KenMac, the 'moron' was from Joe Trippi who is now Howard Dean's manager. His company also works with Wave on PRs so I doubt he will ever post here again.
SDR is still a waviod. He will not be posting either due to his work load but he is still very much a Waviod.
Most are here and at the old DD board. Some will stay there as long as RB is working. I believe RB will self distruct at some point in time because there is literally no one there to fix things.

P.S. Also note my handle is Snackman62. There is another snackman that goes just by snackman. He is not me.
Should get it tomorrow or Tuesday. I have been in contact with cL and he is a very honorable fellow. I have never doubted I would receive the bet if I won. It is in the mail as we speak.
Snackman
michaele thanks for the kind words. I just believed. I never saw anything that told me to sell. The stock price is one thing, but the work that was going inside on told me we would eventually be successful. At least that is what my brain told me. The hand writting has been on the wall for years. The DD done by all the magnificent posters in our community should have told most that 'things were good' and were progressing.
It is going to be awesome or at least 'good' LOL.
Snackman
1wavoid, I hope to hear something about WaveXpress soon also.
The reason we have not gone after the music now, and Apple, is because I believe they have had their eye on the bigger picture which is being in every computer on the planet at some point in time.
Once we are deploy with millions of TPMs, that is when, I believe, metering will come back into focus. I believe we have the ultimate in a trojan horse. Once we are planted we can micro transact forever. I have always said we will be the toll booths of the Internet and I still believe that.
Music was never a high priority. They were looking at the bigger picture and Intel is one of the biggest pictures around.
Snackman
2b my thoughts exactly. Out of the 50 million float I would say there are at least 30 million that are in sure hands like you and me. That leaves about 20 million in the 'real' float. As more sure hands buy in the 'real' float deminishes.
The market goes up and down on supply and demand. As the float gets smaller and smaller and the demand gets bigger and bigger there is only one way the stock can go and that is up.
In the past three years we have had the opposite happen. With the validation of Intel and the guaranteed business of Intel, NSC, Infinion and hopefully IBM soon, Wave is now for real.
After the action of the last two days, don't think that Wave was not looked at over the week-end by major players. Wall Street had literally never heard of Wave until last Thursday. I doubt there is no major house today, that has not heard of Wave Systems.
I remember the day we moved $10.00 plus in one day after the AMD announcement. Of course that was during the bubble and we can't really count that. The market was not there yet even though we had the technology. Things are different this time around. The market is here now. HP and IBM are the first to enter that market. One year from now, a short 12 months from now, I predict that every CPU sold will have trusted computing. I also predict that we will be involved in everyone of them. We are the glue that holds it all together.
The share price will be very volatile over the next few weeks and months. Don't get caught up with the day to day movement. I know it could be discouraging to see us move up $2.00 and move back $1.00 before we move up again. This is healthy for the stock. As long as we can keep making higher lows we will move up substancial and it will be for real.
I see us going to $7.00, back to $5.50 up to $9.00 back to $7.50 and so on.
For all the longs that have suffered through the past three years, just sit back, relax, let the market do what the market always does and watch the real value of Wave grow. Trade if you must, but just remember that $10.00 day we had a few years ago. If you don't want to miss a move, just stay long and let the traders do their thing.

Look @ ragingbull there are 7 variations of the snackman handle
If I was really trying to steal his identity I would have used all capitals as he done over there. I am snackman, get used to it. I own a high five figure position in wavx & I would like to post freely on this thread without any more badgering about my handle, regards snackman.
snackman, that is not true. On the WAVXDD board there is and was only one Snackman of any discription.
For a poster that says he was there, you never posted under any handle with snackman. Why now?

Trance, since you asked, I will not forgive you and I wish I could put you on ignore but I can't. I will read everyone of your posts and will watch them carefully.
Speaking for myself you are not welcomed here but that does not mean you can not post here as long as you obey the rules.
Carpet bombing posts and one liners are not acceptable here. Repetition and off topic is not acceptable here.

I expect serious appreciation in our stock price going forward from here.
There are many still here that were burned badly by buying Wave on margin the last time around.
I urge all to resist buying this stock on margin. Wave will be very volatile, especially in the early years of it's rise. The stock price will not go straight up and those that buy on margin can, and will, get wiped out on a downward correction.
Only buy what you can afford to lose. DO NOT BUY ON MARGIN. When you do, all you are saying to yourself is that you are buying something you can not afford (like buying it with a credit card) and you surely can not afford to lose it if it's bought with money you do not have.
Be prudent and be wise. Only buy what you can afford to lose.
Snackman
Bluefang, from the article "Why should customers adopt Wave's technology now if, in two years, Microsoft is coming out with the same thing," Pescatore said".
That's like saying: Why buy a computer today when some PCOEM will have twice the speed two years from now? If a company needs a computer for it's business now, are they going to wait two years for more speed or are they going to buy a computer now?
Does anyone think IBM, HP, Intel, AMD are going to wait for MSFT to control this thing two years from now?? No way. MSFT may own the world but they will not own trusted computing or trusted services or microtrasactions any of of Wave's patents. And they sure as heck will not own TCG.
MSFT does not have what Wave has so they can not becoming out with the same thing in two years anyway.
As awk would say "Thing are good".

Tony, I wrote: I predict that the stock, which is dropping off its highs now in premarket, will attempt to rally and then close at its lows of the day.
What has the stock done? It fell off in pre-market from its highs, opened, attempted a rally, failed at its pre-market highs, and I believe my prediction will continue on its accurate course and A CLOSE AT THE DAY'S LOWS will happen.
Pay attention.

zen, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary from you. You've always been a straight shooter in my book. I enjoy your posts very much.
Thanks to and and everyone for the nice words. I am now able to talk to my family and friends again. You won't believe the first words out of everyone's mouth. "I should have bought some more at $.85". Should of would of could of. The magic words of traders. That is why I am not a trader. I will just hold for the end game.
I am very happy with today's close. I think we will be much higher a week from today.
We traded over 1/2 million shares after hours. Trading at $3.77. Like Jesse said, I expect to see the five dollar range on Monday or Tuesday. Maybe be even $7 or $8 by week end. We'll see.
For my 'friends' that would like to hang me on any missed word or prediction, the above paragraph is not a prediction just a hope and a prayer.
Snackman
P.S. Any dramatic announcement next week will fulfill my 'prediction'.
soros man nice to see you again too. Sorry, I don't understand your last line. Maybe you can send me a private message and explain it to me.

Wave Systems Announces Secure Services Support For IBM ThinkPad Notebooks and NetVista Desktops
The Industry’s First Trust Infrastructure Services for TCG Platforms Using EMBASSY® Trust Services to be Demonstrated at RSA Conference 2003
San Francisco, CA – April 10, 2002 – Wave Systems Corp. (NASDAQ: WAVX – www.wave.com), a leader in delivering trusted computing applications and services with advanced products, infrastructure and solutions across multiple trusted platforms, announced it will demonstrate EMBASSY® Trust Services for Trusted Computing Group (TCG) platforms working with IBM’s Embedded Security Subsystem V2.0 on IBM ThinkPad notebooks and NetVista desktops at the RSA Conference 2003.
Based on industry standards, the IBM Embedded Security Subsystem uses encryption keys and processes to help secure data, communications and identity. It consists of both a hardware component, the cryptographic security chip, which supports key storage, privacy encryption and digital signatures for authentication of identity, and a downloadable software component, Client Security Software, which interfaces to the user and to other software applications. Because critical security functions take place within the protected environment of the chip, the system is inherently more secure than software-only solutions.
Wave’s EMBASSY Trust Services use industry standard interfaces to work with the Embedded Secure Subsystem cryptographic security chip. Initial services demonstrated at RSA include Wave’s eSIGN Transaction Manager Suite, offering digital signature and digital document storage services, and an industry first, Wave’s TCG compliant trust infrastructure server, which creates and validates a trust relationship between a PC and enterprise applications needing verification of identity.
IBM’s Embedded Security Subsystem and Wave’s EMBASSY Trust Services are compliant with industry standards established by the newly formed Trusted Computing Group, an industry group focused on the creation of industry standards across multiple platforms for Trusted Computing. TCG was announced on April 8, 2003 with IBM as a promoting member and Wave Systems as a contributing member.
"Hardware-based PC security has gained significant momentum since IBM introduced the capabilities in 1999," said Lark Allen, Wave’s executive vice president, Business Development. "As TCG-compliant solutions gain a larger part of the enterprise marketplace, we believe a robust suite of secure services, including a trust infrastructure, will make trusted computing even more useful and valuable. IBM already has a significant customer installed based of TCG-compliant systems, so this is an immediate opportunity for Wave Systems to deliver the most comprehensive set of Trusted Computing services in the industry."
The TCG compliant solution and EMBASSY Trust Suite of services will be demonstrated at the RSA Security Conference 2003 trade show at Wave Systems’ Booth #1612. Customer appointments may be made by contacting Brian Berger, senior vice president, sales, at bberger@wavesys.com.
Wave EMBASSY Trust Services includes a suite of enhanced applications for trusted digital signatures, secure document storage, secure document management and powerful privacy options.
In addition, a key Wave component demonstrated at RSA is the TCG-compliant trust infrastructure server. The trust services are an optional server infrastructure that can manage trust domains and the distribution of secure identities, applications and services to platforms containing trusted hardware. The trust infrastructure server will allow for ongoing upgrading of the combined product solutions, including the services, after the products have reached the marketplace.
More information on IBM’s PC security solutions may be found by going to www.ibm.com. More information on Wave Systems’ EMBASSY Trust Services is available at www.wave.com.

Jesse you said "Intel closes the other deals in the wings. IBM, HP, you know, all those deals we couldn't close or that atrophied on the vine".
That is why I say that Wave's work is done. Everyone else will be selling our technology for us. We just have to sit back and run the register.
Snackman
If this isn't AWESOME I don't what is.
Snackman
Bluefang, you are the best. Good luck my friend.
Snackman
Bluefang I understand your feelings about management in the past because of all the delays and supposed broken promises. But remember this, the Intel deal did not happen over night. I would guess it has taken them years of work with Intel to get to this point. So while many were critizing management, they keep their noses to the grindstone and made it happen.
For all those that said they couldn't close a deal, I think you all owe management one big apology.
Snackman
Just so everyone knows snackman is not me. I am Snackman62.
This poster does not want to give up his handle so just remember if there in not a 62 at the end of Snackman it is not me.
Snackman
Would anyone like to be short over the week-end? I think not.
Small $.10 and $.15 back and fills is good for the price right now. Nothing goes straight up. Think long term here folks.
Snackman
So far our volume is higher than Intel and Msft this morning.
What did we say months ago? Watch the volume?
Snackman
Jabeaux, I am leaning toward the summer also as that is when they have the best deals.
Snackman
It is getting late. Can't even spell leeway and encourage correctly. See you all in the morning.
Snackman
P.S. Ask yourselves this: Would you want to be short over the week-end? Tomorrow could be very good.
redau, great site. IHUB has given this board a lot of leaway today of posts that they would normally not allow. I am sure they will bear with us another few days.
Yes, this is the final stop. I encourge everyone to join this site and take part in their great features.

I am positive you will see $20.00 again and it won't take years to get there. In my opinion it will only take months.

IAMSAM, according to Lark Allen, white box makers account for close to 50% of the PC market.
Anyone think Dell will be along shortly?
Snackman
Nelzoni and Nelzoni, it appears that I should start getting open dates in Las Vegas for our party for next year. It will happen in 2004. Tha waiting is over.
Not only was it written but now everyone has reading it too.
Done deal. But we knew that all along didn't we?
Snackman
rachelelise, not only did Intel validate Wave forever but just think of the press Wave is about to receive. Paper, Internet and Television. We are on the map. It's gonna be: should I say it?, Nah. but it is gonna.....................
Snackman
Please, everyone read this.
Just got home. What a day.
I had a conversation with someone at the company today. It seems that Intel is getting a ton of calls. It would be very prudent if everyone did not call Intel. We do not want to blow this deal.
I was told that companies like Intel shy away from announcements like we had today and wait for the product to be shipped first before they announce anything. I believe we will see some shipped product this fall, so please, do not call them.
The girl that was taking the calls today did not know much, because the girl that normally would take the call is on vacation.
It would behove us all if we do not call Intel.
Let's not give anyone any chance of blowing this.
Thank you,
Snackman

Security underdog Wave Systems wins Intel pact
Thursday July 31, 12:28 pm ET
NEW YORK, July 31 (Reuters) - Wave Systems Corp., which for years has struggled to win recognition for its novel method of securing digital content against unauthorized copying, said on Thursday it had agreed with Intel Corp. to a technology pact.
Wave Systems shares rocketed 97 percent to $1.66 after it said the deal would allow Intel to embed Wave's software and services in a future Intel motherboard -- the internal chassis that holds the chips used to run desktop personal computers.
Wave Systems of Lee, Massachusetts, said the deal with Intel promises to accelerate the market for so-called "trusted computing," which is an industry-backed concept for making the transfer of digital information more secure on computers by implanting technology that makes each computer identifiable.
"Wave helps fill a critical requirement for trusted computing services," said Michelle Johnston, acting director of marketing for Intel Desktop Board Operations, said in a statement. "We believe (Wave software) will provide good value for our customers looking for trusted computing applications."
Wave said it recently announced a licensing agreement with National Semiconductor Corp. (NYSE:NSM - News) to bundle Wave's security software with National's semiconductor module for use in building trusted computers. It has a similar deal with Infineon Technologies AG (XETRA:IFXGn.DE - News) of Germany.
Well Bob, thanks for stopping by. Good luck with your investments.
See ya,
Snackman
Bob, nothing is a sure thing. If you are here for that good luck.
I guess we will just have to wait until we see how good this announcement is. When the share price hits $10.00 at some point in time, I would assume the announcement is good.
Snackman
P.S. Darn, I have to leave all this, one of the biggest days in Wave's history, to go play bridge. Oh well, the day should end up.
P.P.S. Anyone ever think they will see sub $1.00 price again? Delisting is a no go forever.
Does anyone believe SKS was in the Bay Area last week to work with a small company regarding voting machines?
Snackman
crazylarry our bet is now official. I want to thank you and I will give you a chance to get even if you come up with something else that sounds reasonable. We will have to talk about this off IHUB as we can not do it here.
Thank you,
Snackman
