Congrats to DNAP. Finally a drug company just like Tony told us in Austin last year.
Good to talk to you recently, NoviceTX. Our timing was a little off, but not our faith.
I recall vividly sitting there with you, Tony and Grateful and hearing him tell us the future.
Tam - I'm interested in your thoughts. I've been on the sidelines for the last few months working on my business. Do you still have my email address? tia mjam
OT - Grateful, I just had a conversation with NoviceTX regarding a possible Texas road trip to the stockholder's meeting. NoviceTX is considering flying or driving. Are you interested?
mjam
kudos to those who put the list of questions together... very impressive, polite and professional while getting to the core issues... sorry I haven't been around to participate but it's obvious we still have a group heavily involved and willing to remain long, not to mention a collaborative effort of some with differing opinions... thanks again, I look forward to the response!
Doug - thanks for your service. I look forward to your continued input. Ming - great choice, thanks for your continued commitment.
dnapfan - my question was about whom you think is a respected poster at RB, and I respectfully submit it again.
Arch kicks butt almost every night... and I enjoy reading it!
dnapfan - If you've fallen for the "drunk Arch" routine you have a long ways to go before gaining any credibility. Either you are a part of perpetuating the myth or a slow learner. And GLTU also.
dnapfan - I don't know you are or your stance as I am mostly absent these days, but if you think many "RB respected posters think dnap might be a scam in the making." please note who these posters might be. In my view any "respected RB posters" have not stated so. But I might respect different posters than you do. If you are worried then stay over at RB. If you choose to state your opinion of who those posters are I certainly welcome any subsequent debate. And GLTU also.

Robert - Couldn't be said better... "In any case....major drug trials with one of the nation's top cancer research center...using drugs from one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies... Awesome!"
May I repost on RB?
BTK serial killer in Wichita, KS resurfaces after 25 years with letter to local paper. Police testing potential DNA on letter for clues to identity. Ya think they would want to know what the guy looks like from his DNA?
ming - I agree.
ming - I exchanged emails with Genelink. They have no relationship with DNAP at this time, but did "use their lab" at one time. My question asked the involvement of DNAP in the Dermagenetics(TM) testing system. FWIW
lauty - most on this board are long and waiting on huge gains and the joy of being a part of DNAP's contributions to human-kind through personalized medicine.
The quick-gain traders are on RB. Let us know what you decide, and good luck!
amen, angelfund
the flip on this was extremely fast, maybe 3 minutes before "selling on the news" kicked in...
let's see if we can work back up to .07 before the close.
the people who knew about the PR in advance and ran us up this morning got out very quickly, satisfied with 25 - 35%
where's the news?
Watch the Boulder Channel 4 video clip - very nice!
I hope we have not been lulled to sleep. We were for the most part confirmed with involement in the Ramsey case tonight. Dr. T basically told us of this last summer. And this is only forensics...
cowboyd - but could we not be both?
Mike - I don't mean to be facetious. Doug's reply is right on target. The acquisition, partnership, merger or whatever form the drug company would take must involve existing drugs already in or entering phase III in order to meet the timeline as communicated by Tony to us in Austin and in TWST.
Whether the drug(s) are in the statin class or not is one question to ponder, but I'm being greedy when I bring that in to play. My impression is that there are small to mid range companies out there that fit this bill (having drugs that would benefit from our science to improve response rate and already in late phase II or early phase III). At one time we discussed trying to find out which companies these are (couldn't be too hard for the astute DD crew here).
Would these drugs be partnered with a test kit from DNAP or would they be altered? Are these drugs generic versions of drugs that have lost patent protection or are they new? I think these are very interesting questions.
A lot of this we hashed out several months ago. I'll go back and check some of my old posts when the next happy hour hits and I can act like a full fledged member.
OT: sorry, its, not it's in last post...
Mike - Your logic is correct, so apply it to the statement. Obviously we couldn't become wildly profitable in 1 - 3 years if we were in the business of starting a drug company from scratch and waiting 10 years for the first product to come to market. Given our science and it's potential applications and relationships with existing drugs, how would you envision this statement coming to fruition?
Mike - P.S. The math on the clock starting to tick 6 months ago added to the 20 months created by the La Jolla funding fits in to the 1 - 3 year time frame Tony gave in Austin, doesn't it? He just might know what he's doing...
Mike - I would post from my history if I had that function available. I went on ad nauseum if I recall about my impression of what Tony was telling us in Austin regarding becoming a drug company and wildly profitable.
In a nutshell, I look for some type of merger / acquisition with a smaller existing drug company with drug(s) already in the pipeline that would benefit from our science.
No time to expound now. It's been hashed out many times before. Many clues in the TWST article, then assumptions / confirmations in research done by the stellar DD crew here.
Tony gave a 1 - 3 year time frame for the wildly profitable scenario to come to fruition. That clock started ticking last summer at the Austin meeting (IMO).
Mike - the "wildly profitable" statement Tony made to us in Austin was made in the context of DNAP becoming a drug company.
I'm back - looks like I didn't miss too much. My dad called me during the mini-run on New Year's Eve and I had him read me a few snippets from here and RB to determine cause and effect. Looks like the CNN / ABC quote from Zach stirred things up and the traders came and played. Fair synopsis?
GE - phenomenal news! Your hugs are returned! Merry Christmas!
OT: While I'm here this morning I wanted to take a moment and send all of you in the IHUB family of DNAPpers my best wishes and hopes for a wonderful holiday during this joyous time of year!
I rely heavily on the atmosphere of trust and excellent sources of due diligence that one always finds here. To those who provide the most, and we all know who they are, I extend my fondest thanks and hope that you are able to continue your good work.
Merry Christmas to All and A Happy New Year! mjam
OT: ming! so glad to see you post! I knew deep down you didn't really leave us!
Speaking of leaving us, td is either on hiatus at RB, has been tossed for conspiring to manipulate stock prices or is executing his threat to bring down the weight of the entire short selling world on our heads. I hope he chose not to do that. I actually felt a fleeting moment of sorrow for him last week as he showed some brief traits of humanity before he went off like a rocket.
Anyway, glad to have you back and I look forward to more insights from you soon!
Gold Eagle - add me to the list of heartfelt wishes that all turns out well for your son and your family during this time of need.
ming - you're about the only poster here more sensitive than my wife accuses me of being. Please don't get frustrated by the response or lack of response you see here or on RB. There are so many players and personalities in play that sometimes one's principles or intentions get lost. Your personae has waffled lately and I regret that. Stick to your beliefs and principles, don't let the negatives influence you. You ARE mingwan0!
ming - don't even go near that bs - you're an integral part of what we do here - I will not further dignify your post - you keep up your good work, it's greatfully appreciated...
Arch - you called the rally, it just fizzled out. Some of the index traders got out at a 1% gain and snuffed out the flame. Reminded me of a DNAP rally!
billyboy - I'm a nice guy and all, but I must ask you this, just what is it you see through your admittedly young and inexperienced eyes that "dont look good any way you view it"?
Your analysis of the filing is much appreciated.
billyboy - you can't play down here in penny land with money you need. We're all here to make a LOT of money, but most of us on this board knew coming in that it would most likely take years, not weeks or months. We've had a lot of ups and downs. If we had held our money and waited to invest 3 years after we started researching DNAP we'd be better off financially now, but we would have been wondering if we were going to get left at the station when the train pulled off.
Perhaps your investment style is more suited to blue chips with dividends.
If you choose to stay, hold on because it will not be boring over the next few months and year.
Let's watch to see how much negativity will be generated by the VERY cautionary language required by the SEC in the S-2 just filed...
Is it time to buy more, will weaker hands sell?
ming - you are THE MAN...
Jim - got your private reply - I concur - trying to play nice and within the new rules. I actually think I'm more productive this way...
