I assume you want the Investor Relations for CCGI. If so why not go directly to the website www.carcharging.com. They have IR info. and contacts. You can also register for e-mail alerts.
Check Out the two SC 13/Gs filed in the last quarter. Two major institutional investors filed schedule 13/Gs declaring and acquiring more than 5% ownership taken in the last quarter of 2015. Horton Capital Partners LLC took ownership of 5.4 Million shares with additional warrants to purchase more. & Wolverine Flagship Fund acquired 3.9 million shares during the same time frame. This news just became apparent today. This of course is a major investment in CCGI. I am not sure if this amounts to a dilution to shares outstanding. It depends on how they were acquired. Either way I see it as a positive commitment toward the health and growth of the company.
Has anyone heard any news? 2050 shares traded down $7.50 so far today after being dormant for years. This may be the capitulation by some on the inside or some bad news. I have nothing to report.
I see it a little differently. Any activity especially 466 shares traded when the stock has been dormant for years I see as a positive. I also recall that about this time last year I received their once a year "state of the company" letter from the CEO. I am looking for some positive news this time. Anyway those are my 8 shares shown in volume today. Bought 8 shares @ 18.49. A small purchase just in case something worth being optimistic about occurs soon.
Confusion Reigns!!Can someone explain to me what happened yesterday? There were 200K+ shares traded. Today 0 so far. Although the stock tanked 3 cents there were many positive buys in the 20-24 cents range including 88K at 20-24 cents. Is this an overall bullish sentiment or is this insider positioning? Are they just dumping? Is this a new starting point for an upward trend? I am totally confused about the behavior of the trading. Any input ideas would help.
I do not think this was fat fingers. Coincidentally over the weekend I heard a commercial on a local news station in NY 1010/ WINS. The commercial aired during the market/update business segment and it was for SmarTrend the trading, investment platform for Comtex. Of course this is the first ever commercial I have heard for a Comtex product. So either someone traded on hearing the commercial or someone who knows something is trading ahead of the curve. Interesting !!!!
This will interest all. I live in NY and was able to visit CEO Chip Brian in the Manhattan headquarters last September 2015. I met with Chip and one of his R&D experts. I have been a shareholder in this Company since the IPO in 1981 when it was called Comtex Scientific. I had met Mr. Brian on at least 2 other occasions in the past including the June 2010 reverse split/Go Private shareholder meeting in Virginia. To say the least I was not impressed at our September 2015 meeting. I pointed out at the time that the Comtex website was not functioning properly with no news updates as designed. He was "unaware" of that and would address it. He theorized that the lack of increase in revenue was a result of competition and client budget issues which has been the song for the last 8-10 years. He told me they had just recently opened a wealth management option for clients. They had a paltry 2.5 million. under management. I could not figure out how he can justify his salary year after year with a declining revenue stream. But just before I left he asked me how many shares I owned. I told him and he asked me if I would be willing to sell them back to the company. I told him NO. No point in selling now after all these years. I left knowing my shares would not be appreciating anytime soon. They were trading @ $2.50 at the time. I also was wondering about the last comment offer to buy back shares. In November 2015 he was replaced by C.W. Gilluly who I also met many years ago. He was the original CEO. Brian is still there on the Board. The main company website has gotten a complete makeover and SmarTrend website looks professional. With the stock trading sporadically there seems to be some interest. I have no idea who is buying or selling. But any activity is good after all these no/bad news years. The fiscal year just ended in June. We'll see in September with the meager annual update if the company is finally in turnaround mode. I am hoping for an acquisition or complete turnaround. Either way I am hanging on and will not be selling until I see a major appreciation in price or something definitive forthcoming.
This just may be a computer glitch of some sort. Was it an actual trade? I doubt it. I went on the Comtex website recently and it leaves a great deal to be desired. It is not updated and some links do not work. The SMARTrend website however is up dynamic and real time. Do you know of any other news? I still have many shares. I live in NY and will vist their offices sometime in the next month or so.
Graat analogy. I shall remain on the placid waters of Golden Pond awaiting for the tide and wind to move us forward again. Hopefully we will not have to wait too much longer
I'm still here but absolutely nothing to report. I wish I knew what or if any plans or progress was being made with this company. You seem to have the pulse if there even is one.
Do you have any idea why the ASK would jump to $1,220?
To answer your ? Yes, the money was taken form my brokerage account and the 1 share was added to my position. I did not see any evidence of the trade anywhere on any site however. Did you?
Bought 1 share @ $300 it was executed within 1 minute. Nothing changed on bid or ask. Just an experiment.
I'm thinking putting in a buy for 1 share @ the full ask $300 price. Do you think it will be executed? It may raise the bid price of $13.00 substantially. Your thoughts?
To answer your question. I have both physical certificates and shares in street name. To this point I have not received any private or otherwise any additional info relative to new information, post split. It is, however, early in the post split era. I will post here if I become privy to anything new. What makes you think the post split price will be available on pink sheets Monday 7/26?
I stayed with the stock throuhout the reverse split process. The reason: I have spoken to company representatives on 2 occaisions, pre and post split. The "whisper" on the status of this company and prospects are for something positive over the longer term. The main focus is to cut expenses and enhance the existing and create a more robust product line. I know, to your point, Peter Kamin did not object to the reverse split and to my knowledge still owns all his post split shares. I take this as a very positive sign. I just wish there was away to monitor the status, price and volume post split. If anyone comes upon a way to watch the stock daily please advise. Thanks
Since the 1/1000 CMTX reverse stock split has been approved and already taken effect how is it possible that the old shares with a volume today of 56,000 can trade at the old price with a high of $1.01 and a current price of $0.35? This is not a misprint or error since 1200 shares traded yesterday @$0.28. Does anyone have an explanation?
