Nowhere did it say they had a working card. Their statements lacked any substance or evidence. Look at the countries they intend to roll out in.... I guess they may have patent issues in the States eh...
The article was more about an intention to list on an exchange and find investors.
Before you argue again, show us where and whom we can buy their card from.
You can’t buy a SMME card either yet but we may have solid interest from the Servired banks soon......
It was an admin error by the regulator lol.
Please elaborate, that would be a great result.
I’m not saying anything, Avantis actions speak for themselves.
I don’t see any other biometric cards in the marketplace. If I’m wrong please tell me how I can get one.
Well Advantis decided to pass on whatever 10 cards you feel are available and chose SMME,
What does that say about it?
Because biometric cards are the future. SMME have the best product out there and you will soon see it in action.
Can’t wait to see and read about the new card.
Of course, stay tuned. Don't be caught short.
Huge news and could well be the turning point for this company.
Servired is owned by a collective of banks. The demand for the card will come internally so they do not need to advertise externally on their website.
Once an order is placed I’m sure you will see it advertised on all there pages.
Moving Forward.....
SmartMetric Reports That It is Nearing Completion of the Integration of Advantis Chip and Operating System That is Used by over 100 Banks Worldwide into the SmartMetric Fingerprint Biometric Card Platform.
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/smartmetric-reports-nearing-completion-integration-181500293.html
SmartMetric is moving forward with the offering of its biometric credit card solution to card issuing banks globally. It is now manufacturing the card with an Advantis EMV Chip and the Advantis operating system. Advantis chip and operating system on credit and debit cards is being used by more than 100 Banks worldwide and has been issued on more than 1.3 Billion credit/debit cards to date
Do you honestly think that servi red would allow things to go this far if they thought they couldn't sell it?
SmartMetric is Now Manufacturing Its Biometric Credit Card with the Advantis Chip and Operating System.
read this link, it helps to explain.

Quarterly reports won't be any different than the usual yet.
Found this.

Thanks, but I was referring to Australian timezone as most investors are from this part of the world.
Were you at the conference? Anything else you can share?
First day of the card being shown in the public domain at the payment conference.
Share price basically tripled to 14.9c but closed up 88%
Volume hits above 1 million. Long time since that’s happened.
Chaya doesn’t present until Thursday night so this move based on attendees liking what they see at the stall.
Seems promising to me......
The board surprisingly quiet....
It seems Chaya having some success at the payments conference.
It was a joint release that’s is why both had their contact details attached to it.
Well we will find out soon enough.
https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190222005446/en/SmartMetric-Biometrics-Card-Leads-Biometric-Security-Credit
Informative piece that outlines the benefits of the SMME card compared to its competitors.
There is little doubt this space is set to boom.
Didn't make any sense to me...
Well what does that suppose to mean? Of course they don’t, it’s a mutually beneficial partnership. You need clarification.
Kr26 please show evidence of other companies making sales of biometric cards. Can you produce some revenue numbers please.
As I said it’s been the same for years so nothing has changed. I would suggest not to focus on past but focus on the future prospects.
Reads very well to me. Looking forward to hearing of the next development.
As for the low back balance, cash in hand has always been very low. They sell enough shares to keep funding the development of the card when required. It hasn't been an issue for 14 years although, I agree it's not ideal.
Receive good exposure...

US-based technology company SmartMetric has inked an agreement with Spanish card payment scheme ServiRed to manufacture the SmartMetric biometric credit card.
SmartMetric will develop a solution that enables scanning and matching of a cardholder’s fingerprint in less than one second.
The firm said that the partnership with ServiRed will enable it to expand its sales and marketing into Europe.
At present, ServiRed is said to have 44 million cards in circulation, and more than one million participating merchants.
The Spanish firm has 100 members, which include banks, savings banks, as well as credit cooperatives. Of these members, 67 are the firm’s shareholders.
It offers international interoperability through co-branding with Visa and MasterCard.
ServiRed markets the Advantis chip operating system, which will be incorporated into the SmartMetric biometric card.
The Advantis operating system is developed by Spanish payment processor RedSys.
Commenting on the new alliance, SmartMetric president and CEO Chaya Hendrick said: “We are excited by this agreement with ServiRed, who is a major European credit card network that also through its Advantis chip and card operating system will allow us to offer our advanced biometric credit and debit card solution to banks in Europe, South America and the United States.”
Feels like to me that the pieces are starting to come together. It wil be a very interesting year. This deal has apparently been in the works for two years.
Feels like to me that the pieces are starting to come together. It wil be a very interesting year.
ServiReds contact details are included.
That would help but it is already a joint announcement.
Best to consider this the beginning of getting real! I’m sure the market will want to see it unfold positively before any great rally.
Well ServiRed is owned by 67 banks with 100 as members. I think they know what they are doing.
No doubt the card will be demonstrated to the members and orders taken from there. It's impossible to put a number on cards but Chaya has stated in the past that we can make a million cards a month but also could have increased.
Slow and steady to begin with I would say but the potential is huge.
You simply don't get deals like this without an impressive product.
ServiRed are massive in Europe.
Good times ahead!
Maybe writing a book on it all will make us the money we desire. ...
Come up with a concept and then search to see who’s patent you breach. It requires an expert.
Of course they are public information but expensive to chase down and nail the relevant patent.
You simply don't give it up when you are still developing product.
It's a no brainer!
If the report states there are five patents and you don't believe it then contact the SEC.
Lastly, the patent that was defended against Visa and MC had zero to do with design. It was to do with process, so you're wrong again.
https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20181115005684/en/SmartMetric-Introduces-Live-Finger-Detection-It%E2%80%99s-%E2%80%9CIn
Confirms that the finger pressing the sensor needs to be a living finger.
Again states there are 5 patents.
To those that keep asking me to name the patent codes are very much misguided on how patents are dealt with. Companies do not offer up the patent codes to make life easier for competitors to tweak. You force them to pay expensive Patent lawyers to search and find conflicting patents for themselves.
the patent codes will be offered up when the breach has occurred, of course.

SmartMetric Says an Alarming Number of at Least 60 Million
Credit/Debit Cards Compromised in the USA Last Year
SmartMetric, Inc. (OTCQB: SMME) – According to an analytic report just
released by Gemini Advisory* at least 60 million US credit/debit cards
were compromised last year:
“Based on the proprietary Gemini Advisory telemetry data collected from
various dark-web sources over several years, we have determined that in
the past 12 months at least 60 million US cards were compromised. Of
those, 75% or 45.8 million were CP records, likely compromised through
card-sniffing and point-of-sale (POS) breaches of businesses such as Saks,

, Jason’s Deli, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, Forever
21, and Whole Foods. To break it down even further, 90% or 41.6 million
of those records were EMV chip-enabled.”
In the ongoing battle against credit card fraud SmartMetric a USA based
company, has created biometric credit card that is turned on by the card
holders’ fingerprint. “Using the power of biometrics, we have created a
much higher level of security to the common credit card,” said
SmartMetric’s President & CEO, Chaya Hendrick.
SmartMetric holds five issued patents pertaining to its biometric
credit/debit card. It is currently being offered to Banks in the United
States, Latin America and soon to be released to Banks in Europe.
The SmartMetric biometric card is as thin as a standard credit card with
a fully functional fingerprint scanner built inside the card along with
a rechargeable battery that allows the card to be used on all card
readers including ATM’s.
