I'm so fur under water I could probably buy a piece (not a pack) of gum if I sold....ain't that kind of an investor anyhow
TR, are we getting a little edgy?
I like this investment as much as anyone and have put my money where my mouth runs.... I am finding this investment to be one that I am not able to be as objective about simply because I can't even discuss it in a level headed manner. I have pretty much written this one off because of it. If it happens in another 10 years or so, great.
But to try to discuss it like I do any other investment that I am involved with, it just isn't there.
Our board is starting to sound like the boy with his finger in the dike...simply desperate.
I am going to say, I told you so, I told you Cal was in dangerous times, oh, we couldn't say that on the boards though.
I am tellin you right now, FASC is in a lot more dangerous times, with his loss, than any body on this board wants to admit...
Don't worry, I won't bother you much though, I seem to have gotten busy here lately,,,
TR, check out my picture, "I'm muzzled". lol
Tr, I agree, I really think 2011 will be a good year for the weedie, a lot of projects and a fair amount of momentum is building imo. It would be nice if in a Chinese sort of way we could call it, "2011 as the year of the weedie".
Tech, I'm just a late bloomer...lol
Now I am even having fun at work, check out my "Two for one custom built screw driver". It makes installing the Grill*Buster brush mounting screws a piece of cake. lol

The safety grill is being mfged as we type..lol I weigh 236 Lb and it pushes me like a feather
beischens,,,took the words right outa my key board...lol
For those of you who still has a bit of kid left, check out my AirTrike. Did one like it as a kid,,,building the prop guard today...pretty fast

TR, cause he does his own sales for his business..lol probably could charm a snake in a basket...
Fas, we can only hope,,,over 100 mil fams in the country.
TR,,,I was more excited that obviously, they now have a scale model for trade shows, at least it appears that way to me...and if it is somewhat operational, probably just at low speeds and no material so people can see the blades turning, they don't use chains any more, do they?
I feel and look like an oldtimer..lol
do you think they really operate it with that see through body? It looks as though they have cables hooked up to the motor!!
Charlie,,,were the others built in and operating like the KDS? Or just set up for a visual?
If they were just set up for a visual, what a dif compared to being a sold system up and operating.
Sarge, and with the price pressure this morning we can get them cheaper than in a long time,,,,wish I had the funds.
Thought for the day: In KSR v. TELEFLEX
"A person of ordinary skill is also a person of ordinary creativity, not an automaton."
Hong...we are sorta gettin desperate,,,,dig up some good news for us
Net-man my opinion, fwiw, We can only hope,,,
Paradigm shifts are usually noted in retrospect,,,, maybe, just maybe, we all will be known as astute investors one day.
TR,,,you said it much better than I could,,,agree
Sarge, agree with you completely and if I had available cash I would be watching for an entry point,,,,I do think the market is way incorrect on this one....
I will be cheering for all buyers,,,and not a bit afraid for my investment, being in it for long term,,,no biggie.
Body blow to green/alternate energy last night,,,I predict short term sub penny for FASC
TR - we may tease once in a while but I can say for me, I do appreciate what you do for us.
Sarg,,,I like the 10-20 mill number a lot better...lol
so is .017 our new base?
Or at least before the final extention thereafter,,,
Charlie...what count do we have to get to in order to do anything?
anybody home???
beischens,,,lol, I see that summary as, what a wonderful place to be selling a super efficient drying aparatus,,,,
They can't live without a KDS,,,need to make a counter top model for drying/grinding their coffee beans in the morning.
On second thought, this new career in product developement has consumed me.
Steve..If you haven't notice you have entered the center of the most holy cathedral of the order of FASC believers...lol
Be very careful with your soul here, it may become tainted...
We have all tasted the elixir and of some sort or other are believers..lol
Even the nonbelievers are a bit of a cult following, enough so that many of us believe because of the intense strength of their non-belief....
I just wish I had some cash, these are some buying times,,imo
So, maybe today, we all could tell everybody how we really feel? lol
Btw, being one of the few, if the only to challenge some of the "almost" todamoon posting pre anual report. I now challenge the "almost" bashing that imo, is happening now.
I will quote the same news articles I posted to challenge the other extreme posting. It is a nasty business enviroment out there and an even more hostile enviroment this last quarter for green energy financing.
Our team did infact accomplish a 70% positive YOY on revenues... Not a single business owner, including myself piped up and said "Oh, but I did better than that last year." So I am assuming non of us did....
In short, I think we all need to shut up and let them continue to focus on what they are doing,,,,all these phone calls and pestering is just, not doing our home work, and instead, imo, plain whining....
Do I like the obvious fact that at least some of their potential deals have at best been delayed, and at worst fallen through? No, I don't like it any more than anyone else. Like my wife says................
In my dreams,,,lol
When I'm feeling down, my wife says "Suck it up, your the one who bought that impossible long shot" lol,,,I learned to not tell her about pps downers...
rj2 whatever it takes...we gotta find something to sell to get this pps headed north again..lol
rj2,,,how bout for starters,,,,
"All CEO's from every green energy company in the world was on hand and even fighting to get in line for afalfa pellets to take home with them."
)
TR Is FASC a closed end company?
Closed-end companies cannot retain earnings, because they distribute essentially all of there realized income, and capital gains each year. (from the rights article)
so TR, are these like options that are given to employees that they can redeme later after the price has gone up??? To this less educated ear it didn't sound so impressive during a quick read?
in the U.S. over time......... Most of us understand, it is just the "over time" that is a little ambiguous. Thank goodness our fearless leaders started a long time ago to look world wide under every rock or we would be in a lot worse shape than we are. imo
rj,,,legit points
Steve,,,from reading your 22 posts on this alias, you seem to be a very seasoned poster.
Net-Man I agree, I find it pretty reasuring that our staff had sniffed out these hot spots long before they became apparent to the rest of us.
I have to say,,,,seriously,,,,they are worth their pay..
What would we have with out them? Another or 2 more vidio stores.
It took them a lot of guts to clean up and refocus this company and then to just keep pushing....You if anybody knows how much fun it is to be at the nose of the snow plow.
You beat me to my own punch line...lol
Yes, exactly, imo, we have a great staff, a great product that gets better with age (like me).
And a nasty, world wide business enviroment. Imo, 10 years from now it will be acknowledged to have been at least as bad as the Great Depression in adjusted dollars, if for no other reason than it's world wide reach.....
Tough sleddin for a micro sized world wide company,,,that still had a 70% YOY increase in revenues...
I don't think we can blame mgmt for this.
