Do a little DD my friend. Jesse McConnell co founded Whistler, Canada’s first organic cannabis company. Which was bought by Aurora. After selling Whistler, Jesse and Peter are gonna do it again, 5 times as big and not for sale this time.
Agreed, Canadian customers are gonna get tired of the subpar quality that most of the LP’s are turning out. Companies with Premium quality organic cannabis at low production costs are gonna win in the long run. Companies like Rubicon Organics, where the management helped Canada literally write the book on organic cannabis will make it through.
Hold on just a sec, let me grab a few more at these prices.
Simply Bare™, Rubicon's Certified Organic Brand, to be Available in Ontario
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – April 20, 2020
Rubicon Organics Inc. (CSE:ROMJ) (OTCQX:ROMJF) (“Rubicon Organics” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the launch of its certified organic flower brand, Simply BareTM Organic into Ontario where it will be available in stores and online (ocs.ca) in the coming weeks.
Rubicon Organics, together with Agro-Greens Natural Products Ltd., has signed a supply agreement with the Ontario Cannabis Store for the Company’s certified organic flower.
“Following the positive consumer response in British Columbia and Saskatchewan, launching Simply BareTM Organic in Ontario, Canada’s largest market, is the natural next step for Rubicon Organics. We believe that consumers will love our terpene rich certified organic flower,” stated Jesse McConnell, CEO of Rubicon Organics.
If Crapo doesn’t bring it up for a vote, it doesn’t matter how much support there is. The fact that there is so much support is the exact reason Crapo won’t bring it up for a vote. He knows if it comes up for a vote it will pass. He is against it, so to get his way, he won’t bring it to the table for a vote.
It’s great when our politicians stand in the way of the changes that the people who elected them want. They are purposely ignoring the science of medical cannabis for their own selfish reasons. I believe the US feds only cave on cannabis after the UN and the WHO decide the science is there to justify the NEED for cannabis based medicines.
A republican senator from Idaho named Crapo is responsible for bringing the Bill up for a vote in the Senate. Thing is, Senator Crapo is backwards looking when it comes to cannabis legislation. Won’t be a vote until Crapo is gone or loses his position in the Senate.
The SAFE banking act passage will be the big catalyst that the industry needs.
Nice to see a little more chatter on this board lately.
I have been in and out of Surna since the Tom from FarmVille was involved. This is one of the best press releases that they have ever had. So much potential. Surna has had 100+ customers. So far 6 of them want this new product of Surna’s. Shouldn’t be too long before the rest of their previous customers want to add the new tech to their projects.
Exactly! This company is in the controlled environment agriculture business. Key word being agriculture. There are numerous crops grown indoors. Every greenhouse and nursery wants to operate more efficiently and will therefore want Surna. The impact in the CEA industry could be absolutely enormous!
Nice!
I have wondered the same thing when I look at the numbers.
Agreed. There will always be people who won’t have the means to grow their own, and therefore room for both legal and black market sales. The legal market just needs to be able to compete with the black market in both price and quality.
I guess, the first year I had a garden I planted way too many tomato plants. I didn’t know what to do with all the tomatoes. The nice thing with cannabis is that it keeps easier than tomatoes if you grow too much. I’m not sure what you mean by excessive limit though. If everyone can grow their own, there won’t be much incentive to grow an excessive amount. Who you gonna sell it to? Your neighbors will all be growing as well.
I’m all for tax revenues from cannabis being used in a responsible and good manner. We cannot rely on cannabis tax revenues to fix all our problems. Schools used to be fined adequately with property taxes. Roads used to be funded adequately with gas taxes and tolls. We need to make our politicians spend our tax dollars responsibly, or the taxes for cannabis won’t be enough to help with our schools and road either. Taxing cannabis too much will send customers back to the black market where no taxes get collected. I honestly think the best way is to let people grow their own as well as tax legal sales. Letting people grow their own keeps money out of black market and gives the consumer more funds to spend in the economy on other taxable goods.
Canadian side up today, on pretty good volume ta boot.
I can’t believe they’ve gone unnoticed by the US investors for so long. I have a feeling that will change now that they are up and running.
“The consumer is going to tell you if your product is premium or not” Jesse McConnell.
Any guesses as to where Rubicon is at with revenues in the 4th qt? Should be up substantially due to the sales of their latest harvest. Quality always sells and can command a premium price.
Don’t need him to do a chart. Just thought it would get more eyes on Cresco. Got your attention
Very nice exposure to have good relationships with the news. In Milwaukee, whenever they talk about CBD, they talk to the same CBD shop owner. Hope that trend follows for Cresco with the Chicago news.
Can you do CRLBF? With Illinois Legalization here this stock is gonna be one to watch.
This stock about to explode with Illinois legalization! Canadian market pales in comparison to US market. With the sector as beat down as it is, Cresco prices right now are like getting Canopy back at $2 before Canada went legal.
Looks like they are selling top of the line organic cannabis to me. Picked up a few more shares this morning. I have officially crossed the Rubicon.
Bacardi and Coca Cola. Great combination.

Great news for Harborside and the industry as a whole!
Any guess as to when the Senate will take a vote on the SAFE banking act?
The opioid crisis makes it painfully obvious.
Well now, you know the FDA...health & safety above all. Look at all the research they did on OxyContin and it’s addictive nature.
Oct 17 it will be legal in Canada for edibles and infused drinks to be sold?
As a shareholder of Harborside Inc., I would just like my investment to be in the best position it can be in when the legality in the US changes. The SAFE banking act should pass the Senate by the end of the month. I think that legalization is gaining momentum. It would be nice if Harborside would uplist soon to take advantage.
I agree that the Canadian exchanges are better than any of the OTC exchanges. I would love to see Harborside trade on the NASDAQ or NYSE. It’s not an opinion that Harborside would have more interest from American investors if it were up listed. I know the company and know what I own, so I have no problem buying shares of Harborside no matter what exchange they trade on. Most American investors however, won’t touch the grey market. It’s where stocks go to die. My original question to the board was if anyone here knew if Harborside had plans on uplisting it’s American ticker soon. I don’t see why they wouldn’t. They surely qualify to move up to the QX or QB
