Interesting what you said about the promissory notes. Would those be considered secured debt in BR? As far as Randy is concerned, I met he and several others at the hearing in Austin years ago and I was impressed with most of those folks. If I were to fault Randy over the years, I think the mistake he made was getting too close to MP. I only talked to MP one time and had no desire to talk to him a second time. In time most everyone came to understand what many of you folks have been saying for years. I think we are now past the point of hoping for much of anything.
H
We have seen this kind of thing happen many times before. It is then assumed something must be going on when in fact, nothing has changed from a material nature or the company would have to disclose it. Spikes up comes right back to earth in a hurry.
thanks demmo
Thats kinda what I thought but not sure. Thanks to some folks who post here my losses are going to be small compared to what they could have been. As I was preparing to buy more years ago, I got to know some, spit, bashers that made a lot of sense to me so I kept my wallet closed.

After everything that has happened I agree with you about no meeting and I have said for a while that I expected a move to the pinks. Maybe this has been answered but if not, I was wondering if the company files for chapter 11, what would the pipe get out of the filing? Is their debt considered secured. I should know this but have been around much lately. Thanks

I borrowed that link, hope you dont mind as I had totally forgotten about that shippment. Thanks

Dont know if you have seen the long version, but this just blew me away. Just to show that one can not judge a book by its cover.

As I have stated in the past, sometimes one can get too close. What I mean is something as simple as going to a shareholders meeting and think you are getting to really know someone. I have talked to MP once and have let it be known I have no interest in doing it again. He has more you know what than a Christmas Turkey.
Its important that everyone back away from meeting and talking to him and judging him only by the results, or in this case no results and go from there. I have talked to Randy many times a while ago and always got the feeling the guy is as honest as the day is long. Remember I met Randy and several others at the hearing in Austin. I think Randy has stepped back, looked at the situation as it should be and changed his mind and I think over time you will see more of that.

Yep, seems like they decide to change the oil and filter more often these days. :)
"I like "THE AUSSIE"..too bad he is not on IHUB."
I would not be the least bit surprised if the Aussie was already a member of Ihub or at least on the other boards with, lets say, a different name. Way too much of the term "mate", IMO.
h
Couple of quick questions. If funds get any tighter, what would happen to the pipe if the company dropped to the pink sheets? Still considered public but not required to report as they do now. What would happen to the pipe if the company filed chapter 11? Thanks
diddy
I just blew off the insider buying as nothing more than a way to hopefully show some insider interest to get shareholders a bit excited. As someone pointed out, I have no clue why Conicelli didnt just loan the money to the company as Jenn did.
And another thing about insider buying, why in the world would MP buy 3,000 shares at 8 cents a share, a whopping $240.00 when he ownes over 2.1 million shares according to yahoo? Get shareholders interested?
h
I think a lot more people have listened to you and others have said. Of course some would never admit it, I have never been shy to tell you folks how much money you all have saved me over the years in not buying more. Of course, the pps is so low now, gonna hold what I have. Not really much choice as in my IRA and could not get enough to make any difference anyway.
Lots of cheap stocks out there now, trick is finding the good ones during this time.

You having any gas shortages in your fair city? News reports show long lines in your part of the country. No problems here.

I was a little surprised that the price they are paying was actually a penny more than the value of the stock as of last Friday. I know pper money has dried up but it was going strong, were not the ppers getting a good price per share discount? Secondly, when Cexi does issue the stock in time, will those shares be restricted?

Just remember on that Sunday afternoon that the stock was going to explode higher the next day. Stock dropped like a rock and did not slow down.
Dont get out too much anymore, too many grandkids to watch to have any free time. Drove through Bastrop last year the town has exploded. Austin has gotten so expensive that many folks moved to Bastrop for lower housing prices. Well, the prices there are about as high now as they are in Austin and gas prices are killing those who drive to Austin everyday. Cant wait to retire this year, turned 62 last month and my wife retired on 3/31/08. Looking closely at Corpus Christi, love the beach and it is a buyers market there now and cannot wait to get out of this town.
Just cant get around anymore with so much traffic. They say that 49,000 people are moving here every year. Want to move back to Childress but my wife says not only no but hexx no. Too bad

Trying to remember, was not the DC test done before the overseas test? I remember, or I think I do, that the overseas results that came back was a perfect 10 for 10. I also do know the results come back on a Sunday and monday, the stock price dropped like a rock. I thought the share price was almost at the high of $5.95 when the test overseas was done. Am I wrong on the time frame and share price? Thanks

Was gonna post this earlier but did not know if I could but this is good enough, IMO, to do it anyway considering this is the Memorial Day Weekend.

The following information is something I have known for a very long time. The article is long but, hopefully worth reading. I have seen this guy in action and his group of hit men. These guys were real pros and when some stocks he went after went up to a near high or close to it, his turned his bashers lose. Just all of a sudden his pack hit the stock message boards and really lay into the stock. He made millions doing that and his bunch did bash on RB on some stocks. He made his money shorting stocks or getting stock from companies to shut him up. Had an inside FBI agent. My point in all this is nobody is going to short a penny stock and go to this much trouble.
The stock I saw him go after hit an all time high of over $5.00 and then all h--- broke lose. It hit the stock pps hard. They didnt mess with a dollar stock or a penny stock.--
"Internet Fraud 5
Stock Message Boards- Information or DisInformation? Last week Anthony Elgindy, high profile short seller and proprietor of stock bashing web sites www.insidetruth.com and www.anthonypacific.com, was indicted by a Brooklyn Grand Jury for racketeering and securities fraud conspiracy. Also indicted were one accomplice, one former FBI Agent who worked for Elgindy, and one current FBI Agent. The charges allege that the FBI databases were illegally used to obtain information about public companies and their officers and directors. Once obtained, the Elgindy network used his own web site, contacts, and message boards to "Cybersmear" a company. Elgindy or one of his accomplices would then attempt to extort a payment out of the target company in the form of stock in return for instructing their network to cover their short interest and leave the company alone. You might think this is an isolated incident, and you would be wrong. This type of conduct is widespread in the micro cap world, and more prevalent than most investors realize. In fact, short sellers have attempted to extort free shares out of several of the companies we have covered. It's business as usual in the microcap world. The open forum stock message boards which used to be valuable investor tools have become plagued with paid shills for the short sellers and used in order to spread disinformation about companies. If you choose to go to a message boards of a company you are considering investing in, you may find it dominated by bashers who seem intent on smothering any positive comment on the company. It is widely known that many of these posters are paid under the table by short sellers who are attempting to frighten investors into selling. This is truly unfortunate because the message boards used to be a viable forum for investors to exchange ideas and opinions based on facts and reasonable assumptions. The point- you should confirm as thoroughly as possible through third party sources anything you hear or read on any company you are considering investing in. This applies to both information you get from the OTC Journal, and especially information you read on a stock message board. Occasionally you will read a negative comment with based on facts with reasonable assumptions. These types of comments are worthy of your consideration, but it can be difficult to separate quality from smear. Our Disappointment When we first read about the Elgindy indictment, we had hopes that the SEC was finally taking some action to stop these illegal smear campaigns. However, several articles in the Wall Street Journal on the incident revealed the FBI learned of this illegal activity accidentally. As it turns out, the FBI happened to have been monitoring the activity of its own agents in the aftermath of the Robert Hanssen spy conviction. Elgindy was also being monitored for potential terrorist activities as he is a Muslim and a well known contributor to many Muslim organizations. We were hoping this investigation would mark the beginning of an SEC crackdown on the illegal short selling and subsequent smear campaigns which the SEC has chosen to overlook for some unknown reason. We are not opposed to hearing both sides of the story on any company we cover, but short sellers should have to operate under the same rules which newsletters like ours adhere to. Conclusion Perhaps the regulators have consciously chosen to ignore the illegal smear campaigns because they view them as a mechanism for preventing excesses in the market place. Republished from OTC Journal Newsletter.

Interesting that in the K they mentioned bankruptcy, in the latest Q they did not, worded kinda the same but not with the br word. Guess its just a play on words saying the same thing, no money. The cfs offer still on the table btw.Same for H if he ever goes back to Bastrop.
diddy
I have written several Q's in my time and the auditors always seemed to make us put in a going concern statement. But at no time did we publish a going concern and bankruptcy in the same Q or K. Usually the going concern statement does the trick. I do take notice when there is both in reports. Its almost like they want to make sure they get their point across.
mike
The following is from the 10K in February. Note, the company used the word bankruptcy.
"LIQUIDITY AND CAPITAL RESOURCES
To date, CDEX has incurred substantial losses, and will require financing for operating expense, working capital and other corporate purposes. We anticipate that we will require financing on an ongoing basis unless and until we are able to support our operating activities with additional revenues.
As of October 31, 2007, we had negative working capital of $1,471,636 including $27,384 of cash and cash equivalents. We anticipate the need to raise additional capital over the next twelve months to satisfy our current budgetary projections. Our continued operations, as well as the implementation of our business plan, therefore will depend upon our ability to raise additional funds through bank borrowings, equity or debt financing. If the Company is not successful in raising the required additional capital, it may default in its payments to its creditors and could result in the filing of bankruptcy protection.

If you like 8% dividend, how about 12%. I too took my money out and as you stated, the cd rates are nothing. I have been putting in money in mutual funds on the dips. I will let the so called experts help the money grow over time. I am going to retire this year. I could handle 5% cd rates but not the rates we see now and maybe going lower. As you, I dont have much of a choice anymore. But take a look at this stock. Not in a very popular sector now but seems to be very stable.

I dont usually buy individual stocks, just mutuals but I did look at the stock and it looks good to me. Dividend over 8%, making money, several big name institutional holders. Not a lot of insider selling and I do believe their kind of business will be around for a while. Crow would probably be the one to ask. Hope that helps.
h
Was talking about the additional signatures. Ya aint gonna sell it if ya cant service it and as I see it, Cdex has no money to hire a few service folks, IMO.
mike,
I dont know if Baxa can sell the current version of Valimed. Seems like I am not the only one who is not sure. But I do know this, if a hospital buys Valimed, I would suggest they would want service after the sale. I also suggest that hospital purchasing agents can read a Q as well as anyone. I certainly would not want to lay out a lot of cash until such time I was very sure the company is not going to go under. Do we think Cdex has the staff to do customer support, on site repairs and replacement parts and a return policy?
Different business plan but there was a company in Round Rock called Power Computing, I believe back around 2000. They made apple clone computers, lots of them. One day they were open, the next day they were closed with hundreds if not thousands of computers in the field with not support, no nothing that was in their warranty package after the purchase.

I guess I should know but would like to know where you got the salary information you posted. Thanks
wmft,
Let me say this as I dont post much anymore. Years ago when I first got involved in this ongoing saga, I listened to far too many people and it has cost me. Mostly I paid too much attention to what a relative of mine said. No matter how far the price continued to drop, I kept hearing how well things were going to be.
As the pps continued to fall, I started paying more attention to the boards. I kept an open mind and just paid attention to what was being said no matter who said it. I also made it my business to try to get to know posters on both sides of the issues, which I did. What I learned is there is a side of folks that most who post dont know. Some dont want to know but I can tell you this, because of the questions I asked and the much appreciated answers I got, it saved my thousands of dollars to this point.
I am still long this stock but not nearly as long as I could have been. Now, I dont know how this saga will end but what I will say is that IMO, many who post here have reasons that I have known about for a very long time. For some, they truely believe in what they are saying without an agenda. It used to upset me when I read stuff early on but learned the whys and what fors. I certainly dont have a bone to pick with you are anyone else simply because it matters not what I think, it only matters what you think about the future of this stock and your opinions. I respect each and every opinion even if I dont agree. Sorry this was so long.

This gentleman called me back then and asked me what I thought he should do. I knew him well enough to know he was up to his neck in stock and not a rich person. I knew he had averaged down in the teens and I did not. I do not know exactly what he sold the stock for but he did say he was well again as in broke about even. He had been in this for many years and not someone who posts on the boards but does read them. The day he called me the stock had touched 80 cents even though it did not close at that price. Now if this stock takes off, he be coming to look for me, :)
Heard it is a bit dry your direction. Any relief in sight?
rottenapple
Seems to me that when that Drudge report came out a few months ago, the stock spiked to over 80 cents. I know of one or two people that had averaged way down and got out in tact from their original investment and moved on when the stock hit the 80 cent range. Sometimes a bird in the hand is worth two in a bush, :)

I read the links and my question is what was the final outcome of the order. Were they fined in any manner or is that decision still pending. The links do not say what the final outcome for those folks were. Thanks
question Crow
We are planning to remodel our kitchen and the walls are covered with vinyl wallpaper. We just finished our bathrooms and had a guy remove the wallpaper that was there and repaint the walls. Now, that turned out to be a job. About four layers of paper had to come off. The last layer took some of the paper backing off the sheetrock. A mess you could say.
Now, after saying all that and searching the internet, would you say with the right primer that one could prime and paint OVER the vinyl wallpaper. Most sites I see say not to do that but a few say it can be done. Just wondering if you have ever seen or heard of anyone successfully painting over vinly wallpaper? I am afraid there are several layers in the kitchen as well. Thanks
thanks Crow
The egg was on my wife's van for too long. I went to site after site saying it would ruin the paint if it stayed on there even a day in this hot sun. A few said white vinigar and water, others said just forget it, even if comes off, one would have to repaint.
Then I happened to see a post written by a lady who just said forget all that nonsense and use handlotion and it not only got the egg off but the paint is in perfect condition, amazing.
