I come for chuckles, too. I did my research, I'm holding. I don't talk on the boards much because everyone reads too much into it.
Hi ES,
Forgive me for the delayed response, but I’ve been battling a vicious bug and I’m just getting to your e-mail.
incorrect grammar
I’m not aware of Company selling shares.
The next batch of questions/issues are great and should be announced in a corporate release forum, probably in the form of a shareholder conference call, which I’ll announce as soon as I have more details.
I hope that helps. If not, please reply.
Phone number is on all SEC documents.
Looks like not much has changed since I took a break from the board. Oi. Still the same arguments about financing. No news about the science. Oh well, my shares are in the toilet so I'll be back when/IF news comes out.
Doubtful they'll just drop news in the 10-Q without a separate PR if they've "figured it out"
I certainly hope your address is in the African continent for securing authenticity! ;)
Yes, fundamentals apply; however, in my opinion it's a different set of fundamentals. You have to discover what you think is important for a business at this stage of development. Then find out if it's on track for future development (I think it is). Then decide if the current market cap is the right valuation you're willing to pay.
So yes, use fundamentals. As I've always told people - just CALL and speak with Kim about every single issue. Financing, future plans, etc - he'll tell you straight up what the plan is. It's public knowledge but some people argue it isn't true.
Wow - I leave for a while and come back to what I thought (and said) would happen.
PPS kept dropping back to range in .09-.11. Eddie complains a lot, then sells and now says it's going lower. Just before, I could smell the rocketfuel from his computer as he thought it was going to the moooooon.
KBLB is still a good investment. It's just something that's going to take time. As you watch the prices, detach your emotions and ask yourself of the VALUE of the stock. Is it really worth its market cap? Not yet. Soon it will, but I plan to buy back in at the trading range.
Have a nice day! I hope the world isn't ending with all these prophecies that so many are saying! haha
I doubt there will be anything that others didn't know. Probably confirmation of existing facts and clarification of points being debated on this board.
Let's see how people react to it after the CC today on Monday's trading day! Hopefully it'll reveal some info that everything is on track and this drop just provided an entry point. If nothing new is revealed, I think we'll track back to .13 where we were before news came out.
I'm trading it today. Just keep your core holdings and play with $1k-$5k. But without volume, it's tough as some orders don't fill.
I agree. Without some kind of news pushing this, we aren't sure where the momentum is coming from, but it's going to bring in a lot of traders. I wouldn't expect the rally to hold, but I could see it returning to the .13 level.
Yes, I apparently was wrong thinking it would settle in .09-.11c, which is a GOOD thing! We all want this to keep going, but let's step back for a minute and theorize what is driving the momo...
Because that Honda was probably made here in America. They don't just ship all of them over in containers. Toyota has big plants here in the US giving many Americans jobs.
Why sell if it goes below .10? Sounds like you are changing your tune...I thought it would never ever go below .13 again ;)
Everyone is doing a great job holding the hype up. Lots of new names on the board. I think I'll go quiet again. :) Sometimes I just like to watch! hehehe ;)
Yes, it is expected. How bad it will be is the debate. It could go a multiple of ways. We just have to sit tight.
Thanks to whomever posted the sec filing.
I'm glad we're in agreement. While it would be nice to sell Gen1, it also seemed that before the stock became popular that most people talked about the uses of the threads: Military, kevlar, medical etc.
I think these were uses for pure spider silk vs a hybrid. That's my thinking. That's all. I still want all success for KBLB. As a business person, I'm just opining what will happen as KBLB moves to a manufacturing stage. Remember, just because they can manufacture it doesn't mean they have sold it yet. :) I agree with my "cohorts" in that the price will slowly dwindle until we get news. It's what the stock has always done as traders and short term people lose interest and want to make money elsewhere. The recent runup is over. Hopefully it'll soon be just investors back on the board.
That's a whole different scenario. While completely possible, I really think the end goal of the company is to be able to viably manufacture spider silk instead of a hybrid. That's just my thought though.
And so I don't think that's how it'll go down. I think Kim is looking to acquire an existing silk manufacturer with equity and what little cash they have. If they have a secondary, then that's fine. Either option spells dilution because most likely Kim won't use his own shares to purchase a plant like that.
I don't know why everyone is so against the remote possibility of this scenario (buying a manufacturer). He has stated it on the phone to anyone that calls and asks about the future vision of the company. Too many people, including Eddie, refuse to make the call and ask for themselves. (Sorry eddie, I only call you out because you said no dd is needed on this stock at all :) )
I agree that the stock will drop that 20%, but you forget the investor psychology of waking up and seeing your stock down 20% and all the short term investors knee-jerk reacting and selling. Panic selling. That's more what I'm talking about.
In reference to "This is not at all logical since the company will have much more cash than before and hence is worth more." Where is that money going to come from? What money are you talking about?
We (it seems me, Manshoon, mojo and itsabull) seem to agree that dilution is coming simply because of the lack of cash so there is no other way to pay for things than with equity. That spells dilution.
That's correct, but it's how it will be viewed by shareholders is the problem. Many people here are looking for a quick buck. Let's face it, it's pink sheets. So most holders of stock will see it as dilution and immediately go "OH $h!t" and dump their shares.
It's just natural psychology. What would you do if there was dilution and all of a sudden the stock started dropping 30% per day?
The comment on Kim selling shares when he wants doesn't need hard facts. You can't have facts when talking about someone else's potential actions. If Kim does sell, he does. You'll find out with a SEC filing as Manshoon posted.
Also as Manshoon posted, I'd suggest reviewing the 10k carefully and then thinking about all the proposed future dealings and then ask yourself how it will happen.

I think you misunderstood him...
Well said. I am in full agreement. How the shareholders view dilution will depend on what he's diluting for.
I sold higher than that :). Just like others, I have a core holding and trading shares. I put my money where my mouth is and am awaiting lower share prices.
So it seems the slow drift down is beginning. Not to be a downer, but I think it'll come to rest again between .09 - .11c. The recent runup was a momo trade just like the last one.
Everyone is right that when news comes out, this will fly, but until then, just keep market cap in mind for just how much you think it will fly.
Yea, she writes the same negative articles about Advanced Cell Technology. She writes lies and doesn't have DD. She quotes IH posters as credible sources...seriously?
I try not to even read what this crazy writes.
Great news indeed. This company is about to be on the up and up and we got in a rock bottom prices.
Hmmm, first he disagreed with me, but now he's agreeing with me? I'm confused. So flip floppy.
As to your next post of the hump, I agree as well. Good to see I'm not the only realist here.
Yes, I know what is going on, but I don't expect the conference call to have as much information as people are hoping or some kind of radical new news.
Seems to be a lot of momentum coming into this one - hopefully everyone doesn't ditch at the same time (as has been done in the past)
I am holding out for more .09s:
"Damn, this is a nice run! Pretty cool, but wtf is happening? Looks like a lot of momentum traders jumping in on this. So far, 35% up and no news...seems weird. I really wonder what is driving the recent moves? Oh well, I'll just sit tight and watch. Not like I have free capital to do anything with right now anyways."
There you have it. The thoughts of someone holding for .09s. lol
Talk about a good run today. Damn! Without news, hopefully it won't wither back down (which it has done in the past). Happy weekend and mother's day.
It's been a tough few weeks, but seeing that they feel they have sufficient cash to get through 2011 is helpful. I wonder how the market will react though with everyone spitting rumors of financing/dilution on the way.
Through most online stock brokers: eTrade, Zecco, Schwab, BofA, etc...
I'm having a great time! :) Thanks!
You should define soon. You seem to think it means by end of May. I disagree.
You're right, I was in that runup that jumped so high. Then drifted ALL THE WAY TO .06c. I think you should research yourself, before typing in all caps yelling at me.
At least I actually got on the phone and spoke directly to Kim about my questions. Have you? I keep saying the number is on the 10k. It might help you understand how this is all going to come together.
Unfortunately, you are trying to make a prediction without any hard facts. Unless Kim announces something new like purchasing a plant or some kind of financing, it'll hopefully just hold around .09-.11c
I hate to sound pessimistic, but in reality the pps isn't going to run on a conference call. It'll run on news. News that makes the company more valuable. Perhaps he'll announce news in the conference call? He hasn't before and generally companies don't do that. They use a separate event. Just like the Sigma deal, did you know that was coming? Was it announced in a conference call? No.
I'm looking forward to the call, but not expecting any kind of runup. Hopefully, Kim will lay out a business plan or "roadmap" from which we can take directions and follow along as developments progress.
KBLB does seem to have settled in the .09 - .11c range. I'm still watching. Looking to purchase more in the .09s though.
ah, i missed that. This board seems to go in and out of activity.
Boy, nobody has posted this yet???
