging crime. And if they succeed in whacking Mr. Trump, that would only leave a huge opening for Bobby Kennedy, who has an even bigger axe to grind against the agency that rubbed-out his father and his uncle.
We held a meet-up here this weekend in my little upstate New York town to make plans for the petition drive in April-May to get RFKJr on the New York ballot. I told the group that much as I would relish seeing Donald Trump mop up the floor with the people who perverted the rule of law and just about spatchcocked our country, I believe Bobby Kennedy would be a better choice to lead us through the dark defile of history that circumstance has jammed us in. He is just as determined to expunge the horrific blob corruption, but without Mr. Trump’s exasperating artifice and grandiosity. If anything, RFKJr appears unpretentiously authentic, respectful, resolute, and reverent about history’s tragic arc. You can imagine him persuading that deranged half of the country that the blob is not on their side, either.
So far, this scenario has left out several of the other dispiriting plays that could get our country into even deeper trouble than mere domestic politics offer. The “Joe Biden” regime, its NeoCon fellow travelers, and its mysterious globalist taskmasters, appear avid to start a big war, most likely by going after Iran — only to suck in Russia, Turkey, and a host of miscellaneous Islamic maniacs against us, and not in a way that radiates a great outcome.
The invasion of stateless mutts across the Mexican border looks like an accessory to that play, since it includes countless thousands of potential saboteurs who can wreak havoc in the homeland while our obsolete aircraft carrier groups get blown up in the Mediterranean. Even registered Democrats might finally notice that the open border is a problem.
And, black swans aside — because they are aside and unknowable by definition — there’s the excellent prospect of a financial fiasco in the works that would wipe the smiles off the smug faces of all the remaining elite Wokesters, blob handmaidens, and news media myrmidons who depend on Wall Street to pay their mortgages. The national debt is zooming at a trillion dollars every month or so now. You know that can’t go on, don’t you? If all else fails in this era of mass formation mind-fuckery, the disappearance of a whole lot of money might finally get people’s attention.
