Any words on what the sales look like for amazon? Also is the location of the CAGR store in a brand new shopping district? How many other stores are around that particular area and how much traffic?
Xout if you are in that area could you post those details for me at your convenience? Thanks!
I'm still holding. At this point I'd be taking a big loss if I sell now. Lets see how the next few months go and HOPEFULLY this September's financials are going in the right direction.
Good luck all!
From 03/31/2011 to Present
Inventory Levels:
03/31/2011
$92,601
Present
$302,906
Gross Profit
03/31/2011
$70,710
Present
$379,688
Now obviously, with the new merger and a complete changeover of inventory, we are seeing increased operating costs that will probably continue well through the first half of the year IMO. However, I foresee a drastic reduction in operating costs and a large increase in revenue as CGI fully enters the market this coming year. I definitely see CGI being profitable by 3Q 2012.
I also recall some on this board saying that the only reason for increased revenues in the past was because of an inventory dump. While that most likely is the case to make room for their new merger with California Grapes, we can obviously see with the recent financials that that is no longer the case.
Just my 2 cents, and I will continue to hold my shares and accumulate as I foresee the share price dropping in the coming weeks.
We'll see how it plays out in the coming months, but I definitely see a future with this company.
GLTA
Thanks again for all your DD phil, you've definitely helped to keep the morale up around here.
It's my understanding that CGI has already been selling wines in South America for a while now, though I can't seem to find any details on their financial records. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place, hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction.
Still holding LONG and STRONG since Aug 2010!!
I am very much looking forward to the financial postings on the 15th of Jan. Hopefully we don't have a lot of longs jump ship for small gains that I'm predicting from now until then compared to the explosion of the share price coming over the course of the next few years. IMO of course.
GLTA
Thanks! anddd DONE!
Happy Holidays All, and good luck in 2012!
which email list and how do i subscribe?
I'm GREEN now too!!! Congrats!
Still holding LONG and STRONG!!
GLTA
As soon as we break though .006, I'll be in the green. I am definitely looking forward to the next couple of weeks!
I increased my share count a bit this morning as well. I'm so excited that after 2 long years my investment is going to make a nice run.
I'm glad I spent the time researching this monster pick and many thanks to all the longs who have stayed positive. Phil, Alyssa, and whodis especially. So far you all have been very accurate in your predictions and helped keep the morale up around here, thanks for all your hard work.
I'm holding LONG and STRONG!
GLTA!! SKY IS THE LIMIT!!!
I know how you feel, I'm without internet at work every day for about 12 hours. I'm so excited every day I get home to see what news is coming out.
I've got to say, although I'm not a large shareholder like some on this board, I've been slowly accumulating over the past 2 years and it seems like my investment is getting ready to really take off.
Hopefully we'll all be sipping martini's off the coast of some island here pretty soon. Great news today and am looking forward to financials.
GLTA!!!
may be down 82% from the high, but i'm still up almost 30% on my investment...
we are headed in the right direction now. when everything gets sorted out the way it should, all of us that held long will be very happy.
I'm in the same boat. When I said I was holding long before, I don't plan on selling these shares until there is a GIANT leap in PPS. With the way things have been going with this merger and recent operating profit, I'm more than happy to hold these shares for years to come.
I really think the 2Q financials are going to be able to explain the story a lot better. We need to see continued operational net gains along with the replenishing of inventory to allow those gains to continue into the future. We are so close to being profitable overall.
However, even with this possible merger with the California wines Co., we probably won't see any immediate benefit until the 1Q 2012 financials or later.
Thanks for the info. It seems CGI was really looking for a company to merge with that already has a foothold in the Chinese market.
From the outside, this seems like a great idea for both companies. Hopefully they can pull it off.
As always, still long. GLTA
I haven't been able to find a whole lot of information on CGI. How long have they been in business?
Nah, still here.
I just don't like to formulate my trading strategies around a one day 400+ million in volume.
1Q financials looked good for me and decided to buy more shares at .0002 a few weeks ago. Just looking forward to seeing the 2Q showing now.
If we continue to see operating profits over the next few quarters, I have a feeling the bashing is going to increase to a new level
Can't wait to see it to be perfectly honest :)
Definitely give your broker a call. This stock is being manipulated like crazy. If the shares are available at .0002, there should be no reason that you can't fill that order.
These $1 buys are definitely a joke. Can't do anything but laugh! haha
Ok, obviously those PR's are released to explain what the future holds for the company...Sometimes certain things don't work out exactly as planned. HOWEVER, the company still managed to turn an operating profit.
Am I mistaken when viewing the financials that the company has an operating net gain of about $26,000?
By continuing even at this current pace that was set by the 1Q, we should see the company become profitable by the end of 2011.
Next Quarter, I predict we will see the Net Income of about ($76,000) drop to about ($50,000). And will continue to see the loss drop and turn into a profit by the end of the year.
IMO of course, GLTA
I think what they were referring to when they released the financials was their overall net income which was ($78,586).
As the company continues to see operating profits and higher net gains throughout the year we will see that net loss all but disappear by 3Q-4Q in my opinion.
Bashers can bash all they want on this stock, but as I've said in the past, I'm in this for the long haul.
GLTA
Sorry, it just seems extremely odd to me, that throughout the day the shares were being bought at .0002 besides of course the 40 cents total trades at .0001, until the last day of trading right before close someone decides to sell at .0001. Something is not right here....
There is some serious manipulation of this stock going on right now. I still see the company turning a profit by 3Q-4Q of this year and will continue to hold until the end.
GLTA
A 10 cent trade drops it to .0001 then another 30 cent trade follows.
Amazing.
After looking over the financials a bit, it does appear that if operating net gain remains steady to the 2Q, the net income deficit the company is in will lessen to roughly ($50,000).
Hypothetically speaking, even if the company is not able to increase sales because of the recent PR's that were released, and operations continue the exact same throughout the 2Q, the net income deficit will drop again. At this steady rate, the company would reach profitability by end of 2011.
Assuming however, the sales are increased significantly throughout the 2Q & 3Q, because of the new agreements that were released in recent PR's, it's not crazy to see the company turn a profit by the 3Q.
Just my 2 cents.
I'm not expecting an 800%+ increase in revenue again, but I'm definitely expecting to see a lot of the company's net loss going down.
Hoping that happens
Any news on when financials are gonna come? I'm hoping we see some gains in revenue again, but we'll see. I'm betting on our net loss decreasing drastically throughout the first half of the year. Hope that pans out.
Exactly where did Frank say 1Q results would not be good? Proof please.
When you say "Then it was 2011 would be the big year. Now its the end of 2011." Generally you judge how the year went at the end of the year correct? You can get a basis for what results may look like through quarterly results WHICH WE HAVE NOT GOTTEN YET FOR 2011!
These posts you guys come up with are beyond ridiculous.
Like I said, we'll wait and see how the financial reports look for the 1st Quarter. Running your gums based on conjecture isn't proof no matter how you slice it.
I am not arguing the fact that the company cannot continue to operate while losing money every quarter. The difference in my view of the share issues and yours is I call it funding to continue operations and you call it dilution.
AGAIN, wait for 1Q results..
IF we continue to see INCREASED REVENUE and DECREASED NET LOSS, we ARE going in the RIGHT DIRECTION.
Wait for the 1Q results and we'll see if revenue has increased and net loss has decreased again.
If these things continue to happen on every future financial report, we are headed in the right direction. As for the share issues, its obvious the company is in need of funds. No one is arguing that point.
I'm not gonna get too caught up in this pps pump that appears may come. The bottom line as I've been saying for a while, as long as we see the financials going in a positive direction each quarter, we are headed in the right direction.
I'm not gonna hold my breath for 1Q to be cash flow positive, though by the end of the year it seems very feasible. Still holding long and strong. GLTA
thats too rich in general for me
im on a tight budget but have been slowly accumulating over the course of the past 2 years
im by no means a savvy investor, but by looking at the financials i saw and still see massive potential. whether or not we'll see this potential turn into a profit remains to be seen, but im willing to wait it out and will continue to follow the release of quarterly financials closely
dh, now these distribution agreements on the other hand ARE cumulative.
whodis said it best, lets wait for the financials to let us all know where we stand rather than you telling us where we stand...
i dont think any of the other longs here are expecting to be cash flow positive when 1Q results are released, but what i'm sure we are expecting AGAIN is to be headed in a positive direction.
Thanks for clearing that up, I was VERY confused......
Fairly regularly at .0002 huh?
My order probably should have been filled then. I'd have been happy to buy some up at that price, unfortunately I didn't get any bites.
I'm honestly just excited to see the 1Q financials. While obviously I don't see the company being cash flow positive from this coming report, as seen from all previous quarterly statements, revenue should have a solid increase over 4Q 2010.
If we continue to see revenue increase and net loss decrease, we are going in a positive direction. And I'm pretty sure the financials will tell the same story come release.
I agree Alyssa, rather than putting a time frame on anything, its better to analyze each quarterly financial report and determine whether or not the company is improving.
IMO the company continues to improve and while I may not have as high a share count as many other longs here, I am confident that with GDHI's continued revenue increases and the daily improvement of product placement in stores, we will see this thing run in the future.
Along the way of course there are bumps in the road as with any start-up. It is amazing that the mods allow the type of hate speeches that go on on this board, while anytime someone like whodis posts valid points to counter their claims, he gets post limited.
All of us longs really appreciate you keeping up to date with everything that is going on. It's nice to see someone so knowledgeable explain what's happening to the few of us that are less stock savvy such as myself.
I got into this stock knowing this was a LONG term deal I was making. I am more than comfortable with that as it seems with each quarter revenue is increasing and goals are being met. Albeit slowly in some peoples eyes, but they are coming along quite nicely as a startup company. As we continue to see revenue increase and net loss decrease, I can't even imagine how high the PPS will shoot once the company becomes profitable.
This is definitely exciting!
You know what the saddest part about this news is? It doesn't even surprise me anymore.
I'm still holding long and strong! If I had more funds available I'd have gladly taken the remainder of those 4's off their hands.
Any idea how much 1 bottle of wine sells on average?
Considering sales numbers for the entire 4Q totaled roughly $80,000, 840 bottles of wine sounds pretty good in 10 days.
Not only that but sales overall have continued to increase throughout 2010 as well.
1Q - $20,290.84
2Q - $50,906
3Q - $75,064
4Q - $79,277
I'm willing to bet sales numbers increase throughout 2011 as well. I'm definitely looking forward to the 1Q financials. If we see this trend continue and begin to come closer than each previous quarter in being cash flow positive, us longs are gonna make out like bandits within a year or two.
Understandably, sales would increase as store count increases. But I wouldn't compare a large sale of wine in 10 days to spitting in the ocean when total sales numbers for previous quarters were not that large.
Although I'll be busy during the time of the CC, I'm definitely going to listen to it later. I'd like to hear some details on the plan to increase profits from each individual store. It's great to see that they have met the mark at the end of last year having over 1000 stores. I think many on this board underestimate the value of having this many stores in a country like China. Just my opinion.
2011 seems to have all the makings for a great year as long as GDHI's products are marketed effectively through these stores. I don't plan on selling anytime soon, though seeing the company lacking profitability by the end of 2010 was disappointing.
Looking forward to the CC and Q1 financials to get a better view on the company's standing.
Honestly, I plan on holding onto my 500,000 shares for the next 3 years regardless of outcome. I bought in at .0006-.0008. I knew it was a gamble so of course I was prepared for a loss. I'm not gonna hold my breath for 4Q financials either. As long as Frank and Co. are able to establish themselves as a company offering great products, 2011 will be a great year for us.
The news I've heard about an uplist in the market and some new regulations coming on the 28th of this month has me excited. There is no question there are people bashing this stock daily for no other reason than to devalue it. It is so blatantly obvious that it gets sickening to read these forums.
Either way, a tiny investment of ~$350 for me could be well worth the outcome in the end. Who knows, maybe that will turn into a few thousand over the course of the next year.
Good luck to all.
BTW, has there been any news on when the 4Q financials are being released? Should be any day now if I'm not mistaken.
