Im sure if the pay is good workers will drive to work just like everyone else does . I would rather drive up a snow covered road to the mine than downtown Boston in a snowstorm!
If you look at the pics the road is plowed past the mill
Why would we miss any season ? the gold is underground the mine is warmer than it is outside, the mill is inside and the trucks and loaders have cabs and heat. They can heat the building with the shares they buyback when the Permit hits! CGFIA.
I just signed the petition.Lets get it done Go CGFIA

A hardrock mining and water conference in Silverton next week has attracted a number of experts in the two fields.
Environmentalists, government officials, academics and industry representatives are scheduled to address the San Juan Hardrock Mining and Water Quality Conference on April 26-27 at the Kendall Mountain Recreation Center.
Strong sponsorship by a variety of entities allows the conference to be offered free, said Chris Peltz of the Mountain Studies Institute, the event coordinator.
“The conference has been in the planning for months and months,” Peltz said Tuesday. “The purpose is to increase the understanding of issues affecting mining and water issues.”
The focus of the presentations April 26 will be the upper Animas River where toxic drainage from abandoned mines has compromised water quality, Peltz said.
A similar conference was held last year in Ouray, where the principal topic was the cleanup of the Idarado mine above Ouray.
Mountain Studies Institute is looking into the possibility of a conference next year in Telluride, Peltz said.
Speakers will dominate the first day of the conference this year. Visits to the historic Mayflower Mill and the former mining community of Gladstone are scheduled April 27.
Among the speakers April 26 will be: Loretta Pineda, director of the Colorado Division of Mining, Safety and Reclamation; Larry Perino from the Sunnyside Gold Corp.; Mike Holmes, an Environmental Protection Agency expert on mine remediation and Superfund projects; Peter Butler from the Animas River Stakeholders Group and chairman of the state Water Quality Control Commission; John Ridley from Colorado State University; and Doug Yager from the U.S. Geological Survey.

DENVER – State mining regulators approved a permit for a controversial operation in La Plata Canyon this afternoon, but it comes with a long list of conditions and does not allow mining until the company has cleaned up the messes it made.
Since Wildcat Mining Corp. took over historic mines near the hamlet of Mayday in 2006, it has built an illegal road, blasted two mine portals and moved an unpermitted mill into one of the gold mines.
All three portals into the mine have collapsed either completely or partially, endangering a road above the mine. Engineers and neighbors also have concerns about the stability of the company’s illegal road, which descends from County Road 124 across the La Plata River and back up the hill to the mines.
Regulators with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety reasoned that the only way they could order a cleanup was to get the mines and road a new permit, which the governor-appointed Mined Land Reclamation Board approved unanimously today.
Board members stressed that the permit initially will allow access to the mines only for water sampling and other surveys needed to begin cleanup work. Without a permit, Wildcat officials are not supposed to enter the mines for any reason.
“The permit doesn’t authorize any mining or any milling,” said MLRB member Bob Randall.
Several La Plata Csnyon residents testified by phone against approval of the permit.
