Such a wonderful vid from Ron Thiessen. Thanks so much for sharing it!
JMO. Die hard ppl shorting NAK are not just shorting a company, they are shorting an agenda. There are those who see NAK as a real threat to their agenda--not just a threat to fish but to our economy, to our (USA)independence and standing in the world.
NAK will not just help the Alaskans or Alaska economically, a successful NAK will help our country but providing much needed mineral and gold resources. We live in an economic age. Money provides independence and a lot of opportunities.
NAK is a blessing to this country to stay independent. That is why ppl are shorting--they have other goals in mind.
Do you think SA pulled the article bec there's so much confusion as whether Ron T is speaking at the conference?
Just wondering. Thanks for the post.
"We view the partnership announcement as a near-term event to take place no later than October. Stand tuned."
Nice!
I believe NAK is highly undervalued stock and will prove to be a great investment as time goes on, in the years to come. I believe it's worth the wait. Continue buying in the dips.
What I also think is this: this is just one "pebble" situated on a very large caldera. Very interesting to explore more deposits as time goes on...
"We believe the market's initial sell-off following the news misinterpreted an imminent positive partnership or buyout update."

Thanks, that really helps me a lot.
I was just going to ask if the if the EPA had finished withdrawing their restrictions -- and given the final go ahead. I thought I heard they had until Oct. 15th to do so.
I heard no one would want to partner until this was done.
Correct or not?
TIA
Jul. 12, 2017 8:07 AM ET|About: Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd (NAK)|By: Carl Surran, SA News Editor
Northern Dynasty Minerals (NYSEMKT:NAK) +13% premarket after the EPA said it had begun a process to withdraw proposed restrictions on the development of the Pebble Mine in Alaska.
Yup, my first LBSR trade was in 2010. Bought at .06 and sold at almost .15. Made money on the way down, too.
It's all good.
I think you're right--the decision on Silver Bell is about to be released. Not 100% sure about the date. I was thinking it was Aug. 10th.
Yes, you are right: 60 days for comments. And 120 days for a decision to come down.
Isn't some kind of news coming about the decision on the landmark land grab from the feds starting in the Clinton years? Some sort of decision had to be made in 120 days, I think.
At any rate, we will be hearing soon, sometime this month. (Perhaps by the 10th?)
Sorry this is so sketchy!
I wrote Norm Van Vactor on the 24th asking for his source about a new NAK partner by the end of this month, less than a week away.
He replied yesterday saying: "We don’t have an inside track but have heard various indications to some of anytime from “now” to the 3rd quarter."
Slightly different than his blog post. But the third quarter isn't far off... Sooner, rather than later, a new partner will be announced. IMO.
Thanks. Very enjoyable and interesting.
"Kerrisdale has quietly changed their mind. The company just recently deleted its short position, meaning it must cover and liquidate... as @SeanPSalazar put it... SHORT SQUEEZE!"

I heard someone else say $1.3 B... But the person could no longer find the link. We'll discover a lot soon.
Thanks a bunch.
Since Pruitt has sued the EPA so many times, be interesting to see if received any compensation for damages.
What the gov't did was over-reach (IMO) and there needs to be compensation so the EPA doesn't ride rough shod over others..
Just sayin'...
Originally wasn't NAK going after financial damages from the gov't? Seems to me they are entitled to some sort of financial compensation due to all the federal shenanigance... Anyone else think this?
I spoke too soon. Lookin' good...
So sad...
Thanks so much for the clarification. Yup,not given up on LBSR nor another fav, NAK.
Thanks again!
Grossan: a rust-colored deposit of mineral matter at the outcrop of a vein or orebody containing iron-bearing materials.
Definitely following you. Knowledgeable and insightful.
I did have to wait a couple days before being filled.
Thanks for the input. Your thoughts are valued.
Thanks. Honestly, I thought the ramping up was going to start end of last week (around April 22nd.) So glad I got more shares at 1.47, too.
Any thoughts on the possibility of some kind of cash payout to NAK from the EPA? (for damages, etc.)
TIA
Dittos. Me, too. May 4th is just around the corner. It will be interesting to find out what will happen with this admin's EPA and NAK. I wonder if there will be any kind of cash settlement to NAK for all the hassle from before. Any chance of that?
Thanks for all opinions.
Thanks for using your one post to help educate me. (I am sure all my lady friends will be impressed, too!)
Thanks for the help. As a woman, I missed this info growing up. Thanks!
V-2? Sorry I am such a dummy--not sure what that is.
TIA
I have actually wondered if all the law suits might even be helping NAK to become a bit more aggressive with their time frames and actions.
Not sure of course, but just seems like human nature--things have been moving so slowly (yes, we get that its the EPA, etc.) it's easy to become lackadaisical. Now, with so many law suits there's more incentive to keep things moving at a faster pace... "to get the lead out" so to speak.
Just sayin'...
the Chinese word for crisis is also opportunity
This woman's point of view :)
Thanks,I heard the complaints were from a disgruntled employee based on information from 2011. (And that the area he/they were talking about is not an area that will be drilled.)
I'm guessing, the law suits will be pretty much moot?
Any thoughts about the upcoming May 4th proceedings?
Thanks in Advance.
Boy, did you get this right. Nice going!
Thanks so much. I think the lifting of the veto will happen soon... For some reason, April rings a bell.
But we'll see.
Thanks for the info.
Any idea when NAK will be hearing from the fed gov't--isn't there something that is to be settled by April of this year. (Sorry I am so sketchy on all this.)
Go NAK!
