Notice that "phoneguard" AKA 'textonhold" is not listed as a supporter. does this event have any connection to us anymore as far as financial ties?

I've been on this ride since spring of '09..... I've thrown up a few times with the twists and turns, and I've wanted to jump off when I could see no more tracks in front of me. But, I'm still waiting on this thing...

Ohio Governor bans text reading, typing, or sending while driving. Minors banned from cell phone usage altogether while driving...

I remember that post. I'm just saying we haven't heard anything at all since. It seems like an easy way for them to pick a "finale" date of Mother's day. Give it away free, then go down the tubes as "the good guy that failed". I don't see good news coming... but boy I hope I'm wrong.
Did anyone stop to consider that the free app ends on Mother's day because they might announce the death of the company on Monday?
The problem is they don't have any money for "guns a blazin"
OPMG has been listed under corporate supporters/non sponsors since at least last week. Its not a new thing.
Does everyone really think its going to be a sellout concert? I hope it is, I'm just curious if everyone thinks it will be. It seems there are a lot of tickets left. I'm not sure why we would sticky the post about there being plenty of tickets left - that's what made me realize that it may not be as big as people on this board are making it seem. two weeks before the concert and plenty of tickets remain, plus now they offer a discount..... anyone else worried?
Dag
As a little treat? Or as a "we aren't selling enough tickets"?
Yep, we need to stickie that up top - it doesn't get much bigger at this point as far as reaching the masses.
dag
People are actually looking for the app....

Justin Bieber, PhoneGuard, Inc. and the Remember Alex Brown Foundation Reach Millions Through Texting and Driving Segment on NBC's The Today Show
Two-time Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Justin Bieber, PhoneGuard, Inc., a subsidiary of Options Media Group Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: OPMG) (PINKSHEETS: OPMG), and the Remember Alex Brown Foundation captured millions of viewers across the nation today as NBC's The Today Show highlighted the partnership in a texting and driving segment.
Riding along the expressway with the Florida Highway Patrol, The Today Show Correspondent Kerry Sanders presented the fatal realities of texting while driving and included the Brown family who lost their daughter Alex Brown, a high school senior, to texting while driving. The Today Show captured the Brown family in action, as they shared their story to an auditorium full of strangers, hoping to create awareness for responsible texting. PhoneGuard, Inc. CEO Scott Frohman was also featured doing an interactive Drive Safeâ„¢ application demo with Sanders, showcasing the functionality of the product.

Available for BlackBerry and Android smart phones, the Drive Safeâ„¢ application enables global positioning satellite (GPS) tracking to calculate the speed of travel while a vehicle is in motion. Once vehicle speed reaches 10 miles per hour, the Drive Safeâ„¢ application locks the phone's keyboard, preventing the user from emailing, surfing the web or texting while driving. Other Drive Safeâ„¢ features include an Auto-Reply button, a pre-set response that is automatically delivered to the texter or caller and reads I am driving and will contact you when I reach my destination; a Request Permission button that allows users to request permission from the administrator to have functionality of the mobile phone; and an Admin Override button, allowing the administrator to type in a set password to override PhoneGuard's System Settings so that specific mobile functions can be utilized. For example, if a child is riding the bus, DriveSafeâ„¢ will know he or she is in a moving vehicle and will disable the phone. The child will then hit Request Permission, which sends a text message to the administrator. The administrator can then text "yes" back to the disabled phone, unlocking the phone for 15 minutes. After this time limit, the keyboard will be disabled again.
PhoneGuard and Justin Bieber developed Drive Safeâ„¢ as a simpler and free version of a larger application suite, which will be available shortly through this initial free application. PhoneGuard Pro product suite will include a host of safety and convenience-oriented applications that will significantly enhance the user's smart phone experience including: 1) GeoFencing, which will allow the phone's administrator to select geographic boundaries and receive a text message if the phone strays outside of the boundaries, 2) Panic Button, which is a preselected and programmed emergency call function that is activated by the user simply hitting one key, 3) Speed Control enables the phone's administrator to receive text message alerts showing the location and speed of the user's mobile phone, 4) Locator, which allows easy GPS tracking of a lost or misplaced handset, and 5) Auto-Reply, which allows users to set up customized responses that will automatically be sent to those who send text messages to the user while the phone is in motion. The new PhoneGuard Pro will also contain a set of robust administrative tools, such as Administrator Override that lets the administrator allow full use of the mobile phone at all times, and Request Permission, which allows a family member or employee to request permission from the administrator to use the mobile phone even while it is in motion. PhoneGuard, Inc. hopes to make Drive Safeâ„¢ accessible to as many drivers as possible.

Hi Dag (my name altered),
[] As far as buying the product direct, we have been testing a freemium model that gives the product away for free with only a trial of 2 weeks for the premium version. We then go out with a series of responses to convert them into paying customers. If you download the product on an android or blackberry you will see exactly how it works.
Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Scott
To answer your question, no I haven't. But I have common sense. And common sense says that if 99.9% of your business is wrapped up in a single product that is an "anti texting while driving" product, and your entire company future depends on it, you TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE of an ANTI TEXTING WHILE DRIVING month that is NATIONALLY recognized. To NOT do so is incompetence.
Not interested in arguing, just speaking my thoughts and frustrations.
Dag
If Phoneguard isn't all over this "no texting and driving month" already with campaigns everywhere, we are all in for major disappointment. They should be everywhere already.
On April 1st, we should have seen phoneguard EVERYWHERE. Guns a blazing couldn't have a better set up than a ANTITEXTING AND DRIVING MONTH!!! And what did we do? Nothing.
How is it that the phoneguard logo isn't on the concert page PROMOTING the concert?? Why are we still not listed as a supporter and/or sponsor ON THE CONCERT page PROMOTING the concert?
1. Not prepared
2. Not taking advantage of public opportunity (the MONTH IS SET ASIDE FOR JUST THIS CAUSE!!)
3. Not communicating
4. Not having any respect for the shareholders that are the ONLY source of income for this company.
Phoneguard not only is dropping the ball, I'm wondering if they ever had balls to begin with. Forget the "long haul" investment - I'm concerned that this company isn't even going to make it to the summertime without going bankrupt. I've been waiting for two years, continuing to average down, but this thing won't even make it above 2 cents again before it goes under.
Dag
I have been here for two years, and I have been "conditioned" to not get excited. Every time I have been allowed to get pumped up, I've been let down. My BIGGEST mistake was not selling at the .098 back in august. I'm certainly hoping we see a dime out of all the hype this time...
Dag
Yet no bands, and not a single mention of phoneguard....
I know I'm going to take some heat for this, but...
I don't think we should be constantly posting new "stickes" that are clearly old news. It just seems manipulative to new comers to the board. All that stuff is covered in the great "DD lists" that you guys have been creating and keeping up with. Those DD lists are what should remain on the stickies. I know the intention is good, but when we constantly put new headlines up there that are over a month old (ie: not really new), it seems desperate and misleading. Just my thoughts.
The company will come through. It seems obvious that the higher ups are now focused on developing this company into a solid opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our youth (as well as all distractible drivers) rather than an opportunity for investors. Therefore, all of us that are invested in the company for profit (reality), have to just be patient.
Dag
Anybody familiar with the term "DTC chill"..... some people can't buy shares of OPMG
It says the video has been removed by the user...
What I don't get is why the company wouldn't tell us investors about the behind the scenes goodies. It would clearly drive up the pps and therefore the company would have more cash from dilution.
I've been in this stock for 3 years! i keep averaging down, over a million at .029, but at some point I need it to turn back around...
Here is what is happening in my opinion...
The company clearly wants to make money. However, there are many different ways to go about it. Most of us are wanting communication about actual product and potential contracts so that we can see product movement - as we should be in the know. But, what I think is happening, is that the management has another plan. I think their plan is to not worry so much about communicating with us, and instead all of their energy is going into communicating behind the scenes with other companies. 90% of the companies we currently know about, we had to find out through our own DD, we did not get any of that info directly from phoneguard. So, that tells me that there is SOOOO much more that is going on that we still haven't figured out yet.
What does that mean?
I believe the company is trying to build relationships and reputable potential with quality companies with the hopes that we will be bought out when a big box sees the potential. Look at St. Claire's history - that's what he does. He gets into small companies, then builds and sells the company for profit. If that happens, all the longs will be well rewarded. I've been in this thing for almost three years, and held on through the .0975's (darn it!), but it will be worth it in the long run....
The bottom line - I don't think they are trying to move product - I think they are trying to sell the company, and let the parent company move the product.
Dag
I sure hope the beibs has something in store, it just seems like this company has been "poised" forever yet the trigger still hasn't been pulled. I'm a two year long term investor, and I even bypassed the .099 this past summer. I'm hoping this thing hits, I don't care when, just that it does.
Dag
Why does it matter to investors that this guy likes to race cars?
In case there is ANY doubt about what's coming....

Justin Bieber Beats Lady Gaga's Record on YouTube
Posted Tue Nov 1, 2011 12:46pm PDT by Claudine Zap in Stop The Presses!
Lady Gaga may have her "Little Monsters," but Justin Bieber's "Beliebers" have her outnumbered on YouTube: The "Baby" singer who was first discovered on the video-sharing channel just hit a record 2 billion views, beating out Lady Gaga's 2010 record of 1 billion, YouTube confirmed.
According to the social media tracking site Famecount, the teen idol received a massive 94 million views on his channel last month, thanks in part to the huge popularity of the pop singer's new holiday-themed single "Mistletoe," which snagged over 28 million views so far.
The teen heartthrob first found fame on YouTube back in 2007, when his mom uploaded videos of the 12-year-old from Ontario, Canada. The videos quickly went viral and the singer became a social-media star.
The now 17-year-old also holds the world record for most popular single on YouTube, with a whopping 650 million views to date of his hit tune "Baby."
But don't count out Gaga. The diva still rules on Twitter, with 15 million followers (the Biebs has 13.9 million), and Facebook, where she rocks over 44 million fans (eclipsing the teen idol's 37 million). The "Bad Romance" hitmaker is no slouch on YouTube, either, with 1.8 billion views. For the record, R&B artist Rihanna comes in as third most viewed on YouTube, with an impressive 1.7 billion views.
Here's something to think about....
With Christmas coming up, think about all the teeny boppers getting their first cell phones... Parents would be crazy not to install phoneguard on all of these phones across the country!
Dag
You also have to think about how many apps get turned down by apple - they must know that this is something special!
Dag
I've been with OPMG for almost two years... I'm not giving it up until $1. I lurk without posting too often, but I am definitely keeping up with the company.
Dag
I'm going to go out on a limb and say maybe we are thinking too small (oprah and Ellen are not small - but who is even bigger right now?) its going to be a slightly more surprising person - I say it's going to be lady gaga!
Dag
Lnong - I use a app called "Stockwatcher" and it shows up to three decimal places past 1 (ie 4.035)
Dag
total irony!
I'm with you there...
Not THAT kind of split.... but still
http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/stopthepresses/392236/love-on-the-rocks-for-justin-and-selena/
Thanks for all the responses. This company is driving me crazy :) I'm holding still... with my fingers crossed a little tighter these days.
Dag
Here's what concerns me....
He sells 2 million shares the DAY BEFORE a Press release.....?
Coal - what's your take on the timing of this?
