Car Charging Group and Equity Residential Host "Plug-In" Ceremony to Unveil Redmond's First Apartment Community EV Charging Station at Red160
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/car-charging-group-and-equity-residential-host-plug-in-ceremony-to-unveil-redmonds-first-apartment-community-ev-charging-station-at-red160-2011-06-24?reflink=MW_news_stmp
REDMOND, Wash. and MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Jun 24, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Car Charging Group, Inc. /quotes/zigman/4181752 CCGI -3.77% , an electric vehicle charging service provider and Equity Residential, one of the nation's leading owners, developers and operators of high-quality apartment properties, recently held a "plug-in" ceremony to unveil an EV charging station at its downtown Redmond, Wash., apartment community, Red160, located at 16015 Cleveland St.
"Experts say that 80 percent of electric vehicle charging will be done at home. Recognizing that, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, 33 percent of Americans rent and often don't have access to private garages, forward-thinking apartment developers such as Equity Residential are installing car charging stations to increase the number of Washington state residents who can participate in the EV revolution," said Michael D. Farkas, CEO of Car Charging Group.
Car Charging Group, the EV charging system owner and provider, and Equity Residential, the Red160 developer, demonstrated an EV charging session with an all-electric Wheego LiFe, which was provided by Seattle, Wash.-based MC Electric Vehicles and with an all-electric Nissan Leaf, which was provided by Charge Northwest. After the charging demonstration, the electric vehicle providers offered event-goers an opportunity to test drive EVs.
"We are proud to be the first in Redmond to provide this modern, environmentally friendly amenity to our residential community," said Karen Caplan, Vice President of Property Management at Equity Residential. "With the advent of the new generation of electric cars, it is increasingly important to provide a charging infrastructure for apartment residents who share a common garage. Red160 is the perfect location to launch this program."
Car Charging Group installed a Level II ChargePoint(R) Networked Charging Station, manufactured by Coulomb Technologies in the parking garage adjacent to the Red160 main lobby. The garage is open to residents as well as the public. Car Charging Group has already installed units for Equity Residential in Boston, Mass.; Seattle, Wash.; and Washington, D.C.; and will install and maintain EV charging stations in four additional Equity Residential locations, including Coral Gables and Deerfield Beach, Fla., and Los Angeles and San Diego, Calif.

Far from it!
From my vantage point MediaG3 MDGC looks like a company focused on developing their technology and services.
The recent financials show that MediaG3 has generated just under half a million dollars in revenue in the first quarter of 2011 through sales of equipment and licensing of their technology. (Reference links below)

Keep in mind that MediaG3 could issue PR's everyday if they wanted, but they appear to be holding their cards close to their vest at this point, quietly working behind the scenes.
Very bold statements.

LOL, it is pretty clear that the "Boise Project" is a hybrid/ wireless network.
Wireless was certainly mentioned enough for me to understand "wireless" was the focus for this network and the fact that they are obtaining such speeds is incredible!
Thanks for the update!
Third Party Verification is a must IMO.
I am looking forward to MDGC utilizing the HEXA2 technology.

Agreed. I believe all 'shareholders' in MediaG3 MDGC would love to see a P.R. outlining the financials and the companies first revenues under the current CEO Val Westergard.
This is a great accomplishment!
I think all 'shareholders' can also agree that we would love to see a return the "Current Pink Status" on OTC Markets.
That would happen once the fins are verified and an Attorney Letter is received by OTC Markets.
(fingers crossed)

No, that is not the case.
Etrade shows all insider and company transactions.
I believe due to the limited status for MDGC, not all transactions are detailed.
The 'Current Pink Status' may have forced Van Tassel to file the 144 and it be disclosed.
Unfortunately I do not know all of the details surrounding disclosure of individuals or companies issuing shares under 'Limited Status', but comparing the filings from the company to the charts from Etrade shows plenty of insider transactions without notation.
It appears that the company and/or insiders could buy and sell shares of MDGC without public notification.
That is why it is important to look at the quarterly filings from the company.
The Q1 filings http://www.otcmarkets.com/otciq/ajax/showFinancialReportById.pdf?id=51646 shows MDGC issued 50 million shares on February 11, 2011 for repayment of debt and finance charges.
That is the only issuance of shares by the company in 2011 up to March 31.
Please provide proof of the statements made as facts in this post.
Unless otherwise proven, the statements in that post are simply opinion.
I am well aware of the rules.
I am also aware that an MM or individual can sell shares that they don't have as long as they cover within the time frame allowed by current rules.

Sprint Gets Lien on LightSquared Spectrum: Will Anybody Need It?
June 17, 2011
http://satellite.tmcnet.com/topics/satellite/articles/187164-sprint-gets-lien-lightsquared-spectrum-will-anybody-need.htm
LightSquared (News - Alert) has won approval from its lenders to give Sprint (News - Alert) Nextel Corp. a second lien on its spectrum, part of a deal under which the wireless start-up will rent space on Sprint's network, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The concession gives Sprint additional security if a deal with LightSquared is finalized, but might also provide a path for Sprint to acquire the LightSquared spectrum in the event LightSquared fails. The issue, some might say, is whether Sprint would want to do so.
In the event of default, Sprint would apparently have to pay off the $1.5 billion of first lien debt and would also presumably need to keep the “Spectrum Cooperation Agreement” with Inmarsat (News - Alert) in place, which involves payments of $115 million per year (increasing at an annual rate of three percent) plus additional rebanding payments over the next year, according to TMF Associates.
The effective cost to Sprint of acquiring LightSquared’s spectrum assets would be in the region of $3.5 billion to $4 billion (the NPV of the Inmarsat payments is $2 billion).
But there's another complication. It isn't yet clear whether the Federal Communications Commission will allow LightSquared to use the upper part of its L-band spectrum, to avoid GPS interference problems which seem to be caused by signals in the upper part of the band. In that case, Sprint might be paying for about 20 MHz of LTE (News - Alert)-capable spectrum.
If LightSquared terminated the agreement with Inmarsat without making five years of lease payments, then the default spectrum allocation would go back to even less usable spectrum, probably resembling something like the Phase 0 allocation (i.e. only 2×5MHz in the upper L-band).
As a result, there is certainly no benefit to LightSquared (or Sprint) in trying to get out of the Inmarsat agreement and expecting that there will still be 20 MHz of LTE-capable spectrum that doesn’t interfere with GPS.
On top of all that, Harbiner Capital, which is trying to create LightSquared, is facing significant redemption pressure from investors who want out.
If you have followed various mobile satellite ventures over the last two decades, you will remember that there has been more failure than success in the field, which is one reason why the satellite spectrum is available in the first place. If it turns out that LightSquared can use only about 20 MHz of its 40 MHz worth of spectrum, you would think there will additional repercussions.
At a rough level, wouldn't you say the venture is “worth” only about half of whatever valuation you thought it had before it lost half its spectrum?
And as far as Sprint's plans for additional spectrum, there is some growing speculation that Clearwire (News - Alert) is getting ready to sell itself in any case. Sprint owns about 54 percent of Clearwire already, and if it were sold, Sprint would have all the spectrum it needs to build a new Long Term Evolution network, which clearly is coming.
Wouldn't it be odd if LightSquared, which wanted to build a network, ultimately finds itself a tenant on Sprint's LTE network instead, with Clearwire history? What that would do to LightSquared's wholesale business plan is unclear. LightSquared might find itself using its satellite links mostly for backhaul, and using Sprint's LTE network (formerly Clearwire) for the actual terrestrial connections.
Even then, some analysts would have trouble coming up with a plausible, self-sustaining business model for LightSquared. The wholesale-only model hasn't worked all that well in the U.S. market, in any segment of the business, on a long-term basis.
KIDFID, thanks for the heads up.

Solutions enable reliable wireless coverage in guest rooms and meeting spaces
VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Corning MobileAccess, part of Corning Incorporated’s (NYSE:GLW) Telecommunications segment, today announced that the Corning MobileAccess distributed antenna systems have been chosen to deliver pervasive wireless service coverage in seven Orlando hotels and one convention center, totaling nearly 5,000 guest and meeting rooms, and more than 1.7 million square feet.
Corning MobileAccess’ solutions were chosen because of their unique ability to support multiple services on a single, broadband infrastructure that addresses all of the carrier’s services, including 4G LTE Multi-Input/Multi-Output (MIMO). The systems are also scalable to easily accommodate future upgrades or expansions without affecting the existing services.
“Business and leisure travelers expect consistent, reliable coverage, and in high-traffic venues this can put a strain on network capacity,” said Jeff Kunst, vice president of product management, Corning MobileAccess. “The carriers are rising to the challenge by investing in network improvements, and we are happy to support their efforts to strengthen in-building coverage and expand to the next generation of 4G LTE. Hotels will now be ready to meet the increased consumer demand for 4G, while continuing to provide an improved guest and staff experience.”
One hotel currently benefiting from the Corning MobileAccess solutions is The Peabody Orlando (www.peabodyorlando.com), which recently completed its $450-million expansion last September, making it the largest non-gaming Forbes Four-Star, AAA Four Diamond hotel in the United States. Since opening its doors in 1986, The Peabody Orlando has established itself as the Orlando convention hotel of choice for the nation's professional meeting planners, offering 1,641 guestrooms including 193 suites, 300,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and function space and 105 breakout rooms.
“We are committed to providing our guests with the highest level of luxury and convenience. Central to this mission is ensuring they can use the latest wireless technology as easily and reliably inside our world-class facility as they have come to expect outside,” said Brian Seays, regional IT director, Peabody Hotel Group. “Corning MobileAccess’ scalable, multi-service solution eliminates poor cellular reception and dead-spot issues, guaranteeing consistent wireless communications in nearly every corner of the property. By improving our own internal communications, it also enables our staff to offer the highest level of service and security.”

Looks like folks are selling into the news after the initial spike. I wouldn't be surprised to see a green close today.
Great find! Thank you.
Rackspace is getting their hands into everything they can.
I believe they are hungry and appear to be under constant expansion.
Thanks for the update just1dering!
I hope there is some follow through to this by MDGC and MGI.
It appears you failed to read the section referencing non-operating subsidiaries.
Since MediaG3 acquired Wytec, they own the trademarks, patents etc.
I do not believe that anyone that worked for Wytec prior to MediaG3's acquisition still does.
MediaG3 does not seem to imply this, but you do.
MediaG3 claims that Wytec is a subsidiary on their website as well as the Wytec website.
As stated above, "they own the trademarks, patents etc."
Yes, Wytec is indeed a subsidiary of MediaG3.
Maybe the legal definition will clear things up?
http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/subsidiary
subsidiary
A subsidiary corporation or company is one in which another, generally larger, corporation, known as the parent corporation, owns all or at least a majority of the shares. As the owner of the subsidiary, the parent corporation may control the activities of the subsidiary. This arrangement differs from a merger, in which a corporation purchases another company and dissolves the purchased company's organizational structure and identity.
Subsidiaries can be formed in different ways and for various reasons. A corporation can form a subsidiary either by purchasing a controlling interest in an existing company or by creating the company itself. When a corporation acquires an existing company, forming a subsidiary can be preferable to a merger because the parent corporation can acquire a controlling interest with a smaller investment than a merger would require. In addition, the approval of the stockholders of the acquired firm is not required as it would be in the case of a merger.
When a company is purchased, the parent corporation may determine that the acquired company's name recognition in the market merits making it a subsidiary rather than merging it with the parent. A subsidiary may also produce goods or services that are completely different from those produced by the parent corporation. In that case it would not make sense to merge the operations.
Corporations that operate in more than one country often find it useful or necessary to create subsidiaries. For example, a multinational corporation may create a subsidiary in a country to obtain favorable tax treatment, or a country may require multinational corporations to establish local subsidiaries in order to do business there.
Corporations also create subsidiaries for the specific purpose of limiting their liability in connection with a risky new business. The parent and subsidiary remain separate legal entities, and the obligations of one are separate from those of the other. Nevertheless, if a subsidiary becomes financially insecure, the parent corporation is often sued by creditors. In some instances courts will hold the parent corporation liable, but generally the separation of corporate identities immunizes the parent corporation from financial responsibility for the subsidiary's liabilities.
One disadvantage of the parent-subsidiary relationship is the possibility of multiple taxation. Another is the duty of the parent corporation to promote the subsidiary's corporate interests, to act in its best interest, and to maintain a separate corporate identity. If the parent fails to meet these requirements, the courts will perceive the subsidiary as merely a business conduit for the parent, and the two corporations will be viewed as one entity for liability purposes.
Here is a secondary reference that helps even more.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subsidiary
A subsidiary, in business matters, is an entity that is controlled by a separate higher entity. The controlled entity is called a company, corporation, or limited liability company; and in some cases can be a government or state-owned enterprise, and the controlling entity is called its parent (or the parent company).
An operating subsidiary is a business term frequently used within the United States railroad industry. In the case of a railroad, it refers to a company that is a subsidiary but operates with its own identity, locomotives and rolling stock. In contrast, a non-operating subsidiary would exist on paper only (i.e. stocks, bonds, articles of incorporation) and would use the identity and rolling stock of the parent company.
Subsidiaries are a common feature of business life, and most if not all major businesses organize their operations in this way. Examples include holding companies such as Berkshire Hathaway as in this listing of its subsidiaries, Time Warner, or Citigroup; as well as more focused companies such as IBM, or Xerox Corporation. These, and others, organize their businesses into national or functional subsidiaries, sometimes with multiple levels of subsidiaries.
http://www.mediag3.com/history.php
MediaG3, as it is today, preparing for the next stage is truly the great design of a team of engineers who envisioned the future of communications coming and acted on it.
Wytec, Incorporated was a California corporation that emerged from a 20 year old communications research company in 1995 for the purpose of transitioning some of its exotic technology into the commercial marketplace. The Wytec team did not aggressively advertised the Company’s products at trade shows and technology conferences, because they believe it is in the best interest of the wireless communications industry to deploy hardware, not hype. In 1995, founders Jerome Woodard, Robert Julien, and William Oatman decided to take their collective expertise, over twenty years, in developing and deploying communications systems to the commercial, military and international markets. The result was Wytec Incorporated. Wytec was formed to design, manufacture, install, and support wireless communications systems that provide last-mile broadband access for subscribers who require bi-directional Internet, voice and data communications services. Wytec’s intensive design efforts resulted in five US patents for their advanced technology, and this group continued in their efforts to develop superior equipment at lower cost. Wytec’s typical customers are domestic and international operating companies holding the licenses to provide communication services in the millimeter-wave frequency bands from 24 to 43 Ghz. Wytec was the first to market with a product in the new 40-43 Ghz band in Europe.
Wytec brought together some of the most influential individuals in the wireless industry to contribute to the success of Wytec’s first generation back haul and wireless broadband technologies. Executives from AT&T, Nokia, Sprint, Qwest, Boeing, Bell Labs, 3Com, Sun Microsystems, and Clearwire, just to name a few. After contributing to Wytec’s brain pool and knowledge bank most have gone on to lead or play a sugnificant role with many of the most highly regarded wireless companies of the day. They raised millions in private funding to research & develop, patent, manufacture products, deploy and build Wytec into an international success story in the wireless industry. Wytec technology and equipment has a reputation as state of the art around the world, notably China, Argentina, Italy, Europe and the US. Using the combined experience of these top tier executives to help shape the direction and capacity for future development; including the patents, products and technology that would bring the best wireless technology to the awaiting world market. With pooled private resources Wytec created leading edge technologies and began sales and operations in several test beds around the world.
Wytec was acquired in 2003 by Ohana Wireless, of Santa Clara; who continued the vision and expanded it into China and the Philippines markets. This work has proven to be an incredible part of the history of the company. The US Department of Trade and Commerce presented an opportunity to receive a grant to further test Wytec and Ohana Wireless’s technologies in China.
MediaG3, founded in 2005, contributed two subsidiaries, Oriental Media and Little Sheep along with their product portfolio of software, applications and services to enable commercial customers to offer interactive TV and broadband Internet access at a significantly reduced cost.
September 2007, MediaG3 acquired ADML Holdings which included Wytec, Ohana Wireless and all trademarks and intellectual property.
2009 MediaG3 merges with Imperial Wireless, who brought their relationships with national broadband wireless companies, access to products and services for Internet, phone and data throughout the US.
2010 the re-launch of a great company combining the best of everything so far, looking forward to a couple mergers & acquisitions as well as attracting the best talent the wireless industry has to combine and build the best fixed and Wireless Broadband Internet company in the world.
MediaG3 offers products and services to make broadband bi-directional communications possible in vast areas lacking fixed or wireless infrastructures. MediaG3's product portfolio applications and services enable commercial customers to offer interactive TV and broadband Internet access at a significantly reduced cost.
This has already been hashed out but since the post I am replying to contains incorrect information, I will simply share what has been posted previously.

IBM Unveils Nanotechnology Circuits for Wireless Devices
http://www.pcbdesign007.com/pages/zone.cgi?a=77158&artpg=1
Today, IBM Research scientists announced that they have achieved a milestone in creating a building block for the future of wireless devices. In a paper published yesterday in the magazine Science, IBM researchers announced the first integrated circuit fabricated from wafer-size graphene, and demonstrated a broadband frequency mixer operating at frequencies up to 10 gigahertz (10 billion cycles/second).
Designed for wireless communications, this graphene-based analog integrated circuit could improve today's wireless devices and points to the potential for a new set of appli-cations. At today's conventional frequencies, cell phone and transceiver signals could be improved, potentially allowing phones to work where they can't today while, at much higher frequencies, military and medical personnel could see concealed weapons or conduct medical imaging without the same radiation dangers of X-rays.
Graphene, the thinnest electronic material consisting of a single layer of carbon atoms packed in a honeycomb structure, possesses outstanding electrical, optical, mechanical and thermal properties that could make it less expensive and use less energy inside portable electronics like smart phones.
Despite significant scientific progress in the understanding of this novel material and the demonstration of high-performance graphene-based devices, the challenge of integrat-ing graphene transistors with other components on a single chip had not been realized until now, mostly due to poor adhesion of graphene with metals and oxides and the lack of reliable fabrication schemes to yield reproducible devices and circuits.
This new integrated circuit, consisting of a graphene transistor and a pair of inductors compactly integrated on a silicon carbide (SiC) wafer, overcomes these design hurdles by developing wafer-scale fabrication procedures that maintain the quality of graphene and, at the same time, allow for its integration to other components in a complex cir-cuitry.
“Just a few days before IBM commemorates its 100th anniversary, our scientists have achieved a nanotechnology milestone which continues the company's century-long pur-suit of innovation and technology leadership,” said T.C. Chen, vice president, Science and Technology, IBM Research. “This research breakthrough has the potential to in-crease the performance of communication devices that enable people to interact with greater efficiency.”
The breakthrough is also a major milestone for the Carbon Electronics for RF Applica-tions (CERA) program, funded by DARPA.
How it Works
In this demonstration, graphene is synthesized by thermal annealing of SiC wafers to form uniform graphene layers on the surface of SiC. The fabrication of graphene circuits involves four layers of metal and two layers of oxide to form top-gated graphene transis-tor, on-chip inductors and interconnects.
The circuit operates as a broadband frequency mixer, which produces output signals with mixed frequencies (sum and difference) of the input signals. Mixers are fundamental components of many electronic communication systems. Frequency mixing up to 10 GHz and excellent thermal stability up to 125°C has been demonstrated with the graphene integrated circuit.
The fabrication scheme developed can also be applied to other types of graphene mate-rials, including chemical vapor deposited (CVD) graphene films synthesized on metal films, and are also compatible with optical lithography for reduced cost and throughput.
Previously, the team has demonstrated standalone graphene transistors with a cut-off frequency as high as 100 GHz and 155 GHz for epitaxial and CVD graphene, for a gate length of 240 and 40 nm, respectively.
IBM and Nanotechnology Leadership
In the company's 100 year history, IBM has invested in scientific research to shape the future of computing. Today's announcement is a demonstration of the results garnered by IBM's world-leading scientists and the company's continual investment in and focus on exploratory research.
Nanotechnology is an enabling technology that is expected to spark advances in various fields. These include advanced functional materials, sensing, tools, healthcare, bio-analytics, water purification, energy technology, and more. IBM scientists apply their nanoscience expertise to problems outside of nanoelectronics and help tackle some of the biggest challenges of our time, such as more efficient use of solar energy, and new ways of purifying or desalinating water.
IBM also recently opened the Binnig and Rohrer Nanotechnology Center - a facility for world-class nanoscale research recently opened on the campus of IBM Research – Zu-rich. The building is the centerpiece of a 10-year strategic partnership in nanoscience between IBM and ETH Zurich, one of Europe's premier technical universities, where sci-entists will research novel nanoscale structures and devices to advance energy and in-formation technologies.
Plenty of DD on MediaG3 MDGC and MeshGlobal is available if you can sift through the distractions.

Folks, MediaG3 MDGC is a speculative investment. Very little has been verified by the company, but DD from shareholders has provided confirmation of relationships with the companies listed by MeshGlobal and MediaG3. The waiting period can be frustrating at times, but many shareholders I have personally spoken with continue to patiently wait for the curtain to be lifted and the fruits of MDGC and MGI's labor revealed.
