VERY frustrating trying to get a continual flow of information. I have a nice position but am very frustrated. While they appear to be doing their homework I wish they would release more information.
I am attempting to follow Blue Lagoon on a daily basis. I have researched this company for a year. I have a modest position and am considering adding. I look at mining news, Facebook, Twitter, you tube etc. I would welcome any thoughts as to how best to follow it.
Swapped our shares for what?
What sticky?
No I have not but I will email them tonight.
Thanks
After all this time I have, for the first time, become really confused. I thought I was fairly savvy but now fully admit to being lost.
Can someone please explain to me how in the world the proposed exchange would/will work? As of now, after the past week or so I have zero idea.
Unbelievable!
Seems like the better part of valor, lol.
Sure is fun huh?
So am I the only one who purchased shares way back in the dark ages and has stayed long the entire time, lol?
So I have not posted here for months. Am I the only one who purchased shares way back in the dark ages and has stayed long the entire time, lol?
Certainly hope you are correct.
This is serious business and in my opinion there is really no need for sarcasm. A little humor is fine but please let's not point fingers.
Well, one can hope. This will either work out or it won't. Time will tell. To tell you the truth, I would not bet either way.
Funny thing is that when people here were talking about $.50-$1.00 I always smiled. My wife and I got into QASP hoping that within a year or two we might see $.05-$.06. Looks like we were wrong but one never knows. I don't go in for this pie in the sky stuff and made an investment that does not look good. We will see.
This is the first time I have posted in months. I am doing so because I feel todays statement to be the most honest words we have yet heard. I have 40 years business experience and completely understand that these things take time, years in some cases. My experience allows me not to be as frustrated as some here.
I am 31 months into a business project that is finally seeing the light.
Time will tell.
Not certain what you mean by "think." We are all stuck here. There is really not much to think about. I, for one, have little hope but await further information from the PTB.
That is pretty much my thinking. I am thinking around $26.
I have been watching this stock for a while but have not jumped in yet. I am thinking of doing so when it drops back below $27.00. Just wonder what veterans in here have to offer in terms of advice.
I could not agree more. The liabilities are important only as they are balanced out by assets. The bottom line is that, as of now, you and I have no idea whether the liabilites are an issue or not.
As are we!
I din't risk more than I can afford. And,,, I did not get into this as an investment but it took me about 3 days to realize it was an investment, lol. I really do not want to lose money but we need to give it time.
Good luck to all of us.
Perhaps I am looking at this wrong but the price has nothing to do with how I look at it. A year or so ago I had a stake in Genworth. It was well into double digits. When the financial industry took a hit Genworth dropped and dropped and dropped. I knew that they had a strong foundation so I just watched. At $.80 I bought a bunch more and in a fairly short time I sold it around $12.
Now, most certainly Quasar is no Genworth. Not even close. I guess I learned patience in my many years of business. Right now I am working on an import deal that we started in May 2008. It is still being worked through and finally looks as if it may bear fruit.
The answer to your question is that I am in it to stay. My wife and I have a nice position @ $.14 so we are concerned. But what is the point of stressing and what is the point of selling? My best guess is that we should have a pretty good feel for the outcome by the end of the year. All along I have hoped to see the company with small and steady growth. I have never thought of this as a $1 stock. If we get good news and go to $.05-.10 I would would be most pleased.
I will try yet again. The gentleman has been in place for two weeks. I have no idea whether you have a business background but I have 40 years in business and as an investor. These things take time. My experience is that timelines are meaningless. Business deals are tough and must be thought out and worked through. To set an arbitrary date for this or for that has zero to do with the outcome.
As I have said for months and months. I have no idea if this will work out or not. I did not get in as an investor but it turned out that way. It will either work or it won't. But do not give the man two weeks and then declare his efforts to have failed.
Much thanks for your input. As I said, like any investment this "will either work or it won't." Certainly mosy long time investores understand the risk.
I really appreciate your post. I guess I need to lighten up. At least my wife says I do, lol.
Beem here for a long time and om going nowhere. Best of luck to all of us!
Good, thanks for the response. Let's hope that this investment starts going North for all our sakes.
Of course I meant no personal offense to anyone. Please do not go down that road because I will not respond. I repsect your ideas just as I expect you to listen to mine.
I am speaking of some of the obscene comments and cartoons I have seen here over the past months. I am one who enjoys thoughtful discussion and disagreement. Well intentioned people can agree to disagree. However, there have been comments and attempts at humor that are just sophmoric and rude and have no placce in this dialog.
Banker, much thanks for your hard work and your thoughts. It is nice to be able to talk structure in here instead of dealing with a bunch of poor mans' comedians!
Thank you sir and the very same to you! Have a great weekend.
My wife and I have been here for a long time. We have a nice position and have remained long. We will see what happens. All of the sophmoric comments over the past months are meaningless and a waste of time. This investment either works or it doesn't. All of the silliness has nothing to do with the outcome.
Banker,
I appreciate all of your comments over the past months. The boorishness in the room has kept me away. I generally check in here once, maybe twice a day for a couple of minutes. I don't know how you have been able to stand it. It is obvious to me that many here have very little to do and just want to make everyone else miserable.
How about a quick 18 and a beer?
I love this post. This is exactly what I have been trying to say for months. This is a gamble/investment. It either works or it doesn't. These constant timeline concerns are worthless. Business does not work that way. After 40 years of this I can promise you that in the vast majority of cases, deadlines and timelines end of having zero to do with the outcome.
I don't even know what you mean by that.
I have been very sucessful for 40 years but most certainly do not consider myself an expert. I am really please for you that you are. I realize that I will either make money or lose money on each investment. But I certainly don't let it take over my life 24/7. I think you should get in nine holes take a shower and have a beer. QASP will still be here when you return.
I am sincere when I say that I wish you the best.
Thanks for all of your wisdom. I learned more from your post than I have learned in my 40 years of sucessful business and investing.
What is your point?
My wife and I have a fairly large position and have been long for some time. We are going nowhere.
I have a nice position and have been long for quite a while. I am not going anywhere!
Thanks for the post.
I completely agree with you. However, I never said that I thought we will hit $.10. I never said that at all. What I said is that we need to let the PTB try to put a business plan into play. My further point was that IF they are sucessfull $.10-$15 is about the maximun I see and that IF this was to happen I would be more than satisfied.
