There are bad actors, and then there are award winners. Is it genius to claim all knowledge of the circumstances? Everyone's an expert. Some individuals have full faith their elected government, others do not. And many would just prefer to know all the circumstances of how they are currently up poop creek. Is it possible that it's just some actors involved that have ruined the play? What if the actual play had future potential, and the actors were replaced or pushed out? And how exactly did these actors' prior performances directly impact the current production?
Agreed. SEC is responding to complaints, many of them invalid. AND they may have a perverted agenda. Since most people don't know that regular reporting and non-reporting OTC stocks report and operate differently, lawyers write these blogs with baseless arguments, and instead attempt to attract potential business and attach profiles defaming certain officers. Regardless of the seemingly surfaced bad actors, there may still be a few good ones in a company that is poised for growth.
Oh really?
Dude why blow your horn too soon? We're in a holding pattern at present. You invested in a stock that's "currently" under investigation. No charges have been filed, as of this date, as far as my legal detection goes.
Yeah whatever. Those of us who are still long: We are either going to come out clean someday or chance losing it all. So, for those of us investors who haven't yet sold until the real truth is out: Might as well relax...
Here is the press release from the morning:
http://www.otcmarkets.com/otciq/ajax/showNewsReleaseDocumentById.pdf?id=1346460204
Is that what he said?
"In executing the warrant" I believe is what was posted.
That is not what you pointed out.
Selling a different class of shares, or increasing float to raise capital, or pay down debt, is legal, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think you have done all your research. Good luck.
At least we have a statement today that shows some good faith.
My point exactly. A+
Lesson #1 again:
"OTC Pink is the Open Marketplace with Variable Reporting Companies and has no disclosure requirements, although companies may voluntarily provide information to investors".
Which statements?
Taken from http://www.otcmarkets.com/learn/otc101-faq
OTC Pink is the Open Marketplace with Variable Reporting Companies and has no disclosure requirements, although companies may voluntarily provide information to investors.
I'm not incriminating anyone. I'm in the truth seeking stage. I'm long. I'm not selling yet. And I want this off the Greys. I'm swayed to the side of the company until I'm proven wrong. The SEC should not claim to be protecting investors without disclosure. Fukk it why not find the truth? See the world from above. I will continue to watch and evolve. I will protect my investment and not so much whomever is to blame. Now is not yet the time to jump to conclusions.
Good luck with that one pal
Nope. One can not make a claim without justification. On what grounds? If you have a case then state it. The truth shall set you free.
Where are you looking? I see evidence of compliance. Are you saying these are actually unfiled? Please explain:

Getting to the bottom of the truth is tricky. Getting a read on FINRA even trickier. No one answers the phone at the company because they can't say anything while under investigation, as long as the SEC is on their ass, and publicly incriminating them where there is no fault yet proven except potentially with the regulators themselves..
I don't think you're drinking the Kool-aid. There's a lot of short pumpers in here that don't know what it means to be an "investor" in an investor's hub. I hope what you say is true, and my own intuition is like minded. Sometime's one has nothing to follow but their own gut.
Sure it does. SEC can call it whatever it wants.
Honestly my feeling is big brother is targeting the "pot stock"s. They really were on the program already, just had some hasty impatient complainers, and we are where we are because of that. Now the FINRA has to investigate and that could take however long it takes. There is no scam. When that is cleared up, is my question.
It's only "temporarily" suspended.
Where's the list of temporarily suspended that were suspended and then reinstated on the Pinks?
I want that list.
If your real world can't support a source then sorry I think your case is SOL. I didn't find anything there.
Where's your source? Please include your source otherwise it's BS.
There is no grounds to sue this company for things generally implied in a video of the CEO. If you are confused about who to sue, watch the video again. He made no guarantees...
At the direction of the SEC. Congratulations predatory shorts. Surely you will be covering asap.
Awesome when there is agreement. Yes these companies may have been "targeted" for being MJ companies. SEC guidelines prohibit targeting of certain industries or peoples. But they've already blown that policy by publicly warning about MJ start ups. SEC is in over their head now.
I invested in this company because the float was low. When the float is low the price can be volatile. Anyone who understands how markets work should be able to understand this. Also companies have a right to raise capital and pay down debt. This is a legitimate start up and should never have been suspended. First quarter earnings came out last week just as the suspension hit. If the SEC's suspension is as a result of unfounded unnecessary complaints and tarnishes this company's ability to continue to do business, then the SEC should be held accountable.
Oh sure. SEC is busy doing almost whatever they want looking out for me as an investor.
I just found the SEC online complaint portal! Anyone can do it, and anyone can do it anonymously! If you do it anonymously though you can't be eligible for the whistle blower award! And no you don't have to disclose information about your position! Wow!
You seem to know a lot about it. Without faith in government and with no way of knowing, I'm left to ponder. How does the SEC do its investigating in a particular case like this? Without knowing, I'm left to ponder. It's a wandering unknown. And yes I live in the desert already. And I'm exceptionally dumb.
"Deep" as in price! Ya. Shorts have been doing very well. Accept the one's that borrowed much lower with less days to cover. Capiche? It's an exciting hypothesis isn't it? Call it crazy and enjoy your lunch. Does the SEC judge whether a petitioner is long or short? Nope.
June 2 we'll see. I'd say that the shorts are looking great when it opens lower. Better cover quick though please! (I'm very long and deep in the muck). No one to blame - yet.
I don't think so. But thanks for the advice. If I were deeply short this it might put me in a panic enough to where I'd call the SEC and complain about a lack of disclosure. God help me if they'd actually do the duty and halt trading! Same could be said for any one long for that matter, who can't ride the wave of the unknown for a while until earnings. I guess I shouldn't put it on the shorts ;) I can see you're sensitive about that.
SEC should lift this halt.
Shorting penny stocks is big business:
http://www.timothysykes.com/2014/03/376-million-marijuana-stock-will-crash/
Shorts complain all the time. These message boards are full of them. I'm sure you are aware.
SEC AT FAULT! LIFT THE HALT!
I'm an investor. Do I think the SEC is protecting my investment? HELL NO!
This is tyranny.
Now they want me to sue the company I invested in. Hell no. The SEC should be sued.
I saw enough compliance the day before the halt. The stock rebounded!
http://www.otcmarkets.com/financialReportViewer?symbol=FSPM&id=120814
All I see is prohibition against a company that has never sold anything illegal.
SEC AT FAULT! LIFT THE HALT! SEC! I'M AN INVESTOR! PROTECT ME! YOU CAN'T HALT A STOCK BECAUSE A FEW SHORT SELLERS COMPLAIN!
It's obvious you have something against pot stocks. We know. And we know you've been trying to pump this thing short for whatever reason for a long time. Why repeat yourself if no one is listening?
I've been long for a long time. I believe the SEC will find some minor discrepancy (sp) to cover their ass for halting this stock. So bad news for all unfortunately. We longs are now being pounded on all fronts by a mass of short propaganda and fear.
It's too bad that these propogations are supported in America. People will try to get an advantage wherever they can on whichever side regardless of any actual fault of the company. The company was not under certain obligation to report certain things. Legit start up companies sell stock to raise cash and pay off debt every day. That's why they go public. A shareholder who can't wait for stock returns and complains to an ineffable SEC body, ruins it for all shareholders. Such a shame.
SEC halts only make things worse for investors, and better for short sellers.
Did the SEC start an investigation before they halted?
Looks like I'm screwed here now. But I still believe legit start up companies have the right to sell shares to raise capital, or pay down debt.
Certainly these message boards continue to explode while we wait for news, bringing more attention to the stock. Does anyone think the SEC will make a statement declaring no fraud was found?
Good luck low life.
You were right. Nice bounce since you bought.
No more selling. A very poor short. If this is one of the few OTCs where the shorts will throw in the towel and can find no more shares, how will this play out for the longs?
