Oh yea. Getting to a HIGHER exchange will do wonders for KBLB. Institutional buyers, financing, less 'manipulation' and MOST IMPORTANTLY Kim T. is leading us to the GOLDEN land.
Any manipulations or fluctuations in the stock price merely provides me an opportunity, now or after a RS. I'm buying at these prices.
Price hit my buy range. Thanks to whomever!
I'm curious. Why 2 super voting shares? was that a requirement for authorizing them? wouldn't 1 super share be enough to maintain the control he wanted? Can he 'sell' one share and 'split' the power?
The first I bought was around a penny. Thought the technology was futuristic. When KBLB proved they could genetically modify the silkworms with spider proteins, I bought more. of course it went up to around 24 cents and I stopped buying around 15. Bought more on the ups and downs. Finally learned it was better to buy on the downs!! :) Now have 956,601 shares. Was hoping to move to 1 million with a drop back, but that ain't looking too good! GO KBLB!
Sounds kinda like I'm bragging about my shares, but I figure I should with all the heartaches I've had with this stock. And the grief I got from friends I recommended it to. Not a big trader.
Holding for multiple dollars.
I too appreciate the many knowledgeable posters who have educated me in this endeavor. GLTA.
A ROTH IRA account is funded by funds that have been taxed and will NOT be taxed when you withdraw them and any growth in value. There are a few qualifications for tax free withdrawal on a Roth. You must have established the account at least 5 years prior to withdrawal. I am told you can setup the Roth with a minimal amount and any funds contributed later are under that date when the initial account was created. In other words put in a little and funds contributed 2,3,4,etc... years later are still taxfree as if contributions (and account growth) from the intial contribution.
I think there may be a 59 1/2 year age limit on the withdrawal without penalty also.
Any tax advice should be garnered from a certified accountant familiar with these situations.
I've read many thoughts about a buyout and although I've never met Kim, I've owned this stock for many years (bought @ $0.01 ) and feel like I know him to some degree based on his actions. I have always felt he wanted to 'achieve' something besides make money. I don't think he will let go of the entire enterprise in the near future. I also believe he has always been more interested in the R & D aspects rather than production. With a subsidiary as Prodigy, and any other subsidiaries that may be created, I think the future might present opportunities for him to sell the subsidiary(s) and maintain the R & D part.
I'd like to hear thoughts about that possibility. Values related to production vs R&D, etc...
Of course I realize anything would be speculation and dependent on whatever division(s) might be made. R&D getting a % of whatever is created or ???? I'm curious also as to what the 'contract' with Polartec might agree to and if there is some item related to severance based on Polartec selling.

Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB: KBLB) ("Company"), the leading developer of spider silk-based fibers, provides an update on progress towards the commercialization of spider silk technology following last week's announcement of the formation of its Vietnamese subsidiary, Prodigy Textiles Co,. Ltd ("Prodigy"). The Company views Prodigy as its main production arm for spider silk technologies.
The Company is gearing up production of its proprietary spider silk silkworm eggs in preparation for shipment to Prodigy. These Silkworms are slated to be the first transgenics produced at Prodigy.
Kraig Labs has identified a facility, in Quang Nam province, with the capacity to support operations and is working with local experts to update and buildout the facility to meet production specifications.
To bring Prodigy production operations online, Kraig Labs has accelerated Prodigy's staffing and hiring plans. Key technical and administration positions within Prodigy have been identified and the Company is working with its consultants in Vietnam to fill these positions.
Company management is no w preparing to travel to Vietnam to oversee Prodigy's launch, where they will also be oversee hiring core staff, the transfer of the Company's spider silk silkworm technology, and the beginning of operations.
"Momentum at Prodigy is growing and we're focused on the exciting milestones ahead," said Jon Rice, COO. "We are busy preparing silkworm eggs for shipment and putting the team in place at Prodigy to hit the ground running. We are now taking concrete steps to build on all the work we've done in Vietnam and to convert that into a thriving operation for spider silk production."
I'm curious Jazz, do you think all of the KBLB variations (i.e. Big Red, Monster Silk, Dragon Silk, etc...) are of different elasticity and thickness as well?
The subject of Kim selling shares was discussed many months ago. The filing is required IF and for when Kim needs to sell any shares. The filing has been going on for some time now and I know of no record of his actually selling any shares, at least not in the amounts of the filings. IF there is some record or 'proof' of his selling shares, please provide this information.
I find it interesting that one of KBLB's entries at the ITMA Future Materials Awards is in the 'agrotextiles' category. There are a number of IMO possible categories that they could have entered(protective textiles; sportswear and outdoor apparel).
Also, it appears that the other 3 finalists in KBLB's category are much more 'well established' from a business perspective. Being in business and generating profit for many years. And the types of materials the other finalists are noted for are considerably different from what I have seen discussed on this board as possible 'first products'. Oil absorbant? ground cover? etc...
Not that the type of product is particularly defining KBLB's endeavors, but the entry is in 'agrotextiles'? Farming, horticulture, etc...
The KBLB hat picture is added to my profile for your viewing pleasure. I do not know how to insert it into a message.
I contacted Bob @printwear about the hats and he sent me a picture ( I like it) but I am not familiar with how to insert it into this message.
He also said that Bob A. was "organizing the list so that we could make one run of the hats."
Hats - $12
visors - $7
Not sure about how we receive the hats/visors. One order, multiple shippings???
Bob A. ????
I see this 'newsletter' as one of 'Susie's' functions and am grateful to see Kim getting some help. As a previous owner of a 'startup' company; I truly understand the benefit of an 'office administrator'.
Welcome Susie.
For those of you who read my initial response to the earlier discussion relating to appropriateness of how Susie came to be publicly known, I apologize for having to edit this post and strike that due to my reading of the droning on and on about it in related post during the day.
Either way is good for KBLB, but I'm personally hoping that the cause for the increase is that the worms are getting more acclimated to the process. That way it leaves more research room for increasing the size of the cocoons through genetics, selective breeding or whatever else these scientist can come up with.
I'm certainly no geneticist, I'm merely a believer in the technology and KBLB management.
Yield increases to 70% from 30% appears to relate to the number of cocoons being developed rather than your implied size of the cocoons. Or rather that is what I am assuming based on my interpretation of the news release stating that the scientific teams analysis indicated the worms were getting acclimated to production environment.
Do you have some information or speculation to the contrary?
"We are very excited about the possibility of working with Vietnam. Our discussions regarding commercial production have been very productive. We have been very well received and our hosts have been very gracious. I would like to thank the parties who have taken the time to help make this trip as fruitful as possible. I am very impressed with what I've seen in Vietnam, including their passion for sericulture," Thompson concluded.
I believe Kim is very interested and excited about Vietnam.
I was going to apologize to the board for redundant posting of the news, but then decided why not give it another plug!! I received my email late apparently.
Go KBLB, the beginning of a new era.

What is wrong with you people?? You'll have news when there IS news, not just when you want to trade. IF you don't like that, then sell out, quit spewing junk on public boards and follow something that you DO LIKE.
KBLB is moving along just fine with what they have had to accomplish. The stock purchased in the 'early days' has returned a very nice profit IF YOU INVESTED IN IT WHEN IT WAS A GOOD IDEA AND NOT DEVELOPED YET. Development takes time and if you are not helping then you are hurting. Trading is not what this stock is for unless you want to take your chances. And with that you should accept what you get, not complain about not getting what YOU want.
This is very good news for the company.
IMHO
Sorry Bob, I wouldn't expect any cheap shares today based on the news.
"...approaching that of natural spider silk."
LANSING, Mich., Sep 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Kraig Biocraft
Laboratories, Inc. (OTCQB:KBLB) ("Company"), the leading developer of advanced
spider silk based fibers, today announced that the Company's initial testing of
its recombinant spider silk, Big Red, indicate that the Company's new
recombinant fiber is stronger than Monster Silk(R). The testing indicates that
Big Red's strength, as measured by the ultimate load it can withstand before
breaking, is approaching that of natural spider silk.
"These initial testing results appear to confirm the effectiveness of our design
approach with Big Red," said Company founder and CEO, Kim K. Thompson. "Big Red
was designed to be even stronger than our breakthrough product, Monster
Silk(R)," continued Thompson. "If the follow on testing confirms these results,
Big Red will be a significant breakthrough for our Company and for material
science."
"So far, Big Red has met or exceeded our expectations and design parameters. Our
plan is for Big Red to follow Monster Silk(R) in our commercialization ramp up."
Man, you're trying hard to strike out at people aren't ya nogo? If I were you I wouldn't worry about what class he taught, it doesn't appear that you'd 'qualify' to attend any classes.
I completely agree, es1. One only has to mention some perceived negative (often opinion) and the topic of conversation becomes that on this board. Arguing against distorted conjecture only brings out more distortions and opportunities to distort further.
To what end one chooses to spend significant amounts of time 'helping' others with no obvious benefit to themselves is much 'food for thought'. I have my own opinion about that.
Sorry Mike, I disagree with you on your suggestion. I would sell all my KBLB shares if I knew the company was run with the blustery, non knowledgeable, bravado that I have read from him the last couple of years. I shudder to think where KBLB would be if we followed that bull.
KBLB SH's, KC is right when he says that KBLB is moving forward and making very significant progress over the last few years. At least I think that is what he is saying. I'm not too familiar with sarcasm, but I really can't recommend that one sell their house unless they can financially afford to invest that much is a developing company whose future looks extremely bright. Although I do believe I would rather believe what Kim Thompson says rather than KC.
And as to whether it goes to the moon, will depend on whether the US (or someone) actually takes one of the many products which will certainly be made from one of KBLB's silk. I imagine that by the time we are making routine trips to the moon, KBLB products will likely be very involved in some form.
Yep, Git er' done!!
1500 steps ahead of WHAT? Not spider silk! The link you provided only discussed proteins and I saw not one word mentioned about any fibers?
Did I miss something?
Why the big change in attitude? 3 weeks make that big a difference?
Booyah post of April 4
Did you sell? Are you now waiting to get back in lower?
How can naive, non-researching traders trust your signals when you keeping flip-flopping?
KBLB WILL have revenues this year!!
2013 is THE year and some are so afraid!
What "delayed report" are you referring to?
IF it is the test results from Big Red, I would not say that it is "delayed". I have been in this stock prior to the split and my opinion is that Kim will not release that info in a PR, but rather at the conference call or perhaps shortly prior. Also, IMO, Kim would not have made a public 'display' of the Big Red tests unless they had some preliminary data at their labs which indicated good success. I see the independant test results as verification of their lab results.
And any "delay" in Big Red results would likely be due to the increased focus KBLB has put on production of Monster Silk. IMHO
'It' means KBLB is having a shareholder meeting on 4/16/13. They are proposing to amend the Articles of Incorporation via Articles 9 and 10, to address company communications; and also (via Article 11 )to authorize the Board of Directors to make changes to UNISSUED shares of KBLB stock. To what degree and purpose, I can only surmise. I am curious as to what reasons the Board wishes this option.
I just posted the full letter and notice in previous msg. Take note in the letter about getting on KBLB shareholder email list if you desire to get communications from the company.
Notice of Shareholder meeting received today - 4/2/13
Dear Shareholder, March 22, 2013
I’m very pleased and excited to address you for the first time since the launching of the pilot
production program for Monster Silk™ and the laboratory development of “Big Red,” a new
form of recombinant spider silk. The pace of our development from a small genetic
engineering company with bold ideas, toward a larger commercial vision, has been
accelerating in this early part of 2013.
Our goal is to further build on that growth and to accelerate our commercial and corporate
development in the second, third and fourth quarters. Our goals have always been
ambitious, but as a shareholder you already know that. What I can tell you today is that as
we have achieved our milestones over the past nine months, our goals have become even
more ambitious. We are currently on track to make 2013 what I believe will be the best year
in the Company’s history. Indeed, we intend to make history with the commercial
development of recombinant spider silk based fibers and textiles.
We are planning on holding a shareholder conference call in the next few weeks, to discuss
our significant progress and to lay out our plan for growth. We will issue a press release
with information on how to join the conference call as soon as the schedule is set.
If you have access to email, the Company would like to add your name to our shareholder
email list. This list will allow the Company to communicate more effectively with you and
our shareholder community. You can subscribe by sending an email containing the words
“shareholder, add me to the list” to the following email address:
Shareholder@KraigLabs.com
We will be sending periodic updates, notices and important press releases to our
shareholders via the shareholder email list.
Thank you for your support of Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, a company which has become
the world leader in recombinant spider silk technologies. We intend to grow larger and
expand that lead in the coming months.
Yours Truly,
Kim Thompson
CEO
NOTICE OF MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
TO BE HELD ON APRIL 16, 2013
To the Shareholders of Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc.:
You are invited to attend the Meeting of Shareholders of Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc., a Wyoming
corporation (the “Company”), to be held at the Radisson Hotel, 111 North Grand Ave, in the Michigan 3 Room,
Lansing, Michigan 48933 on April 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. local time, for the following purposes:
1. To approve the amendment of the Articles of Incorporation of the Company with the purpose to: (a) allow for
electronic and website based notice of meetings and corporate actions to the greatest extent allowed by law, (b)
allow any action by the Company’s shareholders, in lieu of a meeting, by written consent of the holders of
outstanding shares having not less than the minimum number of votes that would be required to authorize or
take the action at a meeting at which all shares entitled to vote on the action were present and voted, and (c)
authorize the board of directors to classify or reclassify any unissued shares and designate the voting powers
and other rights and privileges of such unissued shares by:
- Adding a new Article 9 to read as follows: “Article 9. Any public notice or notice to the shareholders,
including notice of meetings of the shareholders and notices which are permitted or required by law to
shareholders, may be made by publication on the Company’s website, or by other electronic means, to the
extent that such means of publication are allowed by applicable law.”
- Adding a new Article 10 to read as follows: “Article 10. Any action permitted to be taken at a
shareholders' meeting may be taken without a meeting, and without prior notice, if consents in writing
setting forth the action so taken are signed by the holders of outstanding shares having not less than the
minimum number of votes that would be required to authorize or take the action at a meeting at which all
shares entitled to vote on the action were present and voted.”
- Adding a new Article 11 to read as follows: “Article 11. The Board of Directors is expressly authorized at
any time, and from time to time, to (x) classify any unissued shares in one or more classes or in one or
more series within a class, (y) reclassify any unissued shares of any class into one (1) or more classes or
into one (1) or more series within one (1) or more classes, or (z) reclassify any unissued shares of any
series of any class into one (1) or more classes or into one (1) or more series within a class; with such
voting powers and such designations, preferences and relative, participating, optional or other special
rights, and qualifications, limitations or restrictions thereof, as shall be stated and expressed in the
resolution or resolutions providing for the issue thereof adopted by the Board of Directors, and as are not
stated and expressed in these Articles of Incorporation, or any amendment thereto.”
2. To transact such other matters as may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.
Only shareholders of record at the close of business on March 18, 2013 are entitled to notice of, and to vote at,
the meeting.
Reasons for the Amendments: To reduce the cost and streamline the logistics involved in calling shareholdermeetings and providing notice to shareholders to the greatest extent allowed by law and to reduce the time it takes to
obtain shareholder or other corporate approval or take action which would otherwise require a calling of a shareholder
meeting, by authorizing written shareholder consent without a meeting to the extent allowed by law and to allow
greater authority for the Board of Directors in determining the rights of unissued classes of stock without the necessity
of further amending the Articles of Incorporation.
Our board of directors has unanimously approved each of the foregoing actions and deemed them to be in the
best interest of the Company. If approved by the shareholders at the Meeting of Shareholders, each action will become
effective as soon as practicable. However, consummation of any of the foregoing actions may be abandoned or
deferred for a reasonable time, by action of the Company’s board of directors at any time, whether before or after its
approval, if the board of directors determines for any reason, in its sole judgment and discretion, that the
consummation of such action would no longer be in the best interests of the shareholders or that the deferral thereof is
advisable.
By Order of the Board of Directors, March 22, 2013
Shareholder meeting announced this morning on 4/16/13.
OK, Who's going to the April 16th meeting in Michigan?
I'm curious about the 'New Article 11' being proposed. Anyone have examples of various needs to "...classify...reclassify any unissued shares....with such voting powers and such designations...?
Think we will have a CC before the meeting?
NEWS! LANSING, Mich., March 25, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. the leading developer of advanced spider silk based fibers, announced today that Dr. Malcolm Fraser, PhD, an influential member of the Company's scientific advisory board, is in India meeting with scientists, government officials and industry. The Company's CEO and Founder, Kim Thompson, is also traveling and is currently in another country meeting with government officials and businessmen to discus and explore production and processing opportunities for Monster Silk™ and other recombinant spider silks.
Nope, seems that he is the only one who goes to the websites and signs up for them!
IF he is really getting them.
ES1, you were obviously right about the pilot production program increasing the number of eggs being advanced to cocoons in each stage. I wonder if you were also accurate about your numbers of eggs in this each of the stages? How much thread has been spun in this first stage I wonder? How many companies will receive samples for their test and development? Do you think KBLB has already defined the company(s) to receive the samples?
Shouldn't take the company(s) long to evaluate I assume. Except for perhaps military contracts; IF that is what they are thinking of using the Monster Silk for. Surely Big Red will be in even higher demand once the tests have been revealed.
Anyone think BIG RED might get a few threads spun while they are spinning the MS?
Go KBLB, the company that is spinning the future (and not like the politicians).
I'm not so sure that Phase 2 & 3 PR's will be "the end of it until the CC." I'm still kinda hoping that we get some kind of news on the test results of Big Red. That way when Fraser, et al., coordinate their travel schedules and have the CC; they will have something else to talk about.
I mean, really, how long does it take to pull on a thread!!! :)
