Looks good fundamentally Elvis, but that doesn't seem to mean much anymore unfortunately. Wall St. is more like a roll of the dice, than fundamentals these days. I just dont get it.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
OU: A lot depends on what the co. is that is r/Ming. Pitts and Spits Inc (new symbol: PSPP)
Dont know what to make of that name. lol
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
OU: NO problem. URBA was and has been a huge mistake as most of these stupid BBs have been for me. OS is 80M though, so the market cap is like 80K or something here. If I had a business, Id buy the shell as well. Very cheap.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
Its on the daily list, so I assume so. Its been a shell for a bit now, so this is the R/M. Its been getting a lot of buying of late, but as usual a few sells and it get knocked right back to less than it was before 5-6M were bought. The BB MMs are so fair. not
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
Nope look @ the 10Q from May, and the OS is 80M. Its been MMed to death IMO.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
Yes OU. Unfortunately yes, but they are changing their name, and appear to be R/Ming as well. I hate R/Ss but. if it means there is the potential for something meaningful, then Im glad to see it R/M. With 80M OS, cant understand 800:1, that leaves 100K as the post R/S OS.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
G/L as well Elvis. It's a strange one. I wish I was an MM so I could tell what they were doing. MMs sure do seem to be supporting it at .40 and above. KInda reminds me of ATSI from before. It enede dup going to the 50s again before coming back and breaking below .40. Hope it happens.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
RTPR, wall @ .10 might come down here soon. Almost 800K volume on it. A break over .10 would be bullish for it.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
PRSF, MMs holding it at .40 and above here. Should be bottom.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
URBA: Cant believe these people are selling this just because of an R/S at these prices. Only 80M OS right now. It maazes me, tons of buying for the last 2 weeks, 2 baby sells and it goes down below where it started. These MMs just dont make any sense to me at all.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
PRDS, 26 almost gone now and no more reloading. :)
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
Yes on PRSF, and added @ .41.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
PRDS: 26 getting hit. Once donw, its gonna go this time. Patience, patience.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
PRDS: Added more. Could be the last round of selling here. Level II after 25/26 goes to 32, 40 and 50. I'm willing to wait it out.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
Patsy, it always amazes me how so many rules are never followed or checked. The SEC needs to be entirely revamped. We wouldn't be in this mess with WCOm/ENRN etc. if they did their job.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
PRDS: Ask still getting hit pretty nicely here. After 25/26, this will move nicely. The stock on the ask is continuing to eaten up so I believe it will move nicely sometime soon.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
Ive had ATSI on watch for a few days. Should bounce off this level.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
URBA, well maybe it will do better as Pitts and Spits. Hate to see an R/S of that size, but maybe there is something to it. Ive considered it dead money for some time, so fingers crossed that something becomes of it. 80M OS, so 1:800 will yield 100K OS I think.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
I know Jamie, but the same thing happened ot INAP and it went from 16 to 38 and is still looking good. Im willing to wait. These are best kind to buy and wait. INAP and now NVTL were very fruitful and worth the wait.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
In PRSF at .46. Looks good for a bounce. eom

Sold ITWO the next day for a few hundred $$$ gain. Oh well.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
RFGI: 10x11 now Patsy. I guess they took the ask down once you removed your order. lol probably not much there though. That's the difficulty with these low vol. ones, they dont fill for chit.
"Greed kills. Selling into strength is the means of making profits these days! $500 a day, keeps the employment line away!"
Yep Shac, Ive experienced the same thing on the BB. Works like that on the sell side too. Would hope the BBX would resolve this so you can see what is for sale, and how much is to be bought.

S&P cuts Kmart Funding Corp bonds series F and G
(Press release provided by Standard & Poor's)
NEW YORK, July 16 - Standard & Poor's today lowered its
ratings on Kmart Funding Corp.'s series F and G to 'D' from
triple-'C'-minus and removed them from CreditWatch negative,
where they were placed on Jan. 15, 2002 (see list).
At issuance, the bonds were secured by 24 mortgage notes.
Kmart Corp. net leased 24 of the properties that secured the
mortgage notes. Nine of the 24 leases were rejected in
conjunction with Kmart Corp.'s bankruptcy filing; another
lease was assumed and assigned, thus terminating Kmart Corp.'s
obligation to make rental payments on 10 leases. This resulted
in interest payment shortfalls to the certificateholders on
the July 2002 distribution. Series F was shorted approximately
$977,448, while series G was shorted approximately $327,423.

Nextel Turns Profitable, Revenues Jump
By Yukari Iwatani
CHICAGO (Reuters) - Nextel Communications Inc. (NasdaqNM:NXTL - News), the nation's No. 5 wireless telephone company, on Tuesday said it turned profitable in its second quarter, driven by strong customer demand that translated to a 25 percent revenue increase.
Nextel also said it expected 2002 operating cash flow of at least $3 billion compared with an earlier forecast calling for $2.5 billion.
Shares of Nextel rose to $6.20 in pre-open trading on Nasdaq from Monday's close of $5.00.
The Reston, Virginia-based firm reported net income of $325 million, or 37 cents a diluted share, for the second quarter, compared with a loss of $426 million, or 56 cents a share a year earlier. Analysts on average had been expecting a loss of 24 cents per share, according to Thomson First Call.
The company attributed the profit to accelerated cash flow, cost cuts and reduced debt.
"Strong customer demand for our unique and differentiated services and a keen focus on operational and capital efficiencies helped make this a breakthrough quarter for Nextel," Tim Donahue, president and chief executive, said.
"We're growing market share, attracting high-value subscribers and exceeding all expectations for incremental cash flow."
Nextel, which sells wireless service mostly to businesses, said it added 471,000 new customers to its service in the United States, compared with some analysts' estimates ranging from 470,000 to 500,000. It finished the quarter with 9.64 million total U.S. subscribers.
Revenue rose to $2.15 billion from $1.72 billion, as average monthly service revenue per customer increased to $71 from $68 in the second quarter and customer turnover remained flat at 2.1 percent, among the lowest in the industry.
Operating cash flow for U.S. operations jumped 69 percent to $816 million in the quarter compared with $483 million a year before, driven by an increase in revenue, lower operating costs and a reduction in mobile phone subsidies.
"On the whole, it will be a good day for Nextel," John Bensche, wireless analyst with Lehman Brothers said, adding that Nextel's results prove "there is good profitability in the wireless industry."
The wireless industry has been suffering from a loss of investor faith as the industry started seeing a slowdown in customer demand and an increase in competition after years of frenetic gains. Nearly half of Americans now own cell phones, making it more difficult for carriers to add each new subscriber.
However, amid that environment, Nextel has been posting relatively strong quarterly results helped by demand for its unique walkie-talkie-like "push-to-talk" feature.
During the quarter, Nextel said it reduced its debt and mandatory redeemable preferred stock by $1.1 billion in exchange for about 61 million shares of common stock and about $295 million in cash.
Since the second quarter ended, it also entered into agreements to repurchase about $400 million of debt in exchange for about $205 million in cash. This is expected to be reflected in a third-quarter gain.
Taken together, the $1.5 billion reduction will allow Nextel to save about $2.5 billion over the next nine years in interest, principal and dividend payments, the company said.
Nextel had $13.40 billion in total domestic long-term debt at the end of the quarter ended June 30.
Lehman's Bensche said he had some concern over the company spending cash to cut long-term debt in the current economic environment.
Nextel said it expects 2002 capital spending to be $2 billion or less. Domestic capital expenditures were $448 million in the second quarter, down about 27 percent from $616 million a year before.
Nextel also has an international subsidiary, NII Holdings Inc., but that unit filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection during the quarter.
