This has been a long time coming to get on the Canadian exchange and should be beneficial. LVCA has a long way to go but this is a step in the RIGHT direction for sure.
Good news posted today out of LVCA land. Good results... now hopefully we get follow ups FREQUENTLY as to what management will do with the results. Saw the report on Scottrade. Come on $5K a month marketing and advertising agent. Help us get some heavy hitters involved w cash!!
Yes. I have been in since early 2008 and have never seen or imagined this stock THIS low. Incredible with this much land and assay results too. Dont know???
Thank you. I have not but i will try them.
Interesting point HOWEVER I was one of the original investors in then Kilimanjaro Mining company prior tp the merger with LVCA and I have totally struck out in even locating a US broker that will exchange my share certificate given to the investors for their investments for an actual account where these shares can be traded. I have emailed and called LVCA directors for guidance on where to exchange this certificate with NO response.
Are there any other original investors on this site in the US that have done this important conversion step? Please respond if so. Thank you.
Latest report showing the salaries of upper management and to note they are not simply working for stock options like previously reported on this forum. In fact, to me very healthy salaries and huge options to boot. I would expect much more than we are getting for these perks, especially with the report stating we have no reserves or cash and must raise funds through stock offerings.

Im sure you didnt mean we, the stockholders need management to make good moves like sell the 2.2million shares of OTTERBURN we acquired at only .10cents/share(see report) versus the current market price of .39 cents did you?
I think we could use the extra cash to try to sell these shares for more that 1/4 of their current market value dont you?!?
LAKE VICTORIA MINING COMPANY, INC. Files SEC form 8-K, Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement, Completion of AcquEDGAR Online(Thu, Jul 28) ***FOUND ON YAHOO FINANCE.
Interesting to note and wonder why this stock reacted VERY little(Not only very little increase in price, if any, but no real volume increases sustained either)with the news of "penny stock" Otterburn joining forces with them to advance projects BUT then Otterburn backs out and it appears all hell has broken loose. How does this make sense???
Something else interesting to note and a little history as well is when Kilimanlaro mining became LVCA a large majority of the holders paid above .45 cents per share. Recently the management was granted shares at .25cents per share along with the last round of investors as they looked to raise additional capital. The minimum for this investment at .25 cents/share was $25K. There was one investment of $3MIL recently that granted the purchaser shares at .15 cents/share but I believe these shares are not yet at a maturity date for this person to be able to sell his shares just yet. So either something funny and behind the curtains has happened or there are a lot of folks that have lost their butts on this deal and sold their shares at great loss recently to come up with not only higher volumes and consistent volume but also a LOW pps. I dont know if anyone EVER owned any of these shares as low as they are selling for now.
Something strange has happened here in my opinion.
Im sorry but for $5k a month to an ad firm that is suppose to deal with investor relations WE as stock holders should not have to dig around or go out of our way to locate these reports. Agree? Come on LVCA management. Nothing from them to update holders as to why Otterburn, another penny stock decided to move on. I would not hold your breath for any good results from this drilling update.
Well, I think the news release today says enough about the future of LVCA. I guess the Signia project isnt all its cracked up to be after all. Otterburn backs out of the four option due to the drilling results that STILL have not been released. Good job LVCA and its $5K a month advertising firm.
Great question. So I originally invested in LVCA when it was Kilimanjaro Mining Company back in 2008 or 2009, I dont remember as it has been a long while. The shares I was issued came in the form of a stock certificate. I am currently trying to find a broker that will take my cert and convert it to sell able shares. I do not think your shares are restricted as you bought them through a broker from the get go. Funny enough, i have bought additional shares at Scottrade but having a hard time finding a broker to accept my certificate shares and convert them to an account. Still looking but so far have come up empty handed. There are companies in Canada but i would like to find someone local.
I was hoping that was not going to be the case. Ameritrade turned the shares down. Still trying to find someone.
Thank you.
Hey Mary,
Just started working on getting the stock cert transferred to TD Ameritrade, if they will accept and convert the shares for me. Scottrade would not do it. We will see what happens IF the latest assay results come out soon. Interesting though how we have two penny stocks kind of bouncing off each other with work offers and agreements.
Keep our fingers crossed!!
If you are looking for a junior exploration company with potential and management not working hard to give away its company for pennies, take a look at "CROCF". Proven results, reserved and true cash in the bank. Good luck! These guys seem to really understand the gold mining business and actually make money in mining.

Sadly yes. Coming up on 3 years now and down about 35%. Got in at an averaged price of .46 cents per share on 7-8-2008. Heard all the stories I can about why price is low still. Gold at all time highs and still nothing coming out of the ground, out of all of these "incredible" licenses and potential this company has. In my opinion, we have been going downhill for a while and management seems to be letting it happen. Now they are all getting very hefty salaries and stock options to top it all off. I felt that them short cutting the stock price at .15 to raise 3 million in cash was the last straw but then realized that a lot of that money now funds their salaries. Still waiting for those last assay results that were due out ohh three months ago per the last PR update. Take a look at the past result they were getting even years ago and still nothing pulled out of the ground, smells like something is wrong here.
This stock is too crazy these days!! What do you know, super low volume up to 34 cents then down to 26 cents with no news. Then today out of the blue, no news, off market in general, volume over 300,000 at 31.5 cents while showing the bid of 26 cents. This makes no sense to me at all. Something has to be going on on the inside to justify this crazy low to no volume and then random days of higher than some full months volume. But still, with or without volume, priced between .26-.34 cents.
What a big bummer.
At face value it appears a whole lot of much needed cash and stock in their company now trading at .41 but bound to rise as their stake in LVCA dirt and soon to be mines start producing GOLD!
My opinion is a little two sided as it does show the company is growing and can pay its employees money versus stocks but also would love to see more from the company in terms of money generating practices and less land deals with our current cash on hand. It would be nice to see income and not just more debt mounting. I KNOW it takes land and properties to dig on to try and find gold and reserves but I would rather see a producing mine at this stage in the game. I have been around with this company as an original investor when it was Kilimangaro Mining company and have a lot of interest in LVCA doing great. We have a great team with MANY years in mining and business and very nice properties so hopefully money can soon be generated, especially now that there are folks on the "payroll". I would love to see some use out of Windward, as of yet, this company has not impressed my one bit. Seems to me like they have either disappeared or actually never showed up to earn their $5K/month!
We will have to see what the future holds, hopefully soon rather than later. I do like our latest move to be positioned next to Canaco resources as they recently produced some nice numbers from their neighboring mine. This company has really risen over the last year and my hopes are LVCA can obtain this kind traction.
I hear you. It costs more to buy those 100 shares than the actual total cost of the shares. Crazy and sad these transactions happen.
I thought LVCA contracted out a PR and marketing company for $5K a month. Seems the company didnt get the message. News comes out and folks have to dig to find it. Scottrade doesnt even show it under news.
I feel like we are starting to once again get attention and traction in the right direction. I am thinking there is going to be an announcement this coming week or so that will help push this stock higher and break out of the "day trader" funk we have been seeing the past months.
I am hopeful of a JV with a production company that can assist LVCA with turning our reserves and licenses into actual producing mines. I am very excited about the next two to three weeks as new results come out and we continue forward motion. Cheers!
Is this good for share price or bad? Now it seems the floor could be .15 cents instead of .24cents. Thoughts?
Lake Victoria Closes Private Placement for Proceeds of US$3,000,000

Lake Victoria Mining Company, Inc. ("Lake Victoria" or the "Company") (LVCA:OTCBB) is pleased to announce it has closed a non-brokered private placement in the Company for 20,000,000 Units at a price of $0.15 per Unit for gross proceeds of US$3,000,000. Each Unit consists of one share of common stock and one share purchase warrant entitling the warrant holder to purchase an additional share of common stock at a price of $0.30 for a period of six months from the closing of the private placement.
The shares forming part of the Units and the shares acquired on exercise of the warrants are subject to restrictions by regulatory authorities. Proceeds of the private placement are intended to be applied to the Company's ongoing work program on its gold prospects located in the Lake Victoria Greenstone Belt in Tanzania, East Africa, continued exploration for new projects and general working capital. The Company also announces the issuance of 145,833 shares of its common stock to a director in settlement of outstanding debt of $35,000 at a deemed price of $0.24 per share.
I understand what your saying BUT a company with no earning or income is a hard sell to investors. That is why I think that priority one should be to start producing a mine and generate income so that the company does not have to trade reduced priced shares for labor and additional land acquisitions.
I hear you on the updates from the new marketing team, we need something soon. I hope they have something brewing or close to a deal with some heavy hitters and about to release some great news. They really need to stop with share offerings at discounted prices! The mind boggling part lately for me is that with all of the great results we have seen from the current projects, the latest statements from the board did not mention anything about turning a project into a true producing mine, thus producing INCOME, only looking to acquire more land, licenses and DEBT. If the results are true and gold is there, why acquire more when the money can be made now while gold is priced high and income for the company can be made without offering shares for work performed. Does this approach not make sense?
Why would a company that continues to release good news and has plenty of work in the pipeline want to vote to dilute its current 1mil shares all the way up to 2.5mil. In fact, I was hoping for the opposite, maybe a stock buy back by the company to show its stock holders the company does mean business and it will stand by its stock and investors. Yes there is potential if they prove reserves at any of their projects so why are they not pounding the pavement trying to do so? Instead it seems LVCA wants to open up more shares to look at additional properties to explore on and JV with other companies on? To me, this seems like a bad move for the company and its current investors. Hopefully the Directors see what happened on Friday after this news came out and see that this is not a good idea.
WOW!! Looks like the market feels like the latest news is bad news.
Been following this one for some time and am totally thrown off by the fact it has never skyrocketed. With all of the recent great news, how is this stock still so low? Any input on this? I think that just the "team" this company has established ALONE should value a stock at over $1.
