Very little volume today?
Yes, the standard size lot for the city of Seattle. 5000 sq ft.
Nice to see activity on this board again. Maybe this time we make some money?
Still not seeing it to any degree in local Safeway, Whole Foods, Central Market and
PCC. No better than last summer in the Seattle area. Many other buccha's represented.
Let's indeed hope the bidding war starts. I've been here since the 0.30 days with ABRW.
I still see very little presence in any of the product lines in North Seattle stores except Marley.
I routinely check at least several outlets. I'm hoping that the situation across the country is better.
$100 or even $20 a share is a lofty goal. I know no one personally who has even tried
any of the product lines except me. That worries me. But we can only hope the situation will improve.
Not meant to be negative in any way. But you have to get your product out there to be successful.
Lot's of Marley in the local QFC. Very tasty to my palate.
You are so right regarding the great ride. I've been investing a long time, but
have had few winners such as this. I fully expect this to continue, but if the ride
stopped tomorrow, I'd still have made many thousands of dollars. This could very
well turn out to be the best individual stock that many of us will ever have. Once
just a little beer company in my home town Edmonds. Just hard to believe.
NBEV was invited to ring tomorrow's opening bell on the Nasdaq. I've always
been curious how companies got to participate in this activity. The last three month
success on the exchange was the reason Alvina (the media contact) said the invitation
was extended. Looking forward to seeing this happen.
Well analyzed and well written--NJM!
Break 7.00---clear sky!
Watch the young people. Especially those under 30. They are the biggest market for our products.
Thanks NewJericoMan. You do a good job trying to keep this board civil and on topic.
I bought in the 0.32-0.35 range. Today this is a far different organization than when it was ABRW,
and we stopped by in the afternoon for a brew in downtown Edmonds. It's been a winner for me. Yes, I've sold shares along the way, but still hold a decent number following an assert allocation plan. I grow weary of
all the bashing that goes on here, but I guess that's the nature of stock boards and egos.
I'm not expecting this to be the next Microsoft. Im happy it's a 15-20 bagger for me.
Looking forward to tomorrow's presentation.
A long ways from the 30 cent days of ABRW!
Better not give them any other tax ideas. It's bad enough now with all the other taxes,
and they continue to bring up the state income tax. It's getting harder and harder for
people like me to remain here. And people continue to come. I frankly don't
know how anyone can afford to buy a home now.
I'm either higher income, or more health conscious. Classic Coke now seems very sugary indeed.
I guess some of my Seattle area neighbors agree! I actually prefer craft beer and American Brewing
company is no exception.
Ray,
If this turns out to be the exceptional penny stock,
you will be exceptional for finding it.
For the long time core of speculators who are still here, I wish
you all the best. Maybe KBLB will be the investment of the century.
Maybe not. I suspect we have many who have a lot tied up in this
company. It's my hope that you hit the mother lode. I just cannot afford
to take that risk. That's one reason I advocate being under 4%, and in
this case I'm well under.
GLTA
Mojo,
I agree.
Bob, I'm the same age as you, hardly youth.
Most investors belong in index funds.
Glad you are still here Bob, and as optimistic as ever. At age 61, you may be passing your
shares on to your heirs before it reaches $30 or $35 per share.
I hold enough shares that if your dream comes true, it will change my life
in retirement. And if it never goes beyond 0.06 per share it will have no effect on
my life in retirement or otherwise. I have written before, that one should never
hold more than 4% of their net worth in a single stock, whether it's a solid blue chip
or a speculative issue like KBLB. I'm the same age as you, and have done well in
the market. But pretty much by following strict guidelines. Of course a little luck thrown
in too.
I hope you are right. I know you are confident. But you know the odds of an issue like this
ever becoming a huge success. Only time will tell, and we have been waiting a while.
Successful investors follow strict guidelines. Luck is a very small part of it.
I don't believe KBLB will be the next Microsoft or anything close. Still I am willing to
to take a chance on a fledgling company. Just not more than 4 percent.
Spill,
I hope you are right. Only time will tell.
And we have lots of time, right?
Maybe, but many will take the opportunity to double their money. There are likely millions of shares with
cost basis around 0.10 per share or more out there. Maybe when all that clears out, you will see
some upside to steady PPS movement. We shall see.
So,
Long time since I have been over here on this board.
It looks as though a few of the long timers have dropped posting or
are no longer here.
Are we any closer?
How are the metric tons of production coming?
Just asking
dfeick:
Just be ready for the metric tons by mid year.
Kim has said its going to happen, so why should I not believe him.
Gee, no shortage of chances to average down today.
Truth:
I hope you are right, but even if you are,
I am not convinced we will have buyers for all
that spidersilk, but that will be another issue.
see update......error on my part.
Hi Truth,
Yeah that does not sound like what I intended to say.
I was up way to late last night and still a bit rummy.
What I meant was that I do not believe we will see
"metric tons" of spidersilk or fiber produced next year, as
mentioned in a recent PR.
Sorry for the confusion, and I certainly am not privy
to anything not already public knowledge concerning KBLB.
Thanks for catching that error.
Mojo,
A pretty accurate assessment on your part.
It will be likely years if ever.
With the exception of a few successful traders,
most will likely lose some money, perhaps not all,
but a significant amount.
255K shares today, and close at 0.053.
We have a very long ways to go.
There will be no "tons" of production next year.
I'll be happy to get out even....that's my Christmas wish, Santa.
dfeickeesq:
Consider this a buying opportunity and your chance to buy more. In 2014 when we are producing tons of product with contracts to go along with that you will be happy happy happy.
An interesting question would be:
How much of your stock market investment total does
KBLB represent? 5%, 10%, 50% ?
I'll start: KBLB represents approximately 4% of
my total stock market worth in dollars.
To all:
I have been here in the background for as long as probably most of you, but not all. KBLB has been on my radar since 2010.
It is not my intention to anger anyone, I just believe that we are way overdue for progress leading to earnings. I also am not convinced that we will ever have a company that will be viable
and make money off its "product". Lets hope I am wrong, as like
most all of you I have a position in KBLB too, and I am down
significantly. I don't plan to sell, but if 2014 does not turn
out to be what Kim has alluded too, I may reconsider my decision.
Fortunately I have kept my holding constant, as I won't commit
any more funds to this stock, even if the PPS declines further.
As I mentioned a couple years back my allocation to any security
does not exceed 4%. So If KBLB goes to the moon I will share in some of that, but won't make as much as say some who have share
counts in the millions. And I will be very happy with that.
I suspect that many on the board have a cost basis well above
where we are now. Perhaps 0.09 and higher. So at 0.05 that's a
significant paper loss on a percentage basis.
Lets just hope real progress will be made this year, as the PR's are not doing much of anything anymore, and I bet that many are
tired of being underwater for so long.
Holiday Greetings to all.
Yes Romans, it would not be good to lose it.
Good point Rayovac:
I should have said unlikely "metric tons" anytime in 2014,
but I would be thrilled if it happened.
Jonny,
I am hoping we all are KBLB winners in 2014.
I seriously mean that.
Shovell,
Oh, I have skin in the game too, and have since 2010.
Unless you are a penny trader, you really should consider
putting your $$ elsewhere. This is a casino, and most people
will end up losing money except Kim, Ben and the lender.
And for those who suggest continuing to buy when the prices drop into the low 5's or below, please be prepared to lose most
of your money, unless you are a trader and are successful
doing that.
JMO
Well, I do know that if it does not happen in 2014, there will
be a number of longs who will throw in the towel, take their losses,
and move onto something where you can actually make some money in
a long position.
I am pretty sure about one thing......no "metric tons" of
product will happen in 2014.
