INVN: interesting business, too.
Quite a dead stock, for now.
AMCX: Wow, MG, nimble trading, profitable short despite (or because of) the pop, and expertise in the kitchen too, while the morning is still fresh!
Impressed here.
Miami Gent, "man with the Midas touch."
AAPL: good article, MG.
Consistent with a missive from 2010 by Marc Andreessen (co-founder of Netscape), now a VC, which I just read, saying that the market hates tech stocks, and how, despite their promise, they are accorded low PEs; good to look at the PEG and other factors, though.
Furher, from what I know, Apple, not alone, amongst numerous others, seems to cook their books by a lot of international money shuffling for tax minimization/evasion, call it what you will. Plenty of big boy multinationals do not pay taxes - societally bad for the US, in my opinion.
P.S.: Is there some InvestorsHub rule against posting a link?
Much more readable.

TCPI: that was a fine entry point, <2.5. Nice.
XON: SulphurMt, do you like their business,
or their prospects, or their chart?
Seems to be a high short ratio...
AAPL:
CLDN: so, where's the bottom?
It's so much less painful being in the peanut gallery
than being in it.
Mike, I'm in some <unmentionable>.
Now we shall see.
You got that right. Volume dried up...
VLTC: wow! Another missed opportunity, for me.
[elided]
WUBA: merger news not doing it for you?
It's only got a PE 260 and a P/S 22.
I just have to sit and watch
from the peanut gallery.
Whaat? Not happy with this red day.
Beats 1-2 year time frame!
You're welcome.
Very funny take on dollar cost averaging,
all in one day time frame!
TCPI: interesting company, JJ.
I read about them before - maybe from you,
but memory does not serve me.
P.S.: I like LED lighting for obvious efficiency reasons,
but some no-name bulbs (of who-knows-what make)
gave me a lot of RFI or power line interference
with radio. Then I bought a few Cree bulbs - quality!
Still managing to be confused as ever about the outcome for Greece, and for the EU.
I found this comment interesting:
ZIOP: nice chart, Sulphur. Thanks.
"China's export sales contracted 15 percent in March, a shock outcome that deepens concern about sputtering Chinese economic growth."
Shock?
Sputtering?
Ya think the world has economic problems?
Oy!

Obligatory cartoon:
VLTC: I read the VLTC board here yesterday,
interesting situation.
Icahn holds a big stake, as well as preferred.
Sounds like a push to get the company sold,
as they have a large NOL carryforward
that could be or could partially be utilized
by an acquirer, so as to (as they say)
unlock the value of that.
Nice morning strength, but easing now.
Not in it, not winning.
VLTCW: tried for some at 0.45, but too late for that.
Good call on it earlier, when they were dirt cheap!
Kandi rallies.
"Kandi is selecting dealers in 26 Chinese provinces and will begin selling its latest electric vehicle models, Chairman Hu Xiaoming said in a telephone interview Thursday. It also aims to expand its car-rental network to about 15 cities in China this year, from the eight currently, he said."

China: people on another board, not InvestorsHub,
think there may be some imminent national news
driving the country stocks.
Any whiff of that anyone knows?
YZC: coal.
I want to have been in this,
but only have a rear-view mirror.

SHI: Chinese petrochemical.
Why such moves?

Chinese (or, to Ico, Chineser) large caps. Wow.
